הללויה אודו קדם יי ארום טב ארום לעלם טוביה:
Twbyh lelm arwm Tb arwm yy qdm awdw hllwyh
Praise Yahweh! Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.

מן ייכול למללא גבורתא דיי ירשי לאשמעא לכולהון תושבחתיה:
thwshbkhthyh lkwlhwn lashmea yrshy dyy gbwrtha lmlla yykwl mn
Who can utter the mighty acts of Yahweh, or fully declare all his praise?

טוביהון דנטרי דינא עבדי צדקתא בכל עדן:
edn bkl tsdqtha ebdy dyna dnTry Twbyhwn
Blessed are those who keep justice. Blessed is one who does what is right at all times.

דכר יתי יי ברעוא טבא עם עמא אדכר לי בפורקנך:
bpwrqnk ly adkr ema em Tba brewa yy ythy dkr
Remember me, Yahweh, with the favor that you show to your people. Visit me with your salvation,

למחמי בטובת בחיריך למחדי בחדות עמך לאשתבחא עם אחסנתך:
akhsnthk em lashthbkha emk bkhdwth lmkhdy bkhyryk bTwbth lmkhmy
that I may see the prosperity of your chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation, that I may glory with your inheritance.

חבנא עם אבהתנא אעוינא ארשענא:
arshena aewyna abhthna em khbna
We have sinned with our fathers. We have committed iniquity. We have done wickedly.

אבהתנא במצרים לא אשכילו פרשותך לא דכרו ית סוגעי טובך וסריבו על מימרך על ימא בימא דסוף:
dswp byma yma el mymrk el wsrybw Twbk swgey yth dkrw la prshwthk ashkylw la bmtsrym abhthna
Our fathers didn’t understand your wonders in Egypt. They didn’t remember the multitude of your loving kindnesses, but were rebellious at the sea, even at the Red Sea.

ופרקנון בגלל שמיה לאודעא ית גבורתיה:
gbwrthyh yth lawdea shmyh bgll wprqnwn
Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power known.

ונזף בימא דסוף ואתנגיב והלכנון בתדומיא היך כבמדברא:
kbmdbra hyk bthdwmya whlknwn wathngyb dswp byma wnzp
He rebuked the Red Sea also, and it was dried up; so he led them through the depths, as through a desert.
10
ופרקנון מיד סנאה ופרק יתהון מן יד בעלי דבבא:
dbba bely yd mn ythhwn wprq snah myd wprqnwn
He saved them from the hand of him who hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.

וחפון מיא מעיקיהון חד מנהון לא אשתאר:
ashthar la mnhwn khd meyqyhwn mya wkhpwn
The waters covered their adversaries. There was not one of them left.
12
והימינו בשום מימריה שבחו תושבחתיה:
thwshbkhthyh shbkhw mymryh bshwm whymynw
Then they believed his words. They sang his praise.
13
סרהיבו אתנשיאו עובדוי לא אסתברו למלכתיה:
lmlkthyh asthbrw la ewbdwy athnshyaw srhybw
They soon forgot his works. They didn’t wait for his counsel,
14
ושיילו שאלתא במדברא ונסיאו אלהא באתר צדו:
tsdw bathr alha wnsyaw bmdbra shaltha wshyylw
but gave in to craving in the desert, and tested God in the wasteland.

ויהב להון שילותהון ושדר פתרנותא בנפשיהון:
bnpshyhwn pthrnwtha wshdr shylwthhwn lhwn wyhb
He gave them their request, but sent leanness into their soul.
16
וטננו למשה במשריתא לאהרן קדישא דיי:
dyy qdysha lahrn bmshrytha lmshh wTnnw
They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron, Yahweh’s saint.
17
אתפתחת ארעא ובלעת דתן וחפת על סיעת אבירם:
abyrm syeth el wkhpth dthn wbleth area athpthkhth
The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram.
18
ודלקת אשתא בסיעתהון להבותא תשלהב רשיעיא:
rshyeya thshlhb lhbwtha bsyethhwn ashtha wdlqth
A fire was kindled in their company. The flame burned up the wicked.
19
עבדו עגלא בחורב וסגידו למתכא:
lmthka wsgydw bkhwrb egla ebdw
They made a calf in Horeb, and worshiped a molten image.
20
ופדנון ית איקר רבונהון בדמות תור דאכיל עסבא ומזדהם:
wmzdhm esba dakyl thwr bdmwth rbwnhwn ayqr yth wpdnwn
Thus they exchanged their glory for an image of a bull that eats grass.
21
אתנשיאו אלהא פרקהון דעבד רברבן במצרים:
bmtsrym rbrbn debd prqhwn alha athnshyaw
They forgot God, their Savior, who had done great things in Egypt,
22
פרישן בארעא דחם דחילן על ימא דסוף:
dswp yma el dkhyln dkhm barea pryshn
wondrous works in the land of Ham, and awesome things by the Red Sea.
23
ואמר במימריה לשציותהון אלמלי משה בחיריה דקם ואתקף בצלו קדמוי לאתבא חמתי מלחבלא:
mlkhbla khmthy lathba qdmwy btslw wathqp dqm bkhyryh mshh almly lshtsywthhwn bmymryh wamr
Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had Moses, his chosen, not stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, so that he wouldn’t destroy them.

ואתרחיקת נפשהון בארעא רגינא לא המינו בפתגמיה:
bpthgmyh hmynw la rgyna barea npshhwn wathrkhyqth
Yes, they despised the pleasant land. They didn’t believe his word,
25
ואתרעמו במשכנהון לא קבילו במימרא דיי:
dyy bmymra qbylw la bmshknhwn wathremw
but murmured in their tents, and didn’t listen to Yahweh’s voice.
26
וארים ידיה בשבועה מטולהון למרמי יתהון קטילין במדברא:
bmdbra qTylyn ythhwn lmrmy mTwlhwn bshbweh ydyh warym
Therefore he swore to them that he would overthrow them in the wilderness,
27
ולאגלאה זרעהון בעמיא ולבדרותהון בארעתא:
baretha wlbdrwthhwn bemya zrehwn wlaglah
that he would overthrow their offspring among the nations, and scatter them in the lands.
28
ואדביקו בטעות פעור ואכלו נכסי מיתיא:
mythya nksy waklw pewr bTewth wadbyqw
They joined themselves also to Baal Peor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
29
וארגיזו קדמוי בעובדיהון ותקפת בהון מותנא:
mwthna bhwn wthqpth bewbdyhwn qdmwy wargyzw
Thus they provoked him to anger with their deeds. The plague broke in on them.
30
וקם פינחס וצלי ואתכלית מותנא:
mwthna wathklyth wtsly pynkhs wqm
Then Phinehas stood up and executed judgment, so the plague was stopped.
31
ואתחשבת ליה לזכו לדר ודר עד עלמא:
elma ed wdr ldr lzkw lyh wathkhshbth
That was credited to him for righteousness, for all generations to come.
32
וארגיזו על מי מצותא ובאיש למשה בגללהון:
bgllhwn lmshh wbaysh mtswtha my el wargyzw
They angered him also at the waters of Meribah, so that Moses was troubled for their sakes;
33
ארום סריבו על רוח קודשיה ופריש בספותיה:
bspwthyh wprysh qwdshyh rwkh el srybw arwm
because they were rebellious against his spirit, he spoke rashly with his lips.
34
לא שיציאו ית עמא די אמר יי להון:
lhwn yy amr dy ema yth shytsyaw la
They didn’t destroy the peoples, as Yahweh commanded them,
35
ואתערביבו בעמיא ואליפו ית עובדיהון:
ewbdyhwn yth walypw bemya watherbybw
but mixed themselves with the nations, and learned their works.
36
ופלחו ית טעותהון והוו להון לתקלא:
lthqla lhwn whww Tewthhwn yth wplkhw
They served their idols, which became a snare to them.
37
ודבחו ית בניהון וית בנתיהון למזיקיא:
lmzyqya bnthyhwn wyth bnyhwn yth wdbkhw
Yes, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons.
38
ושדו אדם זכי דמי בניהון ובנתיהון די דבחו לטעות דכנענאי ואטנפת ארעא בחובין דקטול:
dqTwl bkhwbyn area waTnpth dknenay lTewth dbkhw dy wbnthyhwn bnyhwn dmy zky adm wshdw
They shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan. The land was polluted with blood.

וטמיאו בעובדיהון וטעו במעלליהון:
bmellyhwn wTew bewbdyhwn wTmyaw
Thus they were defiled with their works, and prostituted themselves in their deeds.
40
ותקיף רוגזא דיי בעמיה ורחק ית אחסתיה:
akhsthyh yth wrkhq bemyh dyy rwgza wthqyp
Therefore Yahweh burned with anger against his people. He abhorred his inheritance.
41
ומסרינון ביד עמיא ושליטו בהון סנאיהון:
snayhwn bhwn wshlyTw emya byd wmsrynwn
He gave them into the hand of the nations. Those who hated them ruled over them.
42
ודחקינון בעלי דבביהון ואתכניעו תחות ידיהון:
ydyhwn thkhwth wathknyew dbbyhwn bely wdkhqynwn
Their enemies also oppressed them. They were brought into subjection under their hand.
43
זמנין סגיעין יפציאנון והנון יסרבון ליה במלכתהון ואתמכיאו בחוביהון:
bkhwbyhwn wathmkyaw bmlkthhwn lyh ysrbwn whnwn yptsyanwn sgyeyn zmnyn
He rescued them many times, but they were rebellious in their counsel, and were brought low in their iniquity.

וחמא כד עיק להון כד שמע ית צלותהון:
tslwthhwn yth shme kd lhwn eyq kd wkhma
Nevertheless he regarded their distress, when he heard their cry.
45
ודכיר להון קימיה ותב מן רוגזיה כסוגעי חסדוי:
khsdwy kswgey rwgzyh mn wthb qymyh lhwn wdkyr
He remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.
46
ויהב יתהון לרחמין באנפי כל דשבי יתהון:
ythhwn dshby kl banpy lrkhmyn ythhwn wyhb
He made them also to be pitied by all those who carried them captive.
47
פרוק יתנא יי אלהנא וכנוש יתנא מביני עממיא לאודעה בשום קודשך לאשתבחא בתושבחתך:
bthwshbkhthk lashthbkha qwdshk bshwm lawdeh emmya mbyny ythna wknwsh alhna yy ythna prwq
Save us, Yahweh, our God, gather us from among the nations, to give thanks to your holy name, to triumph in your praise!
