לבני עמון כדנן אמר יי הבנין לית לישראל אם ירית לית ליה מא דין אחסין מלכהון ית ארע גד ועמיה בקרווהי יתיב:
ythyb bqrwwhy wemyh gd are yth mlkhwn akhsyn dyn ma lyh lyth yryth am lyshral lyth hbnyn yy amr kdnn emwn lbny
Of the children of Ammon. Yahweh says: “Has Israel no sons? Has he no heir? Why then does Malcam possess Gad, and his people dwell in its cities?

בכן הא יומיא אתן אמר יי ואשמע לרבת בני עמון יבבות עבדי קרבא ותהי לתל צדו ויתבי כפרנהא בנורא יתוקדון ויחסנון בני ישראל נכסי עממיא דהוו מחסנין להון אמר יי:
yy amr lhwn mkhsnyn dhww emmya nksy yshral bny wykhsnwn ythwqdwn bnwra kprnha wythby tsdw lthl wthhy qrba ebdy ybbwth emwn bny lrbth washme yy amr athn ywmya ha bkn
Therefore behold, the days come,” says Yahweh, “that I will cause an alarm of war to be heard against Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and it will become a desolate heap, and her daughters will be burned with fire; then Israel will possess those who possessed him,” says Yahweh.

אילילו יתבי חשבון ארי אתבזיזת עי צווחו יתבי כפרני רבא אסרו סקין ספודו ואתהממון בסיען ארי מלכהון בגלותא יהך פלחוהי ורברבוהי כחדא:
kkhda wrbrbwhy plkhwhy yhk bglwtha mlkhwn ary bsyen wathhmmwn spwdw sqyn asrw rba kprny ythby tswwkhw ey athbzyzth ary khshbwn ythby aylylw
“Wail, Heshbon, for Ai is laid waste! Cry, you daughters of Rabbah! Clothe yourself in sackcloth. Lament, and run back and forth among the fences; for Malcam will go into captivity, his priests and his princes together.

מה את משתבחי במישרך חרובו תוקפך מלכותא טפשתא דמתרחצא בבית גנזהא אמרה מן ייעול עלי:
ely yyewl mn amrh gnzha bbyth dmthrkhtsa Tpshtha mlkwtha thwqpk khrwbw bmyshrk mshthbkhy ath mh
Why do you boast in the valleys, your flowing valley, backsliding daughter? You trusted in her treasures, saying, ‘Who will come to me?’

הא אנא מיתי עלך דחלא אמר יי אלהים צבאות מכל סחרנך ותתבדרון גבר לקביל אפוהי ולית דמכניש למבדריא:
lmbdrya dmknysh wlyth apwhy lqbyl gbr wththbdrwn skhrnk mkl tsbawth alhym yy amr dkhla elk mythy ana ha
Behold, I will bring a terror on you,” says the Lord, Yahweh of Armies, “from all who are around you. All of you will be driven completely out, and there will be no one to gather together the fugitives.

ובתר כן אתיב ית גלות בני עמון אמר יי:
yy amr emwn bny glwth yth athyb kn wbthr
“But afterward I will reverse the captivity of the children of Ammon,” says Yahweh.

לאדום כדנן אמר יי צבאות הלית עוד חוכמא בדרומא פסק מלכא מבניא אתקלקלת חוכמתהון:
khwkmthhwn athqlqlth mbnya mlka psq bdrwma khwkma ewd hlyth tsbawth yy amr kdnn ladwm
Of Edom, Yahweh of Armies says: “Is wisdom no more in Teman? Has counsel perished from the prudent? Has their wisdom vanished?

ערוקו גלו ארחיקו למתב יתבי דדן ארי תביר עשו איתיתי עלוהי עדן סעודת חובוהי:
khwbwhy sewdth edn elwhy aythythy eshw thbyr ary ddn ythby lmthb arkhyqw glw erwqw
Flee! Turn back! Dwell in the depths, inhabitants of Dedan; for I will bring the calamity of Esau on him when I visit him.

אם חטופין כקטופין אתו עלך לא אשארו עוללן אם גנביא בליליא חבילו מיסתהון:
mysthhwn khbylw blylya gnbya am ewlln asharw la elk athw kqTwpyn khTwpyn am
If grape gatherers came to you, would they not leave some gleaning grapes? If thieves came by night, wouldn’t they steal until they had enough?

ארי אנא איתיתי בלושין על עשו גליתי ית מטמרוהי דאם יבעי לאטמרא לא יכול אתבזיזו בנוהי ואחוהי וקריבוהי וליתינון:
wlythynwn wqrybwhy wakhwhy bnwhy athbzyzw ykwl la laTmra ybey dam mTmrwhy yth glythy eshw el blwshyn aythythy ana ary
But I have made Esau bare, I have uncovered his secret places, and he will not be able to hide himself. His offspring is destroyed, with his brothers and his neighbors; and he is no more.

אתון בית ישראל לא תשבקתון יתמיכון אנא אקים וארמלתכון על מימרי יתרחצן:
ythrkhtsn mymry el warmlthkwn aqym ana ythmykwn thshbqthwn la yshral byth athwn
Leave your fatherless children. I will preserve them alive. Let your widows trust in me.”

ארי כדנן אמר יי הא דלא חזי להון למשתאי כסא דלוטא משתא ישתון ואתון מדמן דמזכא תזכון לא תזכון ארי משתא תשתון:
thshthwn mshtha ary thzkwn la thzkwn dmzka mdmn wathwn yshthwn mshtha dlwTa ksa lmshthay lhwn khzy dla ha yy amr kdnn ary
For Yahweh says: “Behold, they to whom it didn’t pertain to drink of the cup will certainly drink; and are you he who will altogether go unpunished? You won’t go unpunished, but you will surely drink.

ארי במימרי קימית אמר יי ארי לצדו לחיסודין לחורב וללוטא תהי בצרה וכל קרוהא יהוין לחורבא לעלם:
lelm lkhwrba yhwyn qrwha wkl btsrh thhy wllwTa lkhwrb lkhyswdyn ltsdw ary yy amr qymyth bmymry ary
For I have sworn by myself,” says Yahweh, “that Bozrah will become an astonishment, a reproach, a waste, and a curse. All its cities will be perpetual wastes.”

בסורא שמעית מן קדם יי ואזגד בעממיא שליח אתכנישו ואתו עלה וקומו לאגחא קרבא:
qrba lagkha wqwmw elh wathw athknyshw shlykh bemmya wazgd yy qdm mn shmeyth bswra
I have heard news from Yahweh, and an ambassador is sent among the nations, saying, “Gather yourselves together! Come against her! Rise up to the battle!”

ארי הא חלש יהבתך בעממיא בסיר בבני אנשא:
ansha bbny bsyr bemmya yhbthk khlsh ha ary
“For, behold, I have made you small among the nations, and despised among men.

טפשותך אטעיאת יתך רשע לבך דאת דמי לנשרא דישרי בשיני כיפא מותביה בתקוף רומא ארי תרים כנשרא מדורך מתמן במימרי אחתינך אמר יי:
yy amr akhthynk bmymry mthmn mdwrk knshra thrym ary rwma bthqwp mwthbyh kypa bshyny dyshry lnshra dmy dath lbk rshe ythk aTeyath Tpshwthk
As for your terror, the pride of your heart has deceived you, O you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, who hold the height of the hill, though you should make your nest as high as the eagle, I will bring you down from there,” says Yahweh.

ותהי אדום לצדו כל דיעבר עלה יכלי ויגיד על כל מחתהא:
mkhthha kl el wygyd ykly elh dyebr kl ltsdw adwm wthhy
“Edom will become an astonishment. Everyone who passes by it will be astonished, and will hiss at all its plagues.

כהפכתא דסדום ועמורה וקריבהא אמר יי לא יתיב תמן אנש ולא יתותב בה בר אנש:
ansh br bh ythwthb wla ansh thmn ythyb la yy amr wqrybha wemwrh dsdwm khpktha
As in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and its neighbor cities,” says Yahweh, “no man will dwell there, neither will any son of man live therein.

הא מלך במשריתיה יסק עליהון כאריא דסליק מרום ירדנא לדיר רעין ארי בזמן איתינון עלה ושלטונין אמני עלה ארי מן כותי ומן דיערעינני ולית מלך דאית ליה תקוף קדמי:
qdmy thqwp lyh dayth mlk wlyth dyereynny wmn kwthy mn ary elh amny wshlTwnyn elh aythynwn bzmn ary reyn ldyr yrdna mrwm dslyq karya elyhwn ysq bmshrythyh mlk ha
“Behold, he will come up like a lion from the pride of the Jordan against the strong habitation; for I will suddenly make them run away from it, and whoever is chosen, I will appoint him over it. For who is like me? Who will appoint me a time? Who is the shepherd who will stand before me?”

בכן שמעו מלכא דיי דמלך על אדום ומחשבתיה דחשיב על יתבי ארעא דרומא אם לא יגררון ויקטלון תקיפי עמא אם לא יצדון עליהון מדורהון:
mdwrhwn elyhwn ytsdwn la am ema thqypy wyqTlwn ygrrwn la am drwma area ythby el dkhshyb wmkhshbthyh adwm el dmlk dyy mlka shmew bkn
Therefore hear the counsel of Yahweh, that he has taken against Edom, and his purposes that he has purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: Surely they will drag them away, the little ones of the flock. Surely he will make their habitation desolate over them.

מקל מפלתהון זעת ארעא צוחתא בימא דסוף אשתמע קלהון:
qlhwn ashthme dswp byma tswkhtha area zeth mplthhwn mql
The earth trembles at the noise of their fall; there is a cry, the noise which is heard in the Red Sea.
22
הא כנשרא דסליק ומשתדי כן יסק מלך במשריתיה וישרי על בצרה ויהי לב גבריהון דאדומאי ביומא ההוא כלב אתתא דעקא לה בחבלהא:
bkhblha lh deqa aththa klb hhwa bywma dadwmay gbryhwn lb wyhy btsrh el wyshry bmshrythyh mlk ysq kn wmshthdy dslyq knshra ha
Behold, he will come up and fly as the eagle, and spread out his wings against Bozrah. The heart of the mighty men of Edom at that day will be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.

לדמשק בהיתו יתבי חמת וארפד ארי בסורא בישא שמעו אתברו דחלא בימא ויצפא אחדתינון הא כנחתי ימא דשקטין ולא יכלין למנח:
lmnkh yklyn wla dshqTyn yma knkhthy ha akhdthynwn wytspa byma dkhla athbrw shmew bysha bswra ary warpd khmth ythby bhythw ldmshq
Of Damascus: “Hamath and Arpad are confounded, for they have heard evil news. They have melted away. There is sorrow on the sea. It can’t be quiet.

אתרשלו יתבי דמשק אתפניאו למיערק ושפלותא אחדתינון עקא וחבלין אחדונון הא כחבלין לילדתא:
lyldtha kkhblyn ha akhdwnwn wkhblyn eqa akhdthynwn wshplwtha lmyerq athpnyaw dmshq ythby athrshlw
Damascus has grown feeble, she turns herself to flee, and trembling has seized her. Anguish and sorrows have taken hold of her, as of a woman in travail.

איכדין לא אשתביקת קרתא משבחתא כרכא חדאה:
khdah krka mshbkhtha qrtha ashthbyqth la aykdyn
How is the city of praise not forsaken, the city of my joy?
26
בכן יתרמון עולימהא ברחובהא וכל גברי עבדי קרבא יתברון בעדנא ההיא אמר יי צבאות:
tsbawth yy amr hhya bedna ythbrwn qrba ebdy gbry wkl brkhwbha ewlymha ythrmwn bkn
Therefore her young men will fall in her streets, and all the men of war will be brought to silence in that day,” says Yahweh of Armies.

ואדליק אשתא בשורי דמשק ותשיצי בירנית בר הדר:
hdr br byrnyth wthshytsy dmshq bshwry ashtha wadlyq
“I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it will devour the palaces of Ben Hadad.”

לקדר ולממלכות חצור דמחא נבוכדראצר מלכא דבבל כדנן אמר יי קומו סקו על קדר ובזז ית בני מדינחא:
mdynkha bny yth wbzz qdr el sqw qwmw yy amr kdnn dbbl mlka nbwkdratsr dmkha khtswr wlmmlkwth lqdr
Of Kedar, and of the kingdoms of Hazor, which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon struck, Yahweh says: “Arise, go up to Kedar, and destroy the children of the east.

משכניהון וענהון ישבון יריעתהון וכל מניהון וגמלהון יסבון להון ויתכנשון עליהון דקטלין בחרבא מסחור סחור:
skhwr mskhwr bkhrba dqTlyn elyhwn wythknshwn lhwn ysbwn wgmlhwn mnyhwn wkl yryethhwn yshbwn wenhwn mshknyhwn
They will take their tents and their flocks. they will carry away for themselves their curtains, all their vessels, and their camels; and they will cry to them, ‘Terror on every side!’

ערוקו גלו לחדא ארחיקו למתב יתבי חצור אמר יי ארי מלך עליכון נבוכדראצר מלכא דבבל מלכא וחשיב עליכון מחשבא:
mkhshba elykwn wkhshyb mlka dbbl mlka nbwkdratsr elykwn mlk ary yy amr khtswr ythby lmthb arkhyqw lkhda glw erwqw
Flee! Wander far off! Dwell in the depths, you inhabitants of Hazor,” says Yahweh; “for Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has taken counsel against you, and has conceived a purpose against you.
31
קומו סקו על עמא דיתבין שליוא שרן לרוחצן אמר יי לית להון דשין ועברין בלחודיהון שרן:
shrn blkhwdyhwn webryn dshyn lhwn lyth yy amr lrwkhtsn shrn shlywa dythbyn ema el sqw qwmw
Arise! Go up to a nation that is at ease, that dwells without care,” says Yahweh; “that has neither gates nor bars, that dwells alone.

ויהון גמליהון לבזא והמון גיתיהון לעדי ואבדרינון לכל רוח מקפי פתא ומכל עבריהון איתי תברהון אמר יי:
yy amr thbrhwn aythy ebryhwn wmkl ptha mqpy rwkh lkl wabdrynwn ledy gythyhwn whmwn lbza gmlyhwn wyhwn
Their camels will be a booty, and the multitude of their livestock a plunder. I will scatter to all winds those who have the corners of their beards cut off; and I will bring their calamity from every side of them,” says Yahweh.
33
ותהי חצור למדור ירודין צדו עד עלמא לא יתיב תמן אנש ולא יתיתיב בה בר אנש:
ansh br bh ythythyb wla ansh thmn ythyb la elma ed tsdw yrwdyn lmdwr khtswr wthhy
Hazor will be a dwelling place of jackals, a desolation forever. No man will dwell there, neither will any son of man live therein.”

דהוה פתגם נבואה מן קדם יי עם ירמיה נביא על עילם בריש מלכות צדקיה מלך שבטא דבית יהודה למימר:
lmymr yhwdh dbyth shbTa mlk tsdqyh mlkwth brysh eylm el nbya yrmyh em yy qdm mn nbwah pthgm dhwh
Yahweh’s word that came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning Elam, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying,

כדנן אמר יי צבאות הא אנא תבר ית תקוף עילם ריש גברותהון:
gbrwthhwn rysh eylm thqwp yth thbr ana ha tsbawth yy amr kdnn
“Yahweh of Armies says: ‘Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might.

ואיתי על עילם ארבע מלכון מארבע רוחי שמיא ואבדרינון לכל רוחתא האלין ולא יהי עם דלא יהכון לתמן מטלטלי עילם:
eylm mTlTly lthmn yhkwn dla em yhy wla halyn rwkhtha lkl wabdrynwn shmya rwkhy marbe mlkwn arbe eylm el waythy
I will bring on Elam the four winds from the four quarters of the sky, and will scatter them toward all those winds. There will be no nation where the outcasts of Elam will not come.

ואתבר ית עילם קדם בעלי דבביהון וקדם דבען למקטלהון ואיתי עליהון בישא ית תקוף רוגזי אמר יי ואגרי בתריהון דקטלין בחרבא עד דאשיצי יתהון:
ythhwn dashytsy ed bkhrba dqTlyn bthryhwn wagry yy amr rwgzy thqwp yth bysha elyhwn waythy lmqTlhwn dben wqdm dbbyhwn bely qdm eylm yth wathbr
I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before those who seek their life. I will bring evil on them, even my fierce anger,’ says Yahweh; ‘and I will send the sword after them, until I have consumed them.
38
ואשוי כורסי מלכותי בעילם ואוביד מתמן מלך ושלטון אמר יי:
yy amr wshlTwn mlk mthmn wawbyd beylm mlkwthy kwrsy washwy
I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from there king and princes,’ says Yahweh.
