ומליל יי עם משה ועם אהרן למימר:
lmymr ahrn wem mshh em yy wmlyl
Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

דא גזרת אוריתא די פקיד יי למימר מלל עם בני ישראל ויסבון לך תורתא סמוקתא שלמתא די לית בה מומא די לא סליק עלה נירא:
nyra elh slyq la dy mwma bh lyth dy shlmtha smwqtha thwrtha lk wysbwn yshral bny em mll lmymr yy pqyd dy awrytha gzrth da
“This is the statute of the law which Yahweh has commanded. Tell the children of Israel to bring you a red heifer without spot, in which is no defect, and which was never yoked.

ותתנון יתה לאלעזר כהנא ויפק יתה למברא למשריתא ויכוס יתה קדמוהי:
qdmwhy ythh wykws lmshrytha lmbra ythh wypq khna lalezr ythh wththnwn
You shall give her to Eleazar the priest, and he shall bring her outside of the camp, and one shall kill her before his face.

ויסב אלעזר כהנא מדמה באצבעיה וידי לקבל אפי משכן זמנא מדמה שבע זמנין:
zmnyn shbe mdmh zmna mshkn apy lqbl wydy batsbeyh mdmh khna alezr wysb
Eleazar the priest shall take some of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle her blood toward the front of the Tent of Meeting seven times.

ויוקד ית תורתא לעינוהי ית משכה וית בשרה וית דמה על אכלה יוקד:
ywqd aklh el dmh wyth bshrh wyth mshkh yth leynwhy thwrtha yth wywqd
One shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her meat, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn.

ויסב כהנא אעא דארזא ואזובא וצבע זהורי וירמי לגו יקידת תורתא:
thwrtha yqydth lgw wyrmy zhwry wtsbe wazwba darza aea khna wysb
The priest shall take cedar wood, hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the middle of the burning of the heifer.

ויצבע לבושוהי כהנא ויסחי בשריה במיא ובתר כן יעול למשריתא ויהי מסאב כהנא עד רמשא:
rmsha ed khna msab wyhy lmshrytha yewl kn wbthr bmya bshryh wyskhy khna lbwshwhy wytsbe
Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the evening.

ודמוקד יתה יצבע לבושוהי במיא ויסחי בשריה במיא ויהי מסאב עד רמשא:
rmsha ed msab wyhy bmya bshryh wyskhy bmya lbwshwhy ytsbe ythh wdmwqd
He who burns her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the evening.

ויכנוש גבר דכי ית קטמא דתורתא ויצנע למברא למשריתא באתר דכי ותהי לכנשתא דבני ישראל למטרא למי אדיותא חטאתא היא:
hya khTatha adywtha lmy lmTra yshral dbny lknshtha wthhy dky bathr lmshrytha lmbra wytsne dthwrtha qTma yth dky gbr wyknwsh
“A man who is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up outside of the camp in a clean place; and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for use in water for cleansing impurity. It is a sin offering.

ויצבע דכניש ית קטמא דתורתא ית לבושוהי ויהי מסאב עד רמשא ותהי לבני ישראל ולגיוריא דיתגירון ביניהון לקים עלם:
elm lqym bynyhwn dythgyrwn wlgywrya yshral lbny wthhy rmsha ed msab wyhy lbwshwhy yth dthwrtha qTma yth dknysh wytsbe
He who gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening. It shall be to the children of Israel, and to the stranger who lives as a foreigner among them, for a statute forever.

דיקרב במתא לכל נפשא דאנשא ויהי מסאב שבעא יומין:
ywmyn shbea msab wyhy dansha npsha lkl bmtha dyqrb
“He who touches the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.

הוא ידי עלוהי ביומא תליתאה וביומא שביעאה ידכי ואם לא ידי עלוהי ביומא תליתאה וביומא שביעאה לא ידכי:
ydky la shbyeah wbywma thlythah bywma elwhy ydy la wam ydky shbyeah wbywma thlythah bywma elwhy ydy hwa
He shall purify himself with water on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean; but if he doesn’t purify himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.

כל דיקרב במיתא בנפשא דאנשא די ימות ולא ידי עלוהי ית משכנא דיי סאב וישתצי אנשא ההוא מישראל ארי מי אדיותא לא אזדריקו עלוהי מסאב יהי עוד סאובתיה ביה:
byh sawbthyh ewd yhy msab elwhy azdryqw la adywtha my ary myshral hhwa ansha wyshthtsy sab dyy mshkna yth elwhy ydy wla ymwth dy dansha bnpsha bmytha dyqrb kl
Whoever touches a dead person, the body of a man who has died, and doesn’t purify himself, defiles Yahweh’s tabernacle; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel; because the water for impurity was not sprinkled on him, he shall be unclean. His uncleanness is yet on him.

דא אוריתא אנש ארי ימות במשכנא כל דעלל למשכנא וכל די במשכנא יהי מסאב שבעא יומין:
ywmyn shbea msab yhy bmshkna dy wkl lmshkna dell kl bmshkna ymwth ary ansh awrytha da
“This is the law when a man dies in a tent: everyone who comes into the tent, and everyone who is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.

וכל מן דחסף פתיח דלית מגופת שייע מקף עלוהי מסאב הוא:
hwa msab elwhy mqp shyye mgwpth dlyth pthykh dkhsp mn wkl
Every open vessel, which has no covering bound on it, is unclean.
16
וכל די יקרב על אפי חקלא בקטל חרבא או במתא או בגרמא דאנשא או בקברא יהי מסאב שבעא יומין:
ywmyn shbea msab yhy bqbra aw dansha bgrma aw bmtha aw khrba bqTl khqla apy el yqrb dy wkl
“Whoever in the open field touches one who is slain with a sword, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.

ויסבון לדמסאב מעפר יקדת חטאתא ויתנון עלוהי מי מבוע למן:
lmn mbwe my elwhy wythnwn khTatha yqdth mepr ldmsab wysbwn
“For the unclean, they shall take of the ashes of the burning of the sin offering; and running water shall be poured on them in a vessel.

ויסב אזובא ויטבול במיא גבר דכי וידי על משכנא ועל כל מניא ועל נפשתא די הוו תמן ועל דיקרב בגרמא או בקטילא או במיתא או בקברא:
bqbra aw bmytha aw bqTyla aw bgrma dyqrb wel thmn hww dy npshtha wel mnya kl wel mshkna el wydy dky gbr bmya wyTbwl azwba wysb
A clean person shall take hyssop, dip it in the water, and sprinkle it on the tent, on all the vessels, on the persons who were there, and on him who touched the bone, or the slain, or the dead, or the grave.

וידי דכיא על מסאבא ביומא תליתאה וביומא שביעאה וידכניה ביומא שביעאה ויצבע לבושוהי ויסחי במיא וידכי ברמשא:
brmsha wydky bmya wyskhy lbwshwhy wytsbe shbyeah bywma wydknyh shbyeah wbywma thlythah bywma msaba el dkya wydy
The clean person shall sprinkle on the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day. On the seventh day, he shall purify him. He shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at evening.
20
וגבר די יסתאב ולא ידי עלוהי וישתצי אנשא ההוא מגו קהלא ארי ית מקדשא דיי סאיב מי אדיותא לא אזדריקו עלוהי מסאב הוא:
hwa msab elwhy azdryqw la adywtha my sayb dyy mqdsha yth ary qhla mgw hhwa ansha wyshthtsy elwhy ydy wla ysthab dy wgbr
But the man who shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the assembly, because he has defiled the sanctuary of Yahweh. The water for impurity has not been sprinkled on him. He is unclean.
21
ותהי להון לקים עלם ודידי מי אדיותא יצבע לבושוהי ודיקרב במי אדיותא יהי מסאב עד רמשא:
rmsha ed msab yhy adywtha bmy wdyqrb lbwshwhy ytsbe adywtha my wdydy elm lqym lhwn wthhy
It shall be a perpetual statute to them. He who sprinkles the water for impurity shall wash his clothes, and he who touches the water for impurity shall be unclean until evening.
