ואתפלג קרח בר יצהר בר קהת בר לוי ודתן ואבירם בני אליאב ואון בר פלת בני ראובן:
rawbn bny plth br wawn alyab bny wabyrm wdthn lwy br qhth br ytshr br qrkh wathplg
Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, with Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took some men.

וקמו לאפי משה וגבריא מבני ישראל מאתן וחמשין רברבי כנשתא מערעי זמן אנשין דשמא:
dshma anshyn zmn merey knshtha rbrby wkhmshyn mathn yshral mbny wgbrya mshh lapy wqmw
They rose up before Moses, with some of the children of Israel, two hundred fifty princes of the congregation, called to the assembly, men of renown.

ואתכנשו על משה ועל אהרן ואמרו להון סגי לכון ארי כל כנשתא כלהון קדישין וביניהון שריא שכנתא דיי ומא דין אתון מתרברבין על קהלא דיי:
dyy qhla el mthrbrbyn athwn dyn wma dyy shkntha shrya wbynyhwn qdyshyn klhwn knshtha kl ary lkwn sgy lhwn wamrw ahrn wel mshh el wathknshw
They assembled themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said to them, “You take too much on yourself, since all the congregation are holy, everyone of them, and Yahweh is among them! Why do you lift yourselves up above Yahweh’s assembly?”

ומליל עם קרח ועם כל כנשתיה למימר בצפרא ויהודע יי ית דכשר ליה וית דקדיש ויקרב לקדמוהי וית די יתרעי ביה יקרב לשמושיה:
lshmwshyh yqrb byh ythrey dy wyth lqdmwhy wyqrb dqdysh wyth lyh dkshr yth yy wyhwde btspra lmymr knshthyh kl wem qrkh em wmlyl
He said to Korah and to all his company, “In the morning, Yahweh will show who are his, and who is holy, and will cause him to come near to him. Even him whom he shall choose, he will cause to come near to him.

דא עבידו סבו לכון מחתין קרח וכל כנשתיה:
knshthyh wkl qrkh mkhthyn lkwn sbw ebydw da
Do this: have Korah and all his company take censers,

והבו בהון אשתא ושויו עליהון קטורת בוסמין קדם יי מחר ויהי גברא דיתרעי יי הוא קדיש סגי לכון בני לוי:
lwy bny lkwn sgy qdysh hwa yy dythrey gbra wyhy mkhr yy qdm bwsmyn qTwrth elyhwn wshwyw ashtha bhwn whbw
put fire in them, and put incense on them before Yahweh tomorrow. It shall be that the man whom Yahweh chooses, he shall be holy. You have gone too far, you sons of Levi!”

ואמר משה לקרח שמעו כען בני לוי:
lwy bny ken shmew lqrkh mshh wamr
Moses said to Korah, “Hear now, you sons of Levi!

הזער לכון ארי אפרש אלהא דישראל יתכון מכנשתא דישראל לקרבא יתכון קדמוהי למפלח ית פלחן משכנא דיי ולמקם קדם כנשתא לשמשותהון:
lshmshwthhwn knshtha qdm wlmqm dyy mshkna plkhn yth lmplkh qdmwhy ythkwn lqrba dyshral mknshtha ythkwn dyshral alha aprsh ary lkwn hzer
Is it a small thing to you that the God of Israel has separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself, to do the service of Yahweh’s tabernacle, and to stand before the congregation to minister to them;

וקרב יתך וית כל אחיך בני לוי עמך וכען אתון בען אף כהנתא רבתא:
rbtha khntha ap ben athwn wken emk lwy bny akhyk kl wyth ythk wqrb
and that he has brought you near, and all your brothers the sons of Levi with you? Do you seek the priesthood also?

בכן את וכל כנשתך דאזדמנתון על יי ואהרן מה הוא ארי אתרעמתון עלוהי:
elwhy athremthwn ary hwa mh wahrn yy el dazdmnthwn knshthk wkl ath bkn
Therefore you and all your company have gathered together against Yahweh! What is Aaron that you complain against him?”

ושלח משה למקרי לדתן ולאבירם בני אליאב ואמרו לא נסק:
nsq la wamrw alyab bny wlabyrm ldthn lmqry mshh wshlkh
Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab; and they said, “We won’t come up!

הזער ארי אסקתנא מארעא עבדא חלב ודבש לקטלותנא במדברא ארי אתרברבת עלנא אף אתרברבא:
athrbrba ap elna athrbrbth ary bmdbra lqTlwthna wdbsh khlb ebda marea asqthna ary hzer
Is it a small thing that you have brought us up out of a land flowing with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, but you must also make yourself a prince over us?

ברם לא לארעא עבדא חלב ודבש אעלתנא ויהבתא לנא אחסנת חקלין וכרמין העיני גבריא האנון תשלח לעורא לא נסק:
nsq la lewra thshlkh hanwn gbrya heyny wkrmyn khqlyn akhsnth lna wyhbtha aelthna wdbsh khlb ebda larea la brm
Moreover you haven’t brought us into a land flowing with milk and honey, nor given us inheritance of fields and vineyards. Will you put out the eyes of these men? We won’t come up.”

ותקף למשה לחדא ואמר קדם יי לא תקבל ברעוא קרבנהון לא חמרא דחד מנהון שחרית ולא אבאשית ית חד מנהון:
mnhwn khd yth abashyth wla shkhryth mnhwn dkhd khmra la qrbnhwn brewa thqbl la yy qdm wamr lkhda lmshh wthqp
Moses was very angry, and said to Yahweh, “Don’t respect their offering. I have not taken one donkey from them, neither have I hurt one of them.”

ואמר משה לקרח את וכל כנשתך הוו זמינין לקדם יי את ואנון ואהרן מחר:
mkhr wahrn wanwn ath yy lqdm zmynyn hww knshthk wkl ath lqrkh mshh wamr
Moses said to Korah, “You and all your company go before Yahweh, you, and they, and Aaron, tomorrow.

וסבו גבר מחתיתיה ותשוון עליהון קטרת בוסמין ותקרבון קדם יי גבר מחתיתיה מאתן וחמשין מחתין ואת ואהרן גבר מחתיתיה:
mkhthythyh gbr wahrn wath mkhthyn wkhmshyn mathn mkhthythyh gbr yy qdm wthqrbwn bwsmyn qTrth elyhwn wthshwwn mkhthythyh gbr wsbw
Each man take his censer and put incense on it, and each man bring before Yahweh his censer, two hundred fifty censers; you also, and Aaron, each with his censer.”

ונסיבו גבר מחתיתיה ויהבו עליהון אשתא ושויאו עליהון קטרת בוסמין וקמו בתרע משכן זמנא ומשה ואהרן:
wahrn wmshh zmna mshkn bthre wqmw bwsmyn qTrth elyhwn wshwyaw ashtha elyhwn wyhbw mkhthythyh gbr wnsybw
They each took his censer, and put fire in it, and laid incense on it, and stood at the door of the Tent of Meeting with Moses and Aaron.

ואכנש עליהון קרח ית כל כנשתא לתרע משכן זמנא ואתגלי יקרא דיי לכל כנשתא:
knshtha lkl dyy yqra wathgly zmna mshkn lthre knshtha kl yth qrkh elyhwn waknsh
Korah assembled all the congregation opposite them to the door of the Tent of Meeting. Yahweh’s glory appeared to all the congregation.

ומליל יי עם משה ועם אהרן למימר:
lmymr ahrn wem mshh em yy wmlyl
Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

אתפרשו מגו כנשתא הדא ואשצי יתהון כשעה:
ksheh ythhwn washtsy hda knshtha mgw athprshw
“Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment!”
22
ונפלו על אפיהון ואמרו אל אלהא רוחיא לכל בשרא גברא חד יחוב ועל כל כנשתא יהי רוגזא:
rwgza yhy knshtha kl wel ykhwb khd gbra bshra lkl rwkhya alha al wamrw apyhwn el wnplw
They fell on their faces, and said, “God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and will you be angry with all the congregation?”
24
מלל עם כנשתא למימר אסתלקו מסחור סחור למשכנא דקרח דתן ואבירם:
wabyrm dthn dqrkh lmshkna skhwr mskhwr asthlqw lmymr knshtha em mll
“Speak to the congregation, saying, ‘Get away from around the tent of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram!’”

וקם משה ואזל לות דתן ואבירם ואזלו בתרוהי סבי ישראל:
yshral sby bthrwhy wazlw wabyrm dthn lwth wazl mshh wqm
Moses rose up and went to Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.

ומליל עם כנשתא למימר זורו כען מעלוי משכני גבריא חיביא האלין ולא תקרבון בכל די להון דלמא תלקון בכל חוביהון:
khwbyhwn bkl thlqwn dlma lhwn dy bkl thqrbwn wla halyn khybya gbrya mshkny melwy ken zwrw lmymr knshtha em wmlyl
He spoke to the congregation, saying, “Depart, please, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest you be consumed in all their sins!”
27
ואסתלקו מעלוי משכנא דקרח דתן ואבירם מסחור סחור ודתן ואבירם נפקו קימין בתרע משכניהון ונשיהון ובניהון וטפלהון:
wTplhwn wbnyhwn wnshyhwn mshknyhwn bthre qymyn npqw wabyrm wdthn skhwr mskhwr wabyrm dthn dqrkh mshkna melwy wasthlqw
So they went away from the tent of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side. Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood at the door of their tents with their wives, their sons, and their little ones.
28
ואמר משה בדא תדעון ארי יי שלחני למעבד ית כל עובדיא האלין ארי לא מרעותי:
mrewthy la ary halyn ewbdya kl yth lmebd shlkhny yy ary thdewn bda mshh wamr
Moses said, “Hereby you shall know that Yahweh has sent me to do all these works; for they are not from my own mind.

אם כמותא דכל אנשא ימותון אלין וסערא דכל אנשא יסתער עליהון לא יי שלחני:
shlkhny yy la elyhwn ysther ansha dkl wsera alyn ymwthwn ansha dkl kmwtha am
If these men die the common death of all men, or if they experience what all men experience, then Yahweh hasn’t sent me.
30
ואם בריאה יברי יי ופתחת ארעא ית פומה ובלעת יתהון וית כל די להון ויחתון כד חיין לשאול ותדעון ארי ארגיזו גבריא האלין קדם יי:
yy qdm halyn gbrya argyzw ary wthdewn lshawl khyyn kd wykhthwn lhwn dy kl wyth ythhwn wbleth pwmh yth area wpthkhth yy ybry bryah wam
But if Yahweh makes a new thing, and the ground opens its mouth, and swallows them up with all that belong to them, and they go down alive into Sheol, then you shall understand that these men have despised Yahweh.”
31
והוה כד שצי למללא ית כל פתגמיא האלין ואתבזעת ארעא די תחותיהון:
thkhwthyhwn dy area wathbzeth halyn pthgmya kl yth lmlla shtsy kd whwh
As he finished speaking all these words, the ground that was under them split apart.
32
ופתחת ארעא ית פומה ובלעת יתהון וית אנש בתיהון וית כל אנשא די לקרח וית כל קנינא:
qnyna kl wyth lqrkh dy ansha kl wyth bthyhwn ansh wyth ythhwn wbleth pwmh yth area wpthkhth
The earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up with their households, all of Korah’s men, and all their goods.
33
ונחתו אנון וכל די להון כד חיין לשאול וחפת עליהון ארעא ואבדו מגו קהלא:
qhla mgw wabdw area elyhwn wkhpth lshawl khyyn kd lhwn dy wkl anwn wnkhthw
So they, and all that belonged to them went down alive into Sheol. The earth closed on them, and they perished from among the assembly.
34
וכל ישראל די בסחרניהון ערקו לקלהון ארי אמרו דלמא תבלעננא ארעא:
area thblenna dlma amrw ary lqlhwn erqw bskhrnyhwn dy yshral wkl
All Israel that were around them fled at their cry; for they said, “Lest the earth swallow us up!”
