ܐܘܕܘ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܘܩܪܘ ܫܡܗ ܘܚܘܘ ܒܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܥܒ̈ܕܘܗܝ
ebdwhy bemm' wkhww shmh wqrw lmry' 'wdw
Give thanks to Yahweh! Call on his name! Make his doings known among the peoples.

ܫܒܚܘܗܝ ܘܙܡܪܘ ܠܗ ܘܐܫܬܥܘ ܟܠܗܝܢ ܬܕܡܪ̈ܬܗ
thdmrthh klhyn w'shthew lh wzmrw shbkhwhy
Sing to him, sing praises to him! Tell of all his marvelous works.

ܫܒܚܘ ܠܫܡܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܗ ܢܚܕܐ ܠܒܗܘܢ ܕܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܒܥܝܢ ܠܡܪܝܐ
lmry' dbeyn d'ylyn lbhwn nkhd' dqwdshh lshm' shbkhw
Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek Yahweh rejoice.

ܒܥܘ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܘܐܬܚܝܠܘ ܘܒܥܘ ܐ̈ܦܘܗܝ ܒܟܠܙܒܢ
bklzbn 'pwhy wbew w'thkhylw lmry' bew
Seek Yahweh and his strength. Seek his face forever more.

ܐܬܕܟܪ ܬܕܡܪ̈ܬܗ ܕܥܒܕ ܬܕܡܪ̈ܬܗ ܘܕܝܢܐ ܕܦܘܡܗ
dpwmh wdyn' thdmrthh debd thdmrthh 'thdkr
Remember his marvelous works that he has done: his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,

ܙܪܥܗ ܕܐܒܪܗܡ ܥܒܕܗ ܘܒܢ̈ܝ ܝܥܩܘܒ ܓܒ̈ܘܗܝ
gbwhy yeqwb wbny ebdh d'brhm zreh
you offspring of Abraham, his servant, you children of Jacob, his chosen ones.

ܗܘܝܘ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܢ ܕܒܟܘܠܗ̇ ܐܪܥܐ ܕܝܢ̈ܘܗܝ
dynwhy 're' dbkwlh 'lhn mry' hwyw
He is Yahweh, our God. His judgments are in all the earth.

ܡܬܕܟܪ ܠܥܠܡ ܩܝܡܗ ܡܠܬܐ ܕܦܩܕ ܠܐܠܦ ܕܪ̈ܝܢ
dryn l'lp dpqd mlth' qymh lelm mthdkr
He has remembered his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations,

ܕܐܩܝܡ ܩܝܡܗ ܥܡ ܐܒܪܗܡ ܘܡܘܡ̈ܬܗ ܥܡ ܐܝܣܚܩ
'yskhq em wmwmthh 'brhm em qymh d'qym
the covenant which he made with Abraham, his oath to Isaac,

ܘܣܗܕܘܬܗ ܥܡ ܝܥܩܘܒ ܩܝܡܐ ܠܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܠܥܠܡ
lelm l'ysryl qym' yeqwb em wshdwthh
and confirmed it to Jacob for a statute; to Israel for an everlasting covenant,

ܘܐܡܪ ܕܠܟ ܐܬܠܝܗ̇ ܐܪܥܐ ܕܟܢܥܢ ܚܒ̈ܠܐ ܕܝܪܬܘܬܗܘܢ
dyrthwthhwn khbl' dknen 're' 'thlyh dlk w'mr
saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance,”

ܟܕ ܙܥܘܪ̈ܝܢ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܒܡܢܝܢܐ ܩܠܝܠ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܘܥܡܘܪ̈ܐ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܒܗ̇
bh hwythwn wemwr' hwythwn qlyl bmnyn' hwythwn zewryn kd
when they were but a few men in number, yes, very few, and foreigners in it.

ܗܠܟܘ ܡܢ ܥܡܐ ܠܥܡܐ ܘܡܢ ܡܠܟܘܬܐ ܠܥܡܐ ܐܚܪܢܐ
'khrn' lem' mlkwth' wmn lem' em' mn hlkw
They went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.

ܘܠܐ ܫܒܩ ܠܒܪܢܫܐ ܕܢܛܠܘܡ ܐܢܘܢ ܐܟܣ ܡ̈ܠܟܐ ܥܠ ܐ̈ܦܝܗܘܢ
'pyhwn el mlk' 'ks 'nwn dnTlwm lbrnsh' shbq wl'
He allowed no one to do them wrong. Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes,

ܕܠܐ ܬܬܩܪܒܘܢ ܠܡܫܝܚ̈ܝ ܘܠܢܒܝ̈ܝ ܠܐ ܬܒܐܫܘܢ
thb'shwn l' wlnbyy lmshykhy ththqrbwn dl'
“Don’t touch my anointed ones! Do my prophets no harm!”

ܘܩܪܐ ܟܦܢܐ ܥܠ ܐܪܥܐ ܘܟܠܗ ܩܢܝܐ ܕܥܒܘܪܗܘܢ ܬܒܪ
thbr debwrhwn qny' wklh 're' el kpn' wqr'
He called for a famine on the land. He destroyed the food supplies.

ܫܕܪ ܩܕܡܝܗܘܢ ܓܒܪܐ ܠܥܒܕܘܬܐ ܐܙܕܒܢ ܝܘܣܦ
ywsp 'zdbn lebdwth' gbr' qdmyhwn shdr
He sent a man before them. Joseph was sold for a slave.

ܘܐܣܪ ܒܣܘ̈ܛܡܐ ܪ̈ܓܠܘܗܝ ܘܒܦܪ̈ܙܠܐ ܥܠܬ ܢܦܫܗ
npshh elth wbprzl' rglwhy bswTm' w'sr
They bruised his feet with shackles. His neck was locked in irons,

ܥܕܡܐ ܕܫܪܬ ܡܠܬܗ ܡܐܡܪܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܒܩܝܗܝ
bqyhy dmry' m'mrh mlthh dshrth edm'
until the time that his word happened, and Yahweh’s word proved him true.

ܫܕܪ ܡܠܟܐ ܘܫܪܝܗܝ ܥܒܕܗ ܫܠܝܛܐ ܥܠ ܥܡܗ
emh el shlyT' ebdh wshryhy mlk' shdr
The king sent and freed him, even the ruler of peoples, and let him go free.

ܡܪܐ ܥܠ ܒܝܬܗ ܘܫܠܝܛܐ ܥܠ ܟܠܗ ܩܢܝܢܗ
qnynh klh el wshlyT' bythh el mr'
He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all of his possessions,
22
ܕܢܪܕܐ ܫ̈ܠܝܛܐ ܐܝܟ ܕܨܒܐ ܘܠܩܫܝ̈ܫܐ ܢܚܟܡ
nkhkm wlqshysh' dtsb' 'yk shlyT' dnrd'
to discipline his princes at his pleasure, and to teach his elders wisdom.

ܥܠ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܠܡܨܪܝܢ ܘܝܥܩܘܒ ܥܡܪ ܒܡܫܟܢܐ ܕܚܡ
dkhm bmshkn' emr wyeqwb lmtsryn 'ysryl el
Israel also came into Egypt. Jacob lived in the land of Ham.

ܐܣܓܝ ܛܒ ܥܡܗ ܘܐܥܫܢܗ ܝܬܝܪ ܡܢ ܒ̈ܥܠܕܒܒܘܗܝ
beldbbwhy mn ythyr w'eshnh emh Tb 'sgy
He increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their adversaries.

ܘܗܦܟܘ ܠܒܗܘܢ ܠܡܣܢܝܗ ܠܥܡܗ ܘܠܡܬܢܟܠܘ ܥܠ ܥܒ̈ܕܘܗܝ
ebdwhy el wlmthnklw lemh lmsnyh lbhwn whpkw
He turned their heart to hate his people, to conspire against his servants.

ܫܕܪ ܠܡܘܫܐ ܥܒܕܗ ܘܠܐܗܪܘܢ ܕܓܒܐ
dgb' wl'hrwn ebdh lmwsh' shdr
He sent Moses, his servant, and Aaron, whom he had chosen.

ܥܒܕ ܒܗܘܢ ܐܬܘ̈ܬܗ ܘܬܕܡܪ̈ܬܗ ܒܐܪܥܐ ܕܚܡ
dkhm b're' wthdmrthh 'thwthh bhwn ebd
They performed miracles among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.

ܫܕܪ ܚܫܘܟܐ ܘܐܚܫܟ ܘܡܪܡܪܘ ܡܠܬܗ
mlthh wmrmrw w'khshk khshwk' shdr
He sent darkness, and made it dark. They didn’t rebel against his words.

ܗܦܟ ܡܝ̈ܝܗܘܢ ܠܕܡܐ ܘܐܡܝܬ ܢܘܢܝ̈ܗܘܢ
nwnyhwn w'myth ldm' myyhwn hpk
He turned their waters into blood, and killed their fish.

ܐܪܚܫ ܒܐܪܥܗܘܢ ܐܘܪ̈ܕܥܐ ܘܒܬܘܘ̈ܢܐ ܕܡ̈ܠܟܝܗܘܢ
dmlkyhwn wbthwwn' 'wrde' b'rehwn 'rkhsh
Their land swarmed with frogs, even in the rooms of their kings.

ܐܡܪ ܘܐܝܬܝ ܚܠܘܛܐ ܘܩܠܡܐ ܒܟܠܗ ܬܚܘܡܗܘܢ
thkhwmhwn bklh wqlm' khlwT' w'ythy 'mr
He spoke, and swarms of flies came, and lice in all their borders.

ܥܒܕ ܡܛܪܗܘܢ ܒܪܕܐ ܘܢܘܪܐ ܐܬܓܘܙܠܬ ܒܐܪܥܗܘܢ
b'rehwn 'thgwzlth wnwr' brd' mTrhwn ebd
He gave them hail for rain, with lightning in their land.

ܡܚܐ ܓܘܦܢܝ̈ܗܘܢ ܘܬܐ̈ܢܝܗܘܢ ܘܬܒܪ ܐ̈ܝܠܢܐ ܕܬܚ̈ܘܡܝܗܘܢ
dthkhwmyhwn 'yln' wthbr wth'nyhwn gwpnyhwn mkh'
He struck their vines and also their fig trees, and shattered the trees of their country.

ܐܡܪ ܘܐܝܬܝ ܩܡܨܐ ܘܙܚܠܐ ܕܠܐ ܡܢܝܢ ܒܟܠܗ̇ ܐܪܥܗܘܢ
'rehwn bklh mnyn dl' wzkhl' qmts' w'ythy 'mr
He spoke, and the locusts came with the grasshoppers, without number.

ܐܟܠ ܟܠܗ ܥܣܒܐ ܘܦܐܪ̈ܐ ܕܐܪ̈ܥܬܗܘܢ
d'rethhwn wp'r' esb' klh 'kl
They ate up every plant in their land, and ate up the fruit of their ground.
36
ܩܛܠ ܟܠ ܒܘܟܪ̈ܐ ܕܡܨܪܝܢ ܪܝܫ ܟܘܠܗ ܝܠܕܗܘܢ
yldhwn kwlh rysh dmtsryn bwkr' kl qTl
He struck also all the firstborn in their land, the first fruits of all their manhood.

ܐܦܩ ܐܢܘܢ ܒܣܐܡܐ ܘܒܕܗܒܐ ܘܠܝܬ ܒܫܪ̈ܒܬܗܘܢ ܕܟܪܝܗ
dkryh bshrbthhwn wlyth wbdhb' bs'm' 'nwn 'pq
He brought them out with silver and gold. There was not one feeble person among his tribes.

ܚܕܝܬ ܡܨܪܝܢ ܒܡܦܩܬܗܘܢ ܡܛܠ ܕܢܦܠܬ ܕܚܠܬܗܘܢ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ
elyhwn dkhlthhwn dnplth mTl bmpqthhwn mtsryn khdyth
Egypt was glad when they departed, for the fear of them had fallen on them.
39
ܦܪܣ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܥܢܢܐ ܘܛܠܠ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܢܘܪܐ ܠܡܢܗܪܘ ܒܠܠܝܐ

He spread a cloud for a covering, fire to give light in the night.

ܫܐܠܘ ܘܐܝܬܝ ܠܗܘܢ ܡܐܟܘܠܬܐ ܘܠܚܡܐ ܕܫܡܝܐ ܣܒܥ ܐܢܘܢ
'nwn sbe dshmy' wlkhm' m'kwlth' lhwn w'ythy sh'lw
They asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of the sky.
41
ܦܬܚ ܛܪܢܐ ܘܪܕܘ ܡ̈ܝܐ ܘܗܠܟܘ ܡ̈ܝܐ ܒܐܬܪܐ ܨܗܝܐ
tshy' b'thr' my' whlkw my' wrdw Trn' pthkh
He opened the rock, and waters gushed out. They ran as a river in the dry places.

ܡܛܠ ܕܐܬܕܟܪ ܡܠܬܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܗ ܕܐܒܪܗܡ ܥܒܕܗ
ebdh d'brhm dqwdshh mlth' d'thdkr mTl
For he remembered his holy word, and Abraham, his servant.
43
ܐܦܩ ܠܥܡܗ ܒܚܕܘܬܐ ܘܒܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܠܓܕܘ̈ܕܘܗܝ
lgdwdwhy wbthshbwkhth' bkhdwth' lemh 'pq
He brought his people out with joy, his chosen with singing.

ܝܗܒ ܠܗܘܢ ܐܪ̈ܥܬܐ ܕܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܥܡܠܐ ܕܐܡ̈ܘܬܐ ܝܪܬܘ
yrthw d'mwth' weml' demm' 'reth' lhwn yhb
He gave them the lands of the nations. They took the labor of the peoples in possession,

ܕܢܙܕܗܪܘܢ ܒܦܘܩ̈ܕܢܘܗܝ ܘܢܡܘ̈ܣܘܗܝ ܢܛܪܘܢ
nTrwn wnmwswhy bpwqdnwhy dnzdhrwn
that they might keep his statutes, and observe his laws. Praise Yah!
