1
שבחו קדם יי קרו בשמיה הודעון בעממיא עובדוי:
ewbdwy bemmya hwdewn bshmyh qrw yy qdm shbkhw
Give thanks to Yahweh! Call on his name! Make his doings known among the peoples.
2
שבחו קדמוי זמרו קדמוי מלילו בכל פרישותיה:
pryshwthyh bkl mlylw qdmwy zmrw qdmwy shbkhw
Sing to him, sing praises to him! Tell of all his marvelous works.
3
שבחו בשום קודשיה יחדי לבהון דתבעי אולפן מן קדם יי:
yy qdm mn awlpn dthbey lbhwn ykhdy qwdshyh bshwm shbkhw
Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek Yahweh rejoice.
4
תבעו אולפנא דיי ואוריתה אקבילו אפוי תדירא:
thdyra apwy aqbylw wawrythh dyy awlpna thbew
Seek Yahweh and his strength. Seek his face forever more.

אדכרו פרישותיה די עבד תמהוי ודיני פומיה:
pwmyh wdyny thmhwy ebd dy pryshwthyh adkrw
Remember his marvelous works that he has done: his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,

זרעא דאברהם עבדיה בני יעקב בחירוי:
bkhyrwy yeqb bny ebdyh dabrhm zrea
you offspring of Abraham, his servant, you children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
7
הוא יי אלהנא בכל ארעא מתיחין דינוי:
dynwy mthykhyn area bkl alhna yy hwa
He is Yahweh, our God. His judgments are in all the earth.
8
דכיר לעלם קימיה פתגם פקד לאלפי דרין:
dryn lalpy pqd pthgm qymyh lelm dkyr
He has remembered his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations,
9
די גזר עם אברהם וקימיה ליצחק:
lytskhq wqymyh abrhm em gzr dy
the covenant which he made with Abraham, his oath to Isaac,
10
וקימנה ליעקב לגזירא לישראל קים עלם:
elm qym lyshral lgzyra lyeqb wqymnh
and confirmed it to Jacob for a statute; to Israel for an everlasting covenant,

למימר לך אתן ית ארעא דכנען עדב אחסנתכון:
akhsnthkwn edb dknen area yth athn lk lmymr
saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance,”
12
כד הויתון עם דמנין כזעירין ויתבין בה:
bh wythbyn kzeyryn dmnyn em hwythwn kd
when they were but a few men in number, yes, very few, and foreigners in it.
13
והליכו מן עמא לעמא ממלכותא לעמא אחורן:
akhwrn lema mmlkwtha lema ema mn whlykw
They went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.
14
לא שבק אנש לטלומהון ואוכח בגינהון מלכיא:
mlkya bgynhwn wawkkh lTlwmhwn ansh shbq la
He allowed no one to do them wrong. Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes,
15
לא תקרבון במשיחי ובנביאי לא תבאישון:
thbayshwn la wbnbyay bmshykhy thqrbwn la
“Don’t touch my anointed ones! Do my prophets no harm!”
16
ואכלי כפנא על ארעא כל סעיד לחמא תבר:
thbr lkhma seyd kl area el kpna wakly
He called for a famine on the land. He destroyed the food supplies.
17
שדר קדמיהון גבר חכים לעבדא אזדבן יוסף:
ywsp azdbn lebda khkym gbr qdmyhwn shdr
He sent a man before them. Joseph was sold for a slave.
18
עניאו בשושלתא רגלוי שיד דפרזל עלת בנפשיה:
bnpshyh elth dprzl shyd rglwy bshwshltha enyaw
They bruised his feet with shackles. His neck was locked in irons,
19
עד עידן דאתא פתגמיה מימרא דיי סנן יתיה:
ythyh snn dyy mymra pthgmyh datha eydn ed
until the time that his word happened, and Yahweh’s word proved him true.
20
שדר מלך ושריה שולטן בעמיא ופתח ליה:
lyh wpthkh bemya shwlTn wshryh mlk shdr
The king sent and freed him, even the ruler of peoples, and let him go free.
21
שויה רבון על ביתיה ושליט בכל קניניה:
qnynyh bkl wshlyT bythyh el rbwn shwyh
He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all of his possessions,
22
למיסר רברבנוי היך בנפשיה ומן סבוי אתחכם:
athkhkm sbwy wmn bnpshyh hyk rbrbnwy lmysr
to discipline his princes at his pleasure, and to teach his elders wisdom.

ואתא ישראל למצרים ויעקב דר בארעא דחם:
dkhm barea dr wyeqb lmtsrym yshral watha
Israel also came into Egypt. Jacob lived in the land of Ham.
24
ואפיש ית עמיה לחדא ואתקפיה מן מעיקוי:
meyqwy mn wathqpyh lkhda emyh yth wapysh
He increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their adversaries.
25
אתהפיך לבהון למסגי עמיה לחשבא בישן על עבדוי:
ebdwy el byshn lkhshba emyh lmsgy lbhwn athhpyk
He turned their heart to hate his people, to conspire against his servants.

שלח משה עבדיה אהרן דאתרעי ביה:
byh dathrey ahrn ebdyh mshh shlkh
He sent Moses, his servant, and Aaron, whom he had chosen.
27
שוו בהון פתגמי אתותוהי ותמהוי בארעא דחם:
dkhm barea wthmhwy athwthwhy pthgmy bhwn shww
They performed miracles among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
28
שדר חשוכא וחשכינון ולא סריבו על פתגמיה:
pthgmyh el srybw wla wkhshkynwn khshwka shdr
He sent darkness, and made it dark. They didn’t rebel against his words.
29
הפך לאדמא מימיהון וקטל כל נוניהון:
nwnyhwn kl wqTl mymyhwn ladma hpk
He turned their waters into blood, and killed their fish.
30
רחיש ארעתהון עורדעניא בקטוני מלכיהון:
mlkyhwn bqTwny ewrdenya arethhwn rkhysh
Their land swarmed with frogs, even in the rooms of their kings.
31
אמר ואיתי ערבובין קלמתא בכל תחומיהון:
thkhwmyhwn bkl qlmtha erbwbyn waythy amr
He spoke, and swarms of flies came, and lice in all their borders.
32
יהב מטרהון ברדא אשא מצלהבא בארעהון:
barehwn mtslhba asha brda mTrhwn yhb
He gave them hail for rain, with lightning in their land.
33
ומחא גופניהון ותיניהון ותבר אילני תחומיהון:
thkhwmyhwn aylny wthbr wthynyhwn gwpnyhwn wmkha
He struck their vines and also their fig trees, and shattered the trees of their country.

אמר ואיתי גובאי ורשונא לית מנין:
mnyn lyth wrshwna gwbay waythy amr
He spoke, and the locusts came with the grasshoppers, without number.
35
וגמר כל עסבא בארעהון ואכל פרי ארעהון:
arehwn pry wakl barehwn esba kl wgmr
They ate up every plant in their land, and ate up the fruit of their ground.
36
ומחא כל בוכרא במצרים שרוי לכל תוקפיהון:
thwqpyhwn lkl shrwy bmtsrym bwkra kl wmkha
He struck also all the firstborn in their land, the first fruits of all their manhood.
37
ואפקינון בסימא ובדהבא ולא אתדנו עם מצראי למתקלא:
lmthqla mtsray em athdnw wla wbdhba bsyma wapqynwn
He brought them out with silver and gold. There was not one feeble person among his tribes.
38
חדון מצראי במפקהון ארום נפל דחלהון עליהון:
elyhwn dkhlhwn npl arwm bmpqhwn mtsray khdwn
Egypt was glad when they departed, for the fear of them had fallen on them.
39
פרסי לענני היך וילתא ואשתא לאנהרא בליליא:
blylya lanhra washtha wyltha hyk lenny prsy
He spread a cloud for a covering, fire to give light in the night.
40
שאילו בסרא ואיתי פסיונין ולחמא דשמיא ישבעינון:
yshbeynwn dshmya wlkhma psywnyn waythy bsra shaylw
They asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of the sky.

פתח טינרא ודאיבו מיא הליכו בצחותא היך נהרא:
nhra hyk btskhwtha hlykw mya wdaybw Tynra pthkh
He opened the rock, and waters gushed out. They ran as a river in the dry places.
42
ארום דכר ית ממלל קודשיה די עם אברהם עבדיה:
ebdyh abrhm em dy qwdshyh mmll yth dkr arwm
For he remembered his holy word, and Abraham, his servant.

ואפיק עמיה בחדוא בתושבחתא ית בחירוי:
bkhyrwy yth bthwshbkhtha bkhdwa emyh wapyq
He brought his people out with joy, his chosen with singing.
44
יהב להון ארעת עממין ולעות אומיא ירתון:
yrthwn awmya wlewth emmyn areth lhwn yhb
He gave them the lands of the nations. They took the labor of the peoples in possession,
