ܠܐ ܢܬܕܘܕ ܠܒܟܘܢ ܗܝܡܢܘ ܒܐܠܗܐ ܘܒܝ ܗܝܡܢܘ

“Don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me.

ܣܓܝܐܝܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܐܘܢܐ ܒܝܬ ܐܒܝ ܘܐܠܐ ܐܡܪ ܗܘܝܬ ܠܟܘܢ ܕܐܙܠ ܐܢܐ ܕܐܛܝܒ ܠܟܘܢ ܐܬܪܐ
'thr' lkwn d'Tyb 'n' d'zl lkwn hwyth 'mr w'l' 'by byth 'wn' 'nwn sgy'yn
In my Father’s house are many homes. If it weren’t so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you.

ܘܐܢ ܐܙܠ ܐܛܝܒ ܠܟܘܢ ܐܬܪܐ ܬܘܒ ܐܬܐ ܘܐܕܒܪܟܘܢ ܠܘܬܝ ܕܐܝܟܐ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܝܬܝ ܐܦ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܬܗܘܘܢ

If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also.

ܘܠܐܝܟܐ ܕܐܙܠ ܐܢܐ ܝܕܥܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܘܐܘܪܚܐ ܝܕܥܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ
'nthwn ydeyn w'wrkh' 'nthwn ydeyn 'n' d'zl wl'yk'
Where I go, you know, and you know the way.”

ܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܬܐܘܡܐ ܡܪܢ ܠܐ ܝܕܥܝܢܢ ܠܐܝܟܐ ܐܙܠ ܐܢܬ ܘܐܝܟܢܐ ܡܫܟܚܝܢ ܚܢܢ ܐܘܪܚܐ ܠܡܕܥ

Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going. How can we know the way?”

ܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܝܫܘܥ ܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܐܘܪܚܐ ܘܫܪܪܐ ܘܚܝܐ ܠܐ ܐܢܫ ܐܬܐ ܠܘܬ ܐܒܝ ܐܠܐ ܐܢ ܒܝ

Jesus said to him,
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

ܐܠܘ ܠܝ ܝܕܥܝܢ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܐܦ ܠܐܒܝ ܝܕܥܝܢ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܘܡܢ ܗܫܐ ܝܕܥܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܠܗ ܘܚܙܝܬܘܢܝܗܝ

If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on, you know him, and have seen him.”

ܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܦܝܠܝܦܘܣ ܡܪܢ ܚܘܢ ܐܒܐ ܘܟܕܘ ܠܢ

Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.”

ܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܝܫܘܥ ܗܢܐ ܟܠܗ ܙܒܢܐ ܥܡܟܘܢ ܐܢܐ ܘܠܐ ܝܕܥܬܢܝ ܦܝܠܝܦܐ ܡܢ ܕܠܝ ܚܙܐ ܚܙܐ ܠܐܒܐ ܘܐܝܟܢܐ ܐܢܬ ܐܡܪ ܐܢܬ ܚܘܢ ܐܒܐ
'b' khwn 'nth 'mr 'nth w'ykn' l'b' khz' khz' dly mn pylyp' ydethny wl' 'n' emkwn zbn' klh hn' yshwe lh 'mr
Jesus said to him,
“Have I been with you such a long time, and do you not know me, Philip? He who has seen me has seen the Father. How do you say, ‘Show us the Father?’

ܠܐ ܡܗܝܡܢ ܐܢܬ ܕܐܢܐ ܒܐܒܝ ܘܐܒܝ ܒܝ ܡܠܐ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܡܡܠܠ ܐܢܐ ܡܢ ܢܦܫܝ ܠܐ ܡܡܠܠ ܐܢܐ ܐܒܝ ܕܝܢ ܕܒܝ ܥܡܪ ܗܘ ܥܒܕ ܥܒܕܐ ܗܠܝܢ

Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I tell you, I speak not from myself; but the Father who lives in me does his works.

ܗܝܡܢܘ ܕܐܢܐ ܒܐܒܝ ܘܐܒܝ ܒܝ ܘܐܠܐ ܐܦܢ ܡܛܠ ܥܒܕܐ ܗܝܡܢܘ

Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me; or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

ܐܡܝܢ ܐܡܝܢ ܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܕܡܢ ܕܡܗܝܡܢ ܒܝ ܥܒܕܐ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܥܒܕ ܐܢܐ ܐܦ ܗܘ ܢܥܒܕ ܘܕܝܬܝܪܝܢ ܡܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܢܥܒܕ ܕܐܢܐ ܠܘܬ ܐܒܐ ܐܙܠ ܐܢܐ

Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father.

ܘܡܕܡ ܕܬܫܐܠܘܢ ܒܫܡܝ ܐܥܒܕ ܠܟܘܢ ܕܢܫܬܒܚ ܐܒܐ ܒܒܪܗ

Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

ܘܐܢ ܬܫܐܠܘܢܢܝ ܒܫܡܝ ܐܢܐ ܥܒܕܢܐ
ebdn' 'n' bshmy thsh'lwnny w'n
If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.

ܐܢ ܪܚܡܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܠܝ ܦܘܩܕܢܝ ܛܪܘ
Trw pwqdny ly 'nthwn rkhmyn 'n
If you love me, keep my commandments.

ܘܐܢܐ ܐܒܥܐ ܡܢ ܐܒܝ ܘܐܚܪܢܐ ܦܪܩܠܛܐ ܢܬܠ ܠܟܘܢ ܕܢܗܘܐ ܥܡܟܘܢ ܠܥܠܡ

I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor,
that he may be with you forever,—

ܪܘܚܐ ܕܫܪܪܐ ܗܘ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܠܐ ܡܫܟܚ ܠܡܩܒܠܘܬܗ ܡܛܠ ܕܠܐ ܚܙܝܗܝ ܘܠܐ ܝܕܥܗ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܝܕܥܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܠܗ ܕܠܘܬܟܘܢ ܥܡܪ ܘܒܟܘܢ ܗܘ
hw wbkwn emr dlwthkwn lh 'nthwn ydeyn dyn 'nthwn ydeh wl' khzyhy dl' mTl lmqblwthh mshkkh l' delm' hw dshrr' rwkh'
the Spirit of truth, whom the world can’t receive; for it doesn’t see him, neither knows him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you.

ܠܐ ܫܒܩ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܝܬܡܐ ܐܬܐ ܐܢܐ ܓܝܪ ܠܘܬܟܘܢ ܩܠܝܠ ܐܚܪܝܢ
'khryn qlyl lwthkwn gyr 'n' 'th' ythm' lkwn 'n' shbq l'
I will not leave you orphans. I will come to you.

ܘܥܠܡܐ ܠܐ ܚܙܐ ܠܝ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܬܚܙܘܢܢܝ ܕܐܢܐ ܚܝ ܐܦ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܬܚܘܢ
thkhwn 'nthwn 'p khy d'n' thkhzwnny dyn 'nthwn ly khz' l' welm'
Yet a little while, and the world will see me no more; but you will see me. Because I live, you will live also.

ܒܗܘ ܝܘܡܐ ܬܕܥܘܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܒܐܒܝ ܘܐܢܬܘܢ ܒܝ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܘܐܢܐ ܒܟܘܢ ܐܢܐ
'n' bkwn w'n' 'nthwn by w'nthwn b'by d'n' thdewn ywm' bhw
In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.

ܡܢ ܕܐܝܬ ܠܘܬܗ ܦܘܩܕܢܝ ܘܢܛܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܗܘ ܗܘ ܡܚܒ ܠܝ ܗܘ ܕܝܢ ܕܪܚܡ ܠܝ ܢܬܪܚܡ ܡܢ ܐܒܝ ܘܐܢܐ ܐܪܚܡܝܘܗܝ ܘܐܚܘܝܘܗܝ ܢܦܫܝ

One who has my commandments, and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.”

ܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܝܗܘܕܐ ܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܣܟܪܝܘܛܐ ܡܪܝ ܡܢܘ ܠܢ ܥܬܝܕ ܐܢܬ ܠܡܚܘܝܘ ܢܦܫܟ ܘܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܠܥܠܡܐ

Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, what has happened that you are about to reveal yourself to us, and not to the world?”

ܥܢܐ ܝܫܘܥ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܡܢ ܕܪܚܡ ܠܝ ܡܠܬܝ ܢܛܪ ܘܐܒܝ ܢܪܚܡܝܘܗܝ ܘܠܘܬܗ ܐܬܝܢ ܚܢܢ ܘܐܘܢܐ ܠܘܬܗ ܥܒܕܝܢ ܚܢܢ

Jesus answered him,
“If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our home with him.

ܗܘ ܕܝܢ ܕܠܐ ܪܚܡ ܠܝ ܡܠܬܝ ܠܐ ܢܛܪ ܘܡܠܬܐ ܗܕܐ ܕܫܡܥܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܠܐ ܗܘܬ ܕܝܠܝ ܐܠܐ ܕܐܒܐ ܕܫܕܪܢܝ
dshdrny d'b' 'l' dyly hwth l' 'nthwn dshmeyn hd' wmlth' nTr l' mlthy ly rkhm dl' dyn hw
He who doesn’t love me doesn’t keep my words. The word which you hear isn’t mine, but the Father’s who sent me.

ܗܠܝܢ ܡܠܠܬ ܥܡܟܘܢ ܟܕ ܠܘܬܟܘܢ ܐܝܬܝ
'ythy lwthkwn kd emkwn mllth hlyn
I have said these things to you, while still living with you.

ܗܘ ܕܝܢ ܦܪܩܠܛܐ ܪܘܚܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܐ ܗܘ ܕܡܫܕܪ ܐܒܝ ܒܫܡܝ ܗܘ ܢܠܦܟܘܢ ܟܠܡܕܡ ܘܗܘ ܢܥܗܕܟܘܢ ܟܠ ܡܐ ܕܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ
lkwn 'n' d'mr m' kl nehdkwn whw klmdm nlpkwn hw bshmy 'by dmshdr hw dqwdsh' rwkh' prqlT' dyn hw
But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.

ܫܠܡܐ ܫܒܩ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܫܠܡܐ ܕܝܠܝ ܝܗܒ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܝܗܒ ܥܠܡܐ ܐܢܐ ܝܗܒ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܠܐ ܢܬܕܘܕ ܠܒܟܘܢ ܘܠܐ ܢܕܚܠ
ndkhl wl' lbkwn nthdwd l' lkwn 'n' yhb 'n' elm' dyhb 'ykn' hw' l' lkwn 'n' yhb dyly shlm' lkwn 'n' shbq shlm'
Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.

ܫܡܥܬܘܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܡܪܬ ܠܟܘܢ ܕܐܙܠ ܐܢܐ ܘܐܬܐ ܐܢܐ ܠܘܬܟܘܢ ܐܠܘ ܪܚܡܝܢ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܠܝ ܚܕܝܢ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܕܐܙܠ ܐܢܐ ܠܘܬ ܐܒܝ ܕܐܒܝ ܪܒ ܗܘ ܡܢܝ
mny hw rb d'by 'by lwth 'n' d'zl hwythwn khdyn ly hwythwn rkhmyn 'lw lwthkwn 'n' w'th' 'n' d'zl lkwn 'mrth d'n' shmethwn
You heard how I told you, ‘I go away, and I come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I said ‘I am going to my Father;’ for the Father is greater than I.

ܘܗܫܐ ܗܐ ܐܡܪܬ ܠܟܘܢ ܥܕܠܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܕܡܐ ܕܗܘܐ ܬܗܝܡܢܘܢ

Now I have told you before it happens so that, when it happens, you may believe.

ܡܟܝܠ ܠܐ ܐܡܠܠ ܥܡܟܘܢ ܣܓܝܐܬܐ ܐܬܐ ܓܝܪ ܐܪܟܘܢܗ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܘܒܝ ܠܝܬ ܠܗ ܡܕܡ
mdm lh lyth wby delm' 'rkwnh gyr 'th' sgy'th' emkwn 'mll l' mkyl
I will no more speak much with you, for the prince of the world comes, and he has nothing in me.
