ܝ̇ܕܥ ܐܢܐ ܕܗܠܝܢ ܟܠܗܝܢ ܡܨܐ ܐܢܬ ܚܝܠܐ ܠܡܥܒܕ ܘܠܐ ܡܬܛܫܝܐ ܡܢܟ ܬܪܥܝܬܐ

“I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be restrained.

ܡܢܘ ܗܢܐ ܕܡܬܪܥܐ ܬܪܥܝܬܐ ܒܡ̈ܠܐ ܕܠܐ ܐܝܕܥܬܐ ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܚܘܝܬܢܝ ܕܠܐ ܐܬܒܝܢܬ ܘܠܐ ܝܕܥܬ ܕܪ̈ܘܪܒܢ ܡܢܝ
mny drwrbn ydeth wl' 'thbynth dl' khwythny hn' mTl 'ydeth' dl' bml' threyth' dmthre' hn' mnw
You asked, ‘Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge?’ therefore I have uttered that which I didn’t understand, things too wonderful for me, which I didn’t know.

ܫܡܥܝܢܝ ܘܐܢܐ ܐܡܠܠ ܐܫܐܠܟ ܐܘܕܥܝܢܝ
'wdeyny 'sh'lk 'mll w'n' shmeyny
You said, ‘Listen, now, and I will speak; I will question you, and you will answer me.’

ܠܫܡܥܐ ܗܘ ܕܐܕܢܐ ܫܡܥܬܟ ܘܗܫܐ ܥܝܢܝ ܗܐ ܚܙܬܟ
khzthk h' eyny whsh' shmethk d'dn' hw lshme'
I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you.

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܐܫܬܘܩ ܘܐܬܢܚܡ ܥܠ ܥܦܪܐ ܘܥܠ ܩܛܡܐ
qTm' wel epr' el w'thnkhm 'shthwq hn' mTl
Therefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.”

ܘܗܘܐ ܡܢ ܒܬܪ ܕܡܠܠ ܡܪܝܐ ܦܬ̈ܓܡܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܥܡ ܐܝܘܒ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܠܐܠܝܦܙ ܬܝܡܢܝܐ ܐܬܚܡܬ ܪܘܓܙܝ ܥܠܝܟ ܘܥܠ ܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܚܒܪ̈ܝܟ ܡܛܘܠ ܕܠܐ ܐܡܪܬܘܢ ܩܕܡܝ ܟܐܢܘܬܐ ܐܝܟ ܥܒܕܝ ܐܝܘܒ
'ywb ebdy 'yk k'nwth' qdmy 'mrthwn dl' mTwl khbryk thryn wel elyk rwgzy 'thkhmth thymny' l'lypz mry' 'mr 'ywb em hlyn pthgm' mry' dmll bthr mn whw'
It was so, that after Yahweh had spoken these words to Job, Yahweh said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My wrath is kindled against you, and against your two friends; for you have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has.

ܗܫܐ ܣܒܘ ܠܟܘܢ ܫܒܥܐ ܬܘܪ̈ܝܢ ܘܫܒܥܐ ܕܟܪ̈ܝܢ ܘܙܠܘ ܠܘܬ ܥܒܕܝ ܐܝܘܒ ܘܢܣܩ ܩܘܪܒܢܐ ܚܠܦܝܟܘܢ ܘܥܒܕܝ ܐܝܘܒ ܢܨܠܐ ܥܠܝܟܘܢ ܘܐܥܒܕ ܒܐ̈ܦܘܗܝ ܕܠܐ ܐܥܒܕܟܘܢ ܒܩܠܠܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܠܐ ܐܡܪܬܘܢ ܩܕܡܝ ܟܐܢܘܬܐ ܐܝܟ ܥܒܕܝ ܐܝܘܒ

Now therefore, take to yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you, for I will accept him, that I not deal with you according to your folly. For you have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has.”

ܘܐܙܠܘ ܐܠܝܦܙ ܬܝܡܢܝܐ ܘܒܠܕܕ ܫܘܚܝܐ ܘܨܘܦܪ ܢܥܡܬܝܐ ܘܥܒܕܘ ܐܝܟ ܕܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܥܒܕ ܡܪܝܐ ܒܐ̈ܦܘܗܝ ܕܐܝܘܒ
d'ywb b'pwhy mry' webd mry' lhwn d'mr 'yk webdw nemthy' wtswpr shwkhy' wbldd thymny' 'lypz w'zlw
So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did what Yahweh commanded them, and Yahweh accepted Job.

ܘܡܪܝܐ ܐܗܦܟ ܫܒܝܬܗ ܕܐܝܘܒ ܟܕ ܡܨܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܥܠ ܪ̈ܚܡܘܗܝ ܘܐܘܣܦ ܡܪܝܐ ܥܠ ܟܠܡܕܡ ܕܐܝܬ ܗܘܐ ܠܗ ܠܐܝܘܒ ܐܥܦܐ
'ep' l'ywb lh hw' d'yth klmdm el mry' w'wsp rkhmwhy el hw' mtsl' kd d'ywb shbythh 'hpk wmry'
Yahweh restored Job’s prosperity when he prayed for his friends. Yahweh gave Job twice as much as he had before.

ܘܐܬܘ ܠܘܬܗ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܐ̈ܚܘܗܝ ܘܐ̈ܚܘܬܗ ܘܟܘܠ ܕܝܕܥܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܠܗ ܡܢ ܩܕܝܡ ܘܐܟܠܘ ܠܚܡܐ ܥܡܗ ܒܒܝܬܗ ܕܐܟܪܝܘ ܗܘܘ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܘܒܝܐܘܗܝ ܡܢ ܟܠܗܝܢ ܒܝܫ̈ܬܐ ܕܐܝܬܝ ܡܪܝܐ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܘܝܗܒܘ ܠܗ ܓܒܪ ܚܕܐ ܚܕܐ ܢܩܝܐ ܘܚܕ ܚܕ ܩܕܫܐ ܕܕܗܒܐ

Then all his brothers, all his sisters, and all those who had been of his acquaintance before, came to him and ate bread with him in his house. They comforted him, and consoled him concerning all the evil that Yahweh had brought on him. Everyone also gave him a piece of money, and everyone a ring of gold.

ܘܡܪܝܐ ܒܪܟ ܐܚܪܝܬܗ ܕܐܝܘܒ ܛܒ ܡܢ ܩܕܡܝܬܗ ܘܗܘܘ ܠܗ ܐܪ̈ܒܬܥܣܪ ܐ̈ܠܦܝܢ ܥܢܐ ܘܫܬܐ ܐ̈ܠܦܝܢ ܓܡ̈ܠܐ ܘܐܠܦ ܦܕܢܝ̈ܢ ܕܬܘܪ̈ܐ ܘܐܠܦ ܐܬܢ̈ܝܢ

So Yahweh blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand female donkeys.

ܘܗܘܘ ܠܗ ܫܒܥܐ ܒ̈ܢܝܢ ܘܬܠܬ ܒ̈ܢܢ

He had also seven sons and three daughters.

ܘܩܪܐ ܫܡܗ̇ ܕܚܕܐ ܡܢܗܝܢ ܐܝܡܡܐ ܘܫܡܐ ܕܬܪ̈ܬܝܢ ܩܨܘܥܐ ܘܫܡܐ ܕܬܠܬ ܩܪܢܦܘܟ

He called the name of the first, Jemimah; and the name of the second, Keziah; and the name of the third, Keren Happuch.

ܘܠܐ ܐܫܬܟܚ ܢܫ̈ܐ ܕܫܦܝܪ̈ܢ ܐܝܟ ܒܢ̈ܬܗ ܕܐܝܘܒ ܒܟܠܗ̇ ܐܪܥܐ ܘܝܗܒ ܠܗܝܢ ܐܒܘܗܝܢ ܝܘܪܬܢܐ ܥܡ ܐ̈ܚܝܗܝܢ
'khyhyn em ywrthn' 'bwhyn lhyn wyhb 're' bklh d'ywb bnthh 'yk dshpyrn nsh' 'shthkkh wl'
In all the land were no women found so beautiful as the daughters of Job. Their father gave them an inheritance among their brothers.

ܘܚܝܐ ܐܝܘܒ ܡܢ ܒܬܪ ܗܝܕܝܢ ܡܐܐ ܘܐܪ̈ܒܥܝܢ ܫ̈ܢܝܢ ܘܚܙܐ ܒ̈ܢܘܗܝ ܘܒܢ̈ܝ ܒ̈ܢܘܗܝ ܥܠ ܐܪܒܥܐ ܕܪ̈ܝܢ
dryn 'rbe' el bnwhy wbny bnwhy wkhz' shnyn w'rbeyn m'' hydyn bthr mn 'ywb wkhy'
After this Job lived one hundred forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons’ sons, to four generations.
