ופסקו תלתא גבריא האלין מלאתבא ית איוב מטול דהוא זכי בעינוי:
beynwy zky dhwa mTwl aywb yth mlathba halyn gbrya thltha wpsqw
So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.

ותקף רוגזא דאליהוא בר ברכאל בוזאה מן גניסת אברהם באיוב תקיף רוגזיה מטול זכאותיה נפשיה מן אלהא:
alha mn npshyh zkawthyh mTwl rwgzyh thqyp baywb abrhm gnysth mn bwzah brkal br dalyhwa rwgza wthqp
Then the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel, the Buzite, of the family of Ram, was kindled against Job. His wrath was kindled because he justified himself rather than God.

ובתלת חברוי תקף רוגזיה מטול דלא אשכחו תיובתא וחייבו ית איוב:
aywb yth wkhyybw thywbtha ashkkhw dla mTwl rwgzyh thqp khbrwy wbthlth
Also his wrath was kindled against his three friends, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.

ואליהוא מתן ית איוב במליא ארום סבין הנון מניה ליומיא:
lywmya mnyh hnwn sbyn arwm bmlya aywb yth mthn walyhwa
Now Elihu had waited to speak to Job, because they were older than he.

וחמא אליהו ארום לית תיובתא בפום תלת גובריא ותקיף רוגזיה:
rwgzyh wthqyp gwbrya thlth bpwm thywbtha lyth arwm alyhw wkhma
When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, his wrath was kindled.

ואתיב אליהו בר ברכאל בוזאה ואמר זוטר אנא ליומיא ואתון קשישין מטול היכנא אסתפיתי ודחילית מלחואה מנדעא יתכון:
ythkwn mndea mlkhwah wdkhylyth asthpythy hykna mTwl qshyshyn wathwn lywmya ana zwTr wamr bwzah brkal br alyhw wathyb
Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered, “I am young, and you are very old. Therefore I held back, and didn’t dare show you my opinion.

אמרית יומיא ימללון וסגיעי שניא יודיעון חוכמתא:
khwkmtha ywdyewn shnya wsgyey ymllwn ywmya amryth
I said, ‘Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.’

בקושטא רוח נבואתא היא בבר נש ומימר שדי תביננון:
thbynnwn shdy wmymr nsh bbr hya nbwatha rwkh bqwshTa
But there is a spirit in man, and the Spirit of the Almighty gives them understanding.

לא רברבני חכימין וסביא יבינון דינא:
dyna ybynwn wsbya khkymyn rbrbny la
It is not the great who are wise, nor the aged who understand justice.
10
בגין כן אמרית קבל מני אחוי מנדעי ברם אנא:
ana brm mndey akhwy mny qbl amryth kn bgyn
Therefore I said, ‘Listen to me; I also will show my opinion.’

הא אוריכית לפתגמיכון אצית עד ביונתכון עד דפשפשון מליא:
mlya dpshpshwn ed bywnthkwn ed atsyth lpthgmykwn awrykyth ha
“Behold, I waited for your words, and I listened for your reasoning, while you searched out what to say.

יגביכון אתבין והא לית לאיוב מכסן מתיב מימרוי מנכון:
mnkwn mymrwy mthyb mksn laywb lyth wha athbyn ygbykwn
Yes, I gave you my full attention, but there was no one who convinced Job, or who answered his words, among you.
13
דלמא תימרון אשכחנא חוכמתא אלהא ישקפניה לא גבר:
gbr la yshqpnyh alha khwkmtha ashkkhna thymrwn dlma
Beware lest you say, ‘We have found wisdom. God may refute him, not man;’
14
ולא סדר לותי מלין ובמימריכון לא אתיבניה:
athybnyh la wbmymrykwn mlyn lwthy sdr wla
for he has not directed his words against me; neither will I answer him with your speeches.
15
אתברו לא אתיבו תוב אסתלקו מנהון מליא:
mlya mnhwn asthlqw thwb athybw la athbrw
“They are amazed. They answer no more. They don’t have a word to say.
16
ואוריכית ארום לא ימללון שתקו ולא אתיבו תוב:
thwb athybw wla shthqw ymllwn la arwm wawrykyth
Shall I wait, because they don’t speak, because they stand still, and answer no more?
17
אתיב לחוד אנא חולקי אחוי מנדעי אוף אנא:
ana awp mndey akhwy khwlqy ana lkhwd athyb
I also will answer my part, and I also will show my opinion.
18
ארום מליתי מליא עקתני רוח דכריסי:
dkrysy rwkh eqthny mlya mlythy arwm
For I am full of words. The spirit within me constrains me.
19
הא כריסי היך חמר חדת דלא יתפתח לגינן חדתין יתבזע:
ythbze khdthyn lgynn ythpthkh dla khdth khmr hyk krysy ha
Behold, my breast is as wine which has no vent; like new wineskins it is ready to burst.
20
אמליל וירוח לגרמי אפתח ספותי ואתיב:
wathyb spwthy apthkh lgrmy wyrwkh amlyl
I will speak, that I may be refreshed. I will open my lips and answer.
21
לא כדון אסב אפי גבר ולבר נש לא אשתמודע:
ashthmwde la nsh wlbr gbr apy asb kdwn la
Please don’t let me respect any man’s person, neither will I give flattering titles to any man.
