ܘܝ ܠܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܡܬܚܫܒܝܢ ܥܬܐ ܘܥܒܕܝܢ ܒܝܫܬܐ ܥܠ ܡܫܟܒܗܘܢ ܘܡܩܕܡܝܢ ܒܨܦܪܐ ܘܥܒܕܝܢ ܡܕܡ ܕܐܬܚܫܒܘ ܘܫܩܠܝܢ ܐ̈ܝܕܝܗܘܢ ܠܘܬ ܐܠܗܐ
'lh' lwth 'ydyhwn wshqlyn d'thkhshbw mdm webdyn btspr' wmqdmyn mshkbhwn el byshth' webdyn eth' dmthkhshbyn l'ylyn wy
Woe to those who devise iniquity and work evil on their beds! When the morning is light, they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand.

ܘܪܓܝܢ ܚ̈ܩܠܬܐ ܘܒܬ̈ܐ ܘܢܣܒܝܢ ܠܗܘܢ ܒܩܛܝܪܐ ܘܛܠܡܝܢ ܠܓܒܪܐ ܒܩܢܝܢܗ ܘܒܝܪܬܘܬܗ
wbyrthwthh bqnynh lgbr' wTlmyn bqTyr' lhwn wnsbyn wbth' khqlth' wrgyn
They covet fields and seize them, and houses, then take them away. They oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.

ܡܛܠ ܗܠܝܢ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܐ ܗܐ ܡܬܚܫܒ ܐܢܐ ܒܝܫܬܐ ܥܠ ܫܪܒܬܐ ܗܕܐ ܕܠܐ ܬܪܝܡܘܢ ܡܢܗ̇ ܨܘܪܟܘܢ ܘܠܐ ܬܗܠܟܘܢ ܒܩܘܡܬܐ ܦܫܝܛܬܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܙܒܢܐ ܗܘ ܕܒܝܫܬܐ

Therefore Yahweh says: “Behold, I am planning against these people a disaster, from which you will not remove your necks, neither will you walk haughtily, for it is an evil time.

ܒܗ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܗ̇ܘ ܢܫܩܘܠ ܥܠܝܟܘܢ ܡܬܠܐ ܘܒܩܝܢܬܐ ܢܐܠܐ ܐܘܠܝܬܐ ܘܢܐܡܪ ܒܙܘܙܐ ܢܒܙܢ ܘܦܠܓܘܬܗ ܕܥܡܝ ܒܫܘܝܬܐ ܢܦܠܓ ܘܠܝܬ ܕܡܗܦܟ ܚ̈ܩܠܬܢ ܒܫܘܝܬܐ
bshwyth' khqlthn dmhpk wlyth nplg bshwyth' demy wplgwthh nbzn bzwz' wn'mr 'wlyth' n'l' wbqynth' mthl' elykwn nshqwl hw bywm' bh
In that day they will take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, saying, ‘We are utterly ruined! My people’s possession is divided up. Indeed he takes it from me and assigns our fields to traitors!’”

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܠܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܠܟ ܕܡܫܚ ܒܫܘܝܬܐ ܘܡܦܠܓ ܒ̈ܦܨܐ ܒܟܢܘܫܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ

Therefore you will have no one who divides the land by lot in Yahweh’s assembly.

ܠܐ ܬܕܡܥܘܢ ܕܡ̈ܥܐ ܘܠܐ ܬܕܡܥܘܢ ܥܠ ܗܠܝܢ ܕܠܐ ܢܕܪܟܟܘܢ ܚܣܕܐ
khsd' ndrkkwn dl' hlyn el thdmewn wl' dme' thdmewn l'
“Don’t prophesy!”—they prophesy— “Don’t prophesy about these things. Disgrace won’t overtake us.”

ܕܐܡܝܪ ܥܠ ܒܝܬܗ ܕܝܥܩܘܒ ܕܐܪܓܙ ܪܘܚܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܒܗܠܝܢ ܨ̈ܢܥܬܗ ܗܐ ܡ̈ܠܝ ܡܛܐ̈ܒܢ ܥܡ ܬܪ̈ܝܨܐ ܕܐܙܠ

Shall it be said, O house of Jacob, “Is Yahweh’s Spirit angry? Are these his doings? Don’t my words do good to him who walks blamelessly?”

ܘܐܬܡܠܝ ܥܡܝ ܐܝܟ ܓܢܒܐ ܩܐܡ ܗܘܐ ܠܘܩܒܠ ܫܠܡܗ ܡܫܟܗ ܬܫܛܘܢ ܕܬܥܒܪܘܢ ܣܒܪܗ ܘܬܗܦܟܘܢ ܩܪܒܐ
qrb' wthhpkwn sbrh dthebrwn thshTwn mshkh shlmh lwqbl hw' q'm gnb' 'yk emy w'thmly
But lately my people have risen up as an enemy. You strip the robe and clothing from those who pass by without a care, returning from battle.

ܢܫ̈ܐ ܕܥܡܝ ܬܫܕܘܢ ܡܢ ܒܝܬ ܦܘܢܩܝ̈ܗܝܢ ܘܡܢ ܝ̈ܠܘܕܝܗܝܢ ܬܣܒܘܢ ܫܘܒܚܐ ܠܥܠܡ
lelm shwbkh' thsbwn ylwdyhyn wmn pwnqyhyn byth mn thshdwn demy nsh'
You drive the women of my people out from their pleasant houses; from their young children you take away my blessing forever.

ܩܘܡܘ ܙܠܘ ܡܛܠ ܕܠܐ ܗܘܬ ܗܕܐ ܢܝܚܬܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܛܢܦܘܬܐ ܬܚܒܠ ܚܒܠܐ ܘܚܒܠܗ̇ ܢܥܫܢ
neshn wkhblh khbl' thkhbl dTnpwth' mTl nykhth' hd' hwth dl' mTl zlw qwmw
Arise, and depart! For this is not your resting place, because of uncleanness that destroys, even with a grievous destruction.

ܓܒܪܐ ܕܡܗܠܟ ܒܪܘܚܐ ܕܓܠܐܝܬ ܘܟܕܒܐܝܬ ܐܛܦ ܠܟ ܚܡܪܐ ܘܪܘܝܘܬܐ ܘܬܗܘܐ ܡܢ ܡܛܘܦܝܬܗ ܕܥܡܐ ܗܢܐ
hn' dem' mTwpythh mn wthhw' wrwywth' khmr' lk 'Tp wkdb'yth dgl'yth brwkh' dmhlk gbr'
If a man walking in a spirit of falsehood lies, saying, “I will prophesy to you of wine and of strong drink,” he would be the prophet of this people.

ܡܟܢܫܘ ܐܟܢܫܟ ܠܟܠܟ ܝܥܩܘܒ ܘܡܩܪܒܘ ܐܩܪܒܟ ܫܪܟܗ ܕܐܝܣܪܐܝܠ ܐܟܚܕܐ ܘܐܥܒܕܝܘܗܝ ܐܝܟ ܥܢܐ ܒܐܘܠܨܢܐ ܘܐܝܟ ܓܙܪܐ ܒܓܘ ܪܒܥܗ ܕܡܓܢܝ ܡܢ ܐܢܫܐ
'nsh' mn dmgny rbeh bgw gzr' w'yk b'wltsn' en' 'yk w'ebdywhy 'kkhd' d'ysr'yl shrkh 'qrbk wmqrbw yeqwb lklk 'knshk mknshw
I will surely assemble all of you, Jacob. I will surely gather the remnant of Israel. I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as a flock in the middle of their pasture. They will swarm with people.

ܣܠܩ ܬܪܘܥܐ ܩܕܡܝܗܘܢ ܬܪܥ ܬܘܪܥܬܐ ܘܥܒܪܘ ܘܢܦܩܘ ܒܗ̇ ܘܥܒܪ ܡܠܟܗܘܢ ܩܕܡܝܗܘܢ ܘܡܪܝܐ ܒܪܝܫܗܘܢ

He who breaks open the way goes up before them. They break through the gate, and go out. Their king passes on before them, with Yahweh at their head.
