וכען לכון תפקדתא הדא כהניא:
khnya hda thpqdtha lkwn wken
“Now, you priests, this commandment is for you.
2
אם לא תקבלון ואם לא תשוון דחלתי על לבא למתן יקרא לשמי אמר יי צבאות ואשלח בכון ית מארתא ואלוט ית ברכתכון ואף אלוטניה ארי ליתכון משוין דחלתי על לבא:
lba el dkhlthy mshwyn lythkwn ary alwTnyh wap brkthkwn yth walwT martha yth bkwn washlkh tsbawth yy amr lshmy yqra lmthn lba el dkhlthy thshwwn la wam thqblwn la am
If you will not listen, and if you will not take it to heart, to give glory to my name,” says Yahweh of Armies, “then I will send the curse on you, and I will curse your blessings. Indeed, I have cursed them already, because you do not take it to heart.

הא אנא נזיף לכון בעללת בר זרעא ואגלי בהתת חוביכון על אפיכון ואבטל רבות חגיכון ויתמנע חולקכון מניה:
mnyh khwlqkwn wythmne khgykwn rbwth wabTl apykwn el khwbykwn bhthth wagly zrea br bellth lkwn nzyp ana ha
Behold, I will rebuke your offspring, and will spread dung on your faces, even the dung of your feasts; and you will be taken away with it.

ותדעון ארי שלחית לותכון ית תפקדתא הדא למהוי קימי דעם לוי אמר יי צבאות:
tsbawth yy amr lwy dem qymy lmhwy hda thpqdtha yth lwthkwn shlkhyth ary wthdewn
You will know that I have sent this commandment to you, that my covenant may be with Levi,” says Yahweh of Armies.

קימי הוה עמיה חיי ושלמא ויהבת ליה אולפן אוריתי שלים שמי דחיל הוא:
hwa dkhyl shmy shlym awrythy awlpn lyh wyhbth wshlma khyy emyh hwh qymy
“My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him that he might be reverent toward me; and he was reverent toward me, and stood in awe of my name.

אוריתא דקושטא הוה בפומיה ושקרא לא אשתכח בספותיה בשלמא וברעותא ובתריצותא הליך קדמי וסגיאין אתיב מחובא:
mkhwba athyb wsgyayn qdmy hlyk wbthrytswtha wbrewtha bshlma bspwthyh ashthkkh la wshqra bpwmyh hwh dqwshTa awrytha
The law of truth was in his mouth, and unrighteousness was not found in his lips. He walked with me in peace and uprightness, and turned many away from iniquity.

ארי שפתי כהן יטרון מדע ואוראה יבעון מפומיה ארי משמש קדם יי צבאות הוא:
hwa tsbawth yy qdm mshmsh ary mpwmyh ybewn wawrah mde yTrwn khn shpthy ary
For the priest’s lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth; for he is the messenger of Yahweh of Armies.

ואתון סטיתון מן אורחא אתקלתון סגיאין באוריתא חבלתון קימא דעם לוי אמר יי צבאות:
tsbawth yy amr lwy dem qyma khblthwn bawrytha sgyayn athqlthwn awrkha mn sTythwn wathwn
But you have turned away from the path. You have caused many to stumble in the law. You have corrupted the covenant of Levi,” says Yahweh of Armies.

ואף אנא יהבית יתכון בסירין וחלשין לכל עמא כמא דליתכון נטרין ית אורחן דתקנן קדמי ונסבין אפין באוריתא:
bawrytha apyn wnsbyn qdmy dthqnn awrkhn yth nTryn dlythkwn kma ema lkl wkhlshyn bsyryn ythkwn yhbyth ana wap
“Therefore I have also made you contemptible and wicked before all the people, according to the way you have not kept my ways, but have had respect for persons in the law.

הלא אבא חד לכלנא הלא אלהא חד ברא יתנא מא דין נשקר גבר באחוהי לאפסא קימא די עם אבהתנא:
abhthna em dy qyma lapsa bakhwhy gbr nshqr dyn ma ythna bra khd alha hla lklna khd aba hla
Don’t we all have one father? Hasn’t one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, profaning the covenant of our fathers?

שקרו דבית יהודה ותועבתא אתעבידת בישראל ובירושלם ארי אפיסו דבית יהודה נפשהון דהות קדישא קדם יי דרחם ואתרעיאו למסב להון נשין בנת פלחי כוכביא:
kwkbya plkhy bnth nshyn lhwn lmsb wathreyaw drkhm yy qdm qdysha dhwth npshhwn yhwdh dbyth apysw ary wbyrwshlm byshral athebydth wthwebtha yhwdh dbyth shqrw
Judah has dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah has profaned the holiness of Yahweh which he loves, and has married the daughter of a foreign god.

ישיצי יי לגבר דיעבדנה בר ובר בר מקרוי יעקב ואם כהן הוא לא יהי ליה מקריב קורבנא בבית מקדשא דיי צבאות:
tsbawth dyy mqdsha bbyth qwrbna mqryb lyh yhy la hwa khn wam yeqb mqrwy br wbr br dyebdnh lgbr yy yshytsy
Yahweh will cut off the man who does this, him who wakes and him who answers, out of the tents of Jacob and him who offers an offering to Yahweh of Armies.

ודא תנינות די אתון עבדין חפת דמעתא ית מדבחא דיי די בכן ודי מדנקין מדלית עוד אתפנאה לקורבנא ולקבלא יתיה ברעוא מידכון:
mydkwn brewa ythyh wlqbla lqwrbna athpnah ewd mdlyth mdnqyn wdy bkn dy dyy mdbkha yth dmetha khpth ebdyn athwn dy thnynwth wda
“This again you do: you cover Yahweh’s altar with tears, with weeping, and with sighing, because he doesn’t regard the offering any more, neither receives it with good will at your hand.

ואם תימרון על מה על דיי אסהיד בינך ובין אתת ינקותך די את שקרת בה והיא שותפתך ואתת קימך:
qymk wathth shwthpthk whya bh shqrth ath dy ynqwthk athth wbyn bynk ashyd dyy el mh el thymrwn wam
Yet you say, ‘Why?’ Because Yahweh has been witness between you and the wife of your youth, against whom you have dealt treacherously, though she is your companion and the wife of your covenant.

הלא חד הוה אברהם יחידי די מניה אתברי עלמא ומה חד בעי אלהן די יתקים ליה ולד מן קדם יי ותסתמרון בנפשתכון ובאתת ינקותך לא תשקר:
thshqr la ynqwthk wbathth bnpshthkwn wthsthmrwn yy qdm mn wld lyh ythqym dy alhn bey khd wmh elma athbry mnyh dy ykhydy abrhm hwh khd hla
Did he not make you one, although he had the residue of the Spirit? Why one? He sought godly offspring. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let no one deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.

ארי אם סנית לה פטרה אמר יי אלהא דישראל ולא תכסי חטאה בלבושך אמר יי צבאות ותסתמרון בנפשתכון ולא תשקרון:
thshqrwn wla bnpshthkwn wthsthmrwn tsbawth yy amr blbwshk khTah thksy wla dyshral alha yy amr pTrh lh snyth am ary
One who hates and divorces”, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, “covers his garment with violence!” says Yahweh of Armies. “Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don’t be unfaithful.

אלהיתון קדם יי בפתגמיכון ואם תימרון במה אלהינא קדמוהי בדאתון אמרין כל דעביד ביש תקין קדם יי ובהון רעוא קדמוהי או אכא אלהא דעביד דינא:
dyna debyd alha aka aw qdmwhy rewa wbhwn yy qdm thqyn bysh debyd kl amryn bdathwn qdmwhy alhyna bmh thymrwn wam bpthgmykwn yy qdm alhythwn
You have wearied Yahweh with your words. Yet you say, ‘How have we wearied him?’ In that you say, ‘Everyone who does evil is good in Yahweh’s sight, and he delights in them;’ or ‘Where is the God of justice?’
