איכדין עמא דהב בית מוקדשא אשתני זיו פלטין בחיר משתדין מרגלאון קדישין בריש כל מחוזין:
mkhwzyn kl brysh qdyshyn mrglawn mshthdyn bkhyr plTyn zyw ashthny mwqdsha byth dhb ema aykdyn
How the gold has become dim! The most pure gold has changed! The stones of the sanctuary are poured out at the head of every street.

בני ציון יקירין דמתילין איקוניהון לדהב טב איכדין הוו עממין מסאבין מחתין יתנון מלקביל ערסיהון ומסתכלין בהון בגין דילדון נשיהון בנין שפריא כשופריהון ואתחשבו ללגינין דחסף עובדי ידי פחרא:
pkhra ydy ewbdy dkhsp llgynyn wathkhshbw kshwpryhwn shprya bnyn nshyhwn dyldwn bgyn bhwn wmsthklyn ersyhwn mlqbyl ythnwn mkhthyn msabyn emmyn hww aykdyn Tb ldhb ayqwnyhwn dmthylyn yqyryn tsywn bny
The precious sons of Zion, comparable to fine gold, how they are esteemed as earthen pitchers, the work of the hands of the potter!

אף בנתא דישראל מפנקתא לבני עממיא דדמין לחורמנא טלען תדיהן ורבי כנשתא דעמי מסירין לאכזראין ואמהון ספדן עליהון כנעמיא במדברא:
bmdbra knemya elyhwn spdn wamhwn lakzrayn msyryn demy knshtha wrby thdyhn Tlen lkhwrmna ddmyn emmya lbny mpnqtha dyshral bntha ap
Even the jackals offer their breast. They nurse their young ones. But the daughter of my people has become cruel, like the ostriches in the wilderness.

אדביק לשן עולימא למוריגה בצחותא טליא תבעו לחמא מושיט לית להון:
lhwn lyth mwshyT lkhma thbew Tlya btskhwtha lmwrygh ewlyma lshn adbyq
The tongue of the nursing child clings to the roof of his mouth for thirst. The young children ask for bread, and no one breaks it for them.

דהוו רגילין למיכל תפנוקין אשתממו במחוזין דאתרביאו על צבע זהרין גפיפו קקלאתן:
qqlathn gpypw zhryn tsbe el dathrbyaw bmkhwzyn ashthmmw thpnwqyn lmykl rgylyn dhww
Those who ate delicacies are desolate in the streets. Those who were brought up in purple embrace dunghills.

וסגית חובת כנשתא דעמי מן חובת סדום דאתהפכת כשעתא ולא שריאו בה נביאיא לאתנבאה לאהדרותה בתיובתא:
bthywbtha lahdrwthh lathnbah nbyaya bh shryaw wla kshetha dathhpkth sdwm khwbth mn demy knshtha khwbth wsgyth
For the iniquity of the daughter of my people is greater than the sin of Sodom, which was overthrown as in a moment. No hands were laid on her.

הוו ברירן נזירהא יתיר מתלגא שעעו יתיר מן חלבא סמיקו חיזו יתיר מן יוהרין וכשבזיזא פרצופיהון:
prtswpyhwn wkshbzyza ywhryn mn ythyr khyzw smyqw khlba mn ythyr sheew mthlga ythyr nzyrha bryrn hww
Her nobles were purer than snow. They were whiter than milk. They were more ruddy in body than rubies. Their polishing was like sapphire.

חשך מן אוכמתא דגלותא ריוהון לא אשתמודעו במחוזין אדק משכיהון על גרמיהון פריך הוה כקיסא:
kqysa hwh pryk grmyhwn el mshkyhwn adq bmkhwzyn ashthmwdew la rywhwn dglwtha awkmtha mn khshk
Their appearance is blacker than a coal. They are not known in the streets. Their skin clings to their bones. It is withered. It has become like wood.

מעלי הוו קטילי סייפא יתיר מן קטילי כפן דקטילי סייפא דייבין כד אינון מבזעין כריסיהון מן מה דאכלו מעלל חקלא ונפיחי כפנא פריק כריסיהון מן מיכלא:
mykla mn krysyhwn pryq kpna wnpykhy khqla mell daklw mh mn krysyhwn mbzeyn aynwn kd dyybyn syypa dqTyly kpn qTyly mn ythyr syypa qTyly hww mely
Those who are killed with the sword are better than those who are killed with hunger; for these pine away, stricken through, for lack of the fruits of the field.

ידי נשיא דהון מרחמין על מסכנין בשילו עולימיהון הוו למסעד להון ביום תבר כפנא די אתברת כנשתא דעמי:
demy knshtha athbrth dy kpna thbr bywm lhwn lmsed hww ewlymyhwn bshylw msknyn el mrkhmyn dhwn nshya ydy
The hands of the pitiful women have boiled their own children. They were their food in the destruction of the daughter of my people.

סף יי ית חימתיה שדא על ירושלם ית תקוף רוגזיה ואסיק באור לפיד אשתא בציון ואכלת אשותהא:
ashwthha waklth btsywn ashtha lpyd bawr wasyq rwgzyh thqwp yth yrwshlm el shda khymthyh yth yy sp
Yahweh has accomplished his wrath. He has poured out his fierce anger. He has kindled a fire in Zion, which has devoured its foundations.

לא הוו מהימנין מלכות ארעא וכל דיירי תבל ארום יעול נבוכדנצר רשיעא ונבוזראדן בעיל דבבא לנכסא עמא בית ישראל בתרעיא דירושלם:
dyrwshlm bthreya yshral byth ema lnksa dbba beyl wnbwzradn rshyea nbwkdntsr yewl arwm thbl dyyry wkl area mlkwth mhymnyn hww la
The kings of the earth didn’t believe, neither did all the inhabitants of the world, that the adversary and the enemy would enter into the gates of Jerusalem.

ענת מדת הדין וכן אמרת לא הות כל דא אלהן מחובת נביאהא דמנבאן לה נביאות שיקרא ומעוית כהנהא דאסיקו קטורת בוסמין לטעותא ואינון גרמו לאתשד בגוה דם זכאין:
zkayn dm bgwh lathshd grmw waynwn lTewtha bwsmyn qTwrth dasyqw khnha wmewyth shyqra nbyawth lh dmnban nbyaha mkhwbth alhn da kl hwth la amrth wkn hdyn mdth enth
It is because of the sins of her prophets and the iniquities of her priests, that have shed the blood of the just in the middle of her.

איתטלטלו עורין במחוזין אטנפו בדם קטולין בחרבא ועל דלא הוו יכלין למחמי קריבו בלבושיהון:
blbwshyhwn qrybw lmkhmy yklyn hww dla wel bkhrba qTwlyn bdm aTnpw bmkhwzyn ewryn aythTlTlw
They wander as blind men in the streets. They are polluted with blood, So that men can’t touch their garments.

זורו ממסאבא קרו עממיא זורו זורו לא תקרבו בהון ארום אתקוטטו אף אתטלטלו אמרו במהויהון בשלותהון דביני עממיא לא יוסיפון למידר:
lmydr ywsypwn la emmya dbyny bshlwthhwn bmhwyhwn amrw athTlTlw ap athqwTTw arwm bhwn thqrbw la zwrw zwrw emmya qrw mmsaba zwrw
“Go away!” they cried to them. “Unclean! Go away! Go away! Don’t touch! When they fled away and wandered, men said among the nations, “They can’t live here any more.”

מן קדם אפי יי אתפליגו לא יוסיף לאסתכלא בהון בגין כן אומיא רשיעיא אפי כהניא לא סברו ועלוי סביא לא חסו:
khsw la sbya welwy sbrw la khnya apy rshyeya awmya kn bgyn bhwn lasthkla ywsyp la athplygw yy apy qdm mn
Yahweh’s anger has scattered them. He will not pay attention to them any more. They didn’t respect the persons of the priests. They didn’t favor the elders.

עוד ספאן עיננא לאסתכלא לסייענא דהוינא מתינן לנוכראי דאתהפיך לנא לחבלו בסכותנא דאסתכינא לנוכראי דאנון עמא דלא יפרוק:
yprwq dla ema danwn lnwkray dasthkyna bskwthna lkhblw lna dathhpyk lnwkray mthynn dhwyna lsyyena lasthkla eynna span ewd
Our eyes still fail, looking in vain for our help. In our watching we have watched for a nation that could not save.

הינון צדין שבילנא מלמיהך לרוחצן בפלטייתנא אמרנא קרב סופנא אתמליאו יומנא ארום מטא סופנא:
swpna mTa arwm ywmna athmlyaw swpna qrb amrna bplTyythna lrwkhtsn mlmyhk shbylna tsdyn hynwn
They hunt our steps, so that we can’t go in our streets. Our end is near. Our days are fulfilled, for our end has come.

קלילין הוו רדפנא יתיר מנשרי שמיא על טוריא אדליקו יתנא במדברא כמנו לנא:
lna kmnw bmdbra ythna adlyqw Twrya el shmya mnshry ythyr rdpna hww qlylyn
Our pursuers were swifter than the eagles of the sky. They chased us on the mountains. They set an ambush for us in the wilderness.

מלכא יאשיהו דהוה חביב לנא כנשמת רוח חיין דבאפנא והוה מתרבי במשח רבותא דיי אתחד במיצד חבוליהון דמצראי דהוינא אמרין עלוהי בטלל זכותיה נחי ביני עממיא:
emmya byny nkhy zkwthyh bTll elwhy amryn dhwyna dmtsray khbwlyhwn bmytsd athkhd dyy rbwtha bmshkh mthrby whwh dbapna khyyn rwkh knshmth lna khbyb dhwh yashyhw mlka
The breath of our nostrils, the anointed of Yahweh, was taken in their pits; of whom we said, under his shadow we will live among the nations.

חדיאי ובדיחי ברתא דאדום דיתבא בארעא דעוץ בסגיאין אוכלוסין דמן עמא נוכראי אוף עליך עתיד למיתי פורענותא ויצדיין יתיך פרסי ותעבר עליך כס דלווט תרוי ותתרוקני:
wththrwqny thrwy dlwwT ks elyk wthebr prsy ythyk wytsdyyn pwrenwtha lmythy ethyd elyk awp nwkray ema dmn awklwsyn bsgyayn dewts barea dythba dadwm brtha wbdykhy khdyay
Rejoice and be glad, daughter of Edom, who dwells in the land of Uz. The cup will pass through to you also. You will be drunken, and will make yourself naked.

ובתר כן ישלם עויתך כנשתא דציון ותתפרקין על ידי דמלכא משיחא ואליהו כהנא רבא ולא יוסף יי תוב לאגלותך ובההיא זימנא אסער עויתך ברתא דאדום דמתבניא דמלאה אוכלוסין וייתון פרסאי ויעקון לך ויצדון יתך ארום אתפרסם קדם יי על חובותיך:
khwbwthyk el yy qdm athprsm arwm ythk wytsdwn lk wyeqwn prsay wyythwn awklwsyn dmlah dmthbnya dadwm brtha ewythk aser zymna wbhhya laglwthk thwb yy ywsp wla rba khna walyhw mshykha dmlka ydy el wththprqyn dtsywn knshtha ewythk yshlm kn wbthr
The punishment of your iniquity is accomplished, daughter of Zion. He will no more carry you away into captivity. He will visit your iniquity, daughter of Edom. He will uncover your sins.
