פקד ית בני ישראל ותימר להון ארי אתון עלין לארעא דכנען דא ארעא די תתפלג לכון באחסנא ארעא דכנען לתחומהא:
lthkhwmha dknen area bakhsna lkwn ththplg dy area da dknen larea elyn athwn ary lhwn wthymr yshral bny yth pqd
“Command the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When you come into the land of Canaan (this is the land that shall fall to you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan according to its borders),

ויהי לכון רוח דרומא ממדברא דצן על תחומי אדום ויהי לכון תחום דרומא מסיפי ימא דמלחא קדומא:
qdwma dmlkha yma msypy drwma thkhwm lkwn wyhy adwm thkhwmy el dtsn mmdbra drwma rwkh lkwn wyhy
then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the side of Edom, and your south border shall be from the end of the Salt Sea eastward.

ויסחר לכון תחומא מדרומא למסקנא דעקרבים ויעבר לצן ויהון מפקנוהי מדרומא לרקם גיאה ויפוק לחצר אדר ויעבר לעצמון:
letsmwn wyebr adr lkhtsr wypwq gyah lrqm mdrwma mpqnwhy wyhwn ltsn wyebr deqrbym lmsqna mdrwma thkhwma lkwn wyskhr
Your border shall turn about southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass along to Zin; and it shall pass southward of Kadesh Barnea; and it shall go from there to Hazar Addar, and pass along to Azmon.

ויסחר תחומא מעצמון לנחלא דמצרים ויהון מפקנוהי לימא:
lyma mpqnwhy wyhwn dmtsrym lnkhla metsmwn thkhwma wyskhr
The border shall turn about from Azmon to the brook of Egypt, and it shall end at the sea.

ותחום מערבא ויהי לכון ימא רבא ותחומיה דין יהי לכון תחום מערבא:
merba thkhwm lkwn yhy dyn wthkhwmyh rba yma lkwn wyhy merba wthkhwm
“‘For the western border, you shall have the great sea and its border. This shall be your west border.

ודין יהי לכון תחום צפונא מן ימא רבא תכונון לכון להר טורא:
Twra lhr lkwn thkwnwn rba yma mn tspwna thkhwm lkwn yhy wdyn
“‘This shall be your north border: from the great sea you shall mark out for yourselves Mount Hor.

מהור טורא תכונון למטי חמת ויהון מפקנוהי דתחומא לצדד:
ltsdd dthkhwma mpqnwhy wyhwn khmth lmTy thkwnwn Twra mhwr
From Mount Hor you shall mark out to the entrance of Hamath; and the border shall pass by Zedad.

ויפוק תחומא לזפרון ויהון מפקנוהי לחצר עינן דין יהי לכון תחום צפונא:
tspwna thkhwm lkwn yhy dyn eynn lkhtsr mpqnwhy wyhwn lzprwn thkhwma wypwq
Then the border shall go to Ziphron, and it shall end at Hazar Enan. This shall be your north border.

ותכונון לכון לתחום קדומא מחצר עינן לשפם:
lshpm eynn mkhtsr qdwma lthkhwm lkwn wthkwnwn
“‘You shall mark out your east border from Hazar Enan to Shepham.

ויחות תחומא משפם לרבלה ממדנח לעין ויחות תחומא וימטי על כיף ים גנסר קדומא:
qdwma gnsr ym kyp el wymTy thkhwma wykhwth leyn mmdnkh lrblh mshpm thkhwma wykhwth
The border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain. The border shall go down, and shall reach to the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward.

ויחות תחומא לירדנא ויהון מפקנוהי לימא דמלחא דא תהי לכון ארעא לתחומהא סחור סחור:
skhwr skhwr lthkhwmha area lkwn thhy da dmlkha lyma mpqnwhy wyhwn lyrdna thkhwma wykhwth
The border shall go down to the Jordan, and end at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land according to its borders around it.’”

ופקיד משה ית בני ישראל למימר דא ארעא די תתחסנון יתה בעדבא די פקיד יי למתן לתשעת שבטין ופלגות שבטא:
shbTa wplgwth shbTyn lthsheth lmthn yy pqyd dy bedba ythh ththkhsnwn dy area da lmymr yshral bny yth mshh wpqyd
Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, “This is the land which you shall inherit by lot, which Yahweh has commanded to give to the nine tribes, and to the half-tribe;

ארי קבילו שבטא דבני ראובן לבית אבהתהון ושבטא דבני גד לבית אבהתהון ופלגות שבטא דמנשה קבילו אחסנתהון:
akhsnthhwn qbylw dmnshh shbTa wplgwth abhthhwn lbyth gd dbny wshbTa abhthhwn lbyth rawbn dbny shbTa qbylw ary
for the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their fathers’ houses, the tribe of the children of Gad according to their fathers’ houses, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance.

תרין שבטין ופלגות שבטא קבילו אחסנתהון מעברא לירדנא דירחו קדומא מדינחא:
mdynkha qdwma dyrkhw lyrdna mebra akhsnthhwn qbylw shbTa wplgwth shbTyn thryn
The two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan at Jericho eastward, toward the sunrise.”

אלין שמהת גבריא די יחסנון לכון ית ארעא אלעזר כהנא ויהושע בר נון:
nwn br wyhwshe khna alezr area yth lkwn ykhsnwn dy gbrya shmhth alyn
“These are the names of the men who shall divide the land to you for inheritance: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.

ורבא חד רבא חד משבטא תסבון לאחסנא ית ארעא:
area yth lakhsna thsbwn mshbTa khd rba khd wrba
You shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land for inheritance.
19
ואלין שמהת גבריא לשבטא דיהודה כלב בר יפנה:
ypnh br klb dyhwdh lshbTa gbrya shmhth walyn
These are the names of the men: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

ולשבטא דבני שמעון שמואל בר עמיהוד:
emyhwd br shmwal shmewn dbny wlshbTa
Of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.

לשבטא דבנימן אלידד בר כסלון:
kslwn br alydd dbnymn lshbTa
Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.

ולשבטא דבני דן רבא בקי בר יגלי:
ygly br bqy rba dn dbny wlshbTa
Of the tribe of the children of Dan a prince, Bukki the son of Jogli.

לבני יוסף לשבטא דבני מנשה רבא חניאל בר אפד:
apd br khnyal rba mnshh dbny lshbTa ywsp lbny
Of the children of Joseph: of the tribe of the children of Manasseh a prince, Hanniel the son of Ephod.

ולשבטא דבני אפרים רבא קמואל בר שפטן:
shpTn br qmwal rba aprym dbny wlshbTa
Of the tribe of the children of Ephraim a prince, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.

ולשבטא דבני זבולן רבא אליצפן בר פרנך:
prnk br alytspn rba zbwln dbny wlshbTa
Of the tribe of the children of Zebulun a prince, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.

ולשבטא דבני יששכר רבא פלטיאל בר עזן:
ezn br plTyal rba yshshkr dbny wlshbTa
Of the tribe of the children of Issachar a prince, Paltiel the son of Azzan.

ולשבטא דבני אשר רבא אחיהוד בר שלמי:
shlmy br akhyhwd rba ashr dbny wlshbTa
Of the tribe of the children of Asher a prince, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.

ולשבטא דבני נפתלי רבא פדהאל בר עמיהוד:
emyhwd br pdhal rba npthly dbny wlshbTa
Of the tribe of the children of Naphtali a prince, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.”
