פקד ית בני ישראל ותימר להון ארי אתון עלין לארעא דכנען דא ארעא די תתפלג לכון באחסנא ארעא דכנען לתחומהא:
pqd yth bny yshral wthymr lhwn ary athwn elyn larea dknen da area dy ththplg lkwn bakhsna area dknen lthkhwmha
“Command the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When you come into the land of Canaan (this is the land that shall fall to you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan according to its borders),

ויהי לכון רוח דרומא ממדברא דצן על תחומי אדום ויהי לכון תחום דרומא מסיפי ימא דמלחא קדומא:
wyhy lkwn rwkh drwma mmdbra dtsn el thkhwmy adwm wyhy lkwn thkhwm drwma msypy yma dmlkha qdwma
then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the side of Edom, and your south border shall be from the end of the Salt Sea eastward.

ויסחר לכון תחומא מדרומא למסקנא דעקרבים ויעבר לצן ויהון מפקנוהי מדרומא לרקם גיאה ויפוק לחצר אדר ויעבר לעצמון:
wyskhr lkwn thkhwma mdrwma lmsqna deqrbym wyebr ltsn wyhwn mpqnwhy mdrwma lrqm gyah wypwq lkhtsr adr wyebr letsmwn
Your border shall turn about southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass along to Zin; and it shall pass southward of Kadesh Barnea; and it shall go from there to Hazar Addar, and pass along to Azmon.

ויסחר תחומא מעצמון לנחלא דמצרים ויהון מפקנוהי לימא:
wyskhr thkhwma metsmwn lnkhla dmtsrym wyhwn mpqnwhy lyma
The border shall turn about from Azmon to the brook of Egypt, and it shall end at the sea.

ותחום מערבא ויהי לכון ימא רבא ותחומיה דין יהי לכון תחום מערבא:
wthkhwm merba wyhy lkwn yma rba wthkhwmyh dyn yhy lkwn thkhwm merba
“‘For the western border, you shall have the great sea and its border. This shall be your west border.

ודין יהי לכון תחום צפונא מן ימא רבא תכונון לכון להר טורא:
wdyn yhy lkwn thkhwm tspwna mn yma rba thkwnwn lkwn lhr Twra
“‘This shall be your north border: from the great sea you shall mark out for yourselves Mount Hor.

מהור טורא תכונון למטי חמת ויהון מפקנוהי דתחומא לצדד:
mhwr Twra thkwnwn lmTy khmth wyhwn mpqnwhy dthkhwma ltsdd
From Mount Hor you shall mark out to the entrance of Hamath; and the border shall pass by Zedad.

ויפוק תחומא לזפרון ויהון מפקנוהי לחצר עינן דין יהי לכון תחום צפונא:
wypwq thkhwma lzprwn wyhwn mpqnwhy lkhtsr eynn dyn yhy lkwn thkhwm tspwna
Then the border shall go to Ziphron, and it shall end at Hazar Enan. This shall be your north border.

ותכונון לכון לתחום קדומא מחצר עינן לשפם:
wthkwnwn lkwn lthkhwm qdwma mkhtsr eynn lshpm
“‘You shall mark out your east border from Hazar Enan to Shepham.

ויחות תחומא משפם לרבלה ממדנח לעין ויחות תחומא וימטי על כיף ים גנסר קדומא:
wykhwth thkhwma mshpm lrblh mmdnkh leyn wykhwth thkhwma wymTy el kyp ym gnsr qdwma
The border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain. The border shall go down, and shall reach to the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward.

ויחות תחומא לירדנא ויהון מפקנוהי לימא דמלחא דא תהי לכון ארעא לתחומהא סחור סחור:
wykhwth thkhwma lyrdna wyhwn mpqnwhy lyma dmlkha da thhy lkwn area lthkhwmha skhwr skhwr
The border shall go down to the Jordan, and end at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land according to its borders around it.’”

ופקיד משה ית בני ישראל למימר דא ארעא די תתחסנון יתה בעדבא די פקיד יי למתן לתשעת שבטין ופלגות שבטא:
wpqyd mshh yth bny yshral lmymr da area dy ththkhsnwn ythh bedba dy pqyd yy lmthn lthsheth shbTyn wplgwth shbTa
Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, “This is the land which you shall inherit by lot, which Yahweh has commanded to give to the nine tribes, and to the half-tribe;

ארי קבילו שבטא דבני ראובן לבית אבהתהון ושבטא דבני גד לבית אבהתהון ופלגות שבטא דמנשה קבילו אחסנתהון:
ary qbylw shbTa dbny rawbn lbyth abhthhwn wshbTa dbny gd lbyth abhthhwn wplgwth shbTa dmnshh qbylw akhsnthhwn
for the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their fathers’ houses, the tribe of the children of Gad according to their fathers’ houses, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance.

תרין שבטין ופלגות שבטא קבילו אחסנתהון מעברא לירדנא דירחו קדומא מדינחא:
thryn shbTyn wplgwth shbTa qbylw akhsnthhwn mebra lyrdna dyrkhw qdwma mdynkha
The two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan at Jericho eastward, toward the sunrise.”

אלין שמהת גבריא די יחסנון לכון ית ארעא אלעזר כהנא ויהושע בר נון:
alyn shmhth gbrya dy ykhsnwn lkwn yth area alezr khna wyhwshe br nwn
“These are the names of the men who shall divide the land to you for inheritance: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.

ורבא חד רבא חד משבטא תסבון לאחסנא ית ארעא:
wrba khd rba khd mshbTa thsbwn lakhsna yth area
You shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land for inheritance.
19
ואלין שמהת גבריא לשבטא דיהודה כלב בר יפנה:
walyn shmhth gbrya lshbTa dyhwdh klb br ypnh
These are the names of the men: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
20
ולשבטא דבני שמעון שמואל בר עמיהוד:
wlshbTa dbny shmewn shmwal br emyhwd
Of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.
21
לשבטא דבנימן אלידד בר כסלון:
lshbTa dbnymn alydd br kslwn
Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.
22
ולשבטא דבני דן רבא בקי בר יגלי:
wlshbTa dbny dn rba bqy br ygly
Of the tribe of the children of Dan a prince, Bukki the son of Jogli.
23
לבני יוסף לשבטא דבני מנשה רבא חניאל בר אפד:
lbny ywsp lshbTa dbny mnshh rba khnyal br apd
Of the children of Joseph: of the tribe of the children of Manasseh a prince, Hanniel the son of Ephod.
24
ולשבטא דבני אפרים רבא קמואל בר שפטן:
wlshbTa dbny aprym rba qmwal br shpTn
Of the tribe of the children of Ephraim a prince, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.
25
ולשבטא דבני זבולן רבא אליצפן בר פרנך:
wlshbTa dbny zbwln rba alytspn br prnk
Of the tribe of the children of Zebulun a prince, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.

ולשבטא דבני יששכר רבא פלטיאל בר עזן:
wlshbTa dbny yshshkr rba plTyal br ezn
Of the tribe of the children of Issachar a prince, Paltiel the son of Azzan.
27
ולשבטא דבני אשר רבא אחיהוד בר שלמי:
wlshbTa dbny ashr rba akhyhwd br shlmy
Of the tribe of the children of Asher a prince, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.
28
ולשבטא דבני נפתלי רבא פדהאל בר עמיהוד:
wlshbTa dbny npthly rba pdhal br emyhwd
Of the tribe of the children of Naphtali a prince, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.”
29
אלין די פקיד יי לאחסנא ית בני ישראל בארעא דכנען:
alyn dy pqyd yy lakhsna yth bny yshral barea dknen
These are they whom Yahweh commanded to divide the inheritance to the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.
