וקריבו רישי אבהתא לזרעית בני גלעד בר מכיר בר מנשה מזרעית בני יוסף ומלילו קדם משה וקדם רברביא רישי אבהתא לבני ישראל:
yshral lbny abhtha ryshy rbrbya wqdm mshh qdm wmlylw ywsp bny mzreyth mnshh br mkyr br gled bny lzreyth abhtha ryshy wqrybw
The heads of the fathers’ households of the family of the children of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near and spoke before Moses and before the princes, the heads of the fathers’ households of the children of Israel.

ואמרו ית רבוני פקיד יי למתן ית ארעא באחסנא בעדבא לבני ישראל ורבוני אתפקד בממרא דיי למתן ית אחסנת צלפחד אחונא לבנתיה:
lbnthyh akhwna tslpkhd akhsnth yth lmthn dyy bmmra athpqd wrbwny yshral lbny bedba bakhsna area yth lmthn yy pqyd rbwny yth wamrw
They said, “Yahweh commanded my lord to give the land for inheritance by lot to the children of Israel. My lord was commanded by Yahweh to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother to his daughters.

ויהוין לחד מבני שבטיא דבני ישראל לנשין ותתמנע אחסנתהון מאחסנת אבהתנא ותתוסף על אחסנת שבטיא די יהוין להון ומעדב אחסנתא יתמנע:
ythmne akhsntha wmedb lhwn yhwyn dy shbTya akhsnth el wththwsp abhthna makhsnth akhsnthhwn wththmne lnshyn yshral dbny shbTya mbny lkhd wyhwyn
If they are married to any of the sons of the other tribes of the children of Israel, then their inheritance will be taken away from the inheritance of our fathers, and will be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they shall belong. So it will be taken away from the lot of our inheritance.

ואם יהי יובלא לבני ישראל ותתוסף אחסנתהון על אחסנת שבטא די תהוין להון ומאחסנת שבטא דאבהתנא יתמנע אחסנתהן:
akhsnthhn ythmne dabhthna shbTa wmakhsnth lhwn thhwyn dy shbTa akhsnth el akhsnthhwn wththwsp yshral lbny ywbla yhy wam
When the jubilee of the children of Israel comes, then their inheritance will be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they shall belong. So their inheritance will be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.”

ופקיד משה ית בני ישראל על מימרא דיי למימר יאות שבטא דבני יוסף ממללין:
mmllyn ywsp dbny shbTa yawth lmymr dyy mymra el yshral bny yth mshh wpqyd
Moses commanded the children of Israel according to Yahweh’s word, saying, “The tribe of the sons of Joseph speak what is right.

דין פתגמא די פקיד יי לבנת צלפחד למימר לדתקין בעיניהון תהוין לנשין ברם לזרעית שבטא דאבוהן תהוין לנשין:
lnshyn thhwyn dabwhn shbTa lzreyth brm lnshyn thhwyn beynyhwn ldthqyn lmymr tslpkhd lbnth yy pqyd dy pthgma dyn
This is the thing which Yahweh commands concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, ‘Let them be married to whom they think best, only they shall marry into the family of the tribe of their father.

ולא תסחר אחסנא לבני ישראל משבטא לשבטא ארי גבר באחסנת שבטא דאבהתוהי ידבקון בני ישראל:
yshral bny ydbqwn dabhthwhy shbTa bakhsnth gbr ary lshbTa mshbTa yshral lbny akhsna thskhr wla
So shall no inheritance of the children of Israel move from tribe to tribe; for the children of Israel shall all keep the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.

וכל ברתא ירתת אחסנא משבטיא דבני ישראל לחד מזרעית שבטא דאבוהא תהי לאנתו בדיל די ירתון בני ישראל גבר אחסנת אבהתוהי:
abhthwhy akhsnth gbr yshral bny yrthwn dy bdyl lanthw thhy dabwha shbTa mzreyth lkhd yshral dbny mshbTya akhsna yrthth brtha wkl
Every daughter who possesses an inheritance in any tribe of the children of Israel shall be wife to one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel may each possess the inheritance of his fathers.

ולא תסחר אחסנא משבטא לשבטא אוחרנא ארי גבר באחסנתיה ידבקון שבטיא דבני ישראל:
yshral dbny shbTya ydbqwn bakhsnthyh gbr ary awkhrna lshbTa mshbTa akhsna thskhr wla
So shall no inheritance move from one tribe to another tribe; for the tribes of the children of Israel shall each keep his own inheritance.’”

כמא די פקיד יי ית משה כן עבדו בנת צלפחד:
tslpkhd bnth ebdw kn mshh yth yy pqyd dy kma
The daughters of Zelophehad did as Yahweh commanded Moses:

והואה מחלה תרצה וחגלה ומלכה ונעה בנת צלפחד לבני אחי אבוהן לנשין:
lnshyn abwhn akhy lbny tslpkhd bnth wneh wmlkh wkhglh thrtsh mkhlh whwah
for Mahlah, Tirzah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, were married to their father’s brothers’ sons.

מזרעית בני מנשה בר יוסף הואה לנשין והות אחסנתהן על שבטא זרעית אבוהן:
abwhn zreyth shbTa el akhsnthhn whwth lnshyn hwah ywsp br mnshh bny mzreyth
They were married into the families of the sons of Manasseh the son of Joseph. Their inheritance remained in the tribe of the family of their father.

אלין פקודיא ודיניא די פקיד יי בידא דמשה לות בני ישראל במישריא דמואב על ירדנא דירחו:
dyrkhw yrdna el dmwab bmyshrya yshral bny lwth dmshh byda yy pqyd dy wdynya pqwdya alyn
These are the commandments and the ordinances which Yahweh commanded by Moses to the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.
