ומליל יי עם משה בתר דמיתו תרין בני אהרן בקרוביהון אשתא נוכריתא קדם יי ומיתו:
wmythw yy qdm nwkrytha ashtha bqrwbyhwn ahrn bny thryn dmythw bthr mshh em yy wmlyl
Yahweh spoke to Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they came near before Yahweh, and died;

ואמר יי למשה מלל עם אהרן אחוך ולא יהי עלל בכל עדן לקודשא מגיו לפרכתא לקדם כפרתא די על ארונא ולא ימות ארי בעננא אנא מתגלי על בית כפרתא:
kprtha byth el mthgly ana benna ary ymwth wla arwna el dy kprtha lqdm lprktha mgyw lqwdsha edn bkl ell yhy wla akhwk ahrn em mll lmshh yy wamr
and Yahweh said to Moses, “Tell Aaron your brother not to come at just any time into the Most Holy Place within the veil, before the mercy seat which is on the ark; lest he die; for I will appear in the cloud on the mercy seat.

בדא יהי עלל אהרן לקודשא בתור בר תורי לחטאתא ודכר לעלתא:
leltha wdkr lkhTatha thwry br bthwr lqwdsha ahrn ell yhy bda
“Aaron shall come into the sanctuary with a young bull for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering.

כתונא דבוצא קודשא ילבש ומכנסין דבוץ יהון על בסריה ובהמינא דבוצא יסר ובמצנפתא דבוצא יחת ברישיה לבושי קודשא אנון ויסחי במיא ית בסריה וילבשנון:
wylbshnwn bsryh yth bmya wyskhy anwn qwdsha lbwshy bryshyh ykhth dbwtsa wbmtsnptha ysr dbwtsa wbhmyna bsryh el yhwn dbwts wmknsyn ylbsh qwdsha dbwtsa kthwna
He shall put on the holy linen tunic. He shall have the linen trousers on his body, and shall put on the linen sash, and he shall be clothed with the linen turban. They are the holy garments. He shall bathe his body in water, and put them on.

ומין כנשתא דבני ישראל יסב תרין צפירי עזין לחטאתא ודכר חד לעלתא:
leltha khd wdkr lkhTatha ezyn tspyry thryn ysb yshral dbny knshtha wmyn
He shall take from the congregation of the children of Israel two male goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering.

ויקרב אהרן ית תורא דחטאתא די ליה ויכפר עלוהי ועל אנש ביתיה:
bythyh ansh wel elwhy wykpr lyh dy dkhTatha thwra yth ahrn wyqrb
“Aaron shall offer the bull of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make atonement for himself and for his house.

ויסב ית תרין צפירין ויקים יתהון קדם יי בתרע משכן זמנא:
zmna mshkn bthre yy qdm ythhwn wyqym tspyryn thryn yth wysb
He shall take the two goats, and set them before Yahweh at the door of the Tent of Meeting.
8
ויתן אהרן על תרין צפירין עדבין עדבא חד לשמא דיי ועדבא חד לעזאזל:
lezazl khd wedba dyy lshma khd edba edbyn tspyryn thryn el ahrn wythn
Aaron shall cast lots for the two goats: one lot for Yahweh, and the other lot for the scapegoat.

ויקרב אהרן ית צפירא די סליק עלוהי עדבא לשמא דיי ויעבדניה חטאתא:
khTatha wyebdnyh dyy lshma edba elwhy slyq dy tspyra yth ahrn wyqrb
Aaron shall present the goat on which the lot fell for Yahweh, and offer him for a sin offering.

וצפירא די סליק עלוהי עדבא לעזאזל יתקם כד חי קדם יי לכפרא עלוהי לשלח יתיה לעזאזל למדברא:
lmdbra lezazl ythyh lshlkh elwhy lkpra yy qdm khy kd ythqm lezazl edba elwhy slyq dy wtspyra
But the goat on which the lot fell for the scapegoat shall be presented alive before Yahweh, to make atonement for him, to send him away as the scapegoat into the wilderness.

ויקרב אהרן ית תורא דחטאתא די ליה ויכפר עלוהי ועל אנש ביתיה ויכוס ית תורא דחטאתא די ליה:
lyh dy dkhTatha thwra yth wykws bythyh ansh wel elwhy wykpr lyh dy dkhTatha thwra yth ahrn wyqrb
“Aaron shall present the bull of the sin offering, which is for himself, and shall make atonement for himself and for his house, and shall kill the bull of the sin offering which is for himself.

ויסב מלי מחתיתא גומרין דאשא מעלוי מדבחא מן קדם יי ומלי חפנוהי קטורת בוסמין דקיקין ויעל מגיו לפרכתא:
lprktha mgyw wyel dqyqyn bwsmyn qTwrth khpnwhy wmly yy qdm mn mdbkha melwy dasha gwmryn mkhthytha mly wysb
He shall take a censer full of coals of fire from off the altar before Yahweh, and two handfuls of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the veil.

ויתן ית קטורת בוסמיא על אשתא לקדם יי וחפי עננא קטרתא ית כפרתא די על סהדותא ולא ימות:
ymwth wla shdwtha el dy kprtha yth qTrtha enna wkhpy yy lqdm ashtha el bwsmya qTwrth yth wythn
He shall put the incense on the fire before Yahweh, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is on the covenant, so that he will not die.

ויסב מדמא דתורא וידי באצבעיה על אפי כפרתא קדומא ולקדם כפרתא ידי שבע זמנין מן דמא באצבעיה:
batsbeyh dma mn zmnyn shbe ydy kprtha wlqdm qdwma kprtha apy el batsbeyh wydy dthwra mdma wysb
He shall take some of the blood of the bull, and sprinkle it with his finger on the mercy seat on the east; and before the mercy seat he shall sprinkle some of the blood with his finger seven times.

ויכוס ית צפירא דחטאתא די לעמא ויעל ית דמיה למגיו לפרכתא ויעבד לדמיה כמא די עבד לדמא דתורא וידי יתיה על כפרתא ולקדם כפרתא:
kprtha wlqdm kprtha el ythyh wydy dthwra ldma ebd dy kma ldmyh wyebd lprktha lmgyw dmyh yth wyel lema dy dkhTatha tspyra yth wykws
“Then he shall kill the goat of the sin offering that is for the people, and bring his blood within the veil, and do with his blood as he did with the blood of the bull, and sprinkle it on the mercy seat and before the mercy seat.

ויכפר על קודשא מסואבת בני ישראל וממרדיהון לכל חטאיהון וכן יעבד למשכן זמנא דשרי עמהון בגו סואבתהון:
swabthhwn bgw emhwn dshry zmna lmshkn yebd wkn khTayhwn lkl wmmrdyhwn yshral bny mswabth qwdsha el wykpr
He shall make atonement for the Holy Place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions, even all their sins; and so he shall do for the Tent of Meeting that dwells with them in the middle of their uncleanness.
17
וכל אנש לא יהי במשכן זמנא במעליה לכפרא בקודשא עד מפקיה ויכפר עלוהי ועל אנש ביתיה ועל כל קהלא דישראל:
dyshral qhla kl wel bythyh ansh wel elwhy wykpr mpqyh ed bqwdsha lkpra bmelyh zmna bmshkn yhy la ansh wkl
No one shall be in the Tent of Meeting when he enters to make atonement in the Holy Place, until he comes out, and has made atonement for himself and for his household, and for all the assembly of Israel.

ויפוק למדבחא די קדם יי ויכפר עלוהי ויסב מדמא דתורא ומדמא דצפירא ויתן על קרנת מדבחא סחור סחור:
skhwr skhwr mdbkha qrnth el wythn dtspyra wmdma dthwra mdma wysb elwhy wykpr yy qdm dy lmdbkha wypwq
“He shall go out to the altar that is before Yahweh and make atonement for it, and shall take some of the bull’s blood, and some of the goat’s blood, and put it around on the horns of the altar.
19
וידי עלוהי מן דמא באצבעיה שבע זמנין וידכניה ויקדשניה מסואבת בני ישראל:
yshral bny mswabth wyqdshnyh wydknyh zmnyn shbe batsbeyh dma mn elwhy wydy
He shall sprinkle some of the blood on it with his finger seven times, and cleanse it, and make it holy from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.
20
וישצי מלכפרא על קודשא ועל משכן זמנא ועל מדבחא ויקרב ית צפירא חיא:
khya tspyra yth wyqrb mdbkha wel zmna mshkn wel qwdsha el mlkpra wyshtsy
“When he has finished atoning for the Holy Place, the Tent of Meeting, and the altar, he shall present the live goat.

ויסמוך אהרן ית תרתין ידוהי על ריש צפירא חיא ויודי עלוהי ית כל עוית בני ישראל וית כל מרדיהון לכל חטאיהון ויתן יתהון על ריש צפירא וישלח ביד גבר דזמין למהך למדברא:
lmdbra lmhk dzmyn gbr byd wyshlkh tspyra rysh el ythhwn wythn khTayhwn lkl mrdyhwn kl wyth yshral bny ewyth kl yth elwhy wywdy khya tspyra rysh el ydwhy thrthyn yth ahrn wysmwk
Aaron shall lay both his hands on the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions, even all their sins; and he shall put them on the head of the goat, and shall send him away into the wilderness by the hand of a man who is ready.
22
ויטול צפירא עלוהי ית כל חוביהון לארעא דלא יתבא וישלח ית צפירא במדברא:
bmdbra tspyra yth wyshlkh ythba dla larea khwbyhwn kl yth elwhy tspyra wyTwl
The goat shall carry all their iniquities on himself to a solitary land, and he shall release the goat in the wilderness.
23
וייעול אהרן למשכן זמנא וישלח ית לבושי בוצא די לבש במעליה לקודשא ויצנענון תמן:
thmn wytsnenwn lqwdsha bmelyh lbsh dy bwtsa lbwshy yth wyshlkh zmna lmshkn ahrn wyyewl
“Aaron shall come into the Tent of Meeting, and shall take off the linen garments which he put on when he went into the Holy Place, and shall leave them there.
24
ויסחי ית בסריה במיא באתר קדיש וילבש ית לבושוהי ויפוק ויעבד ית עלתיה וית עלת עמא ויכפר עלוהי ועל עמא:
ema wel elwhy wykpr ema elth wyth elthyh yth wyebd wypwq lbwshwhy yth wylbsh qdysh bathr bmya bsryh yth wyskhy
Then he shall bathe himself in water in a holy place, put on his garments, and come out and offer his burnt offering and the burnt offering of the people, and make atonement for himself and for the people.
25
וית תרבא דחטאתא יסק למדבחא:
lmdbkha ysq dkhTatha thrba wyth
The fat of the sin offering he shall burn on the altar.
26
ודמוביל ית צפירא לעזאזל יצבע לבושוהי ויסחי ית בסריה במיא ובתר כן ייעול למשריתא:
lmshrytha yyewl kn wbthr bmya bsryh yth wyskhy lbwshwhy ytsbe lezazl tspyra yth wdmwbyl
“He who lets the goat go as the scapegoat shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp.
27
וית תורא דחטאתא וית צפירא דחטאתא די אתעל מדמהון לכפרא בקודשא יתפקון למברא למשריתא ויוקדון בנורא ית משכיהון וית בסרהון וית אכליהון:
aklyhwn wyth bsrhwn wyth mshkyhwn yth bnwra wywqdwn lmshrytha lmbra ythpqwn bqwdsha lkpra mdmhwn athel dy dkhTatha tspyra wyth dkhTatha thwra wyth
The bull for the sin offering, and the goat for the sin offering, whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the Holy Place, shall be carried outside the camp; and they shall burn their skins, their flesh, and their dung with fire.
28
ודמוקיד יתהון יצבע לבושוהי ויסחי ית בסריה במיא ובתר כן ייעול למשריתא:
lmshrytha yyewl kn wbthr bmya bsryh yth wyskhy lbwshwhy ytsbe ythhwn wdmwqyd
He who burns them shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp.
29
ותהי לכון לקים עלם בירחא שביעאה בעשרא לירחא תענון ית נפשתיכון וכל עבידא לא תעבדון יציבא וגיורא דיתגירון ביניכון:
bynykwn dythgyrwn wgywra ytsyba thebdwn la ebyda wkl npshthykwn yth thenwn lyrkha beshra shbyeah byrkha elm lqym lkwn wthhy
“It shall be a statute to you forever: in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall afflict your souls, and shall do no kind of work, whether native-born or a stranger who lives as a foreigner among you;
30
ארי ביומא הדין יכפר עליכון לדכאה יתכון מכל חוביכון קדם יי תדכון:
thdkwn yy qdm khwbykwn mkl ythkwn ldkah elykwn ykpr hdyn bywma ary
for on this day shall atonement be made for you, to cleanse you. You shall be clean from all your sins before Yahweh.
31
שבת שבתא היא לכון ותענון ית נפשתיכון קים עלם:
elm qym npshthykwn yth wthenwn lkwn hya shbtha shbth
It is a Sabbath of solemn rest to you, and you shall afflict your souls. It is a statute forever.
32
ויכפר כהנא די רבי יתיה ודי יקרב ית קרבניה לשמשא תחות אבוהי וילבש ית לבושי בוצא לבושי קודשא:
qwdsha lbwshy bwtsa lbwshy yth wylbsh abwhy thkhwth lshmsha qrbnyh yth yqrb wdy ythyh rby dy khna wykpr
The priest, who is anointed and who is consecrated to be priest in his father’s place, shall make the atonement, and shall put on the linen garments, even the holy garments.
33
ויכפר על מקדש קודשא ועל משכן זמנא ועל מדבחא יכפר ועל כהניא ועל כל עמא דקהלא יכפר:
ykpr dqhla ema kl wel khnya wel ykpr mdbkha wel zmna mshkn wel qwdsha mqdsh el wykpr
Then he shall make atonement for the Holy Sanctuary; and he shall make atonement for the Tent of Meeting and for the altar; and he shall make atonement for the priests and for all the people of the assembly.
34
ותהי דא לכון לקים עלם לכפרא על בני ישראל מכל חוביהון חדא בשתא ועבד כמא די פקיד יי ית משה:
mshh yth yy pqyd dy kma webd bshtha khda khwbyhwn mkl yshral bny el lkpra elm lqym lkwn da wthhy
“This shall be an everlasting statute for you, to make atonement for the children of Israel once in the year because of all their sins.” It was done as Yahweh commanded Moses.
