These are the journeys of the children of Israel, when they went out of the land of Egypt by their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.

וכתב משה ית מפקניהון למטלניהון על מימרא דיי ואלין מטלניהון למפקניהון:

Moses wrote the starting points of their journeys by the commandment of Yahweh. These are their journeys according to their starting points.

ונטלו מרעמסס בירחא קדמאה בחמשא עשרא יומא לירחא קדמאה מבתר יומא דפסחא נפקו בני ישראל בריש גלי לעיני כל מצראי:

They traveled from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the next day after the Passover, the children of Israel went out with a high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians,

ומצראי מקברין ית די קטל יי בהון כל בוכרא ובטעותהון עבד יי דינין:

while the Egyptians were burying all their firstborn, whom Yahweh had struck among them. Yahweh also executed judgments on their gods.

The children of Israel traveled from Rameses, and encamped in Succoth.

ונטלו מסכת ושרו באתם די בסטר מדברא:
wnTlw mskth wshrw bathm dy bsTr mdbra
They traveled from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.

ונטלו מאתם ותב על פום חירתא די קדם בעל צפון ושרו קדם מגדל:
wnTlw mathm wthb el pwm khyrtha dy qdm bel tspwn wshrw qdm mgdl
They traveled from Etham, and turned back to Pihahiroth, which is before Baal Zephon, and they encamped before Migdol.

ונטלו מן פום חירתא ועברו בגו ימא למדברא ואזלו מהלך תלתא יומין במדברא דאתם ושרו במרה:
wnTlw mn pwm khyrtha webrw bgw yma lmdbra wazlw mhlk thltha ywmyn bmdbra dathm wshrw bmrh
They traveled from before Hahiroth, and crossed through the middle of the sea into the wilderness. They went three days’ journey in the wilderness of Etham, and encamped in Marah.

ונטלו ממרה ואתו לאילם ובאילם תרי עשר מבועין דמין ושבעין דקלין ושרו תמן:

They traveled from Marah, and came to Elim. In Elim, there were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees, and they encamped there.

They traveled from Elim, and encamped by the Red Sea.

They traveled from the Red Sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.

ונטלו ממדברא דסין ושרו בדפקה:
wnTlw mmdbra dsyn wshrw bdpqh
They traveled from the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.

ונטלו מדפקה ושרו באלוש:
wnTlw mdpqh wshrw balwsh
They traveled from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush.

ונטלו מאלוש ושרו ברפידם ולא הוה תמן מיא לעמא למשתי:

They traveled from Alush, and encamped in Rephidim, where there was no water for the people to drink.

They traveled from Rephidim, and encamped in the wilderness of Sinai.

They traveled from the wilderness of Sinai, and encamped in Kibroth Hattaavah.

They traveled from Kibroth Hattaavah, and encamped in Hazeroth.

They traveled from Kadesh, and encamped in Mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.

וסלק אהרן כהנא להור טורא על מימרא דיי ומית תמן בשנת ארבעין למפק בני ישראל מארעא דמצרים בירחא חמשאה בחד לירחא:

Aaron the priest went up into Mount Hor at the commandment of Yahweh and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month.

ואהרן בר מאה ועשרין ותלת שנין כד מית בהור טורא:

Aaron was one hundred twenty-three years old when he died in Mount Hor.

ושמע כנענאה מלכא דערד והוא יתב בדרומא בארעא דכנען במיתי בני ישראל:

The Canaanite king of Arad, who lived in the South in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.

They traveled from Mount Hor, and encamped in Zalmonah.

ונטלו מצלמונה ושרו בפונן:

They traveled from Zalmonah, and encamped in Punon.

ונטלו מפונן ושרו באבות:
wnTlw mpwnn wshrw babwth
They traveled from Punon, and encamped in Oboth.

ונטלו מאבות ושרו במגזת עבראי בתחום מואב:
wnTlw mabwth wshrw bmgzth ebray bthkhwm mwab
They traveled from Oboth, and encamped in Iye Abarim, in the border of Moab.

ונטלו ממגזתא ושרו בדיבון גד:
wnTlw mmgztha wshrw bdybwn gd
They traveled from Iyim, and encamped in Dibon Gad.

ונטלו מדיבון גד ושרו בעלמון דבלתימה:
wnTlw mdybwn gd wshrw belmwn dblthymh
They traveled from Dibon Gad, and encamped in Almon Diblathaim.

ונטלו מעלמון דבלתימה ושרו בטורי דעבראי דקדם נבו:
wnTlw melmwn dblthymh wshrw bTwry debray dqdm nbw
They traveled from Almon Diblathaim, and encamped in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.

ונטלו מטורי דעבראי ושרו במישריא דמואב על ירדנא דירחו:
wnTlw mTwry debray wshrw bmyshrya dmwab el yrdna dyrkhw
They traveled from the mountains of Abarim, and encamped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.

ושרו על ירדנא מבית ישימות עד מישר שטין במישריא דמואב:
wshrw el yrdna mbyth yshymwth ed myshr shTyn bmyshrya dmwab
They encamped by the Jordan, from Beth Jeshimoth even to Abel Shittim in the plains of Moab.

ומליל יי עם משה במישריא דמואב על ירדנא דירחו למימר:
wmlyl yy em mshh bmyshrya dmwab el yrdna dyrkhw lmymr
Yahweh spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,

מלל עם בני ישראל ותימר להון ארי אתון עברין ית ירדנא לארעא דכנען:
mll em bny yshral wthymr lhwn ary athwn ebryn yth yrdna larea dknen
Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, “When you pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,

ותתרכון ית כל יתבי ארעא מן קדמיכון ותבדון ית כל בית סגדתהון וית כל צלמי מתכתהון תבדון וית כל במתהון תשצון:
wththrkwn yth kl ythby area mn qdmykwn wthbdwn yth kl byth sgdthhwn wyth kl tslmy mthkthhwn thbdwn wyth kl bmthhwn thshtswn
then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, destroy all their stone idols, destroy all their molten images, and demolish all their high places.

ותתרכון ית יתבי ארעא ותיתבון בה ארי לכון יהבית ית ארעא למירת יתה:
wththrkwn yth ythby area wthythbwn bh ary lkwn yhbyth yth area lmyrth ythh
You shall take possession of the land, and dwell therein; for I have given the land to you to possess it.

ותחסנון ית ארעא בעדבא לזרעיתכון לסגיאי תסגון ית אחסנתהון ולזעירי תזעירון ית אחסנתהון לדיפוק ליה תמן עדבא די ליה יהי לשבטי אבהתכון תחסנון:

You shall inherit the land by lot according to your families; to the larger groups you shall give a larger inheritance, and to the smaller you shall give a smaller inheritance. Wherever the lot falls to any man, that shall be his. You shall inherit according to the tribes of your fathers.

ואם לא תתרכון ית יתבי ארעא מן קדמיכון ויהי די תשארון מנהון לסיען נטלן זין לקבליכון ולמשרין מקפנכון ויעיקון לכון על ארעא די אתון יתבין בה:
wam la ththrkwn yth ythby area mn qdmykwn wyhy dy thsharwn mnhwn lsyen nTln zyn lqblykwn wlmshryn mqpnkwn wyeyqwn lkwn el area dy athwn ythbyn bh
“But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then those you let remain of them will be like pricks in your eyes and thorns in your sides. They will harass you in the land in which you dwell.

ויהי כמא די חשבית למעבד להון אעבד לכון:
wyhy kma dy khshbyth lmebd lhwn aebd lkwn
It shall happen that as I thought to do to them, so I will do to you.”
