ܘܟܕ ܥܒܪܬ ܫܒܬܐ ܡܪܝܡ ܡܓܕܠܝܬܐ ܘܡܪܝܡ ܕܝܥܩܘܒ ܘܫܠܘܡ ܙܒܢ ܗܪܘܡܐ ܕܢܐܬܝܢ ܢܡܫܚܢܝܗܝ
nmshkhnyhy dn'thyn hrwm' zbn wshlwm dyeqwb wmrym mgdlyth' mrym shbth' ebrth wkd
When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, that they might come and anoint him.

ܒܫܦܪܐ ܕܝܢ ܒܚܕ ܒܫܒܐ ܐܬܝ ܠܒܝܬ ܩܒܘܪܐ ܟܕ ܕܢܚ ܫܡܫܐ
shmsh' dnkh kd qbwr' lbyth 'thy bshb' bkhd dyn bshpr'
Very early on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen.

ܘܐܡܪܢ ܗܘܝ ܒܢܦܫܗܝܢ ܡܢ ܕܝܢ ܥܓܠ ܠܢ ܟܐܦܐ ܡܢ ܬܪܥܐ ܕܒܝܬ ܩܒܘܪܐ
qbwr' dbyth thre' mn k'p' ln egl dyn mn bnpshhyn hwy w'mrn
They were saying among themselves, “Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?”

ܘܚܪ ܚܙܝ ܕܡܥܓܠܐ ܗܝ ܟܐܦܐ ܪܒܐ ܗܘܬ ܓܝܪ ܛܒ
Tb gyr hwth rb' k'p' hy dmegl' khzy wkhr
for it was very big. Looking up, they saw that the stone was rolled back.

ܘܥܠܝܢ ܠܒܝܬ ܩܒܘܪܐ ܘܚܙܝ ܥܠܝܡܐ ܕܝܬܒ ܡܢ ܝܡܝܢܐ ܘܥܛܝܦ ܐܣܛܠܐ ܚܘܪܬܐ ܘܬܡܗ
wthmh khwrth' 'sTl' weTyp ymyn' mn dythb elym' wkhzy qbwr' lbyth welyn
Entering into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe, and they were amazed.

ܗܘ ܕܝܢ ܐܡܪ ܠܗܝܢ ܠܐ ܬܕܚܠܢ ܠܝܫܘܥ ܢܨܪܝܐ ܒܥܝܢ ܐܢܬܝܢ ܗܘ ܕܐܙܕܩܦ ܩܡ ܠܗ ܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܬܢܢ ܗܐ ܕܘܟܬܐ ܐܝܟܐ ܕܣܝܡ ܗܘܐ
hw' dsym 'yk' dwkth' h' thnn hw' l' lh qm d'zdqp hw 'nthyn beyn ntsry' lyshwe thdkhln l' lhyn 'mr dyn hw
He said to them, “Don’t be amazed. You seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen. He is not here. Behold, the place where they laid him!

ܐܠܐ ܙܠܝܢ ܐܡܪܝܢ ܠܬܠܡܝܕܘܗܝ ܘܠܟܐܦܐ ܕܗܐ ܩܕܡ ܠܟܘܢ ܠܓܠܝܠܐ ܬܡܢ ܬܚܙܘܢܝܗܝ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܐܡܪ ܠܟܘܢ
lkwn d'mr 'ykn' thkhzwnyhy thmn lglyl' lkwn qdm dh' wlk'p' lthlmydwhy 'mryn zlyn 'l'
But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He goes before you into Galilee. There you will see him, as he said to you.’”

ܘܟܕ ܫܡܥ ܥܪܩ ܘܢܦܩ ܡܢ ܩܒܪܐ ܐܚܝܕ ܗܘܐ ܠܗܝܢ ܓܝܪ ܬܗܪܐ ܘܪܬܝܬܐ ܘܠܐܢܫ ܡܕܡ ܠܐ ܐܡܪܝܢ ܕܚܝܠܢ ܗܘܝ ܓܝܪ
gyr hwy dkhyln 'mryn l' mdm wl'nsh wrthyth' thhr' gyr lhyn hw' 'khyd qbr' mn wnpq erq shme wkd
They went out, and fled from the tomb, for trembling and astonishment had come on them. They said nothing to anyone; for they were afraid.

ܒܫܦܪܐ ܕܝܢ ܒܚܕ ܒܫܒܐ ܩܡ ܘܐܬܚܙܝ ܠܘܩܕܡ ܠܡܪܝܡ ܡܓܕܠܝܬܐ ܗܝ ܕܫܒܥܐ ܫܐܕܝܢ ܐܦܩ ܗܘܐ ܡܢܗ
mnh hw' 'pq sh'dyn dshbe' hy mgdlyth' lmrym lwqdm w'thkhzy qm bshb' bkhd dyn bshpr'
Now when he had risen early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.

ܘܗܝ ܐܙܠܬ ܣܒܪܬ ܠܗܢܘܢ ܕܥܡܗ ܗܘܘ ܕܐܒܝܠܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܘܒܟܝܢ

She went and told those who had been with him, as they mourned and wept.

ܘܗܢܘܢ ܟܕ ܫܡܥܘ ܕܐܡܪܢ ܕܚܝ ܘܐܬܚܙܝ ܠܗܝܢ ܠܐ ܗܝܡܢܘ ܐܢܝܢ
'nyn hymnw l' lhyn w'thkhzy dkhy d'mrn shmew kd whnwn
When they heard that he was alive, and had been seen by her, they disbelieved.

ܒܬܪ ܗܠܝܢ ܐܬܚܙܝ ܠܬܪܝܢ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܒܕܡܘܬܐ ܐܚܪܬܐ ܟܕ ܡܗܠܟܝܢ ܘܐܙܠܝܢ ܠܩܪܝܬܐ
lqryth' w'zlyn mhlkyn kd 'khrth' bdmwth' mnhwn lthryn 'thkhzy hlyn bthr
After these things he was revealed in another form to two of them, as they walked, on their way into the country.

ܘܗܢܘܢ ܐܙܠܘ ܐܡܪܘ ܠܫܪܟܐ ܐܦ ܠܐ ܠܗܢܘܢ ܗܝܡܢܘ
hymnw lhnwn l' 'p lshrk' 'mrw 'zlw whnwn
They went away and told it to the rest. They didn’t believe them, either.

ܐܚܪܝܬ ܕܝܢ ܐܬܚܙܝ ܠܚܕܥܣܪ ܟܕ ܣܡܝܟܝܢ ܘܚܣܕ ܠܚܣܝܪܘܬ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܗܘܢ ܘܠܩܫܝܘܬ ܠܒܗܘܢ ܕܠܗܢܘܢ ܕܚܙܐܘܗܝ ܕܩܡ ܠܐ ܗܝܡܢܘ
hymnw l' dqm dkhz'why dlhnwn lbhwn wlqshywth hymnwthhwn lkhsyrwth wkhsd smykyn kd lkhdesr 'thkhzy dyn 'khryth
Afterward he was revealed to the eleven themselves as they sat at the table, and he rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they didn’t believe those who had seen him after he had risen.

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܙܠܘ ܠܥܠܡܐ ܟܠܗ ܘܐܟܪܙܘ ܣܒܪܬܝ ܒܟܠܗ ܒܪܝܬܐ
bryth' bklh sbrthy w'krzw klh lelm' zlw lhwn w'mr
He said to them, “Go into all the world, and preach the Good News to the whole creation.

ܐܝܢܐ ܕܡܗܝܡܢ ܘܥܡܕ ܚܝܐ ܘܐܝܢܐ ܕܠܐ ܡܗܝܡܢ ܡܬܚܝܒ
mthkhyb mhymn dl' w'yn' khy' wemd dmhymn 'yn'
He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned.

ܐܬܘܬܐ ܕܝܢ ܠܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܡܗܝܡܢܝܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܢܩܦܢ ܒܫܡܝ ܫܐܕܐ ܢܦܩܘܢ ܘܒܠܫܢܐ ܚܕܬܐ ܢܡܠܠܘܢ
nmllwn khdth' wblshn' npqwn sh'd' bshmy nqpn hlyn dmhymnyn l'ylyn dyn 'thwth'
These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages;

ܘܚܘܘܬܐ ܢܫܩܠܘܢ ܘܐܢ ܣܡܐ ܕܡܘܬܐ ܢܫܬܘܢ ܠܐ ܢܗܪ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܐܝܕܝܗܘܢ ܢܣܝܡܘܢ ܥܠ ܟܪܝܗܐ ܘܢܬܚܠܡܘܢ
wnthkhlmwn kryh' el nsymwn w'ydyhwn 'nwn nhr l' nshthwn dmwth' sm' w'n nshqlwn wkhwwth'
they will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will in no way hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

ܝܫܘܥ ܕܝܢ ܡܪܢ ܡܢ ܒܬܪ ܕܡܠܠ ܥܡܗܘܢ ܠܫܡܝܐ ܣܠܩ ܘܝܬܒ ܡܢ ܝܡܝܢܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ
d'lh' ymyn' mn wythb slq lshmy' emhwn dmll bthr mn mrn dyn yshwe
So then the Lord, after he had spoken to them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.

ܗܢܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܢܦܩܘ ܘܐܟܪܙܘ ܒܟܠ ܕܘܟܐ ܘܡܪܢ ܡܥܕܪ ܗܘܐ ܠܗܘܢ ܘܡܫܪ ܡܠܝܗܘܢ ܒܐܬܘܬܐ ܕܥܒܕܝܢ ܗܘܘ
hww debdyn b'thwth' mlyhwn wmshr lhwn hw' medr wmrn dwk' bkl w'krzw npqw dyn hnwn
They went out, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.
