והוה לזמן יומין סגיאין בתר דאניח יי לישראל מכל בעלי דבביהון מסחור סחור ויהושע סיב על ביומין:
bywmyn el syb wyhwshe skhwr mskhwr dbbyhwn bely mkl lyshral yy danykh bthr sgyayn ywmyn lzmn whwh
After many days, when Yahweh had given rest to Israel from their enemies all around, and Joshua was old and well advanced in years,

וקרא יהושע לכל ישראל לסבוהי ולרישוהי ולדינוהי ולסרכוהי ואמר להון אנא סיבית עלית ביומין:
bywmyn elyth sybyth ana lhwn wamr wlsrkwhy wldynwhy wlryshwhy lsbwhy yshral lkl yhwshe wqra
Joshua called for all Israel, for their elders and for their heads, and for their judges and for their officers, and said to them, “I am old and well advanced in years.

ואתון חזיתון ית כל דעבד יי אלהכון לכל עממיא האלין מן קדמיכון ארי יי אלהכון מימריה מגיח לכון:
lkwn mgykh mymryh alhkwn yy ary qdmykwn mn halyn emmya lkl alhkwn yy debd kl yth khzythwn wathwn
You have seen all that Yahweh your God has done to all these nations because of you; for it is Yahweh your God who has fought for you.

חזו די פלגית לכון ית עממיא די אשתארו האלין באחסנא לשבטיכון מן ירדנא וכל עממיא די שיציתי וימא רבא מעלני שמשא:
shmsha melny rba wyma shytsythy dy emmya wkl yrdna mn lshbTykwn bakhsna halyn ashtharw dy emmya yth lkwn plgyth dy khzw
Behold, I have allotted to you these nations that remain, to be an inheritance for your tribes, from the Jordan, with all the nations that I have cut off, even to the great sea toward the going down of the sun.

ויי אלהכון הוא יתברינון מן קדמיכון ויתרך יתהון מן קדמיכון ותרתון ית ארעהון כמא די מליל יי אלהכון לכון:
lkwn alhkwn yy mlyl dy kma arehwn yth wthrthwn qdmykwn mn ythhwn wythrk qdmykwn mn ythbrynwn hwa alhkwn wyy
Yahweh your God will thrust them out from before you, and drive them from out of your sight. You shall possess their land, as Yahweh your God spoke to you.

ותתקפון לחדא למטר ולמעבד ית כל דכתיב בספר אוריתא דמשה בדיל דלא למיסטי מיניה לימינא ולשמאלא:
wlshmala lymyna mynyh lmysTy dla bdyl dmshh awrytha bspr dkthyb kl yth wlmebd lmTr lkhda wththqpwn
“Therefore be very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that you not turn away from it to the right hand or to the left;

בדיל דלא לאתערבא בעממיא האלין די אשתארו האלין עמכון ובשום טעותהון לא תדכרון ולא תקימון ולא תפלחונון ולא תסגדון להון:
lhwn thsgdwn wla thplkhwnwn wla thqymwn wla thdkrwn la Tewthhwn wbshwm emkwn halyn ashtharw dy halyn bemmya latherba dla bdyl
that you not come among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to swear by them, neither serve them, nor bow down yourselves to them;

אלהן בדחלתא דיי אלהכון תדבקון כמא דעבדתון עד יומא הדין:
hdyn ywma ed debdthwn kma thdbqwn alhkwn dyy bdkhltha alhn
but hold fast to Yahweh your God, as you have done to this day.

ותריך יי מן קדמיכון עממין רברבין ותקיפין ואתון לא קם אנש קדמיכון עד יומא הדין:
hdyn ywma ed qdmykwn ansh qm la wathwn wthqypyn rbrbyn emmyn qdmykwn mn yy wthryk
“For Yahweh has driven great and strong nations out from before you. But as for you, no man has stood before you to this day.

גברא חד מנכון ירדוף אלפא ארי יי אלהכון מימריה מגיח לכון כמא די מליל לכון:
lkwn mlyl dy kma lkwn mgykh mymryh alhkwn yy ary alpa yrdwp mnkwn khd gbra
One man of you shall chase a thousand; for it is Yahweh your God who fights for you, as he spoke to you.

ותסתמרון לחדא לנפשתיכון למרחם ית יי אלהכון:
alhkwn yy yth lmrkhm lnpshthykwn lkhda wthsthmrwn
Take good heed therefore to yourselves, that you love Yahweh your God.

ארי אם מיתב תתובון ותדבקון בשאר עממיא האלין די אשתארו האלין עמכון ותתחתנון בהון ותתערבון בהון ואינון יתערבון בכון:
bkwn ytherbwn waynwn bhwn wththerbwn bhwn wththkhthnwn emkwn halyn ashtharw dy halyn emmya bshar wthdbqwn ththwbwn mythb am ary
“But if you do at all go back, and hold fast to the remnant of these nations, even these who remain among you, and make marriages with them, and go in to them, and they to you;

מדע תדעון ארי לא יוסיף מימרא דיי אלהכון לתרכא ית עממיא האלין מן קדמיכון ויהון לכון לתביר ולתקלא ולסיען נטלן זין לקבליכון ולמשרין מקפנכון עד דתבדון מעל ארעא טבתא הדא די יהב לכון יי אלהכון:
alhkwn yy lkwn yhb dy hda Tbtha area mel dthbdwn ed mqpnkwn wlmshryn lqblykwn zyn nTln wlsyen wlthqla lthbyr lkwn wyhwn qdmykwn mn halyn emmya yth lthrka alhkwn dyy mymra ywsyp la ary thdewn mde
know for a certainty that Yahweh your God will no longer drive these nations from out of your sight; but they shall be a snare and a trap to you, a scourge in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until you perish from off this good land which Yahweh your God has given you.

והא אנא אזיל יומא דין באורח כל ארעא ותדעון בכל לבכון ובכל נפשכון ארי לא בטיל פתגמא חדא מכל פתגמיא תקניא די מליל יי אלהכון עליכון כולהון אתקימו לכון לא בטיל מנכון פתגמא חדא:
khda pthgma mnkwn bTyl la lkwn athqymw kwlhwn elykwn alhkwn yy mlyl dy thqnya pthgmya mkl khda pthgma bTyl la ary npshkwn wbkl lbkwn bkl wthdewn area kl bawrkh dyn ywma azyl ana wha
“Behold, today I am going the way of all the earth. You know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which Yahweh your God spoke concerning you. All have happened to you. Not one thing has failed of it.

ויהי כמא דאתקימו עליכון כל פתגמיא תקניא די מליל יי אלהכון עליכון כן ייתי יי עליכון ית כל פתגמיא בישיא עד דישיצי יתכון מעל ארעא טבתא הדא די יהב לכון יי אלהכון:
alhkwn yy lkwn yhb dy hda Tbtha area mel ythkwn dyshytsy ed byshya pthgmya kl yth elykwn yy yythy kn elykwn alhkwn yy mlyl dy thqnya pthgmya kl elykwn dathqymw kma wyhy
It shall happen that as all the good things have come on you of which Yahweh your God spoke to you, so Yahweh will bring on you all the evil things, until he has destroyed you from off this good land which Yahweh your God has given you,

במעברכון ית קימא דיי אלהכון דפקד יתכון ותהכון ותפלחון לטעות עממיא ותסגדון להון ויתקיף רוגזא דיי בכון ותיבדון בפריע מעל ארעא טבתא דיהב לכון:
lkwn dyhb Tbtha area mel bprye wthybdwn bkwn dyy rwgza wythqyp lhwn wthsgdwn emmya lTewth wthplkhwn wthhkwn ythkwn dpqd alhkwn dyy qyma yth bmebrkwn
when you disobey the covenant of Yahweh your God, which he commanded you, and go and serve other gods, and bow down yourselves to them. Then Yahweh’s anger will be kindled against you, and you will perish quickly from off the good land which he has given to you.”
