ܘܟܕ ܫܡܥ ܐܕܘܢܨܕܩ ܡܠܟܐ ܕܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܕܟܒܫܗ̇ ܝܫܘܥ ܠܥܝ ܘܚܪܒܗ̇ ܘܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܥܒܕ ܠܐܝܪܝܚܘ ܘܠܡܠܟܗ̇ ܗܟܢܐ ܥܒܕ ܠܥܝ ܘܠܡܠܟܗ̇ ܘܕܐܫܠܡܘ ܥܡܘܪ̈ܐ ܕܓܒܥܘܢ ܥܡ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܘܗܘܘ ܒܝܢܬܗܘܢ

Now when Adoni-Zedek king of Jerusalem heard how Joshua had taken Ai, and had utterly destroyed it; as he had done to Jericho and her king, so he had done to Ai and her king; and how the inhabitants of Gibeon had made peace with Israel, and were among them,

ܕܚܠܘ ܛܒ ܡܛܘܠ ܕܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܗܝ ܪܒܬܐ ܓܒܥܘܢ ܐܝܟ ܚܕܐ ܡܢ ܡܕܝܢ̈ܬܐ ܕܡܠܟܘܬܐ ܘܪܒܐ ܗܘܬ ܡܢ ܥܝ ܘܟܠܗܘܢ ܓܒܪ̈ܝܗ̇ ܓܢܒܪ̈ܝܢ ܗܘܘ
hww gnbryn gbryh wklhwn ey mn hwth wrb' dmlkwth' mdynth' mn khd' 'yk gbewn rbth' hy dmdynth' mTwl Tb dkhlw
they were very afraid, because Gibeon was a great city, as one of the royal cities, and because it was greater than Ai, and all its men were mighty.

ܘܫܕܪ ܐܕܘܢܨܕܩ ܡܠܟܐ ܕܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܠܘܬ ܗܘܗܡ ܡܠܟܐ ܕܚܒܪܘܢ ܘܠܘܬ ܒܪܐܢ ܡܠܟܐ ܕܝܪܡܘܬ ܘܠܘܬ ܢܦܝܥ ܡܠܟܐ ܕܠܟܝܫ ܘܠܘܬ ܕܒܝܪ ܡܠܟܐ ܕܥܓܠܘܢ ܘܫܠܚ ܠܗܘܢ

Therefore Adoni-Zedek king of Jerusalem sent to Hoham king of Hebron, Piram king of Jarmuth, Japhia king of Lachish, and Debir king of Eglon, saying,

ܣܩܘ ܠܘܬܝ ܘܗܘܘ ܠܝ ܥܕܪܐ ܘܢܬܟܬܫ ܥܡ ܓܒܥܘܢ ܡܛܠ ܕܐܫܠܡܬ ܠܗ̇ ܥܡ ܝܫܘܥ ܘܥܡ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ
'ysryl wem yshwe em lh d'shlmth mTl gbewn em wnthkthsh edr' ly whww lwthy sqw
“Come up to me and help me. Let’s strike Gibeon; for they have made peace with Joshua and with the children of Israel.”

ܘܐܬܟܢܫܘ ܘܣܠܩܘ ܚܡܫܐ ܡ̈ܠܟܝܗܘܢ ܕܐܡܘܪ̈ܝܐ ܡܠܟܐ ܕܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܘܡܠܟܐ ܕܚܒܪܘܢ ܘܡܠܟܐ ܕܝܪܡܘܬ ܘܡܠܟܐ ܕܠܟܝܫ ܘܡܠܟܐ ܕܥܓܠܘܢ ܗܢܘܢ ܘܟܘܠܗܝܢ ܡܫܪ̈ܝܬܗܘܢ ܘܫܪܘ ܥܠ ܓܒܥܘܢ ܘܥܒܕܘ ܥܡܗ̇ ܩܪܒܐ
qrb' emh webdw gbewn el wshrw mshrythhwn wkwlhyn hnwn deglwn wmlk' dlkysh wmlk' dyrmwth wmlk' dkhbrwn wmlk' d'wrshlm mlk' d'mwry' mlkyhwn khmsh' wslqw w'thknshw
Therefore the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon, gathered themselves together and went up, they and all their armies, and encamped against Gibeon, and made war against it.

ܘܫܕܪܘ ܐ̈ܢܫܐ ܕܓܒܥܘܢ ܠܘܬ ܝܫܘܥ ܠܡܫܪܝܬܐ ܠܓܠܓܠܐ ܘܐܡܪܘ ܠܗ ܠܐ ܬܪܫܠ ܐ̈ܝܕܝܟ ܡܢ ܥܒ̈ܕܝܟ ܡܛܠ ܕܐܬܟܢܫܘ ܥܠܝܢ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܡܠܟܝ̈ܗܘܢ ܕܐܡܘܪ̈ܝܐ ܕܥ̇ܡܪܝܢ ܒܛܘܪܐ
bTwr' demryn d'mwry' mlkyhwn klhwn elyn d'thknshw mTl ebdyk mn 'ydyk thrshl l' lh w'mrw lglgl' lmshryth' yshwe lwth dgbewn 'nsh' wshdrw
The men of Gibeon sent to Joshua at the camp at Gilgal, saying, “Don’t abandon your servants! Come up to us quickly and save us! Help us; for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the hill country have gathered together against us.”

ܘܣܠܩ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܢ ܓܠܓܠܐ ܗܘ ܘܟܠܗ ܥܡܐ ܩܪ̈ܒܬܢܐ ܕܥܡܗ ܘܟܠܗܘܢ ܓܢܒܪ̈ܝ ܚܝܠܐ

So Joshua went up from Gilgal, he and the whole army with him, including all the mighty men of valor.

ܘܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܠܝܫܘܥ ܠܐ ܬܕܚܠ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܡܛܠ ܕܒܐ̈ܝܕܝܟ ܐܫ̇ܠܡܬ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܚܕ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܠܐ ܡܫܟܚ ܠܡܩܡ ܩܕܡܝܟ

Yahweh said to Joshua, “Don’t fear them, for I have delivered them into your hands. Not a man of them will stand before you.”

ܘܐܬܐ ܠܘܬܗܘܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܢ ܫܠܝܐ ܟܠܗ ܠܠܝܐ ܣܠܩ ܗܘܐ ܡܢ ܓܠܓܠܐ

Joshua therefore came to them suddenly. He marched from Gilgal all night.

ܘܕܠܚ ܐܢܘܢ ܡܪܝܐ ܩܕܡ ܐܝܣܪܐܝܠ ܘܡܚܘ ܐܢܘܢ ܡܚܘܬܐ ܪܒܬܐ ܒܓܒܥܘܢ ܕܒܝܬ ܚܘܪܢ ܘܪܕܦܘ ܐܢܘܢ ܒܐܘܪܚܐ ܕܡܣܩܢܐ ܕܒܝܬ ܚܘܪܢ ܘܚܪܒܘ ܐܢܘܢ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܥܩܪ ܘܥܕܡܐ ܠܡܩܪ
lmqr wedm' leqr edm' 'nwn wkhrbw khwrn dbyth dmsqn' b'wrkh' 'nwn wrdpw khwrn dbyth bgbewn rbth' mkhwth' 'nwn wmkhw 'ysr'yl qdm mry' 'nwn wdlkh
Yahweh confused them before Israel. He killed them with a great slaughter at Gibeon, and chased them by the way of the ascent of Beth Horon, and struck them to Azekah and to Makkedah.

ܘܟܕ ܥܪܩܘ ܡܢ ܩܕܡ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܘܢ̇ܚܬܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܒܡܚܬܬܐ ܕܒܝܬ ܚܘܪܢ ܘܡܪܝܐ ܫܕܐ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܟܐ̈ܦܐ ܪ̈ܘܪܒܬܐ ܡܢ ܫܡܝܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܥܩܪ ܘܡܝܬܘ ܘܣܓܝܐܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܕܡܝܬܘ ܒܟܐ̈ܦܐ ܕܒܪܕܐ ܡܢ ܗ̇ܢܘܢ ܕܚܪܒܘ ܒܢ̈ܝ ܐܝܣܪܐܝܠ ܒܚܪܒܐ
bkhrb' 'ysr'yl bny dkhrbw hnwn mn dbrd' bk'p' dmythw hww wsgy'yn wmythw leqr edm' shmy' mn rwrbth' k'p' elyhwn shd' wmry' khwrn dbyth bmkhthth' hww wnkhthyn 'ysryl qdm mn erqw wkd
As they fled from before Israel, while they were at the descent of Beth Horon, Yahweh hurled down great stones from the sky on them to Azekah, and they died. There were more who died from the hailstones than those whom the children of Israel killed with the sword.

ܗܝܕܝܢ ܡܠܠ ܝܫܘܥ ܩܕܡ ܡܪܝܐ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܕܐܫܠܡ ܡܪܝܐ ܠܐܡܘܪ̈ܝܐ ܩܕܡ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܘܐܡܪ ܝܫܘܥ ܩܕܡ ܒܢ̈ܝ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܫܡܫܐ ܒܓܒܥܘܢ ܟܬܪ ܘܐܢܬ ܣܗܪܐ ܒܦܩܥܬܐ ܕܐܝܠܘܢ
d'ylwn bpqeth' shr' w'nth kthr bgbewn shmsh' 'ysryl bny qdm yshwe w'mr 'ysryl qdm l'mwry' mry' d'shlm bywm' mry' qdm yshwe mll hydyn
Then Joshua spoke to Yahweh in the day when Yahweh delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel. He said in the sight of Israel, “Sun, stand still on Gibeon! You, moon, stop in the valley of Aijalon!”

ܘܟܬܪ ܫܡܫܐ ܘܣܗܪܐ ܩܡ ܥܕܡܐ ܕܐܬܦܪܥ ܥܡܐ ܡܢ ܒ̈ܥܠܕܒܒܘܗܝ ܘܗܐ ܟܬܝܒ ܒܣܦܪܐ ܕܬܫ̈ܒܚܬܐ ܘܩܡ ܫܡܫܐ ܒܦܠܓܘܬ ܫܡܝܐ ܘܠܐ ܣܪܗܒ ܠܡܥܪܒ ܘܗܘܐ ܐܝܟ ܝܘܡܐ ܫܠܡܐ

The sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the nation had avenged themselves of their enemies. Isn’t this written in the book of Jashar? The sun stayed in the middle of the sky, and didn’t hurry to go down about a whole day.

ܘܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܐܝܟ ܝܘܡܐ ܗ̇ܘ ܩܕܡܘܗܝ ܐܘ ܒܬܪܗ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܫܡܥ ܡܪܝܐ ܒܩܠܗ ܕܝܫܘܥ ܡܛܠ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܥ̇ܒܕ ܗܘܐ ܩܪܒܐ ܠܐܝܣܪܝܠ
l'ysryl qrb' hw' ebd dmry' mTl dyshwe bqlh mry' dshme 'ykn' bthrh 'w qdmwhy hw ywm' 'yk hw' wl'
There was no day like that before it or after it, that Yahweh listened to the voice of a man; for Yahweh fought for Israel.

ܘܗܦܟ ܝܫܘܥ ܘܟܠܗ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܥܡܗ ܠܡܫܪܝܬܐ ܠܓܠܓܠܐ

Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, to the camp to Gilgal.

ܘܥܪܩܘ ܚܡܫܐ ܡ̈ܠܟܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܘܐܬܛܫܝܘ ܒܡܥܪܬܐ ܕܡܩܪ
dmqr bmerth' w'thTshyw hlyn mlk' khmsh' werqw
These five kings fled, and hid themselves in the cave at Makkedah.

ܘܐܫܬܡܥ ܠܝܫܘܥ ܘܐܡܪܘ ܠܗ ܕܐܫܬܟܚܘ ܚܡܫܐ ܡ̈ܠܟܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܟܕ ܛܫܝܢ ܒܡܥܪܬܐ ܕܡܩܪ
dmqr bmerth' Tshyn kd hlyn mlk' khmsh' d'shthkkhw lh w'mrw lyshwe w'shthme
Joshua was told, saying, “The five kings have been found, hidden in the cave at Makkedah.”

ܘܐܡܪ ܝܫܘܥ ܥܓܠܘ ܟܐ̈ܦܐ ܪ̈ܘܪܒܬܐ ܘܐܪܡܘ ܥܠ ܬܪܥܗ̇ ܕܡܥܪܬܐ ܘܫܒܘܩܘ ܬܡܢ ܓܒܪ̈ܐ ܕܢܛܪܘܢ ܐܢܘܢ
'nwn dnTrwn gbr' thmn wshbwqw dmerth' threh el w'rmw rwrbth' k'p' eglw yshwe w'mr
Joshua said, “Roll large stones to cover the cave’s entrance, and set men by it to guard them;

ܐܢܬܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܠܐ ܬܩܘܡܘܢ ܐܠܐ ܪܕܘܦܘ ܒܬܪ ܒ̈ܥܠܕܒܒܝܟܘܢ ܘܐܕܪܟܘ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܠܐ ܬܫܒܩܘܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܕܢܥܠܘܢ ܠܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܐܫܠܡ ܐܢܘܢ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܟܘܢ ܒܐ̈ܝܕܝܟܘܢ
b'ydykwn 'lhkwn mry' 'nwn d'shlm mTl lmdynth' dnelwn 'nwn thshbqwn wl' 'nwn w'drkw beldbbykwn bthr rdwpw 'l' thqwmwn l' dyn 'nthwn
but don’t stay there. Pursue your enemies, and attack them from the rear. Don’t allow them to enter into their cities; for Yahweh your God has delivered them into your hand.”

ܘܟܕ ܓܡܪ ܝܫܘܥ ܘܒܢ̈ܝ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܠܡܚܪܒ ܐܢܘܢ ܚܪܒܐ ܪܒܬܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܕܓܡܪܘ ܘܣܪܝܕܐ ܠܐ ܐܫܬܚܪ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܘܐܥܠܘ ܠܗ̇ܢܘܢ ܡܪ̈ܝܕܐ ܕܓܒܥܘܢ ܠܟܪܟܗܘܢ
lkrkhwn dgbewn mryd' lhnwn w'elw mnhwn 'shthkhr l' wsryd' dgmrw edm' rbth' khrb' 'nwn lmkhrb 'ysryl wbny yshwe gmr wkd
When Joshua and the children of Israel had finished killing them with a very great slaughter until they were consumed, and the remnant which remained of them had entered into the fortified cities,

ܗܝܕܝܢ ܗܦܟܘ ܟܠܗ ܥܡܐ ܠܡܫܪܝܬܐ ܠܘܬ ܝܫܘܥ ܠܡܩܪ ܒܫܠܡܐ ܘܠܐ ܐܗܪܘ ܡܢ ܕܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܓܒܪ ܒܠܫܢܗ
blshnh gbr 'ysryl dbyth mn 'hrw wl' bshlm' lmqr yshwe lwth lmshryth' em' klh hpkw hydyn
all the people returned to the camp to Joshua at Makkedah in peace. None moved his tongue against any of the children of Israel.

ܘܐܡܪ ܝܫܘܥ ܦܬܚܘ ܦܘܡܗ̇ ܕܡܥܪܬܐ ܘܐܦܩܘ ܠܝ ܠܚܡܫ̈ܬܝܗܘܢ ܡ̈ܠܟܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܡܢ ܡܥܪܬܐ
merth' mn hlyn mlk' lkhmshthyhwn ly w'pqw dmerth' pwmh pthkhw yshwe w'mr
Then Joshua said, “Open the cave entrance, and bring those five kings out of the cave to me.”

ܘܥܒܕܘ ܐܝܟ ܕܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܘܐܦܩܘ ܠܘܬܗ ܠܚܡܫ̈ܬܝܗܘܢ ܡ̈ܠܟܐ ܡܢ ܡܥܪܬܐ ܠܡܠܟܐ ܕܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܘܠܡܠܟܐ ܕܚܒܪܘܢ ܘܠܡܠܟܐ ܕܝܪܡܘܬ ܘܠܡܠܟܐ ܕܠܟܝܫ ܘܠܡܠܟܐ ܕܥܓܠܘܢ
deglwn wlmlk' dlkysh wlmlk' dyrmwth wlmlk' dkhbrwn wlmlk' d'wrshlm lmlk' merth' mn mlk' lkhmshthyhwn lwthh w'pqw yshwe lhwn d'mr 'yk webdw
They did so, and brought those five kings out of the cave to him: the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon.

ܘܟܕ ܐܦܩܘ ܐܢܘܢ ܠܡ̈ܠܟܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܠܘܬ ܝܫܘܥ ܩܪܐ ܝܫܘܥ ܠܟܠܗܘܢ ܫ̈ܠܝܛܢܐ ܥ̇ܒ̈ܕܝ ܩܪܒܐ ܕܡܗܠܟܝܢ ܥܡܗ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܩܪܘܒܘ ܘܣܝܡܘ ܪ̈ܓܠܝܟܘܢ ܥܠ ܨܘܪ̈ܝܗܘܢ ܕܡ̈ܠܟܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܘܩܪܒܘ ܘܣܡܘ ܪ̈ܓܠܝܗܘܢ ܥܠ ܨܘܪ̈ܝܗܘܢ ܕܡ̈ܠܟܐ ܗܠܝܢ

When they brought those kings out to Joshua, Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said to the chiefs of the men of war who went with him, “Come near. Put your feet on the necks of these kings.” They came near, and put their feet on their necks.

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܠܐ ܬܕܚܠܘܢ ܘܠܐ ܬܙܘܥܘܢ ܐܬܚܝܠܘ ܘܐܬܥܫܢܘ ܡܛܠ ܕܗܟܢܐ ܥ̇ܒܕ ܡܪܝܐ ܠܟܠܗܘܢ ܒ̈ܥܠܕܒܒܝܟܘܢ ܕܡܬܟܬܫܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܥܡܗܘܢ
emhwn 'nthwn dmthkthshyn beldbbykwn lklhwn mry' ebd dhkn' mTl w'theshnw 'thkhylw thzwewn wl' thdkhlwn l' yshwe lhwn w'mr
Joshua said to them, “Don’t be afraid, nor be dismayed. Be strong and courageous, for Yahweh will do this to all your enemies against whom you fight.”

ܘܒܬܪ ܗܝܕܝܢ ܩܛܠ ܐܢܘܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܘܙܩܦ ܐܢܘܢ ܥܠ ܚܡܫܐ ܩܝܣ̈ܝܢ ܘܗܘܘ ܙܩܝܦܝܢ ܥܠ ܩܝܣ̈ܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܪܡܫܐ

Afterward Joshua struck them, put them to death, and hanged them on five trees. They were hanging on the trees until the evening.

ܘܒܙܒܢܐ ܕܡܥܪ̈ܒܝ ܫܡܫܐ ܦܩܕ ܝܫܘܥ ܘܐܚܬܘ ܐܢܘܢ ܡܢ ܩܝܣ̈ܐ ܠܙܩܝ̈ܦܐ ܘܐܪܡܝܘ ܐܢܘܢ ܒܡܥܪܬܐ ܕܛܫܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܒܗ̇ ܘܣܡܘ ܟܐ̈ܦܐ ܪ̈ܘܪܒܬܐ ܥܠ ܦܘܡܗ̇ ܕܡܥܪܬܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܝܘܡܢܐ

At the time of the going down of the sun, Joshua commanded, and they took them down off the trees, and threw them into the cave in which they had hidden themselves, and laid great stones on the mouth of the cave, which remain to this very day.

ܘܠܡܩܪ ܟܒܫ ܝܫܘܥ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܗ̇ܘ ܘܚܪܒܗ̇ ܒܦܘܡܐ ܕܚܪܒܐ ܘܠܡܠܟܗ̇ ܘܠܟܠ ܕܐܝܬ ܒܗ̇ ܩܛܠ ܘܠܐ ܫܒܩ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܣܪܝܕܐ ܘܥܒܕ ܠܡܠܟܐ ܕܡܩܪ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܥܒܕ ܠܡܠܟܐ ܕܐܝܪܝܚܘܢ
d'yrykhwn lmlk' debd 'ykn' dmqr lmlk' webd sryd' mnhwn shbq wl' qTl bh d'yth wlkl wlmlkh dkhrb' bpwm' wkhrbh hw bywm' yshwe kbsh wlmqr
Joshua took Makkedah on that day, and struck it with the edge of the sword, with its king. He utterly destroyed it and all the souls who were in it. He left no one remaining. He did to the king of Makkedah as he had done to the king of Jericho.

ܘܥܒܪ ܝܫܘܥ ܘܟܠܗ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܥܡܗ ܡܢ ܡܩܪ ܠܠܒܢܐ ܘܐܬܟܬܫ ܥܡ ܠܒܢܐ

d'yrykhw lmlk' debd 'yk lmlkh yshwe webd sryd' bh shbq wl' bh hwy d'yth npshth' wlkl dkhrb' bpwm' wlmlkh wkhrbwh d'ysryl b'yd' lh 'p mry' w'shlmh
Yahweh delivered it also, with its king, into the hand of Israel. He struck it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls who were in it. He left no one remaining in it. He did to its king as he had done to the king of Jericho.

ܘܐܫܠܡܗ̇ ܡܪܝܐ ܠܠܟܝܫ ܒܐܝܕܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܘܟܒܫܗ̇ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܕܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܘܚܪܒܗ̇ ܒܦܘܡܐ ܕܣܝܦܐ ܘܠܟܠܗܝܢ ܢܦܫ̈ܬܐ ܕܐܝܬ ܗܘ̈ܝ ܒܗ̇ ܐܝܟ ܕܥܒܕ ܠܠܒܢܐ

Yahweh delivered Lachish into the hand of Israel. He took it on the second day, and struck it with the edge of the sword, with all the souls who were in it, according to all that he had done to Libnah.

Then Horam king of Gezer came up to help Lachish; and Joshua struck him and his people, until he had left him no one remaining.

ܘܟܒܫܗ̇ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܗ̇ܘ ܘܚܪܒܗ̇ ܒܦܘܡܐ ܕܣܝܦܐ ܘܠܟܠ ܢܦܫ̈ܬܐ ܕܐܝܬ ܗܘ̈ܝ ܒܗ̇ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܥܒܕ ܠܠܟܝܫ

They took it on that day, and struck it with the edge of the sword. He utterly destroyed all the souls who were in it that day, according to all that he had done to Lachish.

Joshua went up from Eglon, and all Israel with him, to Hebron; and they fought against it.

So Joshua struck all the land, the hill country, the South, the lowland, the slopes, and all their kings. He left no one remaining, but he utterly destroyed all that breathed, as Yahweh, the God of Israel, commanded.

Joshua struck them from Kadesh Barnea even to Gaza, and all the country of Goshen, even to Gibeon.

l'ysryl qrb' ebd whwyw emh d'ysryl 'lh' dmry' mTl khd bzbn' yshwe kbsh wl'thrwthhwn hlyn mlk' wlklhwn
Joshua took all these kings and their land at one time because Yahweh, the God of Israel, fought for Israel.
