אמר נביא וי לי ארי הויתי כמיסף טביא בעדן דאבדו חסידיא מן ארעא הא כסיופי קיטא כעוללן בתר קטוף לית גבר דביה עובדין טבין לטביא חמדת נפשי:
npshy khmdth lTbya Tbyn ewbdyn dbyh gbr lyth qTwp bthr kewlln qyTa ksywpy ha area mn khsydya dabdw bedn Tbya kmysp hwythy ary ly wy nbya amr
Misery is mine! Indeed, I am like one who gathers the summer fruits, as gleanings of the vineyard. There is no cluster of grapes to eat. My soul desires to eat the early fig.

אבדו חסידיא מן ארעא ודקשיט באנשא לית כולהון למשפך דם זכאי כמנין גבר ית אחוהי מסרין לגמירא:
lgmyra msryn akhwhy yth gbr kmnyn zkay dm lmshpk kwlhwn lyth bansha wdqshyT area mn khsydya abdw
The godly man has perished out of the earth, and there is no one upright among men. They all lie in wait for blood; every man hunts his brother with a net.

מבאשין בידיהון ולא מוטיבין שלטונא שאיל ודינא אמר עביד לי דאשלם לך ורבא ממליל תחמודי נפשיה וי עליהון על דקלקלותא:
dqlqlwtha el elyhwn wy npshyh thkhmwdy mmlyl wrba lk dashlm ly ebyd amr wdyna shayl shlTwna mwTybyn wla bydyhwn mbashyn
Their hands are on that which is evil to do it diligently. The ruler and judge ask for a bribe. The powerful man dictates the evil desire of his soul. Thus they conspire together.

טבא דבהון קשי למפק מן ידיה כד מן חדקא ודקשיט בהון מסיוגת סיג ביש יום סבורך לטב עדן סעורת בישתך מטת כען יהי ערבו להון:
lhwn erbw yhy ken mTth byshthk sewrth edn lTb sbwrk ywm bysh syg msywgth bhwn wdqshyT khdqa mn kd ydyh mn lmpq qshy dbhwn Tba
The best of them is like a brier. The most upright is worse than a thorn hedge. The day of your watchmen, even your visitation, has come; now is the time of their confusion.

לא תהימנון ברחים ולא תתרחצון בקריב מאתת קימך טר מלי פומך:
pwmk mly Tr qymk mathth bqryb ththrkhtswn wla brkhym thhymnwn la
Don’t trust in a neighbor. Don’t put confidence in a friend. With the woman lying in your embrace, be careful of the words of your mouth!

ארי ברא מנבל אבא ברתא מנציא עם אמה כלתא מקילא בחמתה סנאוהי דגברא אנשי ביתיה:
bythyh anshy dgbra snawhy bkhmthh mqyla kltha amh em mntsya brtha aba mnbl bra ary
For the son dishonors the father, the daughter rises up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.

ואנא במימרא דיי אבוע אדוץ לאלהא עביד פורקני יקביל צלותי אלהי:
alhy tslwthy yqbyl pwrqny ebyd lalha adwts abwe dyy bmymra wana
But as for me, I will look to Yahweh. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.

לא תחדון בעיל דבבותי לי דנפלית אקום ארי יתיבית כדבקבלא יי ינהר עלי:
ely ynhr yy kdbqbla ythybyth ary aqwm dnplyth ly dbbwthy beyl thkhdwn la
Don’t rejoice against me, my enemy. When I fall, I will arise. When I sit in darkness, Yahweh will be a light to me.

אמרית ירושלם לוט מן קדם יי קבלית ארי חבית קדמוהי עד דידין דיני ויתפרע עולבני יפקינני לנהור אחזי בזכותיה:
bzkwthyh akhzy lnhwr ypqynny ewlbny wythpre dyny dydyn ed qdmwhy khbyth ary qblyth yy qdm mn lwT yrwshlm amryth
I will bear the indignation of Yahweh, because I have sinned against him, until he pleads my case and executes judgment for me. He will bring me out to the light. I will see his righteousness.

ותחזי בעיל דבבותי ותחפינה בהתא דהות אמרה לי אן דאתפריקתא במימרא דיי אלהך עיני יחזין במפלתהון כען תהי לדיש כטין שוקין:
shwqyn kTyn ldysh thhy ken bmplthhwn ykhzyn eyny alhk dyy bmymra dathpryqtha an ly amrh dhwth bhtha wthkhpynh dbbwthy beyl wthkhzy
Then my enemy will see it, and shame will cover her who said to me, “Where is Yahweh your God?” My eyes will see her. Now she will be trodden down like the mire of the streets.

בעדנא ההיא יתבנין כנשתא דישראל בעדנא ההיא יתבטלן גזירת עממיא:
emmya gzyrth ythbTln hhya bedna dyshral knshtha ythbnyn hhya bedna
A day to build your walls! In that day, he will extend your boundary.

בעדנא ההיא יתכנשון גלותא דמן אתור וקרוי תוקפא ודמן חורמיני רבתא וקרוי צירא ועד פרת וימא מערבא וטורי טורא:
Twra wTwry merba wyma prth wed tsyra wqrwy rbtha khwrmyny wdmn thwqpa wqrwy athwr dmn glwtha ythknshwn hhya bedna
In that day they will come to you from Assyria and the cities of Egypt, and from Egypt even to the River, and from sea to sea, and mountain to mountain.

ותהי ארעא לצדו על יתבהא מפרי עובדיהון:
ewbdyhwn mpry ythbha el ltsdw area wthhy
Yet the land will be desolate because of those who dwell therein, for the fruit of their doings.

פרנס עמך במימרך עמא דאחסנתך בעלמא דהוא עתיד לאיתחדתא ישרון בלחודיהון דהוו צדין כחורשא יתיתבון ככרמלא ויתפרנסון בארעא מתנן וגלעד כיומי עלמין:
elmyn kywmy wgled mthnn barea wythprnswn kkrmla ythythbwn kkhwrsha tsdyn dhww blkhwdyhwn yshrwn laythkhdtha ethyd dhwa belma dakhsnthk ema bmymrk emk prns
Shepherd your people with your staff, the flock of your heritage, who dwell by themselves in a forest. Let them feed in the middle of fertile pasture land, in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.

כיומי מפקהון מארעא דמצרים אחזינון פרישן:
pryshn akhzynwn dmtsrym marea mpqhwn kywmy
“As in the days of your coming out of the land of Egypt, I will show them marvelous things.”
16
יחזון עממיא ויבהתון מכל גבורתהון ישוון ידיהון על פומהון ואודניהון יתחרשן:
ythkhrshn wawdnyhwn pwmhwn el ydyhwn yshwwn gbwrthhwn mkl wybhthwn emmya ykhzwn
The nations will see and be ashamed of all their might. They will lay their hand on their mouth. Their ears will be deaf.

ישתטחון על אפיהון על ארעא כחויא כזחלי עפרא יזועון מברניתיהון מן קדם יי אלהנא יתברון וידחלון מן קדמך:
qdmk mn wydkhlwn ythbrwn alhna yy qdm mn mbrnythyhwn yzwewn epra kzkhly kkhwya area el apyhwn el yshthTkhwn
They will lick the dust like a serpent. Like crawling things of the earth, they will come trembling out of their dens. They will come with fear to Yahweh our God, and will be afraid because of you.

לית בר מנך את הוא אלהא שביק לעוין ומעבר על חובין לשארא דאחסנתיה לא מוריך לעלמין רוגזיה ארי רעי לאיטבא הוא:
hwa layTba rey ary rwgzyh lelmyn mwryk la dakhsnthyh lshara khwbyn el wmebr lewyn shbyq alha hwa ath mnk br lyth
Who is a God like you, who pardons iniquity, and passes over the disobedience of the remnant of his heritage? He doesn’t retain his anger forever, because he delights in loving kindness.

יתוב מימרי לרחמא עלנא ויכבוש על חובנא ברחמתיה וירמי לעומקי ימא כל חטאי ישראל:
yshral khTay kl yma lewmqy wyrmy brkhmthyh khwbna el wykbwsh elna lrkhma mymry ythwb
He will again have compassion on us. He will tread our iniquities under foot. You will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

תתיהיב קושטיה דיעקב לבנוהי כמא דקימתא ליה בבית אל טבות אברהם לזרעיה בתרוהי כמא דקימתא ליה בין בתריא תדכר לנא עקידת יצחק דאתעקד על גבי מדבחא קדמך תעביד עמנא טבון דקימתא לאבהתנא מיומי קדם:
qdm mywmy labhthna dqymtha Tbwn emna thebyd qdmk mdbkha gby el datheqd ytskhq eqydth lna thdkr bthrya byn lyh dqymtha kma bthrwhy lzreyh abrhm Tbwth al bbyth lyh dqymtha kma lbnwhy dyeqb qwshTyh ththyhyb
You will give truth to Jacob, and mercy to Abraham, as you have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.
