דא תהי אוריתא דסגירא ביומא דדכותיה ויתתי לות כהנא:
khna lwth wyththy ddkwthyh bywma dsgyra awrytha thhy da
“This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought to the priest,

ויפוק כהנא למברא למשריתא ויחזי כהנא והא אתסי מכתש סגירותא מן סגירא:
sgyra mn sgyrwtha mkthsh athsy wha khna wykhzy lmshrytha lmbra khna wypwq
and the priest shall go out of the camp. The priest shall examine him. Behold, if the plague of leprosy is healed in the leper,

ויפקד כהנא ויסב למדכי תרתין צפרין חיין דכין ואעא דארזא וצבע זהורי ואזובא:
wazwba zhwry wtsbe darza waea dkyn khyyn tspryn thrthyn lmdky wysb khna wypqd
then the priest shall command them to take for him who is to be cleansed two living clean birds, cedar wood, scarlet, and hyssop.

ויפקד כהנא ויכוס ית צפרא חדא למאן דחסף על מי מבוע:
mbwe my el dkhsp lman khda tspra yth wykws khna wypqd
The priest shall command them to kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water.
6
ית צפרא חיתא יסב יתה וית אעא דארזא וית צבע זהורי וית אזובא ויטבול יתהון וית צפרא חיתא בדמא דצפרא דנכיסא על מי מבוע:
mbwe my el dnkysa dtspra bdma khytha tspra wyth ythhwn wyTbwl azwba wyth zhwry tsbe wyth darza aea wyth ythh ysb khytha tspra yth
As for the living bird, he shall take it, the cedar wood, the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water.

וידי על דמדכי מן סגירותא שבע זמנין וידכניה וישלח ית צפרא חיתא על אפי חקלא:
khqla apy el khytha tspra yth wyshlkh wydknyh zmnyn shbe sgyrwtha mn dmdky el wydy
He shall sprinkle on him who is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird go into the open field.

ויצבע דמדכי ית לבושוהי ויגלח ית כל שעריה ויסחי במיא וידכי ובתר כן יעול למשריתא ויתב מברא למשכניה שבעא יומין:
ywmyn shbea lmshknyh mbra wythb lmshrytha yewl kn wbthr wydky bmya wyskhy sheryh kl yth wyglkh lbwshwhy yth dmdky wytsbe
“He who is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and bathe himself in water; and he shall be clean. After that he shall come into the camp, but shall dwell outside his tent seven days.

ויהי ביומא שביעאה יגלח ית כל שעריה ית רישיה וית דקניה וית גביני עינוהי וית כל שעריה יגלח ויצבע ית לבושוהי ויסחי ית בסריה במיא וידכי:
wydky bmya bsryh yth wyskhy lbwshwhy yth wytsbe yglkh sheryh kl wyth eynwhy gbyny wyth dqnyh wyth ryshyh yth sheryh kl yth yglkh shbyeah bywma wyhy
It shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows. He shall shave off all his hair. He shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his body in water. Then he shall be clean.

וביומא תמינאה יסב תרין אמרין שלמין ואמרתא חדא בת שתא שלמתא ותלתא עסרונין סלתא מנחתא דפילא במשח ולגא חד דמשחא:
dmshkha khd wlga bmshkh dpyla mnkhtha sltha esrwnyn wthltha shlmtha shtha bth khda wamrtha shlmyn amryn thryn ysb thmynah wbywma
“On the eighth day he shall take two male lambs without defect, one ewe lamb a year old without defect, three tenths of an ephah of fine flour for a meal offering, mixed with oil, and one log of oil.

ויקים כהנא דמדכי ית גברא דמדכי ויתהון קדם יי בתרע משכן זמנא:
zmna mshkn bthre yy qdm wythhwn dmdky gbra yth dmdky khna wyqym
The priest who cleanses him shall set the man who is to be cleansed, and those things, before Yahweh, at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

ויסב כהנא ית אמרא חדא ויקרב יתיה לאשמא וית לגא דמשחא וירים יתהון ארמא קדם יי:
yy qdm arma ythhwn wyrym dmshkha lga wyth lashma ythyh wyqrb khda amra yth khna wysb
“The priest shall take one of the male lambs, and offer him for a trespass offering, with the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before Yahweh.

ויכוס ית אמרא באתר די יכוס ית חטאתא וית עלתא באתר קדיש ארי כחטאתא אשמא הוא לכהנא קדש קודשין הוא:
hwa qwdshyn qdsh lkhna hwa ashma kkhTatha ary qdysh bathr eltha wyth khTatha yth ykws dy bathr amra yth wykws
He shall kill the male lamb in the place where they kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the place of the sanctuary; for as the sin offering is the priest’s, so is the trespass offering. It is most holy.

ויסב כהנא מדמא דאשמא ויתן כהנא על רום אודנא דמדכי דימינא ועל אליון ידיה דימינא ועל אליון רגליה דימינא:
dymyna rglyh alywn wel dymyna ydyh alywn wel dymyna dmdky awdna rwm el khna wythn dashma mdma khna wysb
The priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put it on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.

ויסב כהנא מלגא דמשחא ויריק על ידא דכהנא דשמאלא:
dshmala dkhna yda el wyryq dmshkha mlga khna wysb
The priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand.
16
ויטבול כהנא ית אצבעיה דימינא מן משחא די על ידיה דשמאלא וידי מן משחא באצבעיה שבע זמנין קדם יי:
yy qdm zmnyn shbe batsbeyh mshkha mn wydy dshmala ydyh el dy mshkha mn dymyna atsbeyh yth khna wyTbwl
The priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle some of the oil with his finger seven times before Yahweh.

ומשאר משחא די על ידיה יתן כהנא על רום אודנא דמדכי דימינא ועל אליון ידיה דימינא ועל אליון רגליה דימינא על דמא דאשמא:
dashma dma el dymyna rglyh alywn wel dymyna ydyh alywn wel dymyna dmdky awdna rwm el khna ythn ydyh el dy mshkha wmshar
The priest shall put some of the rest of the oil that is in his hand on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering.
18
ודאשתאר במשחא די על ידא דכהנא יתן על רישא דמדכי ויכפר עלוהי כהנא קדם יי:
yy qdm khna elwhy wykpr dmdky rysha el ythn dkhna yda el dy bmshkha wdashthar
The rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, and the priest shall make atonement for him before Yahweh.
19
ויעבד כהנא ית חטאתא ויכפר על דמדכי מסובתיה ובתר כן יכוס ית עלתא:
eltha yth ykws kn wbthr mswbthyh dmdky el wykpr khTatha yth khna wyebd
“The priest shall offer the sin offering, and make atonement for him who is to be cleansed because of his uncleanness. Afterward he shall kill the burnt offering;

ויסק כהנא ית עלתא וית מנחתא למדבחא ויכפר עלוהי כהנא וידכי:
wydky khna elwhy wykpr lmdbkha mnkhtha wyth eltha yth khna wysq
then the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the meal offering on the altar. The priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be clean.
21
ואם מסכן הוא ולית ידיה מדבקא ויסב אמר חד אשמא לארמא לכפרא עלוהי ועסרונא סלתא חד דפיל במשח למנחא ולגא דמשחא:
dmshkha wlga lmnkha bmshkh dpyl khd sltha wesrwna elwhy lkpra larma ashma khd amr wysb mdbqa ydyh wlyth hwa mskn wam
“If he is poor, and can’t afford so much, then he shall take one male lamb for a trespass offering to be waved, to make atonement for him, and one tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil for a meal offering, and a log of oil;

ותרתין שפנינין או תרין בני יונה די תדבק ידיה ויהי חד חטאתא וחד עלתא:
eltha wkhd khTatha khd wyhy ydyh thdbq dy ywnh bny thryn aw shpnynyn wthrthyn
and two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to afford; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering.
23
וייתי יתהון ביומא תמינאה לדכיותיה לות כהנא לתרע משכן זמנא קדם יי:
yy qdm zmna mshkn lthre khna lwth ldkywthyh thmynah bywma ythhwn wyythy
“On the eighth day he shall bring them for his cleansing to the priest, to the door of the Tent of Meeting, before Yahweh.

ויסב כהנא ית אמרא דאשמא וית לגא דמשחא וירים יתהון כהנא ארמא קדם יי:
yy qdm arma khna ythhwn wyrym dmshkha lga wyth dashma amra yth khna wysb
The priest shall take the lamb of the trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before Yahweh.
25
ויכוס ית אמרא דאשמא ויסב כהנא מדמא דאשמא ויתן על רום אודנא דמדכי דימינא ועל אליון ידיה דימינא ועל אליון רגליה דימינא:
dymyna rglyh alywn wel dymyna ydyh alywn wel dymyna dmdky awdna rwm el wythn dashma mdma khna wysb dashma amra yth wykws
He shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering. The priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering and put it on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.
26
ומן משחא יריק כהנא על ידא דכהנא דשמאלא:
dshmala dkhna yda el khna yryq mshkha wmn
The priest shall pour some of the oil into the palm of his own left hand;
27
וידי כהנא באצבעיה דימינא מן משחא די על ידיה דשמאלא שבע זמנין קדם יי:
yy qdm zmnyn shbe dshmala ydyh el dy mshkha mn dymyna batsbeyh khna wydy
and the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before Yahweh.
28
ויתן כהנא מן משחא די על ידיה על רום אודנא דמדכי דימינא ועל אליון ידיה דימינא ועל אליון רגליה דימינא על אתר דמא דאשמא:
dashma dma athr el dymyna rglyh alywn wel dymyna ydyh alywn wel dymyna dmdky awdna rwm el ydyh el dy mshkha mn khna wythn
Then the priest shall put some of the oil that is in his hand on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, on the place of the blood of the trespass offering.
29
ודישתאר מן משחא די על ידא דכהנא יתן על רישא דמדכי לכפרא עלוהי קדם יי:
yy qdm elwhy lkpra dmdky rysha el ythn dkhna yda el dy mshkha mn wdyshthar
The rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, to make atonement for him before Yahweh.
30
ויעבד ית חד מן שפניניא או מן בני יונה מדי תדבק ידיה:
ydyh thdbq mdy ywnh bny mn aw shpnynya mn khd yth wyebd
He shall offer one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, which ever he is able to afford,
31
ית די תדבק ידיה ית חד חטאתא וית חד עלתא על מנחתא ויכפר כהנא על דמדכי קדם יי:
yy qdm dmdky el khna wykpr mnkhtha el eltha khd wyth khTatha khd yth ydyh thdbq dy yth
of the kind he is able to afford, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, with the meal offering. The priest shall make atonement for him who is to be cleansed before Yahweh.”
32
דא אוריתא די ביה מכתש סגירו די לא תדבק ידיה בדכותיה:
bdkwthyh ydyh thdbq la dy sgyrw mkthsh byh dy awrytha da
This is the law for him in whom is the plague of leprosy, who is not able to afford the sacrifice for his cleansing.
33
ומליל יי עם משה ועם אהרן למימר:
lmymr ahrn wem mshh em yy wmlyl
Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
34
ארי תעלון לארעא דכנען די אנא יהב לכון לאחסנא ואתן מכתש סגירו בבית ארעא אחסנתכון:
akhsnthkwn area bbyth sgyrw mkthsh wathn lakhsna lkwn yhb ana dy dknen larea thelwn ary
“When you have come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put a spreading mildew in a house in the land of your possession,
35
וייתי דדיליה ביתא ויחוי לכהנא למימר כמכתשא אתחזי לי בביתא:
bbytha ly athkhzy kmkthsha lmymr lkhna wykhwy bytha ddylyh wyythy
then he who owns the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, ‘There seems to me to be some sort of plague in the house.’
36
ויפקד כהנא ויפנון ית ביתא עד לא יעול כהנא למחזי ית מכתשא ולא יסתאב כל די בביתא ובתר כן יעול כהנא למחזי ית ביתא:
bytha yth lmkhzy khna yewl kn wbthr bbytha dy kl ysthab wla mkthsha yth lmkhzy khna yewl la ed bytha yth wypnwn khna wypqd
The priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest goes in to examine the plague, that all that is in the house not be made unclean. Afterward the priest shall go in to inspect the house.
37
ויחזי ית מכתשא והא מכתשא בכתלי ביתא פחתין ירקן או סמקן ומחזיהון מכיך מן כתלא:
kthla mn mkyk wmkhzyhwn smqn aw yrqn pkhthyn bytha bkthly mkthsha wha mkthsha yth wykhzy
He shall examine the plague; and behold, if the plague is in the walls of the house with hollow streaks, greenish or reddish, and it appears to be deeper than the wall,

ויפוק כהנא מן ביתא לתרע ביתא ויסגר ית ביתא שבעא יומין:
ywmyn shbea bytha yth wysgr bytha lthre bytha mn khna wypwq
then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days.
39
ויתוב כהנא ביומא שביעאה ויחזי והא אוסיף מכתשא בכתלי ביתא:
bytha bkthly mkthsha awsyp wha wykhzy shbyeah bywma khna wythwb
The priest shall come again on the seventh day, and look. If the plague has spread in the walls of the house,
40
ויפקד כהנא וישלפון ית אבניא די בהון מכתשא וירמון יתהון למברא לקרתא לאתר מסאב:
msab lathr lqrtha lmbra ythhwn wyrmwn mkthsha bhwn dy abnya yth wyshlpwn khna wypqd
then the priest shall command that they take out the stones in which is the plague, and cast them into an unclean place outside of the city.
41
וית ביתא יקלפון מגיו סחור סחור וירמון ית עפרא די קליפו למברא לקרתא לאתר מסאב:
msab lathr lqrtha lmbra qlypw dy epra yth wyrmwn skhwr skhwr mgyw yqlpwn bytha wyth
He shall cause the inside of the house to be scraped all over. They shall pour out the mortar that they scraped off outside of the city into an unclean place.
42
ויסבון אבניא אחרנין ויעלון לאתר אבניא ועפר אחרן יסב וישוע ית ביתא:
bytha yth wyshwe ysb akhrn wepr abnya lathr wyelwn akhrnyn abnya wysbwn
They shall take other stones, and put them in the place of those stones; and he shall take other mortar, and shall plaster the house.
43
ואם יתוב מכתשא ויסגי בביתא בתר דשליפו ית אבניא ובתר דקליפו ית ביתא ובתר דאתשע:
dathshe wbthr bytha yth dqlypw wbthr abnya yth dshlypw bthr bbytha wysgy mkthsha ythwb wam
“If the plague comes again, and breaks out in the house after he has taken out the stones, and after he has scraped the house, and after it was plastered,
44
וייעול כהנא ויחזי והא אוסף מכתשא בביתא סגירות מחסרא היא בביתא מסאב הוא:
hwa msab bbytha hya mkhsra sgyrwth bbytha mkthsha awsp wha wykhzy khna wyyewl
then the priest shall come in and look; and behold, if the plague has spread in the house, it is a destructive mildew in the house. It is unclean.
45
ויתרע ית ביתא ית אבנוהי וית אעוהי וית כל עפר ביתא ויפק למברא לקרתא לאתר מסאב:
msab lathr lqrtha lmbra wypq bytha epr kl wyth aewhy wyth abnwhy yth bytha yth wythre
He shall break down the house, its stones, and its timber, and all the house’s mortar. He shall carry them out of the city into an unclean place.
46
ודייעול לביתא כל יומין דיסגר יתיה יהי מסאב עד רמשא:
rmsha ed msab yhy ythyh dysgr ywmyn kl lbytha wdyyewl
“Moreover he who goes into the house while it is shut up shall be unclean until the evening.
47
ודישכוב בביתא יצבע ית לבושוהי ודייכול בביתא יצבע ית לבושוהי:
lbwshwhy yth ytsbe bbytha wdyykwl lbwshwhy yth ytsbe bbytha wdyshkwb
He who lies down in the house shall wash his clothes; and he who eats in the house shall wash his clothes.
48
ואם מעל ייעול כהנא ויחזי והא לא אוסף מכתשא בביתא בתר דאתשע ית ביתא וידכי כהנא ית ביתא ארי אתסי מכתשא:
mkthsha athsy ary bytha yth khna wydky bytha yth dathshe bthr bbytha mkthsha awsp la wha wykhzy khna yyewl mel wam
“If the priest shall come in, and examine it, and behold, the plague hasn’t spread in the house, after the house was plastered, then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.
49
ויסב לדכאה ית ביתא תרתין צפרין ואעא דארזא וצבע זהורי ואזובא:
wazwba zhwry wtsbe darza waea tspryn thrthyn bytha yth ldkah wysb
To cleanse the house he shall take two birds, cedar wood, scarlet, and hyssop.

ויכוס ית צפרא חדא למאן דחסף על מי מבוע:
mbwe my el dkhsp lman khda tspra yth wykws
He shall kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water.
51
ויסב ית אעא דארזא וית אזובא וית צבע זהורי וית צפרא חיתא ויטבול יתהון בדמא דצפרא דנכיסא ובמי מבוע וידי לביתא שבע זמנין:
zmnyn shbe lbytha wydy mbwe wbmy dnkysa dtspra bdma ythhwn wyTbwl khytha tspra wyth zhwry tsbe wyth azwba wyth darza aea yth wysb
He shall take the cedar wood, the hyssop, the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times.
52
וידכי ית ביתא בדמא דצפרא ובמי מבוע ובצפרא חיתא ובאעא דארזא ובאזובא ובצבע זהורי:
zhwry wbtsbe wbazwba darza wbaea khytha wbtspra mbwe wbmy dtspra bdma bytha yth wydky
He shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, with the living bird, with the cedar wood, with the hyssop, and with the scarlet;
53
וישלח ית צפרא חיתא למברא לקרתא לאפי חקלא ויכפר על ביתא וידכי:
wydky bytha el wykpr khqla lapy lqrtha lmbra khytha tspra yth wyshlkh
but he shall let the living bird go out of the city into the open field. So shall he make atonement for the house; and it shall be clean.”
54
דא אוריתא לכל מכתש סגירותא ולנתקא:
wlnthqa sgyrwtha mkthsh lkl awrytha da
This is the law for any plague of leprosy, and for an itch,
55
ולסגירות לבושא ולביתא:
wlbytha lbwsha wlsgyrwth
and for the destructive mildew of a garment, and for a house,
56
ולעמקא ולעדיא ולבהרא:
wlbhra wledya wlemqa
and for a swelling, and for a scab, and for a bright spot;
