מה סיעתא מדלית חילא פרקתא באדרע דלא עשין:
eshyn dla badre prqtha khyla mdlyth syetha mh
“How have you helped him who is without power! How have you saved the arm that has no strength!

מה מלכתא מדלית חוכמתא ודמי לך דחוכמתא לסוגעא אודעתא:
awdetha lswgea dkhwkmtha lk wdmy khwkmtha mdlyth mlktha mh
How have you counseled him who has no wisdom, and plentifully declared sound knowledge!

ית מן הויתא מליא ונשמתא דמן נפקת מנך:
mnk npqth dmn wnshmtha mlya hwytha mn yth
To whom have you uttered words? Whose spirit came out of you?

אפשר דגבריא דמתמזמזין יתברין ואנון מלרע למיא ומשריתהון:
wmshrythhwn lmya mlre wanwn ythbryn dmthmzmzyn dgbrya apshr
“The departed spirits tremble, those beneath the waters and all that live in them.

ערטילא מפרסם שיול לקובליה ולית חופאה לבית אבדנא:
abdna lbyth khwpah wlyth lqwblyh shywl mprsm erTyla
Sheol is naked before God, and Abaddon has no covering.

דמתח צפונא על למא זקף ארעא עלוי מיא מדלית מדעם דסמיך לה:
lh dsmyk mdem mdlyth mya elwy area zqp lma el tspwna dmthkh
He stretches out the north over empty space, and hangs the earth on nothing.

דצרר מי מטרא בעננוי ולא אתבזע עננא תחותוי:
thkhwthwy enna athbze wla bennwy mTra my dtsrr
He binds up the waters in his thick clouds, and the cloud is not burst under them.

מאחד באממתא דמן כורסיה מן בגלל דלא יחמוניה מלאכיא פרס היך פרגודא עלוי עננא דיקריה:
dyqryh enna elwy prgwda hyk prs mlakya ykhmwnyh dla bgll mn kwrsyh dmn bammtha makhd
He encloses the face of his throne, and spreads his cloud on it.

גזר למשרי רקיע על אנפי מיא עד סוף נהורא עם חשוכא:
khshwka em nhwra swp ed mya anpy el rqye lmshry gzr
He has described a boundary on the surface of the waters, and to the confines of light and darkness.

עמודין דשמיא מזדעזעין ורתתין מן מזופיתיה:
mzwpythyh mn wrththyn mzdezeyn dshmya emwdyn
The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his rebuke.

בחיליה גזר ימא ובסוכלתניה מחא גבריא:
gbrya mkha wbswklthnyh yma gzr bkhylyh
He stirs up the sea with his power, and by his understanding he strikes through Rahab.

ברוח פומיה אפי שמיא אשתבהרו ברת ידיה לויתן דמתיל לחויא טריק:
Tryq lkhwya dmthyl lwythn ydyh brth ashthbhrw shmya apy pwmyh brwkh
By his Spirit the heavens are garnished. His hand has pierced the swift serpent.

הא אלין סיפי אורחתוי ומה די אתמצי מן קצת מלתיה נשמענא מניה ורכפת גבורתו מן יתבין:
ythbyn mn gbwrthw wrkpth mnyh nshmena mlthyh qtsth mn athmtsy dy wmh awrkhthwy sypy alyn ha
Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways. How small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?”
