מליל עם בני ישראל ותימר להון גבר ארי יפרש נדר בפרסן נפשתא קדם יי:
yy qdm npshtha bprsn ndr yprsh ary gbr lhwn wthymr yshral bny em mlyl
“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘When a man consecrates a person to Yahweh in a vow, according to your valuation,

ויהי פרסניה דכורא מבר עסרין שנין ועד בר שתין שנין ויהי פרסניה חמשין סלעין דכסף בסלעי קודשא:
qwdsha bsley dksp sleyn khmshyn prsnyh wyhy shnyn shthyn br wed shnyn esryn mbr dkwra prsnyh wyhy
your valuation of a male from twenty years old to sixty years old shall be fifty shekels of silver, according to the shekel of the sanctuary.

ואם נקובתא היא ויהי פרסניה תלתין סלעין:
sleyn thlthyn prsnyh wyhy hya nqwbtha wam
If she is a female, then your valuation shall be thirty shekels.

ואם מבר חמש שנין ועד בר עסרין שנין ויהי פרסניה דכורא עסרין סלעין ולנקובתא עסר סלעין:
sleyn esr wlnqwbtha sleyn esryn dkwra prsnyh wyhy shnyn esryn br wed shnyn khmsh mbr wam
If the person is from five years old to twenty years old, then your valuation shall be for a male twenty shekels, and for a female ten shekels.

ואם מבר ירחא ועד בר חמש שנין ויהי פרסניה דכורא חמש סלעין דכסף ולנקובתא פרסנה תלת סלעין דכסף:
dksp sleyn thlth prsnh wlnqwbtha dksp sleyn khmsh dkwra prsnyh wyhy shnyn khmsh br wed yrkha mbr wam
If the person is from a month old to five years old, then your valuation shall be for a male five shekels of silver, and for a female your valuation shall be three shekels of silver.

ואם מבר שתין שנין ולעלא אם דכורא ויהי פרסניה חמש עסרי סלעין ולנקובתא עסר סלעין:
sleyn esr wlnqwbtha sleyn esry khmsh prsnyh wyhy dkwra am wlela shnyn shthyn mbr wam
If the person is from sixty years old and upward; if he is a male, then your valuation shall be fifteen shekels, and for a female ten shekels.

ואם מסכן הוא מפרסניה ויקימניה קדם כהנא ויפרוס יתיה כהנא על מימר די תדבק ידא דנודרא יפרסניה כהנא:
khna yprsnyh dnwdra yda thdbq dy mymr el khna ythyh wyprws khna qdm wyqymnyh mprsnyh hwa mskn wam
But if he is poorer than your valuation, then he shall be set before the priest, and the priest shall assign a value to him. The priest shall assign a value according to his ability to pay.

ואם בעירא די יקרבון מנה קרבנא קדם יי כל די יתן מניה קדם יי יהי קודשא:
qwdsha yhy yy qdm mnyh ythn dy kl yy qdm qrbna mnh yqrbwn dy beyra wam
“‘If it is an animal of which men offer an offering to Yahweh, all that any man gives of such to Yahweh becomes holy.

לא יחלפניה ולא יעבר יתיה טב בביש או ביש בטב ואם חלפא יחלף בעירא בבעירא ויהי הוא וחלופיה יהי קדיש:
qdysh yhy wkhlwpyh hwa wyhy bbeyra beyra ykhlp khlpa wam bTb bysh aw bbysh Tb ythyh yebr wla ykhlpnyh la
He shall not alter it, nor exchange it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good. If he shall at all exchange animal for animal, then both it and that for which it is exchanged shall be holy.

ואם כל בעירא מסאבא די לא יקרבון מנה קרבנא קדם יי ויקים ית בעירא קדם כהנא:
khna qdm beyra yth wyqym yy qdm qrbna mnh yqrbwn la dy msaba beyra kl wam
If it is any unclean animal, of which they do not offer as an offering to Yahweh, then he shall set the animal before the priest;

ויפרוס כהנא יתה בין טב ובין ביש כפרסנא דכהנא כן יהי:
yhy kn dkhna kprsna bysh wbyn Tb byn ythh khna wyprws
and the priest shall evaluate it, whether it is good or bad. As the priest evaluates it, so it shall be.

ואם מפרק יפרקנה ויוסף חמשיה על פרסניה:
prsnyh el khmshyh wywsp yprqnh mprq wam
But if he will indeed redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of it to its valuation.
14
וגבר ארי יקדש ית ביתיה קודשא קדם יי ויפרסניה כהנא בין טב ובין ביש כמא די יפרוס יתיה כהנא כן יקום:
yqwm kn khna ythyh yprws dy kma bysh wbyn Tb byn khna wyprsnyh yy qdm qwdsha bythyh yth yqdsh ary wgbr
“‘When a man dedicates his house to be holy to Yahweh, then the priest shall evaluate it, whether it is good or bad. As the priest evaluates it, so it shall stand.

ואם דאקדש יפרוק ית ביתיה ויוסף חמש כסף פרסניה עלוהי ויהי ליה:
lyh wyhy elwhy prsnyh ksp khmsh wywsp bythyh yth yprwq daqdsh wam
If he who dedicates it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of your valuation to it, and it shall be his.

ואם מחקל אחסנתיה יקדיש גבר קדם יי ויהי פרסניה לפום זרעיה בר זרע כור שעורין בחמשין סלעין דכסף:
dksp sleyn bkhmshyn shewryn kwr zre br zreyh lpwm prsnyh wyhy yy qdm gbr yqdysh akhsnthyh mkhql wam
“‘If a man dedicates to Yahweh part of the field of his possession, then your valuation shall be according to the seed for it. The sowing of a homer of barley shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver.

אם משתא דיובלא יקדש חקליה כפרסניה יקום:
yqwm kprsnyh khqlyh yqdsh dywbla mshtha am
If he dedicates his field from the Year of Jubilee, according to your valuation it shall stand.
18
ואם בתר יובלא יקדש חקליה ויחשב ליה כהנא ית כספא על מימר שניא דאשתארן עד שתא דיובלא ויתמנע מפרסניה:
mprsnyh wythmne dywbla shtha ed dashtharn shnya mymr el kspa yth khna lyh wykhshb khqlyh yqdsh ywbla bthr wam
But if he dedicates his field after the Jubilee, then the priest shall reckon to him the money according to the years that remain to the Year of Jubilee; and an abatement shall be made from your valuation.
19
ואם מפרק יפרוק ית חקלא דאקדש יתיה ויוסף חמש כסף פרסניה עלוהי ויקום ליה:
lyh wyqwm elwhy prsnyh ksp khmsh wywsp ythyh daqdsh khqla yth yprwq mprq wam
If he who dedicated the field will indeed redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of your valuation to it, and it shall remain his.
20
ואם לא יפרוק ית חקלא ואם זבין ית חקלא לגבר אחרן לא יתפרק עוד
ewd ythprq la akhrn lgbr khqla yth zbyn wam khqla yth yprwq la wam
If he will not redeem the field, or if he has sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more;
21
ויהי חקלא במפקיה ביובלא קודשא קדם יי כחקל חרמא לכהנא תהי אחסנתיה:
akhsnthyh thhy lkhna khrma kkhql yy qdm qwdsha bywbla bmpqyh khqla wyhy
but the field, when it goes out in the Jubilee, shall be holy to Yahweh, as a devoted field. It shall be owned by the priests.

ואם ית חקל זבינוהי די לא מחקל אחסנתיה יקדש קדם יי:
yy qdm yqdsh akhsnthyh mkhql la dy zbynwhy khql yth wam
“‘If he dedicates a field to Yahweh which he has bought, which is not of the field of his possession,
23
ויחשב ליה כהנא ית מנין פרסניה עד שתא דיובלא ויתן ית פרסניה ביומא ההוא קודשא קדם יי:
yy qdm qwdsha hhwa bywma prsnyh yth wythn dywbla shtha ed prsnyh mnyn yth khna lyh wykhshb
then the priest shall reckon to him the worth of your valuation up to the Year of Jubilee; and he shall give your valuation on that day, as a holy thing to Yahweh.

בשתא דיובלא יתוב חקלא לדזבניה מניה לדדיליה אחסנת ארעא:
area akhsnth lddylyh mnyh ldzbnyh khqla ythwb dywbla bshtha
In the Year of Jubilee the field shall return to him from whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land belongs.
25
וכל פרסניה יהי בסלעי קודשא עסרין מעין יהי סלעא:
slea yhy meyn esryn qwdsha bsley yhy prsnyh wkl
All your valuations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs to the shekel.

ברם בוכרא די יתבכר קדם יי בבעירא לא יקדש גבר יתיה אם תור אם אמר דיי הוא:
hwa dyy amr am thwr am ythyh gbr yqdsh la bbeyra yy qdm ythbkr dy bwkra brm
“‘However the firstborn among animals, which belongs to Yahweh as a firstborn, no man may dedicate, whether an ox or a sheep. It is Yahweh’s.
27
ואם בבעירא מסאבא ויפרוק בפרסניה ויוסף חמשיה עלוהי ואם לא יתפרק ויזדבן בפרסניה:
bprsnyh wyzdbn ythprq la wam elwhy khmshyh wywsp bprsnyh wyprwq msaba bbeyra wam
If it is an unclean animal, then he shall buy it back according to your valuation, and shall add to it the fifth part of it; or if it isn’t redeemed, then it shall be sold according to your valuation.

ברם כל חרמא די יחרם גבר קדם יי מכל די ליה מאנשא ובעירא ומחקל אחסנתיה לא יזדבן ולא יתפרק כל חרמא קדש קודשין הוא קדם יי:
yy qdm hwa qwdshyn qdsh khrma kl ythprq wla yzdbn la akhsnthyh wmkhql wbeyra mansha lyh dy mkl yy qdm gbr ykhrm dy khrma kl brm
“‘Notwithstanding, no devoted thing that a man devotes to Yahweh of all that he has, whether of man or animal, or of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed. Everything that is permanently devoted is most holy to Yahweh.
29
כל חרמא די יתחרם מן אנשא לא יתפרק אתקטלא יתקטל:
ythqTl athqTla ythprq la ansha mn ythkhrm dy khrma kl
“‘No one devoted to destruction, who shall be devoted from among men, shall be ransomed. He shall surely be put to death.
30
וכל מעשרא דארעא מזרעא דארעא מפרי אילנא דיי הוא קודשא קדם יי:
yy qdm qwdsha hwa dyy aylna mpry darea mzrea darea meshra wkl
“‘All the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the trees, is Yahweh’s. It is holy to Yahweh.

ואם מפרק יפרוק גבר ממעשריה חמשיה יוסף עלוהי:
elwhy ywsp khmshyh mmeshryh gbr yprwq mprq wam
If a man redeems anything of his tithe, he shall add a fifth part to it.
32
וכל מעשר תורין וען כל דיעבר תחות חטרא עשיראה יהי קדיש קדם יי:
yy qdm qdysh yhy eshyrah khTra thkhwth dyebr kl wen thwryn meshr wkl
All the tithe of the herds or the flocks, whatever passes under the rod, the tenth shall be holy to Yahweh.
33
לא יבקר בין טב לביש ולא יחלפניה ואם חלפא יחלפניה ויהי הוא וחלופיה יהי קודשא לא יתפרק:
ythprq la qwdsha yhy wkhlwpyh hwa wyhy ykhlpnyh khlpa wam ykhlpnyh wla lbysh Tb byn ybqr la
He shall not examine whether it is good or bad, neither shall he exchange it. If he exchanges it at all, then both it and that for which it is exchanged shall be holy. It shall not be redeemed.’”
