ואוסיף איוב למטל מתליה ואמר:
wamr mthlyh lmTl aywb wawsyp
Job again took up his parable, and said,

קים אלהא אעדי הלכת דיני ושדי אמרר נפשי:
npshy amrr wshdy dyny hlkth aedy alha qym
“As God lives, who has taken away my right, the Almighty, who has made my soul bitter

ארום פסק תוב נשמתי במימרי ורוחא דאלהא בנחירי:
bnkhyry dalha wrwkha bmymry nshmthy thwb psq arwm
(for the length of my life is still in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils);
4
אין ממללן ספותי שקרא ולישני אין מרנן נכלא:
nkla mrnn ayn wlyshny shqra spwthy mmlln ayn
surely my lips will not speak unrighteousness, neither will my tongue utter deceit.

חס לי אין אזכי יתכון עד דאתנגיד לא אעדי שלמותי מני:
mny shlmwthy aedy la dathngyd ed ythkwn azky ayn ly khs
Far be it from me that I should justify you. Until I die I will not put away my integrity from me.

בזכותי תקיפית ולא אשבקינה לא יחסד לבבי מן יומי:
ywmy mn lbby ykhsd la ashbqynh wla thqypyth bzkwthy
I hold fast to my righteousness, and will not let it go. My heart will not reproach me so long as I live.

יהא היך חיבא בעל דבבי ודקאם עלי היך רשיעא:
rshyea hyk ely wdqam dbby bel khyba hyk yha
“Let my enemy be as the wicked. Let him who rises up against me be as the unrighteous.

ארום מן סבר דילטור ארום יכנוש ממון דשקר ארום ינתר אלהא נפשיה:
npshyh alha ynthr arwm dshqr mmwn yknwsh arwm dylTwr sbr mn arwm
For what is the hope of the godless, when he is cut off, when God takes away his life?

אפשר דקבלתיה יקבל אלהא ארום תיתי עלוי עקא:
eqa elwy thythy arwm alha yqbl dqblthyh apshr
Will God hear his cry when trouble comes on him?

אין על שדי יתפרנק יהוי קרי אלהא בכל עדן:
edn bkl alha qry yhwy ythprnq shdy el ayn
Will he delight himself in the Almighty, and call on God at all times?
11
אליף יתכון בנבואת אלהא די עם שדי לא אכסי:
aksy la shdy em dy alha bnbwath ythkwn alyp
I will teach you about the hand of God. I will not conceal that which is with the Almighty.
12
הא אתון כולכון חמיתון ולמא דין הבלא תהבלון:
thhblwn hbla dyn wlma khmythwn kwlkwn athwn ha
Behold, all of you have seen it yourselves; why then have you become altogether vain?

דין חולק בר נש חיבא מלות אלהא ועדב תקיפין משדי יקבלון פורענותהון:
pwrenwthhwn yqblwn mshdy thqypyn wedb alha mlwth khyba nsh br khwlq dyn
“This is the portion of a wicked man with God, the heritage of oppressors, which they receive from the Almighty.

אין יסגעון בנוי מטול דקטלין בחרבא ובני בנוי לא יסבעון לחמא:
lkhma ysbewn la bnwy wbny bkhrba dqTlyn mTwl bnwy ysgewn ayn
If his children are multiplied, it is for the sword. His offspring will not be satisfied with bread.

משיזבוי במותא יהון קבירין וארמלתוי לא תבכין:
thbkyn la warmlthwy qbyryn yhwn bmwtha mshyzbwy
Those who remain of him will be buried in death. His widows will make no lamentation.

אין יכנוש היך עפרא סימא והיך טינא יתכין לבושא:
lbwsha ythkyn Tyna whyk syma epra hyk yknwsh ayn
Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare clothing as the clay;
17
יתקין וצדיקא יהי לביש וסימא זכי יפליג:
yplyg zky wsyma lbysh yhy wtsdyqa ythqyn
he may prepare it, but the just will put it on, and the innocent will divide the silver.
18
בנא היך רקבוביתא ביתיה והיך מטללתא דעביד נטר פרי:
pry nTr debyd mTlltha whyk bythyh rqbwbytha hyk bna
He builds his house as the moth, as a booth which the watchman makes.
19
עתיר ידמוך ולא יתכנש עינוי פקח וליתוי:
wlythwy pqkh eynwy ythknsh wla ydmwk ethyr
He lies down rich, but he will not do so again. He opens his eyes, and he is not.
20
תדבקניה היך מיא רגשתא ליליא טלטלניה זיקא:
zyqa TlTlnyh lylya rgshtha mya hyk thdbqnyh
Terrors overtake him like waters. A storm steals him away in the night.
21
יטלניה רוח קדומא ויזל ויעלעלניה מן אתריה:
athryh mn wyelelnyh wyzl qdwma rwkh yTlnyh
The east wind carries him away, and he departs. It sweeps him out of his place.
22
ויטלוק עלוי ולא יחוס מן ידיה מערק יערוק:
yerwq merq ydyh mn ykhws wla elwy wyTlwq
For it hurls at him, and does not spare, as he flees away from his hand.
