וקריבו רישי אבהת ליואי לות אלעזר כהנא ולות יהושע בר נון ולות רישי אבהת שבטיא לבני ישראל:
yshral lbny shbTya abhth ryshy wlwth nwn br yhwshe wlwth khna alezr lwth lyway abhth ryshy wqrybw
Then the heads of fathers’ houses of the Levites came near to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the heads of fathers’ houses of the tribes of the children of Israel.

ומלילו עמהון בשלה בארעא דכנען למימר יי פקיד ביד משה למתן לנא קרוין למתב ורוחיהן לבעירנא:
lbeyrna wrwkhyhn lmthb qrwyn lna lmthn mshh byd pqyd yy lmymr dknen barea bshlh emhwn wmlylw
They spoke to them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, “Yahweh commanded through Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with their pasture lands for our livestock.”

ויהבו בני ישראל ללואי מאחסנתהון על מימרא דיי ית קרויא האלין וית רוחיהן:
rwkhyhn wyth halyn qrwya yth dyy mymra el makhsnthhwn llway yshral bny wyhbw
The children of Israel gave to the Levites out of their inheritance, according to the commandment of Yahweh, these cities with their pasture lands.

ונפק עדבא לזרעית קהת והוה לבני אהרן כהנא מן לואי משבטא דיהודה ומשבטא דשמעון ומשבטא דבנימין בעדבא קרויא תלת עשרי:
eshry thlth qrwya bedba dbnymyn wmshbTa dshmewn wmshbTa dyhwdh mshbTa lway mn khna ahrn lbny whwh qhth lzreyth edba wnpq
The lot came out for the families of the Kohathites. The children of Aaron the priest, who were of the Levites, had thirteen cities by lot out of the tribe of Judah, out of the tribe of the Simeonites, and out of the tribe of Benjamin.

ולבני קהת דאשתארו מזרעית שבטא דאפרים ומשבטא דדן ומפלגות שבטא דמנשה בעדבא קרוין עשר:
eshr qrwyn bedba dmnshh shbTa wmplgwth ddn wmshbTa daprym shbTa mzreyth dashtharw qhth wlbny
The rest of the children of Kohath had ten cities by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh.

ולבני גרשון מזרעית שבטא דיששכר ומשבטא דאשר ומשבטא דנפתלי ומפלגות שבטא דמנשה במתנן בעדבא קרוין תלת עשרי:
eshry thlth qrwyn bedba bmthnn dmnshh shbTa wmplgwth dnpthly wmshbTa dashr wmshbTa dyshshkr shbTa mzreyth grshwn wlbny
The children of Gershon had thirteen cities by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, out of the tribe of Asher, out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan.

לבני מררי לזרעיתהון משבטא דראובן ומשבטא דגד ומשבטא דזבולן קרוין תרתי עשרי:
eshry thrthy qrwyn dzbwln wmshbTa dgd wmshbTa drawbn mshbTa lzreythhwn mrry lbny
The children of Merari according to their families had twelve cities out of the tribe of Reuben, out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun.

ויהבו בני ישראל ללואי ית קרויא האילן וית רוחיהן כמא דפקד יי בידא דמשה בעדבא:
bedba dmshh byda yy dpqd kma rwkhyhn wyth hayln qrwya yth llway yshral bny wyhbw
The children of Israel gave these cities with their pasture lands by lot to the Levites, as Yahweh commanded by Moses.

ויהבו משבטא דבני יהודה ומשבטא דבני שמעון ית קרויא האלין דאתפרשא בשמהן:
bshmhn dathprsha halyn qrwya yth shmewn dbny wmshbTa yhwdh dbny mshbTa wyhbw
They gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are mentioned by name:

והוה לבני אהרן מזרעית קהת מבני לואי ארי להון הוה עדבא בקדמיתא:
bqdmytha edba hwh lhwn ary lway mbny qhth mzreyth ahrn lbny whwh
and they were for the children of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi; for theirs was the first lot.

ויהבו להון ית קרית ארבע אבוהון דגבריא היא חברון בטורא דיהודה וית רוחהא סחרנהא:
skhrnha rwkhha wyth dyhwdh bTwra khbrwn hya dgbrya abwhwn arbe qryth yth lhwn wyhbw
They gave them Kiriath Arba, named after the father of Anak (also called Hebron), in the hill country of Judah, with its pasture lands around it.

וית חקל קרתא וית פצחהא יהבו לכלב בר יפנה באחסנתיה:
bakhsnthyh ypnh br lklb yhbw ptskhha wyth qrtha khql wyth
But they gave the fields of the city and its villages to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.

ולבני אהרן כהנא יהבו ית קרית שזבות קטולא ית חברון וית רוחהא וית לבנה וית רוחהא:
rwkhha wyth lbnh wyth rwkhha wyth khbrwn yth qTwla shzbwth qryth yth yhbw khna ahrn wlbny
To the children of Aaron the priest they gave Hebron with its pasture lands, the city of refuge for the man slayer, Libnah with its pasture lands,

וית יתר וית רוחהא וית אשתמע וית רוחהא:
rwkhha wyth ashthme wyth rwkhha wyth ythr wyth
Jattir with its pasture lands, Eshtemoa with its pasture lands,
15
וית חלן וית רוחהא וית דביר וית רוחהא:
rwkhha wyth dbyr wyth rwkhha wyth khln wyth
Holon with its pasture lands, Debir with its pasture lands,
16
וית עין וית רוחהא וית יטה וית רוחהא ית בית שמש וית רוחהא קרוין תשע מן תרין שבטיא האלין:
halyn shbTya thryn mn thshe qrwyn rwkhha wyth shmsh byth yth rwkhha wyth yTh wyth rwkhha wyth eyn wyth
Ain with its pasture lands, Juttah with its pasture lands, and Beth Shemesh with its pasture lands: nine cities out of those two tribes.

ומשבטא דבנימין ית גבעון וית רוחהא ית גבע וית רוחהא:
rwkhha wyth gbe yth rwkhha wyth gbewn yth dbnymyn wmshbTa
Out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with its pasture lands, Geba with its pasture lands,
18
ית ענתות וית רוחהא וית עלמון וית רוחהא קרוין ארבע:
arbe qrwyn rwkhha wyth elmwn wyth rwkhha wyth enthwth yth
Anathoth with its pasture lands, and Almon with its pasture lands: four cities.
19
כל קרוי בני אהרן כהניא תלת עשרי קרוין ורוחיהן:
wrwkhyhn qrwyn eshry thlth khnya ahrn bny qrwy kl
All the cities of the children of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities with their pasture lands.
20
ולזרעית בני קהת לואי דאשתארו מבני קהת והואה קרוי עדביהון משבטא דבני אפרים:
aprym dbny mshbTa edbyhwn qrwy whwah qhth mbny dashtharw lway qhth bny wlzreyth
The families of the children of Kohath, the Levites, even the rest of the children of Kohath, had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim.

ויהבו להון ית קרית שזבות קטולא ית שכם וית רוחהא בטורא דבית אפרים וית גזר וית רוחהא:
rwkhha wyth gzr wyth aprym dbyth bTwra rwkhha wyth shkm yth qTwla shzbwth qryth yth lhwn wyhbw
They gave them Shechem with its pasture lands in the hill country of Ephraim, the city of refuge for the man slayer, and Gezer with its pasture lands,

וית קבצים וית רוחהא וית בית חורון וית רוחהא קרוין ארבע:
arbe qrwyn rwkhha wyth khwrwn byth wyth rwkhha wyth qbtsym wyth
Kibzaim with its pasture lands, and Beth Horon with its pasture lands: four cities.

ומשבטא דדן ית אלתקא וית רוחהא ית גבתון וית רוחהא:
rwkhha wyth gbthwn yth rwkhha wyth althqa yth ddn wmshbTa
Out of the tribe of Dan, Elteke with its pasture lands, Gibbethon with its pasture lands,
24
ית אילון וית רוחהא ית גת רמון וית רוחהא קרוין ארבע:
arbe qrwyn rwkhha wyth rmwn gth yth rwkhha wyth aylwn yth
Aijalon with its pasture lands, Gath Rimmon with its pasture lands: four cities.
25
ומפלגות שבטא דמנשה ית תענך וית רוחהא וית גת רמון וית רוחהא קרוין תרתין:
thrthyn qrwyn rwkhha wyth rmwn gth wyth rwkhha wyth thenk yth dmnshh shbTa wmplgwth
Out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Taanach with its pasture lands, and Gath Rimmon with its pasture lands: two cities.

כל קרוין עשר ורוחיהון לזרעית בני קהת דאשתארו:
dashtharw qhth bny lzreyth wrwkhyhwn eshr qrwyn kl
All the cities of the families of the rest of the children of Kohath were ten with their pasture lands.
27
ולבני גרשון מזרעית לואי מפלגות שבטא דמנשה ית קרית שזבות קטולא ית גולן במתנן וית רוחהא וית בעשתרה וית רוחהא קרוין תרתין:
thrthyn qrwyn rwkhha wyth beshthrh wyth rwkhha wyth bmthnn gwln yth qTwla shzbwth qryth yth dmnshh shbTa mplgwth lway mzreyth grshwn wlbny
They gave to the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the half-tribe of Manasseh Golan in Bashan with its pasture lands, the city of refuge for the man slayer, and Be Eshterah with its pasture lands: two cities.

ומשבטא דיששכר ית קשיון וית רוחהא ית דברת וית רוחהא:
rwkhha wyth dbrth yth rwkhha wyth qshywn yth dyshshkr wmshbTa
Out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishion with its pasture lands, Daberath with its pasture lands,
29
ית ירמות וית רוחהא ית עין גנים וית רוחהא קרוין ארבע:
arbe qrwyn rwkhha wyth gnym eyn yth rwkhha wyth yrmwth yth
Jarmuth with its pasture lands, En Gannim with its pasture lands: four cities.
30
ומשבטא דאשר ית משאל וית רוחהא ית עבדון וית רוחהא:
rwkhha wyth ebdwn yth rwkhha wyth mshal yth dashr wmshbTa
Out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with its pasture lands, Abdon with its pasture lands,
31
ית חלקת וית רוחהא וית רחוב וית רוחהא קרוין ארבע:
arbe qrwyn rwkhha wyth rkhwb wyth rwkhha wyth khlqth yth
Helkath with its pasture lands, and Rehob with its pasture lands: four cities.
32
ומשבטא דנפתלי ית קרית שזבות קטולא ית קדש בגליל וית רוחהא וית חמות דאר וית רוחהא וית קרתן וית רוחהא קרוין תלת:
thlth qrwyn rwkhha wyth qrthn wyth rwkhha wyth dar khmwth wyth rwkhha wyth bglyl qdsh yth qTwla shzbwth qryth yth dnpthly wmshbTa
Out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with its pasture lands, the city of refuge for the man slayer, Hammothdor with its pasture lands, and Kartan with its pasture lands: three cities.
33
כל קרוי בני גרשון לזרעיתהון תלת עסרי קרוין ורוחיהן:
wrwkhyhn qrwyn esry thlth lzreythhwn grshwn bny qrwy kl
All the cities of the Gershonites according to their families were thirteen cities with their pasture lands.

ולזרעית בני מררי לואי די אשתארו מן שבטא דזבולן ית יקנעם וית רוחהא ית קרתה וית רוחהא:
rwkhha wyth qrthh yth rwkhha wyth yqnem yth dzbwln shbTa mn ashtharw dy lway mrry bny wlzreyth
To the families of the children of Merari, the rest of the Levites, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam with its pasture lands, Kartah with its pasture lands,
35
ית דמנה וית רוחהא ית נהלל וית רוחהא קרוין ארבע:
arbe qrwyn rwkhha wyth nhll yth rwkhha wyth dmnh yth
Dimnah with its pasture lands, and Nahalal with its pasture lands: four cities.
36
ומשבטא דראובן ית קרית שזבות קטולא ית בצר במדברא ית יהצה וית רוחהא:
rwkhha wyth yhtsh yth bmdbra btsr yth qTwla shzbwth qryth yth drawbn wmshbTa
Out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with its pasture lands, Jahaz with its pasture lands,

ית קדמות וית רוחהא ית מיפעת וית רוחהא קרוין ארבע:
arbe qrwyn rwkhha wyth mypeth yth rwkhha wyth qdmwth yth
Kedemoth with its pasture lands, and Mephaath with its pasture lands: four cities.
38
ומשבטא דגד ית קרית שזבות קטולא ית רמות בגלעד וית רוחהא וית מחנים וית רוחהא:
rwkhha wyth mkhnym wyth rwkhha wyth bgled rmwth yth qTwla shzbwth qryth yth dgd wmshbTa
Out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with its pasture lands, the city of refuge for the man slayer, and Mahanaim with its pasture lands,
39
ית חשבון וית רוחהא ית יעזר וית רוחהא כל קרוין ארבע:
arbe qrwyn kl rwkhha wyth yezr yth rwkhha wyth khshbwn yth
Heshbon with its pasture lands, Jazer with its pasture lands: four cities in all.
40
כל קרויא לבני מררי לזרעיתהון די אשתארו מזרעית ליואי והוה עדבהון קרוין תרתי עסרי:
esry thrthy qrwyn edbhwn whwh lyway mzreyth ashtharw dy lzreythhwn mrry lbny qrwya kl
All these were the cities of the children of Merari according to their families, even the rest of the families of the Levites. Their lot was twelve cities.
41
כל קרוי לואי בגו אחסנת בני ישראל קרוין ארבעין ותמני ורוחיהן:
wrwkhyhn wthmny arbeyn qrwyn yshral bny akhsnth bgw lway qrwy kl
All the cities of the Levites among the possessions of the children of Israel were forty-eight cities with their pasture lands.
42
יהוין קרויא האלין קרוי קרוי ורוחהא סחרנהא כן לכל קרויא האלין:
halyn qrwya lkl kn skhrnha wrwkhha qrwy qrwy halyn qrwya yhwyn
Each of these cities included their pasture lands around them. It was this way with all these cities.
43
ויהב יי לישראל ית כל ארעא די קים למתן לאבהתהון ואחסינוה ויתיבו בה:
bh wythybw wakhsynwh labhthhwn lmthn qym dy area kl yth lyshral yy wyhb
So Yahweh gave to Israel all the land which he swore to give to their fathers. They possessed it, and lived in it.
44
ואניח יי להון מסחור סחור ככל דקים לאבהתהון ולא קם אנש מן קדמיהון מן כל בעלי דבביהון ית כל בעלי דבביהון מסר יי בידיהון:
bydyhwn yy msr dbbyhwn bely kl yth dbbyhwn bely kl mn qdmyhwn mn ansh qm wla labhthhwn dqym kkl skhwr mskhwr lhwn yy wanykh
Yahweh gave them rest all around, according to all that he swore to their fathers. Not a man of all their enemies stood before them. Yahweh delivered all their enemies into their hand.
