ויהושע סיב על ביומין ואמר יי ליה את סבתא עלתא ביומין וארעא אשתארת סגיאה לחדא למירתה:
lmyrthh lkhda sgyah ashtharth warea bywmyn eltha sbtha ath lyh yy wamr bywmyn el syb wyhwshe
Now Joshua was old and well advanced in years. Yahweh said to him, “You are old and advanced in years, and there remains yet very much land to be possessed.

דא ארעא דאשתארת כל תחומי פלשתאי וכל גשוראי:
gshwray wkl plshthay thkhwmy kl dashtharth area da
“This is the land that still remains: all the regions of the Philistines, and all the Geshurites;

מן שיחור די על אפי מצרים ועד תחום עקרון צפונא על ארעא כנענאי תתמני חמשא טורני פלשתאי עזתאי ואשדודאי אשקלונאי גתאי ועקרונאי ועואי:
weway weqrwnay gthay ashqlwnay washdwday ezthay plshthay Twrny khmsha ththmny knenay area el tspwna eqrwn thkhwm wed mtsrym apy el dy shykhwr mn
from the Shihor, which is before Egypt, even to the border of Ekron northward, which is counted as Canaanite; the five lords of the Philistines; the Gazites, and the Ashdodites, the Ashkelonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites; also the Avvim,

מדרומא כל ארעא כנענאי ומערתא די לצידונאה עד אפק עד תחום אמוראה:
amwrah thkhwm ed apq ed ltsydwnah dy wmertha knenay area kl mdrwma
on the south; all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah that belongs to the Sidonians, to Aphek, to the border of the Amorites;

וארעא גבלי וכל לבנן מדנח שמשא ממישר גד שפולי טורא דחרמון עד מעלנא דחמת:
dkhmth melna ed dkhrmwn Twra shpwly gd mmyshr shmsha mdnkh lbnn wkl gbly warea
and the land of the Gebalites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrise, from Baal Gad under Mount Hermon to the entrance of Hamath;

כל יתבי טורא מן לבנן עד חרצי ימא כל צידונאי במימרי אתרכינון מן קדם בני ישראל לחוד פליגהא לישראל באחסנא כמא דפקידתך:
dpqydthk kma bakhsna lyshral plygha lkhwd yshral bny qdm mn athrkynwn bmymry tsydwnay kl yma khrtsy ed lbnn mn Twra ythby kl
all the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon to Misrephoth Maim, even all the Sidonians. I will drive them out from before the children of Israel. Just allocate it to Israel for an inheritance, as I have commanded you.

וכען פליג ית ארעא הדא באחסנא לתשעה שבטין ופלגות שבטא דמנשה:
dmnshh shbTa wplgwth shbTyn lthsheh bakhsna hda area yth plyg wken
Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance to the nine tribes and the half-tribe of Manasseh.”

עמיה שבטא דראובן ושבטא גד קבילו אחסנתהון דיהב להון משה בעברא דירדנא מדינחא כמא דיהב להון משה עבדא דיי:
dyy ebda mshh lhwn dyhb kma mdynkha dyrdna bebra mshh lhwn dyhb akhsnthhwn qbylw gd wshbTa drawbn shbTa emyh
With him the Reubenites and the Gadites received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond the Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of Yahweh gave them:

מערוער דעל כיף נחלא דארנון וקרתא די בגו נחלא וכל מישר מידבא עד דיבון:
dybwn ed mydba myshr wkl nkhla bgw dy wqrtha darnwn nkhla kyp del merwer
from Aroer, that is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain of Medeba to Dibon;

וכל קרוי סיחון מלכא דאמוראה די מלך בחשבון עד תחום בני עמון:
emwn bny thkhwm ed bkhshbwn mlk dy damwrah mlka sykhwn qrwy wkl
and all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, to the border of the children of Ammon;

וארעא גלעד ותחום גשוראה ואפיקירוס וכל טורא דחרמון וכל מתנן עד סלכה:
slkh ed mthnn wkl dkhrmwn Twra wkl wapyqyrws gshwrah wthkhwm gled warea
and Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maacathites, and all Mount Hermon, and all Bashan to Salecah;

כל מלכות עוג במתנן די מלך בעשתרות ובאדרעי והוא אשתאר משאר גבריא ומחנון משה ותרכינון:
wthrkynwn mshh wmkhnwn gbrya mshar ashthar whwa wbadrey beshthrwth mlk dy bmthnn ewg mlkwth kl
all the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei (who was left of the remnant of the Rephaim); for Moses attacked these, and drove them out.

ולא תריכו בני ישראל ית גשוראה וית אפיקירוס ויתיב גשוראה ואפיקירוס בגו ישראל עד יומא הדין:
hdyn ywma ed yshral bgw wapyqyrws gshwrah wythyb apyqyrws wyth gshwrah yth yshral bny thrykw wla
Nevertheless the children of Israel didn’t drive out the Geshurites, nor the Maacathites: but Geshur and Maacath live within Israel to this day.

לחוד לשבטא דלוי לא יהב אחסנא קורבניא דיי אלהא דישראל אינון אחסנתיה כמא דמלל ליה:
lyh dmll kma akhsnthyh aynwn dyshral alha dyy qwrbnya akhsna yhb la dlwy lshbTa lkhwd
Only he gave no inheritance to the tribe of Levi. The offerings of Yahweh, the God of Israel, made by fire are his inheritance, as he spoke to him.

ויהב משה לשבטא דבני ראובן לזרעיתהון:
lzreythhwn rawbn dbny lshbTa mshh wyhb
Moses gave to the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their families.
16
והוה להון תחומא מערוער די על כיף נחלא דארנון וקרתא די בגו נחלא וכל מישרא עד מידבא:
mydba ed myshra wkl nkhla bgw dy wqrtha darnwn nkhla kyp el dy merwer thkhwma lhwn whwh
Their border was from Aroer, that is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain by Medeba;

חשבון וכל קרוהא די במישרא דיבון ובמות בעל ובית בעל מעון:
mewn bel wbyth bel wbmwth dybwn bmyshra dy qrwha wkl khshbwn
Heshbon, and all its cities that are in the plain; Dibon, Bamoth Baal, Beth Baal Meon,

וקריתים ושבמה וצרת השחר בטורא דמישרא:
dmyshra bTwra hshkhr wtsrth wshbmh wqrythym
Kiriathaim, Sibmah, Zereth Shahar in the mount of the valley,
20
ובית פעור ומשפך מרמתא ובית ישמות:
yshmwth wbyth mrmtha wmshpk pewr wbyth
Beth Peor, the slopes of Pisgah, Beth Jeshimoth,

וכל קרוי מישרא וכל מלכות סיחון מלכא דאמוראה דמלך בחשבון דמחא משה יתיה וית רברבי מדין ית אוי וית רקם וית צור וית חור וית רבע רברבי סיחון יתבי ארעא:
area ythby sykhwn rbrby rbe wyth khwr wyth tswr wyth rqm wyth awy yth mdyn rbrby wyth ythyh mshh dmkha bkhshbwn dmlk damwrah mlka sykhwn mlkwth wkl myshra qrwy wkl
all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses struck with the chiefs of Midian, Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba, the princes of Sihon, who lived in the land.

וית בלעם בר בעור קסמא קטלו בני ישראל בחרבא על קטיליהון:
qTylyhwn el bkhrba yshral bny qTlw qsma bewr br blem wyth
The children of Israel also killed Balaam the son of Beor, the soothsayer, with the sword, among the rest of their slain.
23
והוה תחום בני ראובן ירדנא ותחומיה דא אחסנת בני ראובן לזרעיתהון קרויא ופצחיהן:
wptskhyhn qrwya lzreythhwn rawbn bny akhsnth da wthkhwmyh yrdna rawbn bny thkhwm whwh
The border of the children of Reuben was the bank of the Jordan. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben according to their families, the cities and its villages.

ויהב משה לשבטא דגד לבני גד לזרעיתהון:
lzreythhwn gd lbny dgd lshbTa mshh wyhb
Moses gave to the tribe of Gad, to the children of Gad, according to their families.
25
והוה להון תחומא יעזר וכל קרוי גלעד ופלגות ארעא בני עמון עד ערוער די על אפי רבה:
rbh apy el dy erwer ed emwn bny area wplgwth gled qrwy wkl yezr thkhwma lhwn whwh
Their border was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, to Aroer that is near Rabbah;

ומחשבון עד רמת מצפיא ובטונים וממחנים עד תחום לדביר:
ldbyr thkhwm ed wmmkhnym wbTwnym mtspya rmth ed wmkhshbwn
and from Heshbon to Ramath Mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim to the border of Debir;

ובמישרא בית הרם ובית נמרה וסכות וצפונא שאר מלכות סיחון מלכא דחשבון ירדנא ותחומיה עד סיפי ים גינוסר עברא דירדנא מדינחא:
mdynkha dyrdna ebra gynwsr ym sypy ed wthkhwmyh yrdna dkhshbwn mlka sykhwn mlkwth shar wtspwna wskwth nmrh wbyth hrm byth wbmyshra
and in the valley, Beth Haram, Beth Nimrah, Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, the Jordan’s bank, to the uttermost part of the sea of Chinnereth beyond the Jordan eastward.

דא אחסנת בני גד לזרעיתהון קרויא ופצחיהן:
wptskhyhn qrwya lzreythhwn gd bny akhsnth da
This is the inheritance of the children of Gad according to their families, the cities and its villages.
29
ויהב משה לפלגות שבטיא דמנשה והוה לפלגות שבטיא דבני מנשה לזרעיתהון:
lzreythhwn mnshh dbny shbTya lplgwth whwh dmnshh shbTya lplgwth mshh wyhb
Moses gave an inheritance to the half-tribe of Manasseh. It was for the half-tribe of the children of Manasseh according to their families.

והוה תחומיהון ממחנים כל מתנן כל מלכותיה דעוג מלכא דמתנן וכל כפרני יאיר דבמתנן שתין קרוין:
qrwyn shthyn dbmthnn yayr kprny wkl dmthnn mlka dewg mlkwthyh kl mthnn kl mmkhnym thkhwmyhwn whwh
Their border was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the villages of Jair, which are in Bashan, sixty cities.

ופלגות ארעא דגלעד ועשתרות ואדרעי קרויא מלכותיה דעוג במתנן לבני מכיר בר מנשה לפלגות בני מכיר לזרעיתהון:
lzreythhwn mkyr bny lplgwth mnshh br mkyr lbny bmthnn dewg mlkwthyh qrwya wadrey weshthrwth dgled area wplgwth
Half Gilead, Ashtaroth, and Edrei, the cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were for the children of Machir the son of Manasseh, even for the half of the children of Machir according to their families.
32
אלין די אחסין משה במישריא דמואב מעיברא לירדנא דיריחו מדינחא:
mdynkha dyrykhw lyrdna meybra dmwab bmyshrya mshh akhsyn dy alyn
These are the inheritances which Moses distributed in the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan at Jericho, eastward.

ולשבטא דלוי לא יהב משה אחסנא מתנן דיהב להון יי אלהא דישראל אינון אחסנתהון כמא דמליל להון:
lhwn dmlyl kma akhsnthhwn aynwn dyshral alha yy lhwn dyhb mthnn akhsna mshh yhb la dlwy wlshbTa
But Moses gave no inheritance to the tribe of Levi. Yahweh, the God of Israel, is their inheritance, as he spoke to them.
