The whole company of them rose up and brought him before Pilate.

ܘܫܪܝܘ ܐܟܠܝܢ ܩܪܨܘܗܝ ܘܐܡܪܝܢ ܠܗܢܐ ܐܫܟܚܢ ܕܡܛܥܐ ܥܡܢ ܘܟܠܐ ܕܟܣܦ ܪܫܐ ܠܩܣܪ ܠܐ ܢܬܠ ܘܐܡܪ ܥܠ ܢܦܫܗ ܕܡܠܟܐ ܗܘ ܡܫܝܚܐ

They began to accuse him, saying, “We found this man perverting the nation, forbidding paying taxes to Caesar, and saying that he himself is Christ, a king.”

ܦܝܠܛܘܣ ܕܝܢ ܫܐܠܗ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܐܢܬ ܗܘ ܡܠܟܐ ܕܝܗܘܕܝܐ ܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܐܢܬ ܐܡܪܬ

Pilate asked him, “Are you the King of the Jews?”
He answered him,
“So you say.”

ܘܐܡܪ ܦܝܠܛܘܣ ܠܪܒܝ ܟܗܢܐ ܘܠܟܢܫܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܕܡ ܥܠܬܐ ܠܐ ܡܫܟܚ ܐܢܐ ܥܠ ܓܒܪܐ ܗܢܐ

Pilate said to the chief priests and the multitudes, “I find no basis for a charge against this man.”

ܗܢܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܡܙܥܩܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܘܐܡܪܝܢ ܕܫܓܫܗ ܠܥܡܢ ܟܕ ܡܠܦ ܒܟܠܗ ܝܗܘܕ ܘܫܪܝ ܡܢ ܓܠܝܠܐ ܘܥܕܡܐ ܠܗܪܟܐ
hnwn dyn mzeqyn hww w'mryn dshgshh lemn kd mlp bklh yhwd wshry mn glyl' wedm' lhrk'
But they insisted, saying, “He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee even to this place.”

ܦܝܠܛܘܣ ܕܝܢ ܟܕ ܫܡܥ ܫܡܐ ܕܓܠܝܠܐ ܫܐܠ ܕܐܢ ܓܒܪܐ ܗܘ ܓܠܝܠܝܐ

But when Pilate heard Galilee mentioned, he asked if the man was a Galilean.

ܘܟܕ ܝܕܥ ܕܡܢ ܬܚܝܬ ܫܘܠܛܢܐ ܗܘ ܕܗܪܘܕܣ ܫܕܪܗ ܠܘܬܗ ܕܗܪܘܕܣ ܡܛܠ ܕܒܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܗܘܐ ܒܗܢܘܢ ܝܘܡܬܐ

When he found out that he was in Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who was also in Jerusalem during those days.

Now when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceedingly glad, for he had wanted to see him for a long time, because he had heard many things about him. He hoped to see some miracle done by him.

ܘܡܠܐ ܣܓܝܐܬܐ ܡܫܐܠ ܗܘܐ ܠܗ ܝܫܘܥ ܕܝܢ ܡܕܡ ܦܬܓܡܐ ܠܐ ܐܬܝܒܗ

He questioned him with many words, but he gave no answers.

ܩܝܡܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܕܝܢ ܪܒܝ ܟܗܢܐ ܘܣܦܪܐ ܘܥܙܝܙܐܝܬ ܐܟܠܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܩܪܨܘܗܝ

The chief priests and the scribes stood, vehemently accusing him.

ܗܪܘܕܣ ܕܝܢ ܫܛܗ ܗܘ ܘܦܠܚܘܗܝ ܘܟܕ ܡܒܙܚ ܐܠܒܫܗ ܢܚܬܐ ܕܙܚܘܪܝܬܐ ܘܫܕܪܗ ܠܘܬ ܦܝܠܛܘܣ
hrwds dyn shTh hw wplkhwhy wkd mbzkh 'lbshh nkhth' dzkhwryth' wshdrh lwth pylTws
Herod with his soldiers humiliated him and mocked him. Dressing him in luxurious clothing, they sent him back to Pilate.

ܘܒܗܘ ܝܘܡܐ ܗܘܘ ܪܚܡܐ ܦܝܠܛܘܣ ܘܗܪܘܕܣ ܥܡ ܚܕܕܐ ܒܥܠܕܒܒܘܬܐ ܗܘܬ ܓܝܪ ܡܢ ܩܕܝܡ ܒܝܢܬܗܘܢ

Herod and Pilate became friends with each other that very day, for before that they were enemies with each other.

Pilate called together the chief priests, the rulers, and the people,

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܩܪܒܬܘܢ ܠܝ ܓܒܪܐ ܗܢܐ ܐܝܟ ܡܗܦܟ ܥܡܟܘܢ ܘܗܐ ܐܢܐ ܥܩܒܬܗ ܠܥܢܝܟܘܢ ܘܥܠܬܐ ܡܕܡ ܠܐ ܐܫܟܚܬ ܒܓܒܪܐ ܗܢܐ ܡܢ ܟܠ ܕܡܪܫܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܒܗ

and said to them, “You brought this man to me as one that perverts the people, and behold, having examined him before you, I found no basis for a charge against this man concerning those things of which you accuse him.

ܐܠܐ ܐܦܠܐ ܗܪܘܕܣ ܫܕܪܬܗ ܓܝܪ ܠܘܬܗ ܘܗܐ ܠܐ ܡܕܡ ܕܫܘܐ ܠܡܘܬܐ ܣܥܝܪ ܠܗ

Neither has Herod, for I sent you to him, and see, nothing worthy of death has been done by him.

ܐܪܕܝܘܗܝ ܗܟܝܠ ܘܐܫܒܩܝܘܗܝ
'rdywhy hkyl w'shbqywhy
I will therefore chastise him and release him.”

ܥܝܕܐ ܓܝܪ ܐܝܬ ܗܘܐ ܕܢܫܪܐ ܠܗܘܢ ܚܕ ܒܥܕܥܕܐ
eyd' gyr 'yth hw' dnshr' lhwn khd beded'
Now he had to release one prisoner to them at the feast.

ܩܥܘ ܕܝܢ ܟܠܗ ܟܢܫܐ ܘܐܡܪܝܢ ܫܩܘܠܝܗܝ ܠܗܢܐ ܘܫܪܝ ܠܢ ܠܒܪ-ܐܒܐ

But they all cried out together, saying, “Away with this man! Release to us Barabbas!”—

ܗܘ ܐܝܢܐ ܕܡܛܠ ܐܣܛܣܝܣ ܕܗܘܬ ܒܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܘܩܛܠܐ ܪܡܐ ܗܘܐ ܒܝܬ ܐܣܝܪܐ
hw 'yn' dmTl 'sTsys dhwth bmdynth' wqTl' rm' hw' byth 'syr'
one who was thrown into prison for a certain revolt in the city, and for murder.

ܬܘܒ ܕܝܢ ܡܠܠ ܥܡܗܘܢ ܦܝܠܛܘܣ ܟܕ ܨܒܐ ܕܢܫܪܐ ܠܝܫܘܥ

Then Pilate spoke to them again, wanting to release Jesus,

ܗܢܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܩܥܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܘܐܡܪܝܢ ܙܩܘܦܝܗܝ ܙܩܘܦܝܗܝ
hnwn dyn qeyn hww w'mryn zqwpyhy zqwpyhy
but they shouted, saying, “Crucify! Crucify him!”

ܗܘ ܕܝܢ ܕܬܠܬ ܙܒܢܝܢ ܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܡܢܐ ܓܝܪ ܕܒܝܫ ܥܒܕ ܗܢܐ ܡܕܡ ܥܠܬܐ ܕܫܘܝܐ ܠܡܘܬܐ ܠܐ ܐܫܟܚܬ ܒܗ ܐܪܕܝܘܗܝ ܗܟܝܠ ܘܐܫܒܩܝܘܗܝ
hw dyn dthlth zbnyn 'mr lhwn mn' gyr dbysh ebd hn' mdm elth' dshwy' lmwth' l' 'shkkhth bh 'rdywhy hkyl w'shbqywhy
He said to them the third time, “Why? What evil has this man done? I have found no capital crime in him. I will therefore chastise him and release him.”

ܗܢܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܬܟܒܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܒܩܠܐ ܪܡܐ ܘܫܐܠܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܠܗ ܕܢܙܩܦܘܢܝܗܝ ܘܥܫܢ ܗܘܐ ܩܠܗܘܢ ܕܝܠܗܘܢ ܘܕܪܒܝ ܟܗܢܐ
hnwn dyn thkbyn hww bql' rm' wsh'lyn hww lh dnzqpwnyhy weshn hw' qlhwn dylhwn wdrby khn'
But they were urgent with loud voices, asking that he might be crucified. Their voices and the voices of the chief priests prevailed.

ܦܝܠܛܘܣ ܕܝܢ ܦܩܕ ܕܬܗܘܐ ܫܐܠܬܗܘܢ

Pilate decreed that what they asked for should be done.

ܘܫܪܐ ܠܗܘܢ ܠܗܘ ܕܡܛܠ ܐܣܛܣܝܣ ܘܩܛܠܐ ܪܡܐ ܗܘܐ ܒܝܬ ܐܣܝܪܐ ܗܘ ܕܫܐܠܘ ܠܝܫܘܥ ܕܝܢ ܐܫܠܡ ܠܨܒܝܢܗܘܢ
wshr' lhwn lhw dmTl 'sTsys wqTl' rm' hw' byth 'syr' hw dsh'lw lyshwe dyn 'shlm ltsbynhwn
He released him who had been thrown into prison for insurrection and murder, for whom they asked, but he delivered Jesus up to their will.

ܘܟܕ ܡܘܒܠܝܢ ܠܗ ܐܚܕܘ ܠܫܡܥܘܢ ܩܘܪܝܢܝܐ ܕܐܬܐ ܡܢ ܩܪܝܬܐ ܘܣܡܘ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܙܩܝܦܐ ܕܢܛܥܢ ܒܬܪܗ ܕܝܫܘܥ
wkd mwblyn lh 'khdw lshmewn qwryny' d'th' mn qryth' wsmw elwhy zqyp' dnTen bthrh dyshwe
When they led him away, they grabbed one Simon of Cyrene, coming from the country, and laid on him the cross, to carry it after Jesus.

ܘܐܬܐ ܗܘܐ ܒܬܪܗ ܣܘܓܐܐ ܕܥܡܐ ܘܢܫܐ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܡܪܩܕܢ ܗܘܝ ܘܐܠܝܢ ܥܠܘܗܝ
w'th' hw' bthrh swg'' dem' wnsh' 'ylyn dmrqdn hwy w'lyn elwhy
A great multitude of the people followed him, including women who also mourned and lamented him.

ܘܐܬܦܢܝ ܝܫܘܥ ܠܘܬܗܝܢ ܘܐܡܪ ܒܢܬ ܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܠܐ ܬܒܟܝܢ ܥܠܝ ܒܪܡ ܥܠ ܢܦܫܟܝܢ ܒܟܝܝܢ ܘܥܠ ܒܢܝܟܝܢ
w'thpny yshwe lwthhyn w'mr bnth 'wrshlm l' thbkyn ely brm el npshkyn bkyyn wel bnykyn
But Jesus, turning to them, said,
“Daughters of Jerusalem, don’t weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.

ܕܗܐ ܐܬܝܢ ܝܘܡܬܐ ܕܒܗܘܢ ܢܐܡܪܘܢ ܛܘܒܝܗܝܢ ܠܥܩܪܬܐ ܘܠܟܪܣܬܐ ܕܠܐ ܝܠܕ ܘܠܬܕܝܐ ܕܠܐ ܐܝܢܩܘ
dh' 'thyn ywmth' dbhwn n'mrwn Twbyhyn leqrth' wlkrsth' dl' yld wlthdy' dl' 'ynqw
For behold, the days are coming in which they will say, ‘Blessed are the barren, the wombs that never bore, and the breasts that never nursed.’

ܗܝܕܝܢ ܬܫܪܘܢ ܠܡܐܡܪ ܠܛܘܪܐ ܕܦܠܘ ܥܠܝܢ ܘܠܪܡܬܐ ܕܟܣܝܢܢ
hydyn thshrwn lm'mr lTwr' dplw elyn wlrmth' dksynn
Then they will begin to tell the mountains, ‘Fall on us!’ and tell the hills, ‘Cover us.’

ܕܐܢ ܒܩܝܣܐ ܪܛܝܒܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܥܒܕܝܢ ܒܝܒܝܫܐ ܡܢܐ ܢܗܘܐ

For if they do these things in the green tree, what will be done in the dry?”

ܘܐܬܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܥܡܗ ܬܪܝܢ ܐܚܪܢܝܢ ܥܒܕܝ ܒܝܫܬܐ ܕܢܬܩܛܠܘܢ

There were also others, two criminals, led with him to be put to death.

ܘܟܕ ܐܬܘ ܠܕܘܟܬܐ ܚܕܐ ܕܡܬܩܪܝܐ ܩܪܩܦܬܐ ܙܩܦܘܗܝ ܬܡܢ ܘܠܗܢܘܢ ܥܒܕܝ ܒܝܫܬܐ ܚܕ ܡܢ ܝܡܝܢܗ ܘܚܕ ܡܢ ܣܡܠܗ

When they came to the place that is called The Skull, they crucified him there with the criminals, one on the right and the other on the left.

ܗܘ ܕܝܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܐܡܪ ܗܘܐ ܐܒܐ ܫܒܘܩ ܠܗܘܢ ܠܐ ܓܝܪ ܝܕܥܝܢ ܡܢܐ ܥܒܕܝܢ ܘܦܠܓܘ ܢܚܬܘܗܝ ܘܐܪܡܝܘ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܦܣܐ
hw dyn yshwe 'mr hw' 'b' shbwq lhwn l' gyr ydeyn mn' ebdyn wplgw nkhthwhy w'rmyw elyhwn ps'
Jesus said,
“Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.”
Dividing his garments among them, they cast lots.

ܩܐܡ ܗܘܐ ܕܝܢ ܥܡܐ ܘܚܙܐ ܘܡܡܝܩܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܒܗ ܐܦ ܐܪܟܘܢܐ ܘܐܡܪܝܢ ܠܐܚܪܢܐ ܐܚܝ ܢܚܐ ܢܦܫܗ ܐܢ ܗܘܝܘ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܓܒܝܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ
q'm hw' dyn em' wkhz' wmmyqyn hww bh 'p 'rkwn' w'mryn l'khrn' 'khy nkh' npshh 'n hwyw mshykh' gbyh d'lh'
The people stood watching. The rulers with them also scoffed at him, saying, “He saved others. Let him save himself, if this is the Christ of God, his chosen one!”

ܘܡܒܙܚܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܒܗ ܐܦ ܐܣܛܪܛܝܘܛܐ ܟܕ ܩܪܒܝܢ ܠܘܬܗ ܘܡܩܪܒܝܢ ܠܗ ܚܠܐ
wmbzkhyn hww bh 'p 'sTrTywT' kd qrbyn lwthh wmqrbyn lh khl'
The soldiers also mocked him, coming to him and offering him vinegar,

ܘܐܡܪܝܢ ܠܗ ܐܢ ܐܢܬ ܗܘ ܡܠܟܐ ܕܝܗܘܕܝܐ ܐܚܐ ܢܦܫܟ

and saying, “If you are the King of the Jews, save yourself!”

ܐܝܬ ܗܘܐ ܕܝܢ ܐܦ ܟܬܒܐ ܕܟܬܝܒ ܠܥܠ ܡܢܗ ܝܘܢܐܝܬ ܘܪܗܘܡܐܝܬ ܘܥܒܪܐܝܬ ܗܢܘ ܡܠܟܐ ܕܝܗܘܕܝܐ
'yth hw' dyn 'p kthb' dkthyb lel mnh ywn'yth wrhwm'yth webr'yth hnw mlk' dyhwdy'
An inscription was also written over him in letters of Greek, Latin, and Hebrew: “THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.”

ܚܕ ܕܝܢ ܡܢ ܗܢܘܢ ܥܒܕܝ ܒܝܫܬܐ ܕܨܠܝܒܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܥܡܗ ܡܓܕܦ ܗܘܐ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܘܐܡܪ ܐܢ ܐܢܬ ܗܘ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܦܨܐ ܢܦܫܟ ܘܦܨܐ ܐܦ ܠܢ
khd dyn mn hnwn ebdy byshth' dtslybyn hww emh mgdp hw' elwhy w'mr 'n 'nth hw mshykh' pts' npshk wpts' 'p ln
One of the criminals who was hanged insulted him, saying, “If you are the Christ, save yourself and us!”

ܘܟܐܐ ܒܗ ܚܒܪܗ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܐܦ ܠܐ ܡܢ ܐܠܗܐ ܕܚܠ ܐܢܬ ܕܐܦ ܐܢܬ ܒܗ ܐܢܬ ܒܕܝܢܐ
wk'' bh khbrh w'mr lh 'p l' mn 'lh' dkhl 'nth d'p 'nth bh 'nth bdyn'
But the other answered, and rebuking him said, “Don’t you even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation?

ܘܚܢܢ ܟܐܢܐܝܬ ܐܝܟ ܕܫܘܝܢ ܗܘܝܢ ܓܝܪ ܘܐܝܟ ܕܥܒܕܢ ܐܬܦܪܥܢ ܗܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܡܕܡ ܕܣܢܐ ܠܐ ܥܒܝܕ ܠܗ
wkhnn k'n'yth 'yk dshwyn hwyn gyr w'yk debdn 'thpren hn' dyn mdm dsn' l' ebyd lh
And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward for our deeds, but this man has done nothing wrong.”

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܝܫܘܥ ܐܬܕܟܪܝܢܝ ܡܪܝ ܡܐ ܕܐܬܐ ܐܢܬ ܒܡܠܟܘܬܟ
w'mr lyshwe 'thdkryny mry m' d'th' 'nth bmlkwthk
He said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when you come into your Kingdom.”

ܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܝܫܘܥ ܐܡܝܢ ܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܠܟ ܕܝܘܡܢܐ ܥܡܝ ܬܗܘܐ ܒܦܪܕܝܣܐ
'mr lh yshwe 'myn 'mr 'n' lk dywmn' emy thhw' bprdys'
Jesus said to him,
“Assuredly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”

ܐܝܬ ܗܘܝ ܕܝܢ ܐܝܟ ܫܥܐ ܫܬ ܘܗܘܐ ܚܫܘܟܐ ܥܠ ܟܠܗ ܐܪܥܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܬܫܥ ܫܥܝܢ

It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour.

ܘܫܡܫܐ ܚܫܟ ܘܐܨܛܪܝ ܐܦܝ ܬܪܥܐ ܕܗܝܟܠܐ ܡܢ ܡܨܥܬܗ

The sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two.

ܘܩܥܐ ܝܫܘܥ ܒܩܠܐ ܪܡܐ ܘܐܡܪ ܐܒܝ ܒܐܝܕܝܟ ܣܐܡ ܐܢܐ ܪܘܚܝ ܗܕܐ ܐܡܪ ܘܫܠܡ
wqe' yshwe bql' rm' w'mr 'by b'ydyk s'm 'n' rwkhy hd' 'mr wshlm
Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said,
“Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” Having said this, he breathed his last.

When the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, “Certainly this was a righteous man.”

ܘܟܠܗܘܢ ܟܢܫܐ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܟܢܝܫܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܠܚܙܬܐ ܗܕܐ ܟܕ ܚܙܘ ܡܕܡ ܕܗܘܐ ܗܦܟܘ ܟܕ ܛܪܦܝܢ ܥܠ ܚܕܝܗܘܢ

All the multitudes that came together to see this, when they saw the things that were done, returned home beating their breasts.

ܘܩܝܡܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܡܢ ܪܘܚܩܐ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܝܕܘܥܘܗܝ ܕܝܫܘܥ ܘܢܫܐ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܐܬܝ ܗܘܝ ܥܡܗ ܡܢ ܓܠܝܠܐ ܘܚܙܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܗܠܝܢ
wqymyn hww mn rwkhq' klhwn ydwewhy dyshwe wnsh' 'ylyn d'thy hwy emh mn glyl' wkhzyn hww hlyn
All his acquaintances, and the women who followed with him from Galilee, stood at a distance, watching these things.

ܓܒܪܐ ܕܝܢ ܚܕ ܕܫܡܗ ܝܘܣܦ ܒܘܠܘܛܐ ܡܢ ܪܡܬܐ ܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܕܝܗܘܕ ܓܒܪܐ ܗܘܐ ܛܒܐ ܘܙܕܝܩܐ

Behold, a man named Joseph, who was a member of the council, a good and righteous man

ܗܢܐ ܠܐ ܫܠܡ ܗܘܐ ܠܨܒܝܢܗܘܢ ܘܠܣܘܥܪܢܗܘܢ ܘܡܣܟܐ ܗܘܐ ܠܡܠܟܘܬܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ
hn' l' shlm hw' ltsbynhwn wlswernhwn wmsk' hw' lmlkwth' d'lh'
(he had not consented to their counsel and deed), from Arimathaea, a city of the Jews, who was also waiting for God’s Kingdom:

ܗܢܐ ܩܪܒ ܠܘܬ ܦܝܠܛܘܣ ܘܫܐܠ ܦܓܪܗ ܕܝܫܘܥ

this man went to Pilate, and asked for Jesus’ body.

ܘܐܚܬܗ ܘܟܪܟܗ ܒܚܝܨܐ ܕܟܬܢܐ ܘܣܡܗ ܒܒܝܬ ܩܒܘܪܐ ܢܩܝܪܐ ܗܘ ܕܠܐ ܐܢܫ ܥܕܟܝܠ ܐܬܬܣܝܡ ܗܘܐ ܒܗ
w'khthh wkrkh bkhyts' dkthn' wsmh bbyth qbwr' nqyr' hw dl' 'nsh edkyl 'ththsym hw' bh
He took it down, and wrapped it in a linen cloth, and laid him in a tomb that was cut in stone, where no one had ever been laid.

ܘܝܘܡܐ ܥܪܘܒܬܐ ܗܘܬ ܘܫܒܬܐ ܢܓܗܐ ܗܘܬ

It was the day of the Preparation, and the Sabbath was drawing near.

ܩܪܝܒܢ ܗܘܝ ܕܝܢ ܢܫܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܕܐܬܝ ܥܡܗ ܡܢ ܓܠܝܠܐ ܘܚܙܝܝܗܝ ܠܩܒܪܐ ܘܐܝܟܢܐ ܐܬܬܣܝܡ ܦܓܪܗ
qrybn hwy dyn nsh' hlyn d'thy emh mn glyl' wkhzyyhy lqbr' w'ykn' 'ththsym pgrh
The women, who had come with him out of Galilee, followed after, and saw the tomb, and how his body was laid.

ܘܗܦܟ ܛܝܒ ܗܪܘܡܐ ܘܒܣܡܐ ܘܒܫܒܬܐ ܫܠܝ ܐܝܟ ܕܦܩܝܕ

They returned, and prepared spices and ointments. On the Sabbath they rested according to the commandment.
