ומללת מרים ואהרן במשה על עסק אתתא שפרתא די נסיב ארי אתתא שפרתא דנסיב רחיק:
rkhyq dnsyb shprtha aththa ary nsyb dy shprtha aththa esq el bmshh wahrn mrym wmllth
Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Cushite woman whom he had married; for he had married a Cushite woman.

ואמרו הלחוד ברם במשה מליל יי הלא אף עמנא מליל ושמיע קדם יי:
yy qdm wshmye mlyl emna ap hla yy mlyl bmshh brm hlkhwd wamrw
They said, “Has Yahweh indeed spoken only with Moses? Hasn’t he spoken also with us?” And Yahweh heard it.

וגברא משה ענותן לחדא מכל אנשא די על אפי ארעא:
area apy el dy ansha mkl lkhda enwthn mshh wgbra
Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all the men who were on the surface of the earth.

ואמר יי בתכף למשה ולאהרן ולמרים פוקו תלתיכון למשכן זמנא ונפקו תלתיהון:
thlthyhwn wnpqw zmna lmshkn thlthykwn pwqw wlmrym wlahrn lmshh bthkp yy wamr
Yahweh spoke suddenly to Moses, to Aaron, and to Miriam, “You three come out to the Tent of Meeting!” The three of them came out.

ואתגלי יי בעמודא דעננא וקם בתרע משכנא וקרא אהרן ומרים ונפקו תרויהון:
thrwyhwn wnpqw wmrym ahrn wqra mshkna bthre wqm denna bemwda yy wathgly
Yahweh came down in a pillar of cloud, and stood at the door of the Tent, and called Aaron and Miriam; and they both came forward.

ואמר שמעו כען פתגמי אם יהון לכון נביאין אנא יי בחזין אנא מתגלי להון בחלמין אנא ממלל עמהון:
emhwn mmll ana bkhlmyn lhwn mthgly ana bkhzyn yy ana nbyayn lkwn yhwn am pthgmy ken shmew wamr
He said, “Now hear my words. If there is a prophet among you, I, Yahweh, will make myself known to him in a vision. I will speak with him in a dream.

לא כן עבדי משה בכל ביתי מהימן הוא:
hwa mhymn bythy bkl mshh ebdy kn la
My servant Moses is not so. He is faithful in all my house.

ממלל עם ממלל מללנא עמיה בחזו ולא בחדון ודמות יקרא דיי מסתכל ומא דין לא דחלתון למללא בעבדי במשה:
bmshh bebdy lmlla dkhlthwn la dyn wma msthkl dyy yqra wdmwth bkhdwn wla bkhzw emyh mllna mmll em mmll
With him, I will speak mouth to mouth, even plainly, and not in riddles; and he shall see Yahweh’s form. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant, against Moses?”

ותקיף רגזא דיי בהון ואסתלק:
wasthlq bhwn dyy rgza wthqyp
Yahweh’s anger burned against them; and he departed.

ועננא אסתלק מעלוי משכנא והא מרים חורא כתלגא ואתפני אהרן לות מרים והא סגירת:
sgyrth wha mrym lwth ahrn wathpny kthlga khwra mrym wha mshkna melwy asthlq wenna
The cloud departed from over the Tent; and behold, Miriam was leprous, as white as snow. Aaron looked at Miriam, and behold, she was leprous.

ואמר אהרן למשה בבעו רבוני לא כען תשוי עלנא חובא דאטפשנא ודי סרחנא:
srkhna wdy daTpshna khwba elna thshwy ken la rbwny bbew lmshh ahrn wamr
Aaron said to Moses, “Oh, my lord, please don’t count this sin against us, in which we have done foolishly, and in which we have sinned.

לא כען תתרחק דא מביננא ארי אחתנא היא צלי כען על בסרא מיתא הדין די בה ויתסי:
wythsy bh dy hdyn mytha bsra el ken tsly hya akhthna ary mbynna da ththrkhq ken la
Let her not, I pray, be as one dead, of whom the flesh is half consumed when he comes out of his mother’s womb.”

וצלי משה קדם יי למימר אלהא בבעו אסי כען יתה:
ythh ken asy bbew alha lmymr yy qdm mshh wtsly
Moses cried to Yahweh, saying, “Heal her, God, I beg you!”

ואמר יי למשה ואלו אבוהה מנזף נזיף בה הלא תתכלם שבעא יומין תסתגר שבעא יומין מברא למשריתא ובתר כן תתכנש:
ththknsh kn wbthr lmshrytha mbra ywmyn shbea thsthgr ywmyn shbea ththklm hla bh nzyp mnzp abwhh walw lmshh yy wamr
Yahweh said to Moses, “If her father had but spit in her face, shouldn’t she be ashamed seven days? Let her be shut up outside of the camp seven days, and after that she shall be brought in again.”

ואסתגרת מרים מברא למשריתא שבעא יומין ועמא לא נטל עד דאתכנשת מרים:
mrym dathknshth ed nTl la wema ywmyn shbea lmshrytha mbra mrym wasthgrth
Miriam was shut up outside of the camp seven days, and the people didn’t travel until Miriam was brought in again.
