ܗܝܕܝܢ ܬܕܡܐ ܡܠܟܘܬܐ ܕܫܡܝܐ ܠܥܣܪ ܒܬܘܠܢ ܗܢܝܢ ܕܢܣܒ ܠܡܦܕܝܗܝܢ ܘܢܦܩ ܠܐܘܪܥ ܚܬܢܐ ܘܟܠܬܐ
hydyn thdm' mlkwth' dshmy' lesr bthwln hnyn dnsb lmpdyhyn wnpq l'wre khthn' wklth'
“Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went out to meet the bridegroom.

ܚܡܫ ܕܝܢ ܡܢܗܝܢ ܚܟܝܡܢ ܗܘܝ ܘܚܡܫ ܣܟܠܢ
khmsh dyn mnhyn khkymn hwy wkhmsh skln
Five of them were foolish, and five were wise.

ܘܗܢܝܢ ܣܟܠܬܐ ܢܣܒ ܠܡܦܕܝܗܝܢ ܘܠܐ ܢܣܒ ܥܡܗܝܢ ܡܫܚܐ
whnyn sklth' nsb lmpdyhyn wl' nsb emhyn mshkh'
Those who were foolish, when they took their lamps, took no oil with them,

ܗܢܝܢ ܕܝܢ ܚܟܝܡܬܐ ܢܣܒ ܡܫܚܐ ܒܡܐܢܐ ܥܡ ܠܡܦܕܝܗܝܢ
hnyn dyn khkymth' nsb mshkh' bm'n' em lmpdyhyn
but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

ܟܕ ܐܘܚܪ ܕܝܢ ܚܬܢܐ ܢܡ ܟܠܗܝܢ ܘܕܡܟ
kd 'wkhr dyn khthn' nm klhyn wdmk
Now while the bridegroom delayed, they all slumbered and slept.

ܘܒܦܠܓܗ ܕܠܠܝܐ ܗܘܬ ܩܥܬܐ ܗܐ ܚܬܢܐ ܐܬܐ ܦܘܩܘ ܠܐܘܪܥܗ
wbplgh dlly' hwth qeth' h' khthn' 'th' pwqw l'wreh
But at midnight there was a cry, ‘Behold! The bridegroom is coming! Come out to meet him!’

ܗܝܕܝܢ ܩܡ ܟܠܗܝܢ ܒܬܘܠܬܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܘܬܩܢ ܠܡܦܕܝܗܝܢ
hydyn qm klhyn bthwlth' hlyn wthqn lmpdyhyn
Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

ܐܡܪܢ ܕܝܢ ܗܢܝܢ ܣܟܠܬܐ ܠܚܟܝܡܬܐ ܗܒܝܢ ܠܢ ܡܢ ܡܫܚܟܝܢ ܕܗܐ ܕܥܟܘ ܠܗܘܢ ܠܡܦܕܝܢ
'mrn dyn hnyn sklth' lkhkymth' hbyn ln mn mshkhkyn dh' dekw lhwn lmpdyn
The foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’

ܥܢܝ ܗܠܝܢ ܚܟܝܡܬܐ ܘܐܡܪܢ ܠܡܐ ܠܐ ܢܣܦܩ ܠܢ ܘܠܟܝܢ ܐܠܐ ܙܠܝܢ ܠܘܬ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܡܙܒܢܝܢ ܘܙܒܢܝܢ ܠܟܝܢ
eny hlyn khkymth' w'mrn lm' l' nspq ln wlkyn 'l' zlyn lwth 'ylyn dmzbnyn wzbnyn lkyn
But the wise answered, saying, ‘What if there isn’t enough for us and you? You go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’

ܘܟܕ ܐܙܠ ܠܡܙܒܢ ܐܬܐ ܚܬܢܐ ܘܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܡܛܝܒܢ ܗܘܝ ܥܠ ܥܡܗ ܠܒܝܬ ܚܠܘܠܐ ܘܐܬܬܚܕ ܬܪܥܐ
wkd 'zl lmzbn 'th' khthn' w'ylyn dmTybn hwy el emh lbyth khlwl' w'ththkhd thre'
While they went away to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut.

ܒܚܪܬܐ ܕܝܢ ܐܬܝ ܐܦ ܗܢܝܢ ܒܬܘܠܬܐ ܐܚܪܢܝܬܐ ܘܐܡܪܢ ܡܪܢ ܡܪܢ ܦܬܚ ܠܢ
bkhrth' dyn 'thy 'p hnyn bthwlth' 'khrnyth' w'mrn mrn mrn pthkh ln
Afterward the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us.’

ܗܘ ܕܝܢ ܥܢܐ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗܝܢ ܐܡܝܢ ܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܝܢ ܕܠܐ ܝܕܥ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܝܢ
hw dyn en' w'mr lhyn 'myn 'mr 'n' lkyn dl' yde 'n' lkyn
But he answered, ‘Most certainly I tell you, I don’t know you.’

ܐܬܬܥܝܪܘ ܗܟܝܠ ܕܠܐ ܝܕܥܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܠܝܘܡܐ ܗܘ ܘܠܐ ܠܫܥܬܐ
'ththeyrw hkyl dl' ydeyn 'nthwn lywm' hw wl' lsheth'
Watch therefore, for you don’t know the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.

ܐܝܟ ܓܒܪܐ ܓܝܪ ܕܚܙܩ ܩܪܐ ܠܥܒܕܘܗܝ ܘܐܫܠܡ ܠܗܘܢ ܩܢܝܢܗ
'yk gbr' gyr dkhzq qr' lebdwhy w'shlm lhwn qnynh
“For it is like a man, going into another country, who called his own servants, and entrusted his goods to them.

ܐܝܬ ܕܝܗܒ ܠܗ ܚܡܫ ܟܟܪܝܢ ܘܐܝܬ ܕܬܪܬܝܢ ܘܐܝܬ ܕܚܕܐ ܐܢܫ ܐܢܫ ܐܝܟ ܚܝܠܗ ܘܚܙܩ ܡܚܕܐ
'yth dyhb lh khmsh kkryn w'yth dthrthyn w'yth dkhd' 'nsh 'nsh 'yk khylh wkhzq mkhd'
To one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one; to each according to his own ability. Then he went on his journey.

ܐܙܠ ܕܝܢ ܗܘ ܕܢܣܒ ܚܡܫ ܟܟܪܝܢ ܐܬܬܓܪ ܒܗܝܢ ܘܝܬܪ ܚܡܫ ܐܚܪܢܝܢ
'zl dyn hw dnsb khmsh kkryn 'ththgr bhyn wythr khmsh 'khrnyn
Immediately he who received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents.

ܘܗܟܘܬ ܐܦ ܗܘ ܕܬܪܬܝܢ ܐܬܬܓܪ ܬܪܬܝܢ ܐܚܪܢܝܢ
whkwth 'p hw dthrthyn 'ththgr thrthyn 'khrnyn
In the same way, he also who got the two gained another two.

ܗܘ ܕܝܢ ܕܢܣܒ ܚܕܐ ܐܙܠ ܚܦܪ ܒܐܪܥܐ ܘܛܫܝ ܟܣܦܐ ܕܡܪܗ
hw dyn dnsb khd' 'zl khpr b're' wTshy ksp' dmrh
But he who received the one talent went away and dug in the earth, and hid his lord’s money.

ܒܬܪ ܕܝܢ ܙܒܢܐ ܣܓܝܐܐ ܐܬܐ ܡܪܗܘܢ ܕܥܒܕܐ ܗܢܘܢ ܘܢܣܒ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܚܘܫܒܢܐ
bthr dyn zbn' sgy'' 'th' mrhwn debd' hnwn wnsb mnhwn khwshbn'
“Now after a long time the lord of those servants came, and reconciled accounts with them.

ܘܩܪܒ ܗܘ ܕܢܣܒ ܗܘܐ ܚܡܫ ܟܟܪܝܢ ܘܩܪܒ ܚܡܫ ܐܚܪܢܝܢ ܘܐܡܪ ܡܪܝ ܚܡܫ ܟܟܪܝܢ ܝܗܒܬ ܠܝ ܗܐ ܚܡܫ ܐܚܪܢܝܢ ܐܬܬܓܪܬ ܥܠܝܗܝܢ
wqrb hw dnsb hw' khmsh kkryn wqrb khmsh 'khrnyn w'mr mry khmsh kkryn yhbth ly h' khmsh 'khrnyn 'ththgrth elyhyn
He who received the five talents came and brought another five talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents. Behold, I have gained another five talents besides them.’

ܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܡܪܗ ܐܝܘ ܥܒܕܐ ܛܒܐ ܘܡܗܝܡܢܐ ܥܠ ܩܠܝܠ ܡܗܝܡܢ ܗܘܝܬ ܥܠ ܣܓܝ ܐܩܝܡܟ ܥܘܠ ܠܚܕܘܬܗ ܕܡܪܟ
'mr lh mrh 'yw ebd' Tb' wmhymn' el qlyl mhymn hwyth el sgy 'qymk ewl lkhdwthh dmrk
“His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’

ܘܩܪܒ ܗܘ ܕܬܪܬܝܢ ܟܟܪܘܗܝ ܘܐܡܪ ܡܪܝ ܬܪܬܝܢ ܟܟܪܝܢ ܝܗܒܬ ܠܝ ܗܐ ܬܪܬܝܢ ܐܚܪܢܝܢ ܐܬܬܓܪܬ ܥܠܝܗܝܢ
wqrb hw dthrthyn kkrwhy w'mr mry thrthyn kkryn yhbth ly h' thrthyn 'khrnyn 'ththgrth elyhyn
“He also who got the two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents. Behold, I have gained another two talents besides them.’

ܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܡܪܗ ܐܝܘ ܥܒܕܐ ܛܒܐ ܘܡܗܝܡܢܐ ܥܠ ܩܠܝܠ ܡܗܝܡܢ ܗܘܝܬ ܥܠ ܣܓܝ ܐܩܝܡܟ ܥܘܠ ܠܚܕܘܬܗ ܕܡܪܟ
'mr lh mrh 'yw ebd' Tb' wmhymn' el qlyl mhymn hwyth el sgy 'qymk ewl lkhdwthh dmrk

ܩܪܒ ܕܝܢ ܐܦ ܗܘ ܕܢܣܒ ܚܕܐ ܟܟܪܐ ܘܐܡܪ ܡܪܝ ܝܕܥ ܗܘܝܬ ܠܟ ܕܓܒܪܐ ܐܢܬ ܩܫܝܐ ܘܚܨܕ ܐܢܬ ܐܝܟܐ ܕܠܐ ܙܪܥܬ ܘܡܟܢܫ ܐܢܬ ܡܢ ܐܝܟܐ ܕܠܐ ܒܕܪܬ

“He also who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you that you are a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you did not scatter.

ܘܕܚܠܬ ܘܐܙܠܬ ܛܫܝܬܗ ܟܟܪܟ ܒܐܪܥܐ ܗܐ ܐܝܬ ܠܟ ܕܝܠܟ
wdkhlth w'zlth Tshythh kkrk b're' h' 'yth lk dylk
I was afraid, and went away and hid your talent in the earth. Behold, you have what is yours.’

ܥܢܐ ܡܪܗ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܥܒܕܐ ܒܝܫܐ ܘܚܒܢܢܐ ܝܕܥ ܗܘܝܬ ܕܚܨܕ ܐܢܐ ܐܝܟܐ ܕܠܐ ܙܪܥܬ ܘܡܟܢܫ ܐܢܐ ܡܢ ܐܝܟܐ ܕܠܐ ܒܕܪܬ
en' mrh w'mr lh ebd' bysh' wkhbnn' yde hwyth dkhtsd 'n' 'yk' dl' zreth wmknsh 'n' mn 'yk' dl' bdrth
“But his lord answered him, ‘You wicked and slothful servant. You knew that I reap where I didn’t sow, and gather where I didn’t scatter.

ܘܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܠܟ ܕܬܪܡܐ ܟܣܦܝ ܥܠ ܦܬܘܪܐ ܘܐܬܐ ܗܘܝܬ ܐܢܐ ܘܬܒܥ ܗܘܝܬ ܕܝܠܝ ܥܡ ܪܒܝܬܗ
wl' hw' lk dthrm' kspy el pthwr' w'th' hwyth 'n' wthbe hwyth dyly em rbythh
You ought therefore to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received back my own with interest.

ܣܒܘ ܗܟܝܠ ܡܢܗ ܟܟܪܐ ܘܗܒܘܗ ܠܗܘ ܕܐܝܬ ܠܗ ܥܣܪ ܟܟܪܝܢ

Take away therefore the talent from him, and give it to him who has the ten talents.

ܠܡܢ ܓܝܪ ܕܐܝܬ ܠܗ ܢܬܝܗܒ ܠܗ ܘܢܬܬܘܣܦ ܠܗ ܘܗܘ ܕܝܢ ܕܠܝܬ ܠܗ ܘܐܦ ܗܘ ܕܐܝܬ ܠܗ ܢܫܬܩܠ ܡܢܗ
lmn gyr d'yth lh nthyhb lh wnththwsp lh whw dyn dlyth lh w'p hw d'yth lh nshthql mnh
For to everyone who has will be given, and he will have abundance, but from him who doesn’t have, even that which he has will be taken away.

ܘܠܥܒܕܐ ܒܛܝܠܐ ܐܦܩܘܗܝ ܠܚܫܘܟܐ ܒܪܝܐ ܬܡܢ ܢܗܘܐ ܒܟܝܐ ܘܚܘܪܩ ܫܢܐ
wlebd' bTyl' 'pqwhy lkhshwk' bry' thmn nhw' bky' wkhwrq shn'
Throw out the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

ܡܐ ܕܐܬܐ ܕܝܢ ܒܪܗ ܕܐܢܫܐ ܒܫܘܒܚܗ ܘܟܠܗܘܢ ܡܠܐܟܘܗܝ ܩܕܝܫܐ ܥܡܗ ܗܝܕܝܢ ܢܬܒ ܥܠ ܬܪܢܘܣ ܕܫܘܒܚܗ
m' d'th' dyn brh d'nsh' bshwbkhh wklhwn ml'kwhy qdysh' emh hydyn nthb el thrnws dshwbkhh
“But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory.

ܘܢܬܟܢܫܘܢ ܩܕܡܘܗܝ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܥܡܡܐ ܘܢܦܪܫ ܐܢܘܢ ܚܕ ܡܢ ܚܕ ܐܝܟ ܪܥܝܐ ܕܡܦܪܫ ܥܪܒܐ ܡܢ ܓܕܝܐ
wnthknshwn qdmwhy klhwn emm' wnprsh 'nwn khd mn khd 'yk rey' dmprsh erb' mn gdy'
Before him all the nations will be gathered, and he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

ܘܢܩܝܡ ܥܪܒܐ ܡܢ ܝܡܝܢܗ ܘܓܕܝܐ ܡܢ ܣܡܠܗ
wnqym erb' mn ymynh wgdy' mn smlh
He will set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

ܗܝܕܝܢ ܢܐܡܪ ܡܠܟܐ ܠܗܢܘܢ ܕܡܢ ܝܡܝܢܗ ܬܘ ܒܪܝܟܘܗܝ ܕܐܒܝ ܝܪܬܘ ܡܠܟܘܬܐ ܕܥܬܝܕܐ ܗܘܬ ܠܟܘܢ ܡܢ ܬܪܡܝܬܗ ܕܥܠܡܐ
hydyn n'mr mlk' lhnwn dmn ymynh thw brykwhy d'by yrthw mlkwth' dethyd' hwth lkwn mn thrmythh delm'
Then the King will tell those on his right hand, ‘Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;

ܟܦܢܬ ܓܝܪ ܘܝܗܒܬܘܢ ܠܝ ܠܡܐܟܠ ܘܨܗܝܬ ܘܐܫܩܝܬܘܢܢܝ ܐܟܣܢܝܐ ܗܘܝܬ ܘܟܢܫܬܘܢܢܝ
kpnth gyr wyhbthwn ly lm'kl wtshyth w'shqythwnny 'ksny' hwyth wknshthwnny
for I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in.

ܥܪܛܠܝܐ ܗܘܝܬ ܘܟܣܝܬܘܢܢܝ ܟܪܝܗ ܗܘܝܬ ܘܣܥܪܬܘܢܢܝ ܘܒܝܬ ܐܣܝܪܐ ܗܘܝܬ ܘܐܬܝܬܘܢ ܠܘܬܝ
erTly' hwyth wksythwnny kryh hwyth wserthwnny wbyth 'syr' hwyth w'thythwn lwthy
I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you visited me. I was in prison, and you came to me.’

ܗܝܕܝܢ ܢܐܡܪܘܢ ܠܗ ܗܢܘܢ ܙܕܝܩܐ ܡܪܢ ܐܡܬܝ ܚܙܝܢܟ ܕܟܦܢ ܐܢܬ ܘܬܪܣܝܢܟ ܐܘ ܕܨܗܐ ܐܢܬ ܘܐܫܩܝܢܟ
hydyn n'mrwn lh hnwn zdyq' mrn 'mthy khzynk dkpn 'nth wthrsynk 'w dtsh' 'nth w'shqynk
“Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you; or thirsty, and give you a drink?

ܘܐܡܬܝ ܚܙܝܢܟ ܕܐܟܣܢܝܐ ܐܢܬ ܘܟܢܫܢܟ ܐܘ ܕܥܪܛܠܝ ܐܢܬ ܘܟܣܝܢܟ
w'mthy khzynk d'ksny' 'nth wknshnk 'w derTly 'nth wksynk
When did we see you as a stranger, and take you in; or naked, and clothe you?

ܘܐܡܬܝ ܚܙܝܢܟ ܟܪܝܗܐ ܐܘ ܒܝܬ ܐܣܝܪܐ ܘܐܬܝܢ ܠܘܬܟ
w'mthy khzynk kryh' 'w byth 'syr' w'thyn lwthk
When did we see you sick, or in prison, and come to you?’

ܘܥܢܐ ܡܠܟܐ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܐܡܝܢ ܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܕܟܡܐ ܕܥܒܕܬܘܢ ܠܚܕ ܡܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܐܚܝ ܙܥܘܪܐ ܠܝ ܗܘ ܥܒܕܬܘܢ
wen' mlk' w'mr lhwn 'myn 'mr 'n' lkwn dkm' debdthwn lkhd mn hlyn 'khy zewr' ly hw ebdthwn
“The King will answer them, ‘Most certainly I tell you, because you did it to one of the least of these my brothers,
you did it to me.’

ܗܝܕܝܢ ܢܐܡܪ ܐܦ ܠܗܢܘܢ ܕܡܢ ܣܡܠܗ ܙܠܘ ܠܟܘܢ ܡܢܝ ܠܝܛܐ ܠܢܘܪܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ ܗܝ ܕܡܛܝܒܐ ܠܐܟܠܩܪܨܐ ܘܠܡܠܐܟܘܗܝ
hydyn n'mr 'p lhnwn dmn smlh zlw lkwn mny lyT' lnwr' dlelm hy dmTyb' l'klqrts' wlml'kwhy
Then he will say also to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels;

ܟܦܢܬ ܓܝܪ ܘܠܐ ܝܗܒܬܘܢ ܠܝ ܠܡܐܟܠ ܘܨܗܝܬ ܘܠܐ ܐܫܩܝܬܘܢܢܝ
kpnth gyr wl' yhbthwn ly lm'kl wtshyth wl' 'shqythwnny
for I was hungry, and you didn’t give me food to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me no drink;

ܘܐܟܣܢܝܐ ܗܘܝܬ ܘܠܐ ܟܢܫܬܘܢܢܝ ܘܥܪܛܠܝܐ ܗܘܝܬ ܘܠܐ ܟܣܝܬܘܢܢܝ ܘܟܪܝܗܐ ܗܘܝܬ ܘܒܝܬ ܐܣܝܪܐ ܗܘܝܬ ܘܠܐ ܣܥܪܬܘܢܢܝ

I was a stranger, and you didn’t take me in; naked, and you didn’t clothe me; sick, and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.’

ܗܝܕܝܢ ܢܥܢܘܢ ܐܦ ܗܢܘܢ ܘܢܐܡܪܘܢ ܡܪܢ ܐܡܬܝ ܚܙܝܢܟ ܟܦܢܐ ܐܘ ܨܗܝܐ ܐܘ ܐܟܣܢܝܐ ܐܘ ܥܪܛܠܝܐ ܐܘ ܟܪܝܗܐ ܐܘ ܒܝܬ ܐܣܝܪܐ ܘܠܐ ܫܡܫܢܟ
hydyn nenwn 'p hnwn wn'mrwn mrn 'mthy khzynk kpn' 'w tshy' 'w 'ksny' 'w erTly' 'w kryh' 'w byth 'syr' wl' shmshnk
“Then they will also answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and didn’t help you?’

ܗܝܕܝܢ ܢܥܢܐ ܘܢܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܐܡܝܢ ܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܕܟܡܐ ܕܠܐ ܥܒܕܬܘܢ ܠܚܕ ܡܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܙܥܘܪܐ ܐܦ ܠܐ ܠܝ ܥܒܕܬܘܢ
hydyn nen' wn'mr lhwn 'myn 'mr 'n' lkwn dkm' dl' ebdthwn lkhd mn hlyn zewr' 'p l' ly ebdthwn
“Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Most certainly I tell you, because you didn’t do it to one of the least of these, you didn’t do it to me.’

ܘܢܐܙܠܘܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܠܬܫܢܝܩܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ ܘܙܕܝܩܐ ܠܚܝܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ
