ואתכנשו כל כנשתא דבני ישראל לשלה ואשריאו תמן ית משכן זמנא וארעא אתכבישת קדמיהון:
qdmyhwn athkbyshth warea zmna mshkn yth thmn washryaw lshlh yshral dbny knshtha kl wathknshw
The whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled themselves together at Shiloh, and set up the Tent of Meeting there. The land was subdued before them.

ואשתארו בבני ישראל דלא פליגו ית אחסנתהון שבעה שבטין:
shbTyn shbeh akhsnthhwn yth plygw dla yshral bbny washtharw
Seven tribes remained among the children of Israel, which had not yet divided their inheritance.

ואמר יהושע לבני ישראל עד אימתי אתון מתרשלין למיעל למירת ית ארעא דיהב לכון יי אלהא דאבהתכון:
dabhthkwn alha yy lkwn dyhb area yth lmyrth lmyel mthrshlyn athwn aymthy ed yshral lbny yhwshe wamr
Joshua said to the children of Israel, “How long will you neglect to go in to possess the land, which Yahweh, the God of your fathers, has given you?

הבו לכון תלתא גברין לשבטא ואשלחינון ויקומון ויהלכון בארעא ויכתבון יתה לפום אחסנתהון וייתון לותי:
lwthy wyythwn akhsnthhwn lpwm ythh wykthbwn barea wyhlkwn wyqwmwn washlkhynwn lshbTa gbryn thltha lkwn hbw
Appoint for yourselves three men from each tribe. I will send them, and they shall arise, walk through the land, and describe it according to their inheritance; then they shall come to me.

ויפלגון יתה לשבעה חולקין דבית יהודה יקומון על תחומיהון מדרומא ודבית יוסף יקומון על תחומיהון מצפונא:
mtspwna thkhwmyhwn el yqwmwn ywsp wdbyth mdrwma thkhwmyhwn el yqwmwn yhwdh dbyth khwlqyn lshbeh ythh wyplgwn
They shall divide it into seven portions. Judah shall live in his borders on the south, and the house of Joseph shall live in their borders on the north.

ואתון תכתבון ית ארעא לשבעא חולקין ותיתון לותי הלכא וארמי לכון עדבא הלכא קדם יי אלהנא:
alhna yy qdm hlka edba lkwn warmy hlka lwthy wthythwn khwlqyn lshbea area yth thkthbwn wathwn
You shall survey the land into seven parts, and bring the description here to me; and I will cast lots for you here before Yahweh our God.

ארי לית חולק ללואי ביניכון אלהן מתנן דיהב להון יי אינון אחסנתהון וגד וראובן ופלגות שבטא דמנשה קבילו אחסנתהון מעברא לירדנא מדינחא דיהב להון משה עבדא דיי:
dyy ebda mshh lhwn dyhb mdynkha lyrdna mebra akhsnthhwn qbylw dmnshh shbTa wplgwth wrawbn wgd akhsnthhwn aynwn yy lhwn dyhb mthnn alhn bynykwn llway khwlq lyth ary
However, the Levites have no portion among you; for the priesthood of Yahweh is their inheritance. Gad, Reuben, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance east of the Jordan, which Moses the servant of Yahweh gave them.”

וקמו גבריא ואזלו ופקיד יהושע ית דאזלו למכתב ית ארעא למימר אזילו והליכו בארעא וכתובו יתה ותובו לותי והכא ארמי לכון עדבין קדם יי בשלה:
bshlh yy qdm edbyn lkwn army whka lwthy wthwbw ythh wkthwbw barea whlykw azylw lmymr area yth lmkthb dazlw yth yhwshe wpqyd wazlw gbrya wqmw
The men arose and went. Joshua commanded those who went to survey the land, saying, “Go walk through the land, survey it, and come again to me. I will cast lots for you here before Yahweh in Shiloh.”

ואזלו גבריא ועברו בארעא וכתבוה לקרויא לשבעא חולקין על ספרא ואתו לות יהושע למשריתא לשלה:
lshlh lmshrytha yhwshe lwth wathw spra el khwlqyn lshbea lqrwya wkthbwh barea webrw gbrya wazlw
The men went and passed through the land, and surveyed it by cities into seven portions in a book. They came to Joshua to the camp at Shiloh.

ורמא להון יהושע עדבא בשלה קדם יי ופליג תמן יהושע ית ארעא לבני ישראל כפלגותהון:
kplgwthhwn yshral lbny area yth yhwshe thmn wplyg yy qdm bshlh edba yhwshe lhwn wrma
Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before Yahweh. There Joshua divided the land to the children of Israel according to their divisions.

וסליק עדבא שבטא דבני בנימן לזרעיתהון ונפק תחום עדביהון בין בני יהודה ובין בני יוסף:
ywsp bny wbyn yhwdh bny byn edbyhwn thkhwm wnpq lzreythhwn bnymn dbny shbTa edba wslyq
The lot of the tribe of the children of Benjamin came up according to their families. The border of their lot went out between the children of Judah and the children of Joseph.

והוה להון תחומא לרוח צפונא מן ירדנא וסליק תחומא לעיבר יריחו מצפונא וסליק בטורא לימא והון מפקנוהי למדבר בית און:
awn byth lmdbr mpqnwhy whwn lyma bTwra wslyq mtspwna yrykhw leybr thkhwma wslyq yrdna mn tspwna lrwkh thkhwma lhwn whwh
Their border on the north quarter was from the Jordan. The border went up to the side of Jericho on the north, and went up through the hill country westward. It ended at the wilderness of Beth Aven.

ועבר מתמן תחומא ללוז דלעבר דלוז דרומא היא בית אל ונחית תחומא עטרות אדר על טורא דמדרום לבית חורון ארעאה:
areah khwrwn lbyth dmdrwm Twra el adr eTrwth thkhwma wnkhyth al byth hya drwma dlwz dlebr llwz thkhwma mthmn webr
The border passed along from there to Luz, to the side of Luz (also called Bethel), southward. The border went down to Ataroth Addar, by the mountain that lies on the south of Beth Horon the lower.

ותאר תחומא ומסתחר לרוח מערבא לדרומא מן טורא די על אפי בית חורון דרומא והוון מפקנוהי על קרית בעל היא קרית יערים קרתא דבני יהודה דא רוח מערבא:
merba rwkh da yhwdh dbny qrtha yerym qryth hya bel qryth el mpqnwhy whwwn drwma khwrwn byth apy el dy Twra mn ldrwma merba lrwkh wmsthkhr thkhwma wthar
The border extended, and turned around on the west quarter southward, from the mountain that lies before Beth Horon southward; and ended at Kiriath Baal (also called Kiriath Jearim), a city of the children of Judah. This was the west quarter.

ורוח דרומא מסיפי קרית יערים ונפק תחומא לימא ונפיק למבועי מי נפתוח:
npthwkh my lmbwey wnpyq lyma thkhwma wnpq yerym qryth msypy drwma wrwkh
The south quarter was from the farthest part of Kiriath Jearim. The border went out westward, and went out to the spring of the waters of Nephtoah.

ונחית תחומא לסטר טורא די על אפי חילת בר הנם די במישר גבריא צפונא ונחית לחילת בר הנם לעיבר יבוס דרומא ונחית לעין קצרא:
qtsra leyn wnkhyth drwma ybws leybr hnm br lkhylth wnkhyth tspwna gbrya bmyshr dy hnm br khylth apy el dy Twra lsTr thkhwma wnkhyth
The border went down to the farthest part of the mountain that lies before the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is in the valley of Rephaim northward. It went down to the valley of Hinnom, to the side of the Jebusite southward, and went down to En Rogel.

ותאר מצפון ונפק לעין שמש ונפיק לגלילא די לקביל מסקנא דאדמים ונחית לאבן בוהן בר ראובן:
rawbn br bwhn labn wnkhyth dadmym msqna lqbyl dy lglyla wnpyq shmsh leyn wnpq mtspwn wthar
It extended northward, went out at En Shemesh, and went out to Geliloth, which is opposite the ascent of Adummim. It went down to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben.

ועבר לעיברא דלקביל מישרא צפונא ונחית לערבתה:
lerbthh wnkhyth tspwna myshra dlqbyl leybra webr
It passed along to the side opposite the Arabah northward, and went down to the Arabah.

ועבר תחומא לעיבר בית חגלה לצפונא והוון מפקנוהי דתחומה לכיף ימא דמלחא צפונא לסיפי ירדנא דרומא דין תחום דרומא:
drwma thkhwm dyn drwma yrdna lsypy tspwna dmlkha yma lkyp dthkhwmh mpqnwhy whwwn ltspwna khglh byth leybr thkhwma webr
The border passed along to the side of Beth Hoglah northward; and the border ended at the north bay of the Salt Sea, at the south end of the Jordan. This was the south border.

וירדנא תחומא ליה לרוח קידומא דא אחסנת בני בנימין לתחומהא סחור סחור לזרעיתהון:
lzreythhwn skhwr skhwr lthkhwmha bnymyn bny akhsnth da qydwma lrwkh lyh thkhwma wyrdna
The Jordan was its border on the east quarter. This was the inheritance of the children of Benjamin, by the borders around it, according to their families.

והוה קרויא לשבטא דבני בנימין לזרעיתהון יריחו ובית חגלה ומישר קציץ:
qtsyts wmyshr khglh wbyth yrykhw lzreythhwn bnymyn dbny lshbTa qrwya whwh
Now the cities of the tribe of the children of Benjamin according to their families were Jericho, Beth Hoglah, Emek Keziz,

וכפר העמונה והעפני וגבע קרוין תרתא עסרי ופצחיהן:
wptskhyhn esry thrtha qrwyn wgbe whepny hemwnh wkpr
Chephar Ammoni, Ophni, and Geba; twelve cities with their villages.

וצלע אלף ויבוסאי היא ירושלם גבעת קרית קרוין ארבע עסרי ופצחיהן דא אחסנת בני בנימין לזרעיתהון:
lzreythhwn bnymyn bny akhsnth da wptskhyhn esry arbe qrwyn qryth gbeth yrwshlm hya wybwsay alp wtsle
Zelah, Eleph, the Jebusite (also called Jerusalem), Gibeath, and Kiriath; fourteen cities with their villages. This is the inheritance of the children of Benjamin according to their families.
