“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘I am Yahweh your God.

כעובדי עמא דארעא דמצרים די יתבתון בה לא תעבדון וכעובדי עמא דארעא דכנען די אנא מעל יתכון תמן לא תעבדון ובנימוסיהון לא תהכון:
kewbdy ema darea dmtsrym dy ythbthwn bh la thebdwn wkewbdy ema darea dknen dy ana mel ythkwn thmn la thebdwn wbnymwsyhwn la thhkwn
You shall not do as they do in the land of Egypt, where you lived. You shall not do as they do in the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you. You shall not follow their statutes.

ית דיני תעבדון וית קימי תטרון להלכא בהון אנא יי אלהכון:
yth dyny thebdwn wyth qymy thTrwn lhlka bhwn ana yy alhkwn
You shall do my ordinances. You shall keep my statutes and walk in them. I am Yahweh your God.

ותטרון ית קימי וית דיני די יעבד יתהון אנשא ויחי בהון לחיי עלמא אנא יי:
wthTrwn yth qymy wyth dyny dy yebd ythhwn ansha wykhy bhwn lkhyy elma ana yy
You shall therefore keep my statutes and my ordinances, which if a man does, he shall live in them. I am Yahweh.

גבר גבר לכל קריב בסריה לא תקרבון לגלאה עריא אנא יי:
gbr gbr lkl qryb bsryh la thqrbwn lglah erya ana yy
“‘None of you shall approach any close relatives, to uncover their nakedness: I am Yahweh.

ערית אבוך וערית אמך לא תגלי אמך היא לא תגלי עריתה:
eryth abwk weryth amk la thgly amk hya la thgly erythh
“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father, nor the nakedness of your mother: she is your mother. You shall not uncover her nakedness.

ערית אתת אבוך לא תגלי ערית אבוך היא:
eryth athth abwk la thgly eryth abwk hya
“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s wife. It is your father’s nakedness.
9
ערית אחתך בת אבוך או בת אמך דילידא מן אבוך מן אתת אחרי או מן אמך לגבר אחרן לא תגלי עריתהן:
eryth akhthk bth abwk aw bth amk dylyda mn abwk mn athth akhry aw mn amk lgbr akhrn la thgly erythhn
“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your sister, the daughter of your father, or the daughter of your mother, whether born at home or born abroad.

ערית בת ברך או בת ברתך לא תגלי עריתהן ארי עריתך אנון:
eryth bth brk aw bth brthk la thgly erythhn ary erythk anwn
“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your son’s daughter, or of your daughter’s daughter, even their nakedness; for theirs is your own nakedness.

ערית בת אתת אבוך דילידא מן אבוך אחתך היא לא תגלי עריתה:
eryth bth athth abwk dylyda mn abwk akhthk hya la thgly erythh
“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s wife’s daughter, conceived by your father, since she is your sister.

ערית אחת אבוך לא תגלי קריבת אבוך היא:
eryth akhth abwk la thgly qrybth abwk hya
“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s sister. She is your father’s near kinswoman.
13
ערית אחת אמך לא תגלי ארי קריבת אמך היא:
eryth akhth amk la thgly ary qrybth amk hya
“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister, for she is your mother’s near kinswoman.

ערית אח אבוך לא תגלי לאתתיה לא תקרב אתת אח אבוך היא:
eryth akh abwk la thgly laththyh la thqrb athth akh abwk hya
“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s brother. You shall not approach his wife. She is your aunt.
15
ערית כלתך לא תגלי אתת ברך היא לא תגלי עריתה:
eryth klthk la thgly athth brk hya la thgly erythh
“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your daughter-in-law. She is your son’s wife. You shall not uncover her nakedness.
16
ערית אתת אחוך לא תגלי ערית אחוך היא:
eryth athth akhwk la thgly eryth akhwk hya
“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your brother’s wife. It is your brother’s nakedness.

ערית אתתא וברתה לא תגלי ית בת ברה וית בת ברתה לא תסב לגלאה עריתה קריבן אנון עצת חטאין היא:
eryth aththa wbrthh la thgly yth bth brh wyth bth brthh la thsb lglah erythh qrybn anwn etsth khTayn hya
“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter. You shall not take her son’s daughter, or her daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness. They are near kinswomen. It is wickedness.

ואתתא עם אחתה לא תסב לעקאה לגלאה עריתה עלה בחייהא:
waththa em akhthh la thsb leqah lglah erythh elh bkhyyha
“‘You shall not take a wife in addition to her sister, to be a rival, to uncover her nakedness, while her sister is still alive.
19
ולאתתא ברחוק סובתה לא תקרב לגלאה עריתה:
wlaththa brkhwq swbthh la thqrb lglah erythh
“‘You shall not approach a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is impure by her uncleanness.
20
ובאתת חברך לא תתן שכבתך לזרעא לאסתאבא בה:
wbathth khbrk la ththn shkbthk lzrea lasthaba bh
“‘You shall not lie carnally with your neighbor’s wife, and defile yourself with her.
21
ומבניך לא תתן לאעברא למולך ולא תחל ית שמא דאלהך אנא יי:
wmbnyk la ththn laebra lmwlk wla thkhl yth shma dalhk ana yy
“‘You shall not give any of your children as a sacrifice to Molech. You shall not profane the name of your God. I am Yahweh.

ועם דכורא לא תשכוב משכבי אתתא תועבתא היא:
wem dkwra la thshkwb mshkby aththa thwebtha hya
“‘You shall not lie with a man as with a woman. That is detestable.
23
ובכל בעירא לא תתן שכבתך לאסתאבא בה ואתתא לא תקום קדם בעירא למשלט בה תבלא הוא:
wbkl beyra la ththn shkbthk lasthaba bh waththa la thqwm qdm beyra lmshlT bh thbla hwa
“‘You shall not lie with any animal to defile yourself with it. No woman may give herself to an animal, to lie down with it: it is a perversion.

לא תסתאבון בכל אלין ארי בכל אלין אסתאבו עממיא די אנא מגלי מן קדמיכון:
la thsthabwn bkl alyn ary bkl alyn asthabw emmya dy ana mgly mn qdmykwn
“‘Don’t defile yourselves in any of these things; for in all these the nations which I am casting out before you were defiled.

ואסתאבת ארעא ואסערית חובה עלה ורוקינת ארעא ית יתבהא:
wasthabth area waseryth khwbh elh wrwqynth area yth ythbha
The land was defiled. Therefore I punished its iniquity, and the land vomited out her inhabitants.

ותטרון אתון ית קימי וית דיני ולא תעבדון מכל תועבתא האלין יציבא וגיורא דיתגירון ביניכון:
wthTrwn athwn yth qymy wyth dyny wla thebdwn mkl thwebtha halyn ytsyba wgywra dythgyrwn bynykwn
You therefore shall keep my statutes and my ordinances, and shall not do any of these abominations; neither the native-born, nor the stranger who lives as a foreigner among you

ארי ית כל תועבתא האלין עבדו אנשי ארעא די קדמיכון ואסתאבת ארעא:
ary yth kl thwebtha halyn ebdw anshy area dy qdmykwn wasthabth area
(for the men of the land that were before you had done all these abominations, and the land became defiled),
28
ולא תרוקן ארעא יתכון בסאביכון יתה כמא דרוקינת ית עממיא די קדמיכון:
wla thrwqn area ythkwn bsabykwn ythh kma drwqynth yth emmya dy qdmykwn
that the land not vomit you out also, when you defile it, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.

ארי כל די יעבד מכל תועבתא האלין וישתיצון נפשתא דיעבדון מגו עמהון:
ary kl dy yebd mkl thwebtha halyn wyshthytswn npshtha dyebdwn mgw emhwn
“‘For whoever shall do any of these abominations, even the souls that do them shall be cut off from among their people.

ותטרון ית מטרת מימרי בדיל דלא למעבד מנימוסי תועבתא דאתעבדא קדמיכון ולא תסתאבון בהון אנא יי אלהכון:
wthTrwn yth mTrth mymry bdyl dla lmebd mnymwsy thwebtha dathebda qdmykwn wla thsthabwn bhwn ana yy alhkwn
Therefore you shall keep my requirements, that you do not practice any of these abominable customs which were practiced before you, and that you do not defile yourselves with them. I am Yahweh your God.’”
