ואוסיפו בני ישראל למעבד דביש קדם יי ואהוד מית:
myth wahwd yy qdm dbysh lmebd yshral bny wawsypw
The children of Israel again did that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight, when Ehud was dead.

ומסרנון יי ביד יבין מלכא דכנען די מלך בחצור ורב חיליה סיסרא והוא יתיב בתקוף כרכי עממיא:
emmya krky bthqwp ythyb whwa sysra khylyh wrb bkhtswr mlk dy dknen mlka ybyn byd yy wmsrnwn
Yahweh sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, who reigned in Hazor; the captain of whose army was Sisera, who lived in Harosheth of the Gentiles.

וצעקו בני ישראל קדם יי ארי תשע מאה רתיכין דברזלא ליה והוא דחק ית בני ישראל בתוקפא עסרין שנין:
shnyn esryn bthwqpa yshral bny yth dkhq whwa lyh dbrzla rthykyn mah thshe ary yy qdm yshral bny wtseqw
The children of Israel cried to Yahweh, for he had nine hundred chariots of iron; and he mightily oppressed the children of Israel for twenty years.

ודבורה אתתא נביאתא איתת לפידות היא דינא ית ישראל בעדנא ההיא:
hhya bedna yshral yth dyna hya lpydwth aythth nbyatha aththa wdbwrh
Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lappidoth, judged Israel at that time.

והיא יתבה בקרתא בעטרות דבורה מתפרנסא מן דילה ולה דקלין ביריחו פרדסין ברמתא זיתין עבדין משח בבקעתא בית שקיא בבית אל עפר חור בטור מלכא וסלקין לותה בני ישראל לדינא:
ldyna yshral bny lwthh wslqyn mlka bTwr khwr epr al bbyth shqya byth bbqetha mshkh ebdyn zythyn brmtha prdsyn byrykhw dqlyn wlh dylh mn mthprnsa dbwrh beTrwth bqrtha ythbh whya
She lived under Deborah’s palm tree between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim; and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.

ושלחת וקרת לברק בר אבינועם מקדש דבית נפתלי ואמרת ליה הלא פקד יי אלהא דישראל אזיל ותתנגיד בטורא דתבור ותדבר עמך עסרא אלפין גברא מבני נפתלי ומבני זבולן:

She sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedesh Naphtali, and said to him, “Hasn’t Yahweh, the God of Israel, commanded, ‘Go and lead the way to Mount Tabor, and take with you ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?

ואתתיב על ידך לנחלא דקישון ית סיסרא רב חילא דיבין וית רתיכוהי וית משריתיה ואמסרנה בידך:
bydk wamsrnh mshrythyh wyth rthykwhy wyth dybyn khyla rb sysra yth dqyshwn lnkhla ydk el waththyb
I will draw to you, to the river Kishon, Sisera, the captain of Jabin’s army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into your hand.’”

ואמר לה ברק אם תיזלין עמי ואיזיל ואם לא תיזלין עמי לא איזיל:
ayzyl la emy thyzlyn la wam wayzyl emy thyzlyn am brq lh wamr
Barak said to her, “If you will go with me, then I will go; but if you will not go with me, I will not go.”

ואמרת מיזל איזיל עמך לחוד ארי לא תהי תושבחתך על אורחא דאת אזיל ארי ביד אתתא ימסור יי ית סיסרא וקמת דבורה ואזלת עם ברק לקדש:
lqdsh brq em wazlth dbwrh wqmth sysra yth yy ymswr aththa byd ary azyl dath awrkha el thwshbkhthk thhy la ary lkhwd emk ayzyl myzl wamrth
She said, “I will surely go with you. Nevertheless, the journey that you take won’t be for your honor; for Yahweh will sell Sisera into a woman’s hand.” Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.

וכנש ברק ית שבטא דזבולן וית שבטא דנפתלי לקדש וסליקו עמיה עסרא אלפין גברא וסליקת עמיה דבורה:
dbwrh emyh wslyqth gbra alpyn esra emyh wslyqw lqdsh dnpthly shbTa wyth dzbwln shbTa yth brq wknsh
Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali together to Kedesh. Ten thousand men followed him; and Deborah went up with him.

וחבר שלמאה אתפרש משלמאי מבני חובב חמוהי דמשה ופרסיה למשכניה עד מישר אגניא דעם קדש:
qdsh dem agnya myshr ed lmshknyh wprsyh dmshh khmwhy khwbb mbny mshlmay athprsh shlmah wkhbr
Now Heber the Kenite had separated himself from the Kenites, even from the children of Hobab, Moses’ brother-in-law, and had pitched his tent as far as the oak in Zaanannim, which is by Kedesh.

וחויאו לסיסרא ארי סליק ברק בר אבינועם לטור תבור:
thbwr lTwr abynwem br brq slyq ary lsysra wkhwyaw
They told Sisera that Barak the son of Abinoam had gone up to Mount Tabor.

וכנש סיסרא ית כל רתיכיה תשע מאה רתיכין דברזלא וית כל עמא דעמיה מתקוף כרכי עממיא לנחלא דקישון:
dqyshwn lnkhla emmya krky mthqwp demyh ema kl wyth dbrzla rthykyn mah thshe rthykyh kl yth sysra wknsh
Sisera gathered together all his chariots, even nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people who were with him, from Harosheth of the Gentiles, to the river Kishon.

ואמרת דבורה לברק קום ארי דין יומא דמסר יי ית סיסרא בידך הלא מלאכא דיי נפק לאצלחא קדמך ונחת ברק מטורא דתבור ועסרא אלפין גברא בתרוהי:
bthrwhy gbra alpyn wesra dthbwr mTwra brq wnkhth qdmk latslkha npq dyy mlaka hla bydk sysra yth yy dmsr ywma dyn ary qwm lbrq dbwrh wamrth
Deborah said to Barak, “Go; for this is the day in which Yahweh has delivered Sisera into your hand. Hasn’t Yahweh gone out before you?” So Barak went down from Mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.

ותבר יי ית סיסרא וית כל רתיכיא וית כל משריתא לפתגם דחרב קדם ברק ונחת סיסרא מעל רתיכא ואפך ברגלוהי:
brglwhy wapk rthyka mel sysra wnkhth brq qdm dkhrb lpthgm mshrytha kl wyth rthykya kl wyth sysra yth yy wthbr
Yahweh confused Sisera, all his chariots, and all his army, with the edge of the sword before Barak. Sisera abandoned his chariot and fled away on his feet.

וברק רדף בתר רתיכא ובתר משריתא עד תקוף כרכי עממיא ואתקטלא כל משרית סיסרא לפתגם דחרב לא אשתאר עד חד:
khd ed ashthar la dkhrb lpthgm sysra mshryth kl wathqTla emmya krky thqwp ed mshrytha wbthr rthyka bthr rdp wbrq
But Barak pursued the chariots and the army to Harosheth of the Gentiles; and all the army of Sisera fell by the edge of the sword. There was not a man left.

וסיסרא אפך ברגלוהי למשכנא דיעל אתת חבר שלמאה ארי שלמא בין יבין מלכא דחצור ובין בית חבר שלמאה:
shlmah khbr byth wbyn dkhtswr mlka ybyn byn shlma ary shlmah khbr athth dyel lmshkna brglwhy apk wsysra
However Sisera fled away on his feet to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite; for there was peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.

ונפקת יעל לקדמות סיסרא ואמרת ליה זור רבוני זור לותי לא תדחל וזר לותה למשכנא וכסיתיה בגונכא:
bgwnka wksythyh lmshkna lwthh wzr thdkhl la lwthy zwr rbwny zwr lyh wamrth sysra lqdmwth yel wnpqth
Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said to him, “Turn in, my lord, turn in to me; don’t be afraid.” He came in to her into the tent, and she covered him with a rug.

ואמר לה אשקיני כען זעיר מיא ארי צחי אנא למשתי ופתחת ית נודא דחלבא ואשקיתיה וכסיתיה:
wksythyh washqythyh dkhlba nwda yth wpthkhth lmshthy ana tskhy ary mya zeyr ken ashqyny lh wamr
He said to her, “Please give me a little water to drink; for I am thirsty.” She opened a container of milk, and gave him a drink, and covered him.

ואמר לה קומי בתרע משכנא ויהי אם אנש ייתי וישאלניך וימר האית כא גברא ותימרין לא:
la wthymryn gbra ka hayth wymr wyshalnyk yythy ansh am wyhy mshkna bthre qwmy lh wamr
He said to her, “Stand in the door of the tent, and if any man comes and inquires of you, and says, ‘Is there any man here?’ you shall say, ‘No.’”

ונסיבת יעל אתת חבר ית סכת משכנא ושויאת ית ארזפתא בידה ועלת לותיה ברז ונקישת ית סכתא בצדעיה ונעצת בערעא והוא דמוך ואשתלהי ומית:
wmyth washthlhy dmwk whwa berea wnetsth btsdeyh sktha yth wnqyshth brz lwthyh welth bydh arzptha yth wshwyath mshkna skth yth khbr athth yel wnsybth
Then Jael, Heber’s wife, took a tent peg, and took a hammer in her hand, and went softly to him, and struck the pin into his temples, and it pierced through into the ground, for he was in a deep sleep; so he fainted and died.

והא ברק רדף ית סיסרא ונפקת יעל לקדמותיה ואמרת ליה איתא ואחזינך ית גברא דאת בעי ועל לותה והא סיסרא טריף ומית וסכתא נעיצא בצדעיה:
btsdeyh neytsa wsktha wmyth Tryp sysra wha lwthh wel bey dath gbra yth wakhzynk aytha lyh wamrth lqdmwthyh yel wnpqth sysra yth rdp brq wha
Behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said to him, “Come, and I will show you the man whom you seek.” He came to her; and behold, Sisera lay dead, and the tent peg was in his temples.

ותבר יי ביומא ההוא ית יבין מלכא דכנען קדם בני ישראל:
yshral bny qdm dknen mlka ybyn yth hhwa bywma yy wthbr
So God subdued Jabin the king of Canaan before the children of Israel on that day.
24
ואזלת יד בני ישראל אזלא ותקפא על יבין מלכא דכנען עד די שציאו ית יבין מלכא דכנען:
dknen mlka ybyn yth shtsyaw dy ed dknen mlka ybyn el wthqpa azla yshral bny yd wazlth
The hand of the children of Israel prevailed more and more against Jabin the king of Canaan, until they had destroyed Jabin king of Canaan.
