למה יי תקום ברחיק תטמר במדור קדישין לעדני עקתא:
eqtha ledny qdyshyn bmdwr thTmr brkhyq thqwm yy lmh
Why do you stand far off, Yahweh? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?

בגסות רשיעא ידלק עניא יתאחדון בנכלותא דנא די חשבו למעבד:
lmebd khshbw dy dna bnklwtha ythakhdwn enya ydlq rshyea bgswth
In arrogance, the wicked hunt down the weak. They are caught in the schemes that they devise.

מטול דאשתבח רשיעא על רגרוג נפשיה דמברך גברא טלומא מרחק מימרא דיי:
dyy mymra mrkhq Tlwma gbra dmbrk npshyh rgrwg el rshyea dashthbkh mTwl
For the wicked boasts of his heart’s cravings. He blesses the greedy and condemns Yahweh.

רשיעא בגסות רוחיה לא יתבר אלהא ויימר בלביה דלא גלין קדם יי כולהון מחשבתוי:
mkhshbthwy kwlhwn yy qdm glyn dla blbyh wyymr alha ythbr la rwkhyh bgswth rshyea
The wicked, in the pride of his face, has no room in his thoughts for God.

מצלחין אורחתיה בכל עדן רחיקין דינך מן קבליה בכל מעיקוי יזעוף בהון:
bhwn yzewp meyqwy bkl qblyh mn dynk rkhyqyn edn bkl awrkhthyh mtslkhyn
His ways are prosperous at all times. He is arrogant, and your laws are far from his sight. As for all his adversaries, he sneers at them.

יימר בלבביה לא אזוע מדר לדר מלמעבד ביש:
bysh mlmebd ldr mdr azwe la blbbyh yymr
He says in his heart, “I shall not be shaken. For generations I shall have no trouble.”

לוטין פומיה מלי נכלי ורמיותא תחות לישניה לאות ושקר:
wshqr lawth lyshnyh thkhwth wrmywtha nkly mly pwmyh lwTyn
His mouth is full of cursing, deceit, and oppression. Under his tongue is mischief and iniquity.

יתיב בכמני דדרתיא בטומריא יקטול זכאה עינוי למסכניא יטשון:
yTshwn lmsknya eynwy zkah yqTwl bTwmrya ddrthya bkmny ythyb
He lies in wait near the villages. From ambushes, he murders the innocent. His eyes are secretly set against the helpless.

יכמון בטומריא היך אריא במטלליה יכמון למתפש עניא יתפש עניא במגריה במצדתיה:
bmtsdthyh bmgryh enya ythpsh enya lmthpsh ykmwn bmTllyh arya hyk bTwmrya ykmwn
He lurks in secret as a lion in his ambush. He lies in wait to catch the helpless. He catches the helpless when he draws him in his net.

ידכדך וישוח ויפל בתקוף במנוי עניא:
enya bmnwy bthqwp wypl wyshwkh ydkdk
The helpless are crushed. They collapse. They fall under his strength.

יימר בלביה אתנשי אלהא טמר אפוי לא חמי לעלמין:
lelmyn khmy la apwy Tmr alha athnshy blbyh yymr
He says in his heart, “God has forgotten. He hides his face. He will never see it.”

קום יי קים שבועת ידך לא תנשי ענותני:
enwthny thnshy la ydk shbweth qym yy qwm
Arise, Yahweh! God, lift up your hand! Don’t forget the helpless.

מטול מה רחיק רשיעא אלהא יימר בלביה לא תתבעי:
ththbey la blbyh yymr alha rshyea rkhyq mh mTwl
Why does the wicked person condemn God, and say in his heart, “God won’t call me into account”?

גלי קדמך מטול דאנת לאות ורגיז על רשיעא תסער אסתכל למשלם אגרא טב לצדיקיא בידך עלך יסוברון עניך יתם אנת הוית סעיד:
seyd hwyth anth ythm enyk yswbrwn elk bydk ltsdyqya Tb agra lmshlm asthkl thser rshyea el wrgyz lawth danth mTwl qdmk gly
But you do see trouble and grief. You consider it to take it into your hand. You help the victim and the fatherless.

תבר אדרעיהון דרשיעי ובישי יתבעון רשעתהון לא ישכחו:
yshkkhw la rshethhwn ythbewn wbyshy drshyey adreyhwn thbr
Break the arm of the wicked. As for the evil man, seek out his wickedness until you find none.

יי מליך לעלמי עלמיא אבדו עממי מארעיה:
mareyh emmy abdw elmya lelmy mlyk yy
Yahweh is King forever and ever! The nations will perish out of his land.

ריגתא דענותני שמיע קדמך יי תתקין לבהון תצלי אודנך:
awdnk thtsly lbhwn ththqyn yy qdmk shmye denwthny rygtha
Yahweh, you have heard the desire of the humble. You will prepare their heart. You will cause your ear to hear,
