ܒܪܡܫܐ ܕܝܢ ܒܫܒܬܐ ܕܢܓܗ ܚܕ ܒܫܒܐ ܐܬܬ ܡܪܝܡ ܡܓܕܠܝܬܐ ܘܡܪܝܡ ܐܚܪܬܐ ܕܢܚܙܝܢ ܩܒܪܐ

Now after the Sabbath, as it began to dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.

ܘܗܐ ܙܘܥܐ ܪܒܐ ܗܘܐ ܡܠܐܟܐ ܓܝܪ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܢܚܬ ܡܢ ܫܡܝܐ ܘܩܪܒ ܥܓܠ ܟܐܦܐ ܡܢ ܬܪܥܐ ܘܝܬܒ ܗܘܐ ܥܠܝܗ

Behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from the sky, and came and rolled away the stone from the door, and sat on it.

ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘܐ ܕܝܢ ܚܙܘܗ ܐܝܟ ܒܪܩܐ ܘܠܒܘܫܗ ܚܘܪ ܗܘܐ ܐܝܟ ܬܠܓܐ

His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow.

ܘܡܢ ܕܚܠܬܗ ܐܬܬܙܝܥܘ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܢܛܪܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܘܗܘܘ ܐܝܟ ܡܝܬܐ

For fear of him, the guards shook, and became like dead men.

ܥܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܡܠܐܟܐ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܢܫܐ ܐܢܬܝܢ ܠܐ ܬܕܚܠܢ ܝܕܥ ܐܢܐ ܓܝܪ ܕܠܝܫܘܥ ܕܐܙܕܩܦ ܒܥܝܢ ܐܢܬܝܢ
'nthyn beyn d'zdqp dlyshwe gyr 'n' yde thdkhln l' 'nthyn lnsh' w'mr ml'k' dyn en'
The angel answered the women, “Don’t be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus, who has been crucified.

ܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܬܢܢ ܩܡ ܠܗ ܓܝܪ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܐܡܪ ܬܐܝܝܢ ܚܙܝܝܢ ܕܘܟܬܐ ܕܣܝܡ ܗܘܐ ܒܗ ܡܪܢ
mrn bh hw' dsym dwkth' khzyyn th'yyn d'mr 'ykn' gyr lh qm thnn hw' l'
He is not here, for he has risen, just like he said. Come, see the place where the Lord was lying.

ܘܙܠܝܢ ܒܥܓܠ ܐܡܪܝܢ ܠܬܠܡܝܕܘܗܝ ܕܩܡ ܡܢ ܒܝܬ ܡܝܬܐ ܘܗܐ ܩܕܡ ܠܟܘܢ ܠܓܠܝܠܐ ܬܡܢ ܬܚܙܘܢܝܗܝ ܗܐ ܐܡܪܬ ܠܟܝܢ
lkyn 'mrth h' thkhzwnyhy thmn lglyl' lkwn qdm wh' myth' byth mn dqm lthlmydwhy 'mryn begl wzlyn
Go quickly and tell his disciples, ‘He has risen from the dead, and behold, he goes before you into Galilee; there you will see him.’ Behold, I have told you.”

ܘܐܙܠ ܥܓܠ ܡܢ ܩܒܪܐ ܒܕܚܠܬܐ ܘܒܚܕܘܬܐ ܪܒܬܐ ܘܪܗܛܢ ܕܢܐܡܪܢ ܠܬܠܡܝܕܘܗܝ
lthlmydwhy dn'mrn wrhTn rbth' wbkhdwth' bdkhlth' qbr' mn egl w'zl
They departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring his disciples word.

ܘܗܐ ܝܫܘܥ ܦܓܥ ܒܗܝܢ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗܝܢ ܫܠܡ ܠܟܝܢ ܗܢܝܢ ܕܝܢ ܩܪܒ ܐܚܕ ܪܓܠܘܗܝ ܘܣܓܕܝܢ ܠܗ
lh wsgdyn rglwhy 'khd qrb dyn hnyn lkyn shlm lhyn w'mr bhyn pge yshwe wh'
As they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying,
“Rejoice!”
They came and took hold of his feet, and worshiped him.

ܗܝܕܝܢ ܐܡܪ ܠܗܝܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܠܐ ܬܕܚܠܢ ܐܠܐ ܙܠܝܢ ܐܡܪܝܢ ܠܐܚܝ ܕܢܐܙܠܘܢ ܠܓܠܝܠܐ ܘܬܡܢ ܢܚܙܘܢܢܝ
nkhzwnny wthmn lglyl' dn'zlwn l'khy 'mryn zlyn 'l' thdkhln l' yshwe lhyn 'mr hydyn
Then Jesus said to them,
“Don’t be afraid. Go tell my brothers
that they should go into Galilee, and there they will see me.”

ܟܕ ܐܙܠܝܢ ܕܝܢ ܐܬܘ ܐܢܫܐ ܡܢ ܩܣܛܘܢܪܐ ܗܢܘܢ ܠܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܘܐܡܪܘ ܠܪܒܝ ܟܗܢܐ ܟܠ ܡܕܡ ܕܗܘܐ

Now while they were going, behold, some of the guards came into the city, and told the chief priests all the things that had happened.

ܘܐܬܟܢܫܘ ܥܡ ܩܫܝܫܐ ܘܢܣܒܘ ܡܠܟܐ ܘܝܗܒܘ ܟܣܦܐ ܠܐ ܙܥܘܪ ܠܩܣܛܘܢܪܐ

When they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave a large amount of silver to the soldiers,

ܘܐܡܪܝܢ ܠܗܘܢ ܐܡܪܘ ܕܬܠܡܝܕܘܗܝ ܐܬܘ ܓܢܒܘܗܝ ܒܠܠܝܐ ܟܕ ܕܡܟܝܢ ܚܢܢ
khnn dmkyn kd blly' gnbwhy 'thw dthlmydwhy 'mrw lhwn w'mryn
saying, “Say that his disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.

ܘܐܢ ܐܫܬܡܥܬ ܗܕܐ ܩܕܡ ܗܓܡܘܢܐ ܚܢܢ ܡܦܝܣܝܢ ܚܢܢ ܠܗ ܘܠܟܘܢ ܕܠܐ ܨܦܬܐ ܥܒܕܝܢ ܚܢܢ
khnn ebdyn tspth' dl' wlkwn lh khnn mpysyn khnn hgmwn' qdm hd' 'shthmeth w'n
If this comes to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him and make you free of worry.”

ܗܢܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܟܕ ܢܣܒܘ ܟܣܦܐ ܥܒܕܘ ܐܝܟ ܕܐܠܦܘ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܢܦܩܬ ܡܠܬܐ ܗܕܐ ܒܝܬ ܝܗܘܕܝܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܝܘܡܢܐ
lywmn' edm' yhwdy' byth hd' mlth' wnpqth 'nwn d'lpw 'yk ebdw ksp' nsbw kd dyn hnwn
So they took the money and did as they were told. This saying was spread abroad among the Jews, and continues until today.

ܬܠܡܝܕܐ ܕܝܢ ܚܕܥܣܪ ܐܙܠܘ ܠܓܠܝܠܐ ܠܛܘܪܐ ܐܝܟܐ ܕܘܥܕ ܐܢܘܢ ܝܫܘܥ
yshwe 'nwn dwed 'yk' lTwr' lglyl' 'zlw khdesr dyn thlmyd'
But the eleven disciples went into Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had sent them.

ܘܟܕ ܚܙܐܘܗܝ ܣܓܕܘ ܠܗ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܐܬܦܠܓܘ ܗܘܘ

When they saw him, they bowed down to him, but some doubted.

ܘܩܪܒ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܠܠ ܥܡܗܘܢ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܐܬܝܗܒ ܠܝ ܟܠ ܫܘܠܛܢ ܒܫܡܝܐ ܘܒܐܪܥܐ ܘܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܫܕܪܢܝ ܐܒܝ ܡܫܕܪ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ

Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying,
“All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.

ܙܠܘ ܗܟܝܠ ܬܠܡܕܘ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܥܡܡܐ ܘܐܥܡܕܘ ܐܢܘܢ ܒܫܡ ܐܒܐ ܘܒܪܐ ܘܪܘܚܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܐ

Go
and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

ܘܐܠܦܘ ܐܢܘܢ ܕܢܛܪܘܢ ܟܠ ܡܐ ܕܦܩܕܬܟܘܢ ܘܗܐ ܐܢܐ ܥܡܟܘܢ ܐܢܐ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܝܘܡܬܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܫܘܠܡܗ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܐܡܝܢ
'myn delm' lshwlmh edm' ywmth' klhwn 'n' emkwn 'n' wh' dpqdthkwn m' kl dnTrwn 'nwn w'lpw
teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
