1
ואמר משה לבני ישראל ככל די פקיד יי ית משה:
mshh yth yy pqyd dy kkl yshral lbny mshh wamr
Moses spoke to the heads of the tribes of the children of Israel, saying, “This is the thing which Yahweh has commanded.

ומליל משה עם רישי שבטיא לבני ישראל למימר דין פתגמא די פקיד יי:
yy pqyd dy pthgma dyn lmymr yshral lbny shbTya ryshy em mshh wmlyl
When a man vows a vow to Yahweh, or swears an oath to bind his soul with a bond, he shall not break his word. He shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.

גבר ארי ידר נדר קדם יי או יקים קים למסר אסר על נפשיה לא יבטל פתגמיה ככל דיפוק מפומיה יעבד:
yebd mpwmyh dypwq kkl pthgmyh ybTl la npshyh el asr lmsr qym yqym aw yy qdm ndr ydr ary gbr
“Also, when a woman vows a vow to Yahweh and binds herself by a pledge, being in her father’s house, in her youth,

ואתתא ארי תדר נדר קדם יי ותסר איסר בבית אבוהא ברביותהא:
brbywthha abwha bbyth aysr wthsr yy qdm ndr thdr ary waththa
and her father hears her vow and her pledge with which she has bound her soul, and her father says nothing to her, then all her vows shall stand, and every pledge with which she has bound her soul shall stand.

וישמע אבוהא ית נדרה ואסרה די אסרת על נפשה וישתוק לה אבוהא ויקומון כל נדרהא וכל אסרי די אסרת על נפשה יקומון:
yqwmwn npshh el asrth dy asry wkl ndrha kl wyqwmwn abwha lh wyshthwq npshh el asrth dy wasrh ndrh yth abwha wyshme
But if her father forbids her in the day that he hears, none of her vows or of her pledges with which she has bound her soul, shall stand. Yahweh will forgive her, because her father has forbidden her.

ואם אעדי אבוהא יתה ביומא דשמע כל נדרהא ואסרהא די אסרת על נפשה לא יקומון ומן קדם יי ישתבק לה ארי אעדי אבוהא יתה:
ythh abwha aedy ary lh yshthbq yy qdm wmn yqwmwn la npshh el asrth dy wasrha ndrha kl dshme bywma ythh abwha aedy wam
“If she has a husband, while her vows are on her, or the rash utterance of her lips with which she has bound her soul,

ואם מהוה תהוי לגבר ונדרהא עלה או פרוש ספותהא די אסרת על נפשה:
npshh el asrth dy spwthha prwsh aw elh wndrha lgbr thhwy mhwh wam
and her husband hears it, and says nothing to her in the day that he hears it; then her vows shall stand, and her pledges with which she has bound her soul shall stand.

וישמע בעלה ביומא דשמע וישתוק לה ויקומון נדרהא ואסרהא די אסרת על נפשה יקומון:
yqwmwn npshh el asrth dy wasrha ndrha wyqwmwn lh wyshthwq dshme bywma belh wyshme
But if her husband forbids her in the day that he hears it, then he makes void her vow which is on her and the rash utterance of her lips, with which she has bound her soul. Yahweh will forgive her.

ואם ביומא דשמע בעלה אעדי יתה ובטל ית נדרהא די עלה וית פרוש ספותהא די אסרת על נפשה ומן קדם יי ישתביק לה:
lh yshthbyq yy qdm wmn npshh el asrth dy spwthha prwsh wyth elh dy ndrha yth wbTl ythh aedy belh dshme bywma wam
“But the vow of a widow, or of her who is divorced, everything with which she has bound her soul shall stand against her.

ונדר ארמלא ומתרכא כל די אסרת על נפשה יקום עלה:
elh yqwm npshh el asrth dy kl wmthrka armla wndr
“If she vowed in her husband’s house or bound her soul by a bond with an oath,

ואם בית בעלה נדרת או אסרת אסר על נפשה בקיום:
bqywm npshh el asr asrth aw ndrth belh byth wam
and her husband heard it, and held his peace at her and didn’t disallow her, then all her vows shall stand, and every pledge with which she bound her soul shall stand.

וישמע בעלה וישתוק לה לא אעדי יתהון ויקומון כל נדרהא וכל אסרי די אסרת על נפשה יקומון:
yqwmwn npshh el asrth dy asry wkl ndrha kl wyqwmwn ythhwn aedy la lh wyshthwq belh wyshme
But if her husband made them null and void in the day that he heard them, then whatever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand. Her husband has made them void. Yahweh will forgive her.

ואם בטלא יבטל יתהון בעלה ביומא די שמע כל אפקות ספותהא לנדרהא ולאסר נפשה לא יקומון בעלה בטלנון ומן קדם יי ישתביק לה:
lh yshthbyq yy qdm wmn bTlnwn belh yqwmwn la npshh wlasr lndrha spwthha apqwth kl shme dy bywma belh ythhwn ybTl bTla wam
Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void.

כל נדר וכל קיומת אסר לסגפא נפש בעלה יקימנון ובעלה יבטלנון:
ybTlnwn wbelh yqymnwn belh npsh lsgpa asr qywmth wkl ndr kl
But if her husband says nothing to her from day to day, then he establishes all her vows or all her pledges which are on her. He has established them, because he said nothing to her in the day that he heard them.

ואם משתק ישתוק לה בעלה מיום ליום ויקים ית כל נדרהא או ית כל אסרהא די עלה קים יתהון ארי שתק לה ביומא דשמע:
dshme bywma lh shthq ary ythhwn qym elh dy asrha kl yth aw ndrha kl yth wyqym lywm mywm belh lh yshthwq mshthq wam
But if he makes them null and void after he has heard them, then he shall bear her iniquity.”

ואם בטלא יבטל יתהון בתר דשמע ויקבל ית חובה:
khwbh yth wyqbl dshme bthr ythhwn ybTl bTla wam
These are the statutes which Yahweh commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between a father and his daughter, being in her youth, in her father’s house.
