“Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘You shall be holy; for I, Yahweh your God, am holy.

גבר מן אמיה ומן אבוהי תהון דחלין וית יומי שביא דילי תטרון אנא יי אלהכון:
gbr mn amyh wmn abwhy thhwn dkhlyn wyth ywmy shbya dyly thTrwn ana yy alhkwn
“‘Each one of you shall respect his mother and his father. You shall keep my Sabbaths. I am Yahweh your God.

לא תתפנון בתר טעון ודחלן דמתכא לא תעבדון לכון אנא יי אלהכון:
la ththpnwn bthr Tewn wdkhln dmthka la thebdwn lkwn ana yy alhkwn
“‘Don’t turn to idols, nor make molten gods for yourselves. I am Yahweh your God.

וארי תכסון נכסת קודשיא קדם יי לרעוא לכון תכסניה:
wary thkswn nksth qwdshya qdm yy lrewa lkwn thksnyh
“‘When you offer a sacrifice of peace offerings to Yahweh, you shall offer it so that you may be accepted.

ביומא דיתנכס יתאכל וביומא דבתרוהי ודאשתאר עד יומא תליתאה בנורא יתוקד:
bywma dythnks ythakl wbywma dbthrwhy wdashthar ed ywma thlythah bnwra ythwqd
It shall be eaten the same day you offer it, and on the next day. If anything remains until the third day, it shall be burned with fire.

ואם אתאכלא יתאכל ביומא תליתאה מרחק הוא לא יהי לרעוא:
wam athakla ythakl bywma thlythah mrkhq hwa la yhy lrewa
If it is eaten at all on the third day, it is an abomination. It will not be accepted;

ודייכלניה חוביה יקבל ארי ית קודשא דיי אחל וישתיצי אנשא ההוא מעמיה:
wdyyklnyh khwbyh yqbl ary yth qwdsha dyy akhl wyshthytsy ansha hhwa memyh
but everyone who eats it shall bear his iniquity, because he has profaned the holy thing of Yahweh, and that soul shall be cut off from his people.

ובמחצדכון ית חצדא דארעכון לא תשיצי פאתא דחקלך למחצד ולקטא דחצדך לא תלקט:
wbmkhtsdkwn yth khtsda darekwn la thshytsy patha dkhqlk lmkhtsd wlqTa dkhtsdk la thlqT
“‘When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not wholly reap the corners of your field, neither shall you gather the gleanings of your harvest.

וכרמך לא תעלל ונתרא דכרמך לא תלקט לעניי ולגיורי תשבוק יתהון אנא יי אלהכון:
wkrmk la thell wnthra dkrmk la thlqT lenyy wlgywry thshbwq ythhwn ana yy alhkwn
You shall not glean your vineyard, neither shall you gather the fallen grapes of your vineyard. You shall leave them for the poor and for the foreigner. I am Yahweh your God.

לא תגנבון ולא תכדבון ולא תשקרון אנש בחבריה:
la thgnbwn wla thkdbwn wla thshqrwn ansh bkhbryh
“‘You shall not steal. “‘You shall not lie. “‘You shall not deceive one another.

ולא תשבעון בשמי לשקרא ותחל ית שמא דאלהך אנא יי:
wla thshbewn bshmy lshqra wthkhl yth shma dalhk ana yy
“‘You shall not swear by my name falsely, and profane the name of your God. I am Yahweh.

לא תעשוק ית חברך ולא תאנס לא תבית אגרא דאגירא לותך עד צפרא:
la theshwq yth khbrk wla thans la thbyth agra dagyra lwthk ed tspra
“‘You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. “‘The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning.

לא תלוט דלא שמע וקדם דלא חזי לא תשים תקלא ותדחל מאלהך אנא יי:
la thlwT dla shme wqdm dla khzy la thshym thqla wthdkhl malhk ana yy
“‘You shall not curse the deaf, nor put a stumbling block before the blind; but you shall fear your God. I am Yahweh.

לא תעבדון שקר בדינא לא תסב אפי מסכנא ולא תהדר אפי רבא בקושטא תדיניה לחברך:
la thebdwn shqr bdyna la thsb apy mskna wla thhdr apy rba bqwshTa thdynyh lkhbrk
“‘You shall do no injustice in judgment. You shall not be partial to the poor, nor show favoritism to the great; but you shall judge your neighbor in righteousness.

לא תיכול קורצין בעמך לא תקום על דמא דחברך אנא יי:
la thykwl qwrtsyn bemk la thqwm el dma dkhbrk ana yy
“‘You shall not go around as a slanderer among your people. “‘You shall not endanger the life of your neighbor. I am Yahweh.
17
לא תשני ית אחוך בלבך אוכחא תוכח ית חברך ולא תקבל על די ליה חובא:
la thshny yth akhwk blbk awkkha thwkkh yth khbrk wla thqbl el dy lyh khwba
“‘You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him.

לא תקום ולא תטר דבבו לבני עמך ותרחם לחברך כותך אנא יי:
la thqwm wla thTr dbbw lbny emk wthrkhm lkhbrk kwthk ana yy
“‘You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people; but you shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am Yahweh.

ית קימי תטרון בעירך לא תרכב ערובין חקלך לא תזרע ערובין ולבוש ערובין שעטנזא לא יסק עלך:
yth qymy thTrwn beyrk la thrkb erwbyn khqlk la thzre erwbyn wlbwsh erwbyn sheTnza la ysq elk
“‘You shall keep my statutes. “‘You shall not cross-breed different kinds of animals. “‘You shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed; “‘Don’t wear a garment made of two kinds of material.

וגבר ארי ישכוב עם אתתא שכבת זרעא והיא אמתא אחידא לגבר ואתפרקא לא אתפריקת בכספא או חרותא לא אתיהיבת לה בשטר בקרתא תהי לא יומתון ארי לא אתחררת:

“‘If a man lies carnally with a woman who is a slave girl, pledged to be married to another man, and not ransomed or given her freedom; they shall be punished. They shall not be put to death, because she was not free.

וייתי ית אשמיה קדם יי לתרע משכן זמנא דכר לאשמא:
wyythy yth ashmyh qdm yy lthre mshkn zmna dkr lashma
He shall bring his trespass offering to Yahweh, to the door of the Tent of Meeting, even a ram for a trespass offering.
22
ויכפר עלוהי כהנא בדכרא דאשמא קדם יי על חובתיה די חב וישתבק ליה מחובתיה די חב:
wykpr elwhy khna bdkra dashma qdm yy el khwbthyh dy khb wyshthbq lyh mkhwbthyh dy khb
The priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before Yahweh for his sin which he has committed; and the sin which he has committed shall be forgiven him.

וארי תעלון לארעא ותצבון כל אלן דמיכל ותרחקון רחקא ית אביה תלת שנין יהי לכון מרחק לאבדא לא יתאכל:
wary thelwn larea wthtsbwn kl aln dmykl wthrkhqwn rkhqa yth abyh thlth shnyn yhy lkwn mrkhq labda la ythakl
“‘When you come into the land, and have planted all kinds of trees for food, then you shall count their fruit as forbidden. For three years it shall be forbidden to you. It shall not be eaten.

ובשתא רביעתא יהי כל אביה קדש תשבחן קדם יי:
wbshtha rbyetha yhy kl abyh qdsh thshbkhn qdm yy
But in the fourth year all its fruit shall be holy, for giving praise to Yahweh.
25
ובשתא חמשתא תיכלון ית אביה לאוספא לכון עללתיה אנא יי אלהכון:
wbshtha khmshtha thyklwn yth abyh lawspa lkwn ellthyh ana yy alhkwn
In the fifth year you shall eat its fruit, that it may yield its increase to you. I am Yahweh your God.

לא תיכלון על דמא לא תנחשון ולא תעונון:
la thyklwn el dma la thnkhshwn wla thewnwn
“‘You shall not eat any meat with the blood still in it. You shall not use enchantments, nor practice sorcery.
27
לא תקפון פאתא דרישכון ולא תחבל ית פאתא דדקנך:
la thqpwn patha dryshkwn wla thkhbl yth patha ddqnk
“‘You shall not cut the hair on the sides of your head or clip off the edge of your beard.
28
וחבול על מית לא תתנון בבסריכון ורושמין חריתין לא תתנון בכון אנא יי:
wkhbwl el myth la ththnwn bbsrykwn wrwshmyn khrythyn la ththnwn bkwn ana yy
“‘You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you. I am Yahweh.

לא תחל ית ברתך לאטעיותה ולא תטעי ארעא ותתמלי ארעא עצת חטאין:
la thkhl yth brthk laTeywthh wla thTey area wththmly area etsth khTayn
“‘Don’t profane your daughter, to make her a prostitute; lest the land fall to prostitution, and the land become full of wickedness.
30
ית יומי שביא דילי תטרון ולבית מקדשי תהון דחלין אנא יי:
yth ywmy shbya dyly thTrwn wlbyth mqdshy thhwn dkhlyn ana yy
“‘You shall keep my Sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary; I am Yahweh.
31
לא תתפנון בתר בדין ודכורו לא תתבעון לאסתאבא בהון אנא יי אלהכון:
la ththpnwn bthr bdyn wdkwrw la ththbewn lasthaba bhwn ana yy alhkwn
“‘Don’t turn to those who are mediums, nor to the wizards. Don’t seek them out, to be defiled by them. I am Yahweh your God.
32
מן קדם דסבר באוריתא תקום ותהדר אפי סבא ותדחל מאלהך אנא יי:
mn qdm dsbr bawrytha thqwm wthhdr apy sba wthdkhl malhk ana yy
“‘You shall rise up before the gray head and honor the face of the elderly; and you shall fear your God. I am Yahweh.

וארי יתגיר עמך גיורא בארעכון לא תונון יתיה:
wary ythgyr emk gywra barekwn la thwnwn ythyh
“‘If a stranger lives as a foreigner with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong.

כיציבא מנכון יהי לכון גיורא דיתגיר ביניכון ותרחם ליה כותך ארי דירין הויתון בארעא דמצרים אנא יי אלהכון:
kytsyba mnkwn yhy lkwn gywra dythgyr bynykwn wthrkhm lyh kwthk ary dyryn hwythwn barea dmtsrym ana yy alhkwn
The stranger who lives as a foreigner with you shall be to you as the native-born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you lived as foreigners in the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh your God.

לא תעבדון שקר בדין במשחתא במתקלא ובמכלתא:
la thebdwn shqr bdyn bmshkhtha bmthqla wbmkltha
“‘You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in measures of length, of weight, or of quantity.
36
מאזנון דקשוט מתקלן דקשוט מכילן דקשוט והינין דקשוט יהון לכון אנא יי אלהכון די אפקית יתכון מארעא דמצרים:
maznwn dqshwT mthqln dqshwT mkyln dqshwT whynyn dqshwT yhwn lkwn ana yy alhkwn dy apqyth ythkwn marea dmtsrym
You shall have just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin. I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.

ותטרון ית כל קימי וית כל דיני ותעבדון יתהון אנא יי:
wthTrwn yth kl qymy wyth kl dyny wthebdwn ythhwn ana yy
“‘You shall observe all my statutes and all my ordinances, and do them. I am Yahweh.’”
