ܠܡܢܐ ܡܥܕܪ ܐܢܬ ܕܠܐ ܚܝܠ ܘܦ̇ܪܩ ܐܢܬ ܕܪܥܐ ܕܠܐ ܒܥܘܫܢܐ
lmn' medr 'nth dl' khyl wprq 'nth dre' dl' bewshn'
“How have you helped him who is without power! How have you saved the arm that has no strength!

ܡܢܐ ܐܬܪܥܝܬ ܕܠܐ ܚܟܡܬܐ ܘܝܘܠܦܢܐ ܣܓܝܐܐ ܐܘܕܥܬ
mn' 'threyth dl' khkmth' wywlpn' sgy'' 'wdeth
How have you counseled him who has no wisdom, and plentifully declared sound knowledge!

ܠܡ̇ܢ ܚܘܝܬ ܡ̈ܠܐ ܘܢܫܡܬܐ ܕܡ̇ܢ ܢܦܩܬ ܡܢܟ
lmn khwyth ml' wnshmth' dmn npqth mnk
To whom have you uttered words? Whose spirit came out of you?

ܗܐ ܓܢܒܪ̈ܐ ܢܬܩܛܠܘܢ ܘܡܢ ܡ̈ܝܐ ܢܫܠܘܢ
h' gnbr' nthqTlwn wmn my' nshlwn
“The departed spirits tremble, those beneath the waters and all that live in them.

ܥܪܛܠܝܐ ܗܝ ܫܝܘܠ ܩܕܡܘܗܝ ܘܠܝܬ ܬܟܣܝ ܠܐܒܕܢܐ
erTly' hy shywl qdmwhy wlyth thksy l'bdn'
Sheol is naked before God, and Abaddon has no covering.

ܡܬܚ ܓܪܒܝܐ ܡܢ ܚܘܪܒܐ ܘܬܠܐ ܐܪܥܐ ܥܠ ܠܐ ܡܕܡ
mthkh grby' mn khwrb' wthl' 're' el l' mdm
He stretches out the north over empty space, and hangs the earth on nothing.

ܨܪ ܡ̈ܝܐ ܒܥ̈ܢܢܘܗܝ ܘܠܐ ܐܬܒܙܥܬ ܥܢܢܐ ܬܚܘܬܝܗܘܢ
tsr my' bennwhy wl' 'thbzeth enn' thkhwthyhwn
He binds up the waters in his thick clouds, and the cloud is not burst under them.

ܐܚܕ ܒܐ̈ܦܝ ܬܟܣܝܬܐ ܘܦܪܣ ܠܥܠ ܡܢܗ̇ ܥܢܢܐ
'khd b'py thksyth' wprs lel mnh enn'
He encloses the face of his throne, and spreads his cloud on it.

ܪܫܡ ܚܘܓܬܐ ܥܠ ܐ̈ܦܝ ܡ̈ܝܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܕܫܠܡ ܢܘܗܪܐ ܥܡ ܚܫܘܟܐ
rshm khwgth' el 'py my' edm' dshlm nwhr' em khshwk'
He has described a boundary on the surface of the waters, and to the confines of light and darkness.

ܥܡ̈ܘܕܝ ܫܡܝܐ ܪ̈ܥܠܝܢ ܘܢܬܡܗܘܢ ܡܢ ܟܐܬܗ
emwdy shmy' relyn wnthmhwn mn k'thh
The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his rebuke.

ܒܚܝܠܗ ܓܥ̇ܪ ܒܝܡܐ ܘܒܚܟܡܬܗ ܡ̇ܚܐ ܣ̈ܓܝܐܐ
bkhylh ger bym' wbkhkmthh mkh' sgy''
He stirs up the sea with his power, and by his understanding he strikes through Rahab.

ܒܪܘܚܗ ܫܡܝܐ ܡܕܒܪ ܘܩܛܠܬ ܐܝܕܗ ܠܚܘܝܐ ܕܥܪܩ
brwkhh shmy' mdbr wqTlth 'ydh lkhwy' derq
By his Spirit the heavens are garnished. His hand has pierced the swift serpent.

ܗܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܟܠܗܝܢ ܡܢ ܩܨܬ ܐܘܪ̈ܚܬܗ ܘܐܝܢܐ ܦܬܓܡ ܒܝܫ ܐܫܬܡܥ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܘܣܘܓܐܐ ܕܓܢܒܪܘܬܗ ܡܢܘ ܢܬܒܝܢ
h' hlyn klhyn mn qtsth 'wrkhthh w'yn' pthgm bysh 'shthme elwhy wswg'' dgnbrwthh mnw nthbyn
Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways. How small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?”
