מטל פתגמא דיי על ישראל ביד מלאכי דיתקרי שמיה עזרא ספרא:
spra ezra shmyh dythqry mlaky byd yshral el dyy pthgma mTl
A revelation, Yahweh’s word to Israel by Malachi.

רחימית יתכון אמר יי ואם תימרון במא רחימתנא הלא אח עשו ליעקב אמר יי ורחימת ית יעקב:
yeqb yth wrkhymth yy amr lyeqb eshw akh hla rkhymthna bma thymrwn wam yy amr ythkwn rkhymyth
“I have loved you,” says Yahweh. Yet you say, “How have you loved us?” “Wasn’t Esau Jacob’s brother?” says Yahweh, “Yet I loved Jacob;

וית עשו רחיקית ושויתי ית טורוהי לצדו וית אחסנתיה לצדות מדברא:
mdbra ltsdwth akhsnthyh wyth ltsdw Twrwhy yth wshwythy rkhyqyth eshw wyth
but Esau I hated, and made his mountains a desolation, and gave his heritage to the jackals of the wilderness.”

ארי יימרון אדומאי אתמסכננא כען עתרנא נתוב ונבני חרבתא כדנן אמר יי צבאות אינון יבנון ואנא אפגר ויקרון להון תחומא דעמא רשיעא ועמא דאיתי עליהון לוט עד עלמא:
elma ed lwT elyhwn daythy wema rshyea dema thkhwma lhwn wyqrwn apgr wana ybnwn aynwn tsbawth yy amr kdnn khrbtha wnbny nthwb ethrna ken athmsknna adwmay yymrwn ary
Whereas Edom says, “We are beaten down, but we will return and build the waste places,” Yahweh of Armies says, “They shall build, but I will throw down; and men will call them ‘The Wicked Land,’ even the people against whom Yahweh shows wrath forever.”

ועיניכון יחזין ואתון תימרון יסגי יקרא דיי ואפתי ית תחום ישראל:
yshral thkhwm yth wapthy dyy yqra ysgy thymrwn wathwn ykhzyn weynykwn
Your eyes will see, and you will say, “Yahweh is great—even beyond the border of Israel!”

הא על ברא אמיר ליקרא ית אבא ועבדא למדחל מן קדם רבוניה אם כאב אנא אן דאתון מיקרון קדמי ואם כרבון אנא אן דאתון דחלין מן קדמי אמר יי צבאות לכון כהניא דמבסרין על שמי ואם תימרון במא בסרנא על שמך:
shmk el bsrna bma thymrwn wam shmy el dmbsryn khnya lkwn tsbawth yy amr qdmy mn dkhlyn dathwn an ana krbwn wam qdmy myqrwn dathwn an ana kab am rbwnyh qdm mn lmdkhl webda aba yth lyqra amyr bra el ha
“A son honors his father, and a servant his master. If I am a father, then where is my honor? And if I am a master, where is the respect due me?” says Yahweh of Armies to you priests who despise my name. “You say, ‘How have we despised your name?’

מקרבין אתון על מדבחי קרבן מרחק ואם תימרון במא מרחק בדאתון אמרין פתורא דיי בסיר הוא:
hwa bsyr dyy pthwra amryn bdathwn mrkhq bma thymrwn wam mrkhq qrbn mdbkhy el athwn mqrbyn
You offer polluted bread on my altar. You say, ‘How have we polluted you?’ In that you say, ‘Yahweh’s table is contemptible.’

ודאתון מקרבין דעויר לדבחא הלא ביש ודאתון מקרבין דחגיר ודמריע הלא ביש קריבוהי כען לשלטונך דעלך היתרעי בך או היסב אפך אמר יי צבאות:
tsbawth yy amr apk hysb aw bk hythrey delk lshlTwnk ken qrybwhy bysh hla wdmrye dkhgyr mqrbyn wdathwn bysh hla ldbkha dewyr mqrbyn wdathwn
When you offer the blind for sacrifice, isn’t that evil? And when you offer the lame and sick, isn’t that evil? Present it now to your governor! Will he be pleased with you? Or will he accept your person?” says Yahweh of Armies.

וכען צלו כען קדם אלהא ויקבל צלותנא מידכון הוה דא היתנסבון לכון אפין אמר יי צבאות:
tsbawth yy amr apyn lkwn hythnsbwn da hwh mydkwn tslwthna wyqbl alha qdm ken tslw wken
“Now, please entreat the favor of God, that he may be gracious to us. With this, will he accept any of you?” says Yahweh of Armies.

מן אף הכא בכון ויגוף דשי בית מקדשי ולא תקרבון על מדבחי קרבן מרחק לא רעוא קדמי בכון אמר יי צבאות וקורבן לרעוא לא אקבל מידכון:
mydkwn aqbl la lrewa wqwrbn tsbawth yy amr bkwn qdmy rewa la mrkhq qrbn mdbkhy el thqrbwn wla mqdshy byth dshy wygwp bkwn hka ap mn
“Oh that there were one among you who would shut the doors, that you might not kindle fire on my altar in vain! I have no pleasure in you,” says Yahweh of Armies, “neither will I accept an offering at your hand.

ארי ממדנח שמשא ועד מעליה רב שמי ביני עממיא ובכל עדן דאתון עבדין רעותי אנא אקבל צלותכון ושמי רבא מתקדש על ידיכון וצלותכון כקורבן דכי קדמי ארי רב שמי ביני עממיא אמר יי צבאות:
tsbawth yy amr emmya byny shmy rb ary qdmy dky kqwrbn wtslwthkwn ydykwn el mthqdsh rba wshmy tslwthkwn aqbl ana rewthy ebdyn dathwn edn wbkl emmya byny shmy rb melyh wed shmsha mmdnkh ary
For from the rising of the sun even to its going down, my name is great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to my name, and a pure offering; for my name is great among the nations,” says Yahweh of Armies.

ואתון מחללין יתיה בדאתון אמרין פתורא דיי בסיר הוא ובסירן מתנתא מניה:
mnyh mthntha wbsyrn hwa bsyr dyy pthwra amryn bdathwn ythyh mkhllyn wathwn
“But you profane it when you say, ‘Yahweh’s table is polluted, and its fruit, even its food, is contemptible.’

ואם תימרון הא דאיתינא מלאותנא ושניקתון יתיה אמר יי צבאות ומיתן אתון דאניס ודחגיר ודמריע ומיתן אתון ליה בקורבנא האקבל יתיה ברעוא מידכון אמר יי:
yy amr mydkwn brewa ythyh haqbl bqwrbna lyh athwn wmythn wdmrye wdkhgyr danys athwn wmythn tsbawth yy amr ythyh wshnyqthwn mlawthna daythyna ha thymrwn wam
You say also, ‘Behold, what a weariness it is!’ And you have sniffed at it”, says Yahweh of Armies; “and you have brought that which was taken by violence, the lame, and the sick; thus you bring the offering. Should I accept this at your hand?” says Yahweh.

וליט דיעביד בנכיל ואית בעדריה דכר והוא חיב לנדר ודבח דמחבל קדם יי ארי מלך רב אנא אמר יי צבאות ושמי חסין בעממיא:
bemmya khsyn wshmy tsbawth yy amr ana rb mlk ary yy qdm dmkhbl wdbkh lndr khyb whwa dkr bedryh wayth bnkyl dyebyd wlyT
“But the deceiver is cursed who has in his flock a male, and vows and sacrifices to the Lord a defective thing; for I am a great King,” says Yahweh of Armies, “and my name is awesome among the nations.”
