ברם לדא יתוה לבי ויתפז מן אתריה: ת״א על בנוי דאהרן אתנבי ואמר לחוד לחדא לבי תוה ושור מן אתריה:
athryh mn wshwr thwh lby lkhda lkhwd wamr athnby dahrn bnwy el tha athryh mn wythpz lby ythwh lda brm
“Yes, at this my heart trembles, and is moved out of its place.

שמעו משמע ברוגזא קליה והגא היך אשא מפומיה נפק:
npq mpwmyh asha hyk whga qlyh brwgza mshme shmew
Hear, oh, hear the noise of his voice, the sound that goes out of his mouth.

תחות כל שמיא תריצותיה ונהוריה יקום על סיפי ארעא:
area sypy el yqwm wnhwryh thrytswthyh shmya kl thkhwth
He sends it out under the whole sky, and his lightning to the ends of the earth.

בתרוי מכלי קל אכליותיה בקל גותנותיה ולא יעכבנון ארום ישמע קליה:
qlyh yshme arwm yekbnwn wla gwthnwthyh bql aklywthyh ql mkly bthrwy
After it a voice roars. He thunders with the voice of his majesty. He doesn’t hold back anything when his voice is heard.

כד אכלי אלהא בקליה על פרישן דעתיד למעבד עבד רברבן ולא נדע:
nde wla rbrbn ebd lmebd dethyd pryshn el bqlyh alha akly kd
God thunders marvelously with his voice. He does great things, which we can’t comprehend.

ארום לתלגא יימר הוי בארעא ומטרא בתר מטרא בקיטא למבשלא פרי ומטרא בתר מטרא למצמח עסבא בסתוא בעושניה:
bewshnyh bsthwa esba lmtsmkh mTra bthr wmTra pry lmbshla bqyTa mTra bthr wmTra barea hwy yymr lthlga arwm
For he says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth,’ likewise to the shower of rain, and to the showers of his mighty rain.

בידא דכל אנשא ירשום למידע כל בני נשא עובדוי:
ewbdwy nsha bny kl lmyde yrshwm ansha dkl byda
He seals up the hand of every man, that all men whom he has made may know it.

ותיתי חיתא בכמנא ובמדורהא תשרי:
thshry wbmdwrha bkmna khytha wthythy
Then the animals take cover, and remain in their dens.

מן אדנון עילא תיתי זיעא ומכות מזרים קורא:
qwra mzrym wmkwth zyea thythy eyla adnwn mn
Out of its room comes the storm, and cold out of the north.

ממימר אלהא יתיהב קרחא ופלטיות מיא באתכותא:
bathkwtha mya wplTywth qrkha ythyhb alha mmymr
By the breath of God, ice is given, and the width of the waters is frozen.

ברם בברירותא מטרח עיבא מבדר ענן מטריה:
mTryh enn mbdr eyba mTrkh bbryrwtha brm
Yes, he loads the thick cloud with moisture. He spreads abroad the cloud of his lightning.

והוא תוסקפתא מהפך בחוכמתיה לאצלחא פלחי בארעא בעובדיהון ונחתין בכל אתר די פקדינון על אפי ארעא: ת״א והוא ברחמוהי מיא טמיעתא מהפך באפותקוהי לעובדיהון דבני נשא מגלי יתה ומשדר יתהון לכל דפקדנון על אפי תבל ארעא:

It is turned around by his guidance, that they may do whatever he commands them on the surface of the habitable world,

אין מטרא דפורענותא בעממיא ובמדבריא אין מטרא רזיא לאילני טוריא וגלמתא אין מטרא ניחא דחסדא לחקלי דפרי וכרמי יספקניה:
yspqnyh wkrmy dpry lkhqly dkhsda nykha mTra ayn wglmtha Twrya laylny rzya mTra ayn wbmdbrya bemmya dpwrenwtha mTra ayn
whether it is for correction, or for his land, or for loving kindness, that he causes it to come.

אצית דא איוב קום ואתבין פרישותא דאלהא:
dalha pryshwtha wathbyn qwm aywb da atsyth
“Listen to this, Job. Stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.

הידעתא כד ישוי אלהא גזירתא עליהון ואופע ענניה מטריה:
mTryh ennyh wawpe elyhwn gzyrtha alha yshwy kd hydetha
Do you know how God controls them, and causes the lightning of his cloud to shine?

הידעתא על מבשקרני עבא פרשותא דשלים מנדעא:
mndea dshlym prshwtha eba mbshqrny el hydetha
Do you know the workings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge?

די לבושיך משחנין כד משדיך ארעא מן דרומא:
drwma mn area mshdyk kd mshkhnyn lbwshyk dy
You whose clothing is warm when the earth is still by reason of the south wind?

תרקע עמיה לשחקיא תקיפין דחזותהון כאספקלריא סנינא:
snyna kaspqlrya dkhzwthhwn thqypyn lshkhqya emyh thrqe
Can you, with him, spread out the sky, which is strong as a cast metal mirror?

אודע יתנא מה נימר ליה לא נסדר למחמי קדם חשוכא:
khshwka qdm lmkhmy nsdr la lyh nymr mh ythna awde
Teach us what we will tell him, for we can’t make our case by reason of darkness.

אפשר דישתעי ליה ארום אמליל אין ימלל בר נש ארום יקטרג:
yqTrg arwm nsh br ymll ayn amlyl arwm lyh dyshthey apshr
Will it be told him that I would speak? Or should a man wish that he were swallowed up?

וכדון לא חמון מטרא בוטט הוא בשחקי ורוחא עברת ודכית יתהון: ת״א והשתא לא אסתכלו באוריתא אתעבידו שמיא בהירי מן לאחתא טלא ומטרא ורוח עברת ודכאינון:
wdkaynwn ebrth wrwkh wmTra Tla lakhtha mn bhyry shmya athebydw bawrytha asthklw la whshtha tha ythhwn wdkyth ebrth wrwkha bshkhqy hwa bwTT mTra khmwn la wkdwn
Now men don’t see the light which is bright in the skies, but the wind passes, and clears them.

מצפונא דהבא ייתי קדם אלהא דחיל שבהורא: ת״א מן צפונא אסתגיא ייתי וינהר עלמא קדם אלהא דחיל יודון עללי עלמא:
elma elly ywdwn dkhyl alha qdm elma wynhr yythy asthgya tspwna mn tha shbhwra dkhyl alha qdm yythy dhba mtspwna
Out of the north comes golden splendor. With God is awesome majesty.

שדי לא אשכחונך דאנת מדבר עם עללי עלמא בסוגי חילא ודינא וסוגי צדקתא לא יסגף: ת״א שדי לא ספקנא למשתעי סוגעי חילא ודינא וסוגעי צדקתא לא יסגף:
ysgp la tsdqtha wswgey wdyna khyla swgey lmshthey spqna la shdy tha ysgp la tsdqtha wswgy wdyna khyla bswgy elma elly em mdbr danth ashkkhwnk la shdy
We can’t reach the Almighty. He is exalted in power. In justice and great righteousness, he will not oppress.
