מלל עם בני ישראל למימר אנש ארי יחוב בשלו מכל פקודיא דיי די לא כשרין לאתעבדא ויעבד מן חד מנהון:

“Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘If anyone sins unintentionally, in any of the things which Yahweh has commanded not to be done, and does any one of them,

אם כהנא רבא יחוב לחובת עמא ויקרב על חובתיה די חב תור בר תורי שלים קדם יי לחטאתא:
am khna rba ykhwb lkhwbth ema wyqrb el khwbthyh dy khb thwr br thwry shlym qdm yy lkhTatha
if the anointed priest sins so as to bring guilt on the people, then let him offer for his sin which he has sinned a young bull without defect to Yahweh for a sin offering.

וייתי ית תורא לתרע משכן זמנא לקדם יי ויסמוך ית ידיה על ריש תורא ויכוס ית תורא קדם יי:
wyythy yth thwra lthre mshkn zmna lqdm yy wysmwk yth ydyh el rysh thwra wykws yth thwra qdm yy
He shall bring the bull to the door of the Tent of Meeting before Yahweh; and he shall lay his hand on the head of the bull, and kill the bull before Yahweh.

ויסב כהנא רבא מדמא דתורא ויעל יתיה למשכן זמנא:
wysb khna rba mdma dthwra wyel ythyh lmshkn zmna
The anointed priest shall take some of the blood of the bull, and bring it to the Tent of Meeting.

ויטבול כהנא ית אצבעיה בדמא וידי מן דמא שבע זמנין קדם יי קדם פרוכתא דקודשא:
wyTbwl khna yth atsbeyh bdma wydy mn dma shbe zmnyn qdm yy qdm prwktha dqwdsha
The priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle some of the blood seven times before Yahweh, before the veil of the sanctuary.

ויתן כהנא מן דמא על קרנת מדבח דקטורת בוסמיא קדם יי די במשכן זמנא וית כל דמא דתורא ישוד ליסודא דמדבחא דעלתא די בתרע משכן זמנא:
wythn khna mn dma el qrnth mdbkh dqTwrth bwsmya qdm yy dy bmshkn zmna wyth kl dma dthwra yshwd lyswda dmdbkha deltha dy bthre mshkn zmna
The priest shall put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of sweet incense before Yahweh, which is in the Tent of Meeting; and he shall pour out the rest of the blood of the bull at the base of the altar of burnt offering, which is at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

וית כל תרב תורא דחטאתא יפרש מניה ית תרבא דחפי על גוא וית כל תרבא די על גוא:
wyth kl thrb thwra dkhTatha yprsh mnyh yth thrba dkhpy el gwa wyth kl thrba dy el gwa
He shall take all the fat of the bull of the sin offering from it: the fat that covers the innards, and all the fat that is on the innards,

וית תרתין כלין וית תרבא די עליהון די על גססיא וית חצרא דעל כבדא על כליתא יעדנה:
wyth thrthyn klyn wyth thrba dy elyhwn dy el gssya wyth khtsra del kbda el klytha yednh
and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, he shall remove,

כמא די מתפרש מתור נכסת קודשיא ויסקנון כהנא על מדבחא דעלתא:
kma dy mthprsh mthwr nksth qwdshya wysqnwn khna el mdbkha deltha
as it is removed from the bull of the sacrifice of peace offerings. The priest shall burn them on the altar of burnt offering.

וית משך תורא וית כל בסריה על רישיה ועל כרעוהי וגויה ואוכליה:
wyth mshk thwra wyth kl bsryh el ryshyh wel krewhy wgwyh wawklyh
He shall carry the bull’s skin, all its meat, with its head, and with its legs, its innards, and its dung

ויפק ית כל תורא מברא למשריתא לאתר דכי לאתר בית מישד קטמא ויוקיד יתיה על אעיא באשתא על אתר בית מישד קטמא יתוקד:
wypq yth kl thwra mbra lmshrytha lathr dky lathr byth myshd qTma wywqyd ythyh el aeya bashtha el athr byth myshd qTma ythwqd
—all the rest of the bull—outside of the camp to a clean place where the ashes are poured out, and burn it on wood with fire. It shall be burned where the ashes are poured out.

ואם כל כנשתא דישראל ישתלון ויהי מכסא פתגמא מעיני קהלא ויעבדון חד מכל פקודיא דיי די לא כשרין לאתעבדא ויחובון:
wam kl knshtha dyshral yshthlwn wyhy mksa pthgma meyny qhla wyebdwn khd mkl pqwdya dyy dy la kshryn lathebda wykhwbwn
“‘If the whole congregation of Israel sins, and the thing is hidden from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done any of the things which Yahweh has commanded not to be done, and are guilty;

ותתידע חובתא די חבו עלה ויקרבון קהלא תור בר תורי לחטאתא וייתון יתיה לקדם משכן זמנא:
wththyde khwbtha dy khbw elh wyqrbwn qhla thwr br thwry lkhTatha wyythwn ythyh lqdm mshkn zmna
when the sin in which they have sinned is known, then the assembly shall offer a young bull for a sin offering, and bring it before the Tent of Meeting.

ויסמכון סבי כנשתא ית ידיהון על ריש תורא קדם יי ויכוס ית תורא קדם יי:
wysmkwn sby knshtha yth ydyhwn el rysh thwra qdm yy wykws yth thwra qdm yy
The elders of the congregation shall lay their hands on the head of the bull before Yahweh; and the bull shall be killed before Yahweh.

ויעל כהנא רבא מן דמא דתורא למשכן זמנא:
wyel khna rba mn dma dthwra lmshkn zmna
The anointed priest shall bring some of the blood of the bull to the Tent of Meeting.
17
ויטבול כהנא אצבעיה מן דמא וידי שבע זמנין קדם יי קדם פרכתא:
wyTbwl khna atsbeyh mn dma wydy shbe zmnyn qdm yy qdm prktha
The priest shall dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle it seven times before Yahweh, before the veil.

ומן דמא יתן על קרנת מדבחא די קדם יי די במשכן זמנא וית כל דמא ישוד ליסודא דמדבחא דעלתא די בתרע משכן זמנא:
wmn dma ythn el qrnth mdbkha dy qdm yy dy bmshkn zmna wyth kl dma yshwd lyswda dmdbkha deltha dy bthre mshkn zmna
He shall put some of the blood on the horns of the altar which is before Yahweh, that is in the Tent of Meeting; and the rest of the blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar of burnt offering, which is at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

וית כל תרביה יפרש מניה ויסק למדבחא:
wyth kl thrbyh yprsh mnyh wysq lmdbkha
All its fat he shall take from it, and burn it on the altar.
20
ויעבד לתורא כמא די עבד לתורא דחטאתא כן יעבד ליה ויכפר עליהון כהנא וישתבק להון:
wyebd lthwra kma dy ebd lthwra dkhTatha kn yebd lyh wykpr elyhwn khna wyshthbq lhwn
He shall do this with the bull; as he did with the bull of the sin offering, so he shall do with this; and the priest shall make atonement for them, and they shall be forgiven.

ויפק ית תורא למברא למשריתא ואוקיד יתיה כמא די אוקיד ית תורא קדמאה חטאת קהלא הוא:
wypq yth thwra lmbra lmshrytha wawqyd ythyh kma dy awqyd yth thwra qdmah khTath qhla hwa
He shall carry the bull outside the camp, and burn it as he burned the first bull. It is the sin offering for the assembly.

אם רבא יחוב ויעבד חד מכל פקודיא דיי אלהיה די לא כשרין לאתעבדא בשלו ויחוב:
am rba ykhwb wyebd khd mkl pqwdya dyy alhyh dy la kshryn lathebda bshlw wykhwb
“‘When a ruler sins, and unwittingly does any one of all the things which Yahweh his God has commanded not to be done, and is guilty,

או אתידע ליה חובתיה די חב בה וייתי ית קרבניה צפיר בר עזין דכר שלים:
aw athyde lyh khwbthyh dy khb bh wyythy yth qrbnyh tspyr br ezyn dkr shlym
if his sin in which he has sinned is made known to him, he shall bring as his offering a goat, a male without defect.
24
ויסמוך ידיה על רישא דצפירא ויכוס יתיה באתר דיכוס ית עלתא לקדם יי חטאתא הוא:
wysmwk ydyh el rysha dtspyra wykws ythyh bathr dykws yth eltha lqdm yy khTatha hwa
He shall lay his hand on the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before Yahweh. It is a sin offering.
25
ויסב כהנא מדמא דחטאתא באצבעיה ויתן על קרנת מדבחא דעלתא וית דמיה ישוד ליסודא דמדבחא דעלתא:
wysb khna mdma dkhTatha batsbeyh wythn el qrnth mdbkha deltha wyth dmyh yshwd lyswda dmdbkha deltha
The priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering. He shall pour out the rest of its blood at the base of the altar of burnt offering.
26
וית כל תרביה יסק למדבחא כתרב נכסת קודשיא ויכפר עלוהי כהנא מחובתיה וישתבק ליה:
wyth kl thrbyh ysq lmdbkha kthrb nksth qwdshya wykpr elwhy khna mkhwbthyh wyshthbq lyh
All its fat he shall burn on the altar, like the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin, and he will be forgiven.
27
ואם אנש חד יחוב בשלו מעמא דארעא במעבדה חד מפקודיא דיי די לא כשרין לאתעבדא ויחוב:
wam ansh khd ykhwb bshlw mema darea bmebdh khd mpqwdya dyy dy la kshryn lathebda wykhwb
“‘If anyone of the common people sins unwittingly, in doing any of the things which Yahweh has commanded not to be done, and is guilty,

או אתידע ליה חובתיה די חב וייתי קרבניה צפירת עזין שלמתא נקובתא על חובתיה די חב:
aw athyde lyh khwbthyh dy khb wyythy qrbnyh tspyrth ezyn shlmtha nqwbtha el khwbthyh dy khb
if his sin which he has sinned is made known to him, then he shall bring for his offering a goat, a female without defect, for his sin which he has sinned.
29
ויסמוך ית ידיה על ריש חטאתא ויכוס ית חטאתא באתר דעלתא:
wysmwk yth ydyh el rysh khTatha wykws yth khTatha bathr deltha
He shall lay his hand on the head of the sin offering, and kill the sin offering in the place of burnt offering.
30
ויסב כהנא מדמה באצבעיה ויתן על קרנת מדבחא דעלתא וית כל דמה ישוד ליסודא דמדבחא:
wysb khna mdmh batsbeyh wythn el qrnth mdbkha deltha wyth kl dmh yshwd lyswda dmdbkha
The priest shall take some of its blood with his finger, and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering; and the rest of its blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar.
31
וית כל תרבה יעדי כמא די מתעדא תרב מעל נכסת קודשיא ויסק כהנא למדבחא לאתקבלא ברעוא קדם יי ויכפר עלוהי כהנא וישתבק ליה:
wyth kl thrbh yedy kma dy mtheda thrb mel nksth qwdshya wysq khna lmdbkha lathqbla brewa qdm yy wykpr elwhy khna wyshthbq lyh
All its fat he shall take away, like the fat is taken away from the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it on the altar for a pleasant aroma to Yahweh; and the priest shall make atonement for him, and he will be forgiven.
32
ואם אימר ייתי קרבניה לחטאתא נקבא שלמתא ייתנה:
wam aymr yythy qrbnyh lkhTatha nqba shlmtha yythnh
“‘If he brings a lamb as his offering for a sin offering, he shall bring a female without defect.
33
ויסמוך ית ידיה על ריש חטאתא ויכוס יתה לחטאתא באתרא די יכוס ית עלתא:
wysmwk yth ydyh el rysh khTatha wykws ythh lkhTatha bathra dy ykws yth eltha
He shall lay his hand on the head of the sin offering, and kill it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the burnt offering.
34
ויסב כהנא מדמא דחטאתא באצבעיה ויתן על קרנת מדבחא דעלתא וית כל דמה ישוד ליסודא דמדבחא:
wysb khna mdma dkhTatha batsbeyh wythn el qrnth mdbkha deltha wyth kl dmh yshwd lyswda dmdbkha
The priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering; and all the rest of its blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar.

וית כל תרבה יעדי כמא די מתעדא תרב אמרא מנכסת קודשיא ויסק כהנא יתהון למדבחא על קרבניא דיי ויכפר עלוהי כהנא על חובתיה די חב וישתבק ליה:
wyth kl thrbh yedy kma dy mtheda thrb amra mnksth qwdshya wysq khna ythhwn lmdbkha el qrbnya dyy wykpr elwhy khna el khwbthyh dy khb wyshthbq lyh
He shall remove all its fat, like the fat of the lamb is removed from the sacrifice of peace offerings. The priest shall burn them on the altar, on the offerings of Yahweh made by fire. The priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin that he has sinned, and he will be forgiven.
