ונפק עדבא תנינא לשמעון לשבטא דבני שמעון לזרעיתהון והוה אחסנתהון בגו אחסנת בני יהודה:
yhwdh bny akhsnth bgw akhsnthhwn whwh lzreythhwn shmewn dbny lshbTa lshmewn thnyna edba wnpq
The second lot came out for Simeon, even for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families. Their inheritance was in the middle of the inheritance of the children of Judah.

והוה להון באחסנתהון באר שבע ושבע ומולדה:
wmwldh wshbe shbe bar bakhsnthhwn lhwn whwh
They had for their inheritance Beersheba (or Sheba), Moladah,

וצקלג ובית המרכבת וחצר סוסה:
swsh wkhtsr hmrkbth wbyth wtsqlg
Ziklag, Beth Marcaboth, Hazar Susah,

ובית לבאות ושרוחן קרוין תלת עסרי ופצחיהן:
wptskhyhn esry thlth qrwyn wshrwkhn lbawth wbyth
Beth Lebaoth, and Sharuhen; thirteen cities with their villages;

עין רמון ועתר ועשן קרוין ארבע ופצחיהן:
wptskhyhn arbe qrwyn weshn wethr rmwn eyn
Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan; four cities with their villages;

וכל פצחיא די בסחרנות קרויא האלין עד בעלת באר ראמת דרומא דא אחסנת שבטא דבני שמעון לזרעיתהון:
lzreythhwn shmewn dbny shbTa akhsnth da drwma ramth bar belth ed halyn qrwya bskhrnwth dy ptskhya wkl
and all the villages that were around these cities to Baalath Beer, Ramah of the South. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.

מעדב בני יהודה אחסנת בני שמעון ארי הוה חילק בני יהודה סגי מנהון ואחסינו בני שמעון בגו אחסנתהון:
akhsnthhwn bgw shmewn bny wakhsynw mnhwn sgy yhwdh bny khylq hwh ary shmewn bny akhsnth yhwdh bny medb
Out of the part of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon; for the portion of the children of Judah was too much for them. Therefore the children of Simeon had inheritance in the middle of their inheritance.

וסליק עדבא תליתאה לבני זבולן לזרעיתהון והוה תחום אחסנתהון עד שריד:
shryd ed akhsnthhwn thkhwm whwh lzreythhwn zbwln lbny thlythah edba wslyq
The third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families. The border of their inheritance was to Sarid.

וסליק תחומהון לימא ומרעלא ומערע בדבשת ומערע בנחלא די על אפי יקנעם:
yqnem apy el dy bnkhla wmere bdbshth wmere wmrela lyma thkhwmhwn wslyq
Their border went up westward, even to Maralah, and reached to Dabbesheth. It reached to the brook that is before Jokneam.

ותב משריד לקידומא מדנח שמשא על תחום כסלות תבור ונפיק לדברת וסליק ליפיע:
lypye wslyq ldbrth wnpyq thbwr kslwth thkhwm el shmsha mdnkh lqydwma mshryd wthb
It turned from Sarid eastward toward the sunrise to the border of Chisloth Tabor. It went out to Daberath, and went up to Japhia.

ומתמן עבר לקדומא מדינחא גתה חפר עתה קצין ונפיק לרמון דמתואר ומתמן מסתחר לנעה:
lneh msthkhr wmthmn dmthwar lrmwn wnpyq qtsyn ethh khpr gthh mdynkha lqdwma ebr wmthmn
From there it passed along eastward to Gath Hepher, to Ethkazin; and it went out at Rimmon which stretches to Neah.

ומסתחר ליה תחומא מצפונא לחנתון והוון מפקנוהי לחילת יפתח אל:
al ypthkh lkhylth mpqnwhy whwwn lkhnthwn mtspwna thkhwma lyh wmsthkhr
The border turned around it on the north to Hannathon; and it ended at the valley of Iphtah El;

וקטת ונהלל ושמרון וידאלה ובית לחם קרוין תרתא עסרי ופצחיהן:
wptskhyhn esry thrtha qrwyn lkhm wbyth wydalh wshmrwn wnhll wqTth
Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem: twelve cities with their villages.

דא אחסנת בני זבולן לזרעיתהון קרויא האלין ופצחיהן:
wptskhyhn halyn qrwya lzreythhwn zbwln bny akhsnth da
This is the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.
17
ליששכר נפק עדבא רביעאה לבני יששכר לזרעיתהון:
lzreythhwn yshshkr lbny rbyeah edba npq lyshshkr
The fourth lot came out for Issachar, even for the children of Issachar according to their families.
18
והוה תחומהון יזרעאל וכסלות ושונם:
wshwnm wkslwth yzreal thkhwmhwn whwh
Their border was to Jezreel, Chesulloth, Shunem,

ורמת ועין גנים ועין חדה ובית פצץ:
ptsts wbyth khdh weyn gnym weyn wrmth
Remeth, Engannim, En Haddah, and Beth Pazzez.

ומערע תחומא בתבור ושחצימה ובית שמש והוון מפקנוהי דתחומהון לירדנא קרוין שית עסרי ופצחיהן:
wptskhyhn esry shyth qrwyn lyrdna dthkhwmhwn mpqnwhy whwwn shmsh wbyth wshkhtsymh bthbwr thkhwma wmere
The border reached to Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth Shemesh. Their border ended at the Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages.

דא אחסנת שבטא דבני יששכר לזרעיתהון קרויא ופצחיהן:
wptskhyhn qrwya lzreythhwn yshshkr dbny shbTa akhsnth da
This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities with their villages.
24
ונפק עדבא חמישאה לשבטא דבני אשר לזרעיתהון:
lzreythhwn ashr dbny lshbTa khmyshah edba wnpq
The fifth lot came out for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.
25
והוה תחומהון חלקת וחלי ובטן ואכשף:
wakshp wbTn wkhly khlqth thkhwmhwn whwh
Their border was Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achshaph,
26
ואלמלך ועמעד ומשאל ומערע בכרמלא לימא ובשיחור לבנת:
lbnth wbshykhwr lyma bkrmla wmere wmshal wemed walmlk
Allammelech, Amad, Mishal. It reached to Carmel westward, and to Shihorlibnath.
27
ותב ממדנח שמשא בית דגון ומערע בזבולן ובחילת יפתח אל לצפונא בית מישרא ונעיאל ונפיק לכבול משמאלא:
mshmala lkbwl wnpyq wneyal myshra byth ltspwna al ypthkh wbkhylth bzbwln wmere dgwn byth shmsha mmdnkh wthb
It turned toward the sunrise to Beth Dagon, and reached to Zebulun, and to the valley of Iphtah El northward to Beth Emek and Neiel. It went out to Cabul on the left hand,

ועברון ורחב וחמון וקנה עד צידון רבה:
rbh tsydwn ed wqnh wkhmwn wrkhb webrwn
and Ebron, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, even to great Sidon.

ותב תחומא לרמתא ועד קרוין כריכן קרוי תוקפא ותב תחומא לחוסה ויהון מפקנוהי לימא מעדב אכזיב:
akzyb medb lyma mpqnwhy wyhwn lkhwsh thkhwma wthb thwqpa qrwy krykn qrwyn wed lrmtha thkhwma wthb
The border turned to Ramah, to the fortified city of Tyre; and the border turned to Hosah. It ended at the sea by the region of Achzib;

ועמה ואפק ורחוב קרוין תרתין ועשרין ופצחיהן:
wptskhyhn weshryn thrthyn qrwyn wrkhwb wapq wemh
Ummah also, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty-two cities with their villages.
31
דא אחסנת שבטא דבני אשר לזרעיתהון קרויא האלין ופצחיהן:
wptskhyhn halyn qrwya lzreythhwn ashr dbny shbTa akhsnth da
This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.
32
לבני נפתלי נפק עדבא שתיתאה לבני נפתלי לזרעיתהון:
lzreythhwn npthly lbny shthythah edba npq npthly lbny
The sixth lot came out for the children of Naphtali, even for the children of Naphtali according to their families.
33
והוה תחומהון מחלף מאלון בצעננים ואדמי הנקב ויבנאל עד לקום והוון מפקנוהי לירדנא:
lyrdna mpqnwhy whwwn lqwm ed wybnal hnqb wadmy btsennym malwn mkhlp thkhwmhwn whwh
Their border was from Heleph, from the oak in Zaanannim, Adami-nekeb, and Jabneel, to Lakkum. It ended at the Jordan.

ותב תחומא לימא לאזנות תבור ונפק מתמן לחקקה ומערע בזבולן מדרומא ובאשר יערע ממערבא וביהודה ירדנא מדנח שמשא:
shmsha mdnkh yrdna wbyhwdh mmerba yere wbashr mdrwma bzbwln wmere lkhqqh mthmn wnpq thbwr laznwth lyma thkhwma wthb
The border turned westward to Aznoth Tabor, and went out from there to Hukkok. It reached to Zebulun on the south, and reached to Asher on the west, and to Judah at the Jordan toward the sunrise.

וקרוין כריכן הצדים צר וחמת רקת וכנרת:
wknrth rqth wkhmth tsr htsdym krykn wqrwyn
The fortified cities were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Chinnereth,

ויראון ומגדל אל חרם ובית ענת ובית שמש קרוין תשע עשרי ופצחיהן:
wptskhyhn eshry thshe qrwyn shmsh wbyth enth wbyth khrm al wmgdl wyrawn
Iron, Migdal El, Horem, Beth Anath, and Beth Shemesh; nineteen cities with their villages.

דא אחסנת שבטא דבני נפתלי לזרעיתהון קרויא ופצחיהן:
wptskhyhn qrwya lzreythhwn npthly dbny shbTa akhsnth da
This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities with their villages.
40
לשבטא דבני דן לזרעיתהון נפקא עדבא שביעאה:
shbyeah edba npqa lzreythhwn dn dbny lshbTa
The seventh lot came out for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families.
41
והוה תחום אחסנתהון צרעה ואשתאול וקרית שמשא:
shmsha wqryth washthawl tsreh akhsnthhwn thkhwm whwh
The border of their inheritance was Zorah, Eshtaol, Irshemesh,

ומי הירקון ורקון עם תחומא די לקביל יפו:
ypw lqbyl dy thkhwma em wrqwn hyrqwn wmy
Me Jarkon, and Rakkon, with the border opposite Joppa.
47
ונפק תחום בני דן מנהון וסליקו בני דן ואגיחו קרבא עם לשם וכבשו יתה ומחו יתה לפתגם דחרב ויריתו יתה ויתיבו בה וקרו ללשם דן כשום דן אבוהון:
abwhwn dn kshwm dn llshm wqrw bh wythybw ythh wyrythw dkhrb lpthgm ythh wmkhw ythh wkbshw lshm em qrba wagykhw dn bny wslyqw mnhwn dn bny thkhwm wnpq
The border of the children of Dan went out beyond them; for the children of Dan went up and fought against Leshem, and took it, and struck it with the edge of the sword, and possessed it, and lived therein, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their forefather.

דא אחסנת שבטא דבני דן לזרעיתהון קרויא האלין ופצחיהן:
wptskhyhn halyn qrwya lzreythhwn dn dbny shbTa akhsnth da
This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities with their villages.
49
ושיציאו לאחסנא ית ארעא לתחומהא ויהבו בני ישראל אחסנא ליהושע בר נון ביניהון:
bynyhwn nwn br lyhwshe akhsna yshral bny wyhbw lthkhwmha area yth lakhsna wshytsyaw
So they finished distributing the land for inheritance by its borders. The children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them.

על מימרא דיי יהבו ליה ית קרתא די שאל ית תמנת סרח בטורא דאפרים ובנא ית קרתא ויתיב בה:
bh wythyb qrtha yth wbna daprym bTwra srkh thmnth yth shal dy qrtha yth lyh yhbw dyy mymra el
According to Yahweh’s commandment, they gave him the city which he asked, even Timnathserah in the hill country of Ephraim; and he built the city, and lived there.

אילן אחסנתיא די אחסין אלעזר כהנא ויהושע בר נון ורישי אבהתא לשבטיא דבני ישראל בעדבא בשלה קדם יי בתרע משכן זמנא ושיציאו מלפלגא ית ארעא:

These are the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers’ houses of the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed for inheritance by lot in Shiloh before Yahweh, at the door of the Tent of Meeting. So they finished dividing the land.
