ומליל יי עם משה במדברא דסיני בשתא תניתא למפקהון מארעא דמצרים בירחא קדמאה למימר:
wmlyl yy em mshh bmdbra dsyny bshtha thnytha lmpqhwn marea dmtsrym byrkha qdmah lmymr
Yahweh spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,

ויעבדון בני ישראל ית פסחא בזמניה:
wyebdwn bny yshral yth pskha bzmnyh
“Let the children of Israel keep the Passover in its appointed season.

בארבעת עשרא יומא בירחא הדין בין שמשיא תעבדון יתיה בזמניה ככל גזרתיה וככל דחזי ליה תעבדון יתיה:
barbeth eshra ywma byrkha hdyn byn shmshya thebdwn ythyh bzmnyh kkl gzrthyh wkkl dkhzy lyh thebdwn ythyh
On the fourteenth day of this month, at evening, you shall keep it in its appointed season. You shall keep it according to all its statutes and according to all its ordinances.”

ומליל משה עם בני ישראל למעבד פסחא:
wmlyl mshh em bny yshral lmebd pskha
Moses told the children of Israel that they should keep the Passover.

ועבדו ית פסחא בניסן בארבעת עשרא יומא לירחא בין שמשיא במדברא דסיני ככל די פקיד יי ית משה כן עבדו בני ישראל:
webdw yth pskha bnysn barbeth eshra ywma lyrkha byn shmshya bmdbra dsyny kkl dy pqyd yy yth mshh kn ebdw bny yshral
They kept the Passover in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at evening, in the wilderness of Sinai. According to all that Yahweh commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did.

והוו גבריא די הוו מסאבין לטמי נפשא דאנשא ולא יכילו למעבד פסחא ביומא ההוא וקריבו קדם משה וקדם אהרן ביומא ההוא:
whww gbrya dy hww msabyn lTmy npsha dansha wla ykylw lmebd pskha bywma hhwa wqrybw qdm mshh wqdm ahrn bywma hhwa
There were certain men who were unclean because of the dead body of a man, so that they could not keep the Passover on that day, and they came before Moses and Aaron on that day.

ואמרו גבריא האנון ליה אנחנא מסאבין לטמי נפשא דאנשא למא נתמנע בדיל דלא לקרבא ית קרבנא דיי בזמניה בגו בני ישראל:
wamrw gbrya hanwn lyh ankhna msabyn lTmy npsha dansha lma nthmne bdyl dla lqrba yth qrbna dyy bzmnyh bgw bny yshral
Those men said to him, “We are unclean because of the dead body of a man. Why are we kept back, that we may not offer the offering of Yahweh in its appointed season among the children of Israel?”

ואמר להון משה אוריכו עד דאשמע מה דאתפקד קדם יי על די לכון:
wamr lhwn mshh awrykw ed dashme mh dathpqd qdm yy el dy lkwn
Moses answered them, “Wait, that I may hear what Yahweh will command concerning you.”

מלל עם בני ישראל למימר גבר גבר ארי יהי מסאב לטמי נפשא דאנשא או בארחא רחיקא לכון או לדריכון ויעבד פסחא קדם יי:
mll em bny yshral lmymr gbr gbr ary yhy msab lTmy npsha dansha aw barkha rkhyqa lkwn aw ldrykwn wyebd pskha qdm yy
“Say to the children of Israel, ‘If any man of you or of your generations is unclean by reason of a dead body, or is on a journey far away, he shall still keep the Passover to Yahweh.

בירחא תנינא בארבעת עשרא יומא בין שמשיא יעבדון יתיה על פטיר ומררין ייכלניה:
byrkha thnyna barbeth eshra ywma byn shmshya yebdwn ythyh el pTyr wmrryn yyklnyh
In the second month, on the fourteenth day at evening they shall keep it; they shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.

לא ישארון מניה עד צפרא וגרמא לא יתברון ביה ככל גזרת פסחא יעבדון יתיה:
la ysharwn mnyh ed tspra wgrma la ythbrwn byh kkl gzrth pskha yebdwn ythyh
They shall leave none of it until the morning, nor break a bone of it. According to all the statute of the Passover they shall keep it.

וגברא דהוא דכי ובארח לא הוה ויתמנע למעבד פסחא וישתצי אנשא ההיא מעמה ארי קרבנא דיי לא קריב בזמניה חוביה יקבל גברא ההוא:
wgbra dhwa dky wbarkh la hwh wythmne lmebd pskha wyshthtsy ansha hhya memh ary qrbna dyy la qryb bzmnyh khwbyh yqbl gbra hhwa
But the man who is clean, and is not on a journey, and fails to keep the Passover, that soul shall be cut off from his people. Because he didn’t offer the offering of Yahweh in its appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.

וארי יתגיר עמכון גיורא ויעבד פסחא קדם יי כגזרת פסחא וכדחזי ליה כן יעבד קימא חד יהי לכון ולגיורא וליציבא דארעא:
wary ythgyr emkwn gywra wyebd pskha qdm yy kgzrth pskha wkdkhzy lyh kn yebd qyma khd yhy lkwn wlgywra wlytsyba darea
“‘If a foreigner lives among you and desires to keep the Passover to Yahweh, then he shall do so according to the statute of the Passover, and according to its ordinance. You shall have one statute, both for the foreigner and for him who is born in the land.’”

וביומא דאתקם ית משכנא חפא עננא ית משכנא למשכנא דסהדותא וברמשא הוה על משכנא כחזו אשתא עד צפרא:
wbywma dathqm yth mshkna khpa enna yth mshkna lmshkna dshdwtha wbrmsha hwh el mshkna kkhzw ashtha ed tspra
On the day that the tabernacle was raised up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, even the Tent of the Testimony. At evening it was over the tabernacle, as it were the appearance of fire, until morning.

כן הוה תדירא עננא חפי ליה וחזו אשתא בליליא:
kn hwh thdyra enna khpy lyh wkhzw ashtha blylya
So it was continually. The cloud covered it, and the appearance of fire by night.

ולפום אסתלקות עננא מעלוי משכנא ובתר כן נטלין בני ישראל ובאתרא דשרי תמן עננא תמן שרן בני ישראל:
wlpwm asthlqwth enna melwy mshkna wbthr kn nTlyn bny yshral wbathra dshry thmn enna thmn shrn bny yshral
Whenever the cloud was taken up from over the Tent, then after that the children of Israel traveled; and in the place where the cloud remained, there the children of Israel encamped.

על מימרא דיי נטלין בני ישראל ועל מימרא דיי שרן כל יומי די שרי עננא על משכנא שרן:
el mymra dyy nTlyn bny yshral wel mymra dyy shrn kl ywmy dy shry enna el mshkna shrn
At the commandment of Yahweh, the children of Israel traveled, and at the commandment of Yahweh they encamped. As long as the cloud remained on the tabernacle they remained encamped.

ובאורכות עננא על משכנא יומין סגיאין ויטרון בני ישראל ית מטרת מימרא דיי ולא נטלין:
wbawrkwth enna el mshkna ywmyn sgyayn wyTrwn bny yshral yth mTrth mymra dyy wla nTlyn
When the cloud stayed on the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel kept Yahweh’s command, and didn’t travel.

ואית די הוה עננא יומי דמנין על משכנא על מימרא דיי שרן ועל מימרא דיי נטלין:
wayth dy hwh enna ywmy dmnyn el mshkna el mymra dyy shrn wel mymra dyy nTlyn
Sometimes the cloud was a few days on the tabernacle; then according to the commandment of Yahweh they remained encamped, and according to the commandment of Yahweh they traveled.

ואית די הוה עננא מרמשא עד צפרא ומסתלק עננא בצפרא ונטלין או ימם ולילי ומסתלק עננא ונטלין:
wayth dy hwh enna mrmsha ed tspra wmsthlq enna btspra wnTlyn aw ymm wlyly wmsthlq enna wnTlyn
Sometimes the cloud was from evening until morning; and when the cloud was taken up in the morning, they traveled; or by day and by night, when the cloud was taken up, they traveled.

או תרין יומין או ירחא או עדן בעדן באורכות עננא על משכנא למשרי עלוהי שרן בני ישראל ולא נטלין ובאסתלקותיה נטלין:
aw thryn ywmyn aw yrkha aw edn bedn bawrkwth enna el mshkna lmshry elwhy shrn bny yshral wla nTlyn wbasthlqwthyh nTlyn
Whether it was two days, or a month, or a year that the cloud stayed on the tabernacle, remaining on it, the children of Israel remained encamped, and didn’t travel; but when it was taken up, they traveled.

על מימרא דיי שרן ועל מימרא דיי נטלין ית מטרת מימרא דיי נטרין על מימרא דיי בידא דמשה:
el mymra dyy shrn wel mymra dyy nTlyn yth mTrth mymra dyy nTryn el mymra dyy byda dmshh
At the commandment of Yahweh they encamped, and at the commandment of Yahweh they traveled. They kept Yahweh’s command, at the commandment of Yahweh by Moses.
