בעדנא ההיא אמר יי אהוי לאלהא לכל זרעית ישראל ואינון יהון קדמי לעם:
lem qdmy yhwn waynwn yshral zreyth lkl lalha ahwy yy amr hhya bedna
“At that time,” says Yahweh, “I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they will be my people.”

כדנן אמר יי דיהב רחמין לעמא דנפק ממצרים ספוק צרכיהון במדברא כד הוו מערקין מן קדם דקטלין בחרבא דבר במימריה לאשראה בית ניחא ישראל:
yshral nykha byth lashrah bmymryh dbr bkhrba dqTlyn qdm mn merqyn hww kd bmdbra tsrkyhwn spwq mmtsrym dnpq lema rkhmyn dyhb yy amr kdnn
Yahweh says, “The people who survive the sword found favor in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.”

אמרית ירושלם מלקדמין יי אתגלי על אבהתנא נביא אמר להון הא רחמת עלמא רחימת יתכון על כן דברית יתכון בטבון:
bTbwn ythkwn dbryth kn el ythkwn rkhymth elma rkhmth ha lhwn amr nbya abhthna el athgly yy mlqdmyn yrwshlm amryth
Yahweh appeared of old to me, saying, “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love. Therefore I have drawn you with loving kindness.

עוד אקימינך ותתקימין כנשתא דישראל עוד תתקנין בתקניך ותפקין בסיעת משבחין:
mshbkhyn bsyeth wthpqyn bthqnyk ththqnyn ewd dyshral knshtha wththqymyn aqymynk ewd
I will build you again, and you will be built, O virgin of Israel. You will again be adorned with your tambourines, and will go out in the dances of those who make merry.

עוד תצבין כרמין בטורי שמרון צובו שתילין ואחילו:
wakhylw shthylyn tswbw shmrwn bTwry krmyn thtsbyn ewd
Again you will plant vineyards on the mountains of Samaria. The planters will plant, and will enjoy its fruit.

ארי אית אריכות יומיא וסגי טובא דעתיד למיתי לצדיקיא דנטרו אוריתי מלקדמין חולקיהון בארעא דישראל דהוו מחמדין לשני נחמתא דאתין דאמרין אימתי נקום ונסק לציון ונתחזי קדם יי אלהנא:
alhna yy qdm wnthkhzy ltsywn wnsq nqwm aymthy damryn dathyn nkhmtha lshny mkhmdyn dhww dyshral barea khwlqyhwn mlqdmyn awrythy dnTrw ltsdyqya lmythy dethyd Twba wsgy ywmya arykwth ayth ary
For there will be a day that the watchmen on the hills of Ephraim cry, ‘Arise! Let’s go up to Zion to Yahweh our God.’”

ארי כדנן אמר יי שבחו דבית יעקב בחדוא ודוצו בריש גלי לעיני כל עממיא בשרו שבחו ואמרו פריק יי ית עמיה ית שארא דישראל:
dyshral shara yth emyh yth yy pryq wamrw shbkhw bshrw emmya kl leyny gly brysh wdwtsw bkhdwa yeqb dbyth shbkhw yy amr kdnn ary
For Yahweh says, “Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout for the chief of the nations. Publish, praise, and say, ‘Yahweh, save your people, the remnant of Israel!’

האנא מיתי להון מארע צפונא ואכנשינון מסיפי ארעא דהוו בהון עורין וחגרין יסגין בהון מעדין וילדן כחדא במשרין סגיאן יתובון הלכא:
hlka ythwbwn sgyan bmshryn kkhda wyldn medyn bhwn ysgyn wkhgryn ewryn bhwn dhww area msypy waknshynwn tspwna mare lhwn mythy hana
Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the uttermost parts of the earth, along with the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her who travails with child together. They will return as a great company.

במגלהון כד הוו בכן גלו במתבהון מביני גלותהון ברחמין סגיאין אקרבינון אדברינון על פצירי מיא באורח תקנא לא יתקלון בה ארי הוה מימרי לישראל כאב ואפרים חביב הוא קדמי:
qdmy hwa khbyb waprym kab lyshral mymry hwh ary bh ythqlwn la thqna bawrkh mya ptsyry el adbrynwn aqrbynwn sgyayn brkhmyn glwthhwn mbyny bmthbhwn glw bkn hww kd bmglhwn
They will come with weeping. I will lead them with petitions. I will cause them to walk by rivers of waters, in a straight way in which they won’t stumble; for I am a father to Israel. Ephraim is my firstborn.

קבילו פתגמא דיי עממיא וחוו בגוון מרחיק ואמרו מן דבדריה לישראל יכנשיניה ויטריניה כרעיא לעדריה:
ledryh kreya wyTrynyh yknshynyh lyshral dbdryh mn wamrw mrkhyq bgwwn wkhww emmya dyy pthgma qbylw
“Hear Yahweh’s word, you nations, and declare it in the distant islands. Say, ‘He who scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd does his flock.’

ארי פריק יי ית דבית יעקב ושיזבינון מיד דתקיפין מנהון:
mnhwn dthqypyn myd wshyzbynwn yeqb dbyth yth yy pryq ary
For Yahweh has ransomed Jacob, and redeemed him from the hand of him who was stronger than he.

וייתון וישבחון בטור בית מקדשא דאתבני בציון ויתפנקון בטובא דיהב להון יי בעבורא ובחמרא ובמשחא ובני עאן ותורין ותהי נפשהון מליא תפנוקין כגנת שקיא דמרויא ולא יוספון ליצפא עוד:
ewd lytspa ywspwn wla dmrwya shqya kgnth thpnwqyn mlya npshhwn wthhy wthwryn ean wbny wbmshkha wbkhmra bebwra yy lhwn dyhb bTwba wythpnqwn btsywn dathbny mqdsha byth bTwr wyshbkhwn wyythwn
They will come and sing in the height of Zion, and will flow to the goodness of Yahweh, to the grain, to the new wine, to the oil, and to the young of the flock and of the herd. Their soul will be as a watered garden. They will not sorrow any more at all.

בכן תחדין כנשתא דישראל כד בחנגין ועולימין וסבין כחדא ואהפוך אבלהון לביע ואנחמינון ואחדינון מדוונהון:
mdwwnhwn wakhdynwn wankhmynwn lbye ablhwn wahpwk kkhda wsbyn wewlymyn bkhngyn kd dyshral knshtha thkhdyn bkn
Then the virgin will rejoice in the dance, the young men and the old together; for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.

ואשבע נפש כהניא תפנוקין ועמי בית ישראל ית טובי דיהבית להון ישבעון אמר יי:
yy amr yshbewn lhwn dyhbyth Twby yth yshral byth wemy thpnwqyn khnya npsh washbe
I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people will be satisfied with my goodness,” says Yahweh.

כדנן אמר יי קלא ברום עלמא אשתמע בית ישראל דבכן ומתאנחן בתר ירמיה נביא כד שלח יתיה נבוזראדן רב קטוליא מרמתא אליא ודבכן במרר ירושלם מבכיא על בנהא מסרבא לאתנחמא על בנהא ארי גלו:
glw ary bnha el lathnkhma msrba bnha el mbkya yrwshlm bmrr wdbkn alya mrmtha qTwlya rb nbwzradn ythyh shlkh kd nbya yrmyh bthr wmthankhn dbkn yshral byth ashthme elma brwm qla yy amr kdnn
Yahweh says: “A voice is heard in Ramah, lamentation and bitter weeping, Rachel weeping for her children. She refuses to be comforted for her children, because they are no more.”

כדנן אמר יי מנעי קליך מלמבכי ועיניך מלשגרא דמען ארי אית אגר לעובדי אבהתך צדיקיא אמר יי ויתובון מארע בעלי דבביהון:
dbbyhwn bely mare wythwbwn yy amr tsdyqya abhthk lewbdy agr ayth ary dmen mlshgra weynyk mlmbky qlyk mney yy amr kdnn
Yahweh says: “Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears, for your work will be rewarded,” says Yahweh. “They will come again from the land of the enemy.

ואית סבור לסופיך אמר יי ויתובון בניא לתחומהון:
lthkhwmhwn bnya wythwbwn yy amr lswpyk sbwr wayth
There is hope for your latter end,” says Yahweh. “Your children will come again to their own territory.
18
שמיע וגלי קדמי בית ישראל דבכן ומתאנחין על דאטלטלו אמרין איתיתא עלן יסורין ולא אליפנא כעגל לא מליף ניר כדו אתיבנא לפולחנך ונתיב ארי את יי אלהנא:
alhna yy ath ary wnthyb lpwlkhnk athybna kdw nyr mlyp la kegl alypna wla yswryn eln aythytha amryn daTlTlw el wmthankhyn dbkn yshral byth qdmy wgly shmye
“I have surely heard Ephraim grieving thus, ‘You have chastised me, and I was chastised, as an untrained calf. Turn me, and I will be turned, for you are Yahweh my God.

ארי כד אנחנא תיבין לאוריתא מתנחם עלנא וכדו דאתגלי לנא טפחנא על ירכנא בהיתנא ואף אתכנענא ארי קבילנא חסודי חובנא דמלקדמין:
dmlqdmyn khwbna khswdy qbylna ary athknena wap bhythna yrkna el Tpkhna lna dathgly wkdw elna mthnkhm lawrytha thybyn ankhna kd ary
Surely after that I was turned. I repented. After that I was instructed. I struck my thigh. I was ashamed, yes, even confounded, because I bore the reproach of my youth.’

הכבר חביב קדמי ישראל הלא רבי רחים הוא ארי בזמן דמשוי פתגמי אוריתי על לביה למעבדהון מדכר דכירנא לאוטבא ליה עוד על כן אתגוללו רחמי עליהון רחמא ארחים עליהון אמר יי:
yy amr elyhwn arkhym rkhma elyhwn rkhmy athgwllw kn el ewd lyh lawTba dkyrna mdkr lmebdhwn lbyh el awrythy pthgmy dmshwy bzmn ary hwa rkhym rby hla yshral qdmy khbyb hkbr
Is Ephraim my dear son? Is he a darling child? For as often as I speak against him, I still earnestly remember him. Therefore my heart yearns for him. I will surely have mercy on him,” says Yahweh.

כנשתא דישראל אדכרי ליך עובדי אבהתיך תקניא שפוכי תחנונין במרר שויאי לביך אסתכלי בעובדין דעבדת אם תקנין דכן גלית לאורח רחיקא כדו תובו כנשתא דישראל ותתובון לקרוך אלין:
alyn lqrwk wththwbwn dyshral knshtha thwbw kdw rkhyqa lawrkh glyth dkn thqnyn am debdth bewbdyn asthkly lbyk shwyay bmrr thkhnwnyn shpwky thqnya abhthyk ewbdy lyk adkry dyshral knshtha
“Set up road signs. Make guideposts. Set your heart toward the highway, even the way by which you went. Turn again, virgin of Israel. Turn again to these your cities.

עד אימתי את מתחסנא למתב כנשתא דסגיאין תיובתהא ארי הא יי ברא חדתא בארעא ועמא בית ישראל יתנהון לאוריתא:
lawrytha ythnhwn yshral byth wema barea khdtha bra yy ha ary thywbthha dsgyayn knshtha lmthb mthkhsna ath aymthy ed
How long will you go here and there, you backsliding daughter? For Yahweh has created a new thing in the earth: a woman will encompass a man.”

כדנן אמר יי צבאות אלהא דישראל עוד יימרון ית פתגמא הדין בארעא דבית יהודה ובקרווהי כד אתיב ית גלותהון יברכינך יי מדור קושטיה טורא קדישא:
qdysha Twra qwshTyh mdwr yy ybrkynk glwthhwn yth athyb kd wbqrwwhy yhwdh dbyth barea hdyn pthgma yth yymrwn ewd dyshral alha tsbawth yy amr kdnn
Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, says: “Yet again they will use this speech in the land of Judah and in its cities, when I reverse their captivity: ‘Yahweh bless you, habitation of righteousness, mountain of holiness.’
24
ויתבון בה דבית יהודה וכל קרויהון כחדא איכרין ודנטלין בסיען:
bsyen wdnTlyn aykryn kkhda qrwyhwn wkl yhwdh dbyth bh wythbwn
Judah and all its cities will dwell therein together, the farmers, and those who go about with flocks.
25
ארי שבעית נפש משלהיא וכל נפש יצפא מליתי כל טוב:
Twb kl mlythy ytspa npsh wkl mshlhya npsh shbeyth ary
For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.”

אמר נביא על דא בשורתא דיומי נחמתא דעתידין למיתי אתערית וחזית תבית דמכית ושנתי הנאתני:
hnathny wshnthy dmkyth thbyth wkhzyth atheryth lmythy dethydyn nkhmtha dywmy bshwrtha da el nbya amr
On this I awakened, and saw; and my sleep was sweet to me.
27
הא יומיא אתן אמר יי ואקים ית דבית יהודה אסגינון כאנשא ואצלחינון כבעירא:
kbeyra watslkhynwn kansha asgynwn yhwdh dbyth yth waqym yy amr athn ywmya ha
“Behold, the days come,” says Yahweh, “that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man and with the seed of animal.

ויהי כמה דחשבית עליהון למעקר ולתרעא ולפגרא ולאבדא ולאבאשא כן יחדי מימרי עליהון למבני ולקימא אמר יי:
yy amr wlqyma lmbny elyhwn mymry ykhdy kn wlabasha wlabda wlpgra wlthrea lmeqr elyhwn dkhshbyth kmh wyhy
It will happen that, like as I have watched over them to pluck up and to break down and to overthrow and to destroy and to afflict, so I will watch over them to build and to plant,” says Yahweh.

ביומיא האינון לא ימרון עוד אבהתנא חטן ובניא לקן:
lqn wbnya khTn abhthna ewd ymrwn la haynwn bywmya
“In those days they will say no more, “‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge.’
30
אלהין אנש בחוביה ימות כל אנש דיחטי הוא ימות:
ymwth hwa dykhTy ansh kl ymwth bkhwbyh ansh alhyn
But everyone will die for his own iniquity. Every man who eats the sour grapes, his teeth will be set on edge.
31
הא יומיא אתן אמר יי ואגזר עם דבית ישראל ועם דבית יהודה קימא חדתא:
khdtha qyma yhwdh dbyth wem yshral dbyth em wagzr yy amr athn ywmya ha
“Behold, the days come,” says Yahweh, “that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah,

לא כקימא דגזרית עם אבהתהון ביומא דאתקפית בידיהון למפקהון מארעא דמצרים דאינון אשניאו ית קימי ואנא אתרעיתי בהון אמר יי:
yy amr bhwn athreythy wana qymy yth ashnyaw daynwn dmtsrym marea lmpqhwn bydyhwn dathqpyth bywma abhthhwn em dgzryth kqyma la
not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, which covenant of mine they broke, although I was a husband to them,” says Yahweh.
33
ארי דין קימא דאגזר עם בית ישראל בתר יומיא האינון אמר יי אתן ית אוריתי במעיהון ועל לבהון אכתבינא ואהוי להון לאלה ואינון יהון קדמי לעם:
lem qdmy yhwn waynwn lalh lhwn wahwy akthbyna lbhwn wel bmeyhwn awrythy yth athn yy amr haynwn ywmya bthr yshral byth em dagzr qyma dyn ary
“But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” says Yahweh: “I will put my law in their inward parts, and I will write it in their heart. I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

ולא יילפון עוד גבר ית חבריה וגבר ית אחוהי למימר דעו למדחל מן קדם יי ארי כולהון יילפון למדע דחלתי למזעירהון ועד רבהון אמר יי ארי אשבוק לחוביהון וחטאיהון לא ידכרון עוד:
ewd ydkrwn la wkhTayhwn lkhwbyhwn ashbwq ary yy amr rbhwn wed lmzeyrhwn dkhlthy lmde yylpwn kwlhwn ary yy qdm mn lmdkhl dew lmymr akhwhy yth wgbr khbryh yth gbr ewd yylpwn wla
They will no longer each teach his neighbor, and every man teach his brother, saying, ‘Know Yahweh;’ for they will all know me, from their least to their greatest,” says Yahweh, “for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

כדנן אמר יי דיהב שמשא לאנהרא ביממא גזירת סיהרא וכוכביא לאנהרא בליליא נזף בימא והמן גלוהי יי צבאות שמיה:
shmyh tsbawth yy glwhy whmn byma nzp blylya lanhra wkwkbya syhra gzyrth bymma lanhra shmsha dyhb yy amr kdnn
Yahweh, who gives the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, who stirs up the sea, so that its waves roar— Yahweh of Armies is his name, says:

כמה דלית אפשר דיעידון קימיא האלין מן קדמי אמר יי אף זרעא דישראל לא יבטלון מלמהוי עם משמש קדמי כל יומיא:
ywmya kl qdmy mshmsh em mlmhwy ybTlwn la dyshral zrea ap yy amr qdmy mn halyn qymya dyeydwn apshr dlyth kmh
“If these ordinances depart from before me,” says Yahweh, “then the offspring of Israel also will cease from being a nation before me forever.”
37
כדנן אמר יי כמה דלית אפשר דידע אנש משחת שמיא מלעילא ואף לא למבדק יסודי ארעא מלרע אף מימרי לא ירחיק בכל זרעא דישראל על כל דעבדו קדמי אמר יי:
yy amr qdmy debdw kl el dyshral zrea bkl yrkhyq la mymry ap mlre area yswdy lmbdq la wap mleyla shmya mshkhth ansh dyde apshr dlyth kmh yy amr kdnn
Yahweh says: “If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, then I will also cast off all the offspring of Israel for all that they have done,” says Yahweh.
38
הא יומיא אתן אמר יי ותתבני קרתא דירושלם קדם יי ממגדל פקוס ועד תרע זויתא:
zwytha thre wed pqws mmgdl yy qdm dyrwshlm qrtha wththbny yy amr athn ywmya ha
“Behold, the days come,” says Yahweh, “that the city will be built to Yahweh from the tower of Hananel to the gate of the corner.
39
ויהי נפיק עוד חוט משח בנינא לקבלא עד מטי לגבעתא דסמיכא לגרב ויהי מסתחר לבריכת עיגלה:
eyglh lbrykth msthkhr wyhy lgrb dsmyka lgbetha mTy ed lqbla bnyna mshkh khwT ewd npyq wyhy
The measuring line will go out further straight onward to the hill Gareb, and will turn toward Goah.

וכל מישרא אתר דנפלו תמן פגרי משרית אתוראה וכל אריתא עד נחלא דקידרון עד זוית תרע בית ריסא דמלכא מדינחא קודשא קדם יי לא יתעקר ולא יתפגר עוד לעלם:
lelm ewd ythpgr wla ytheqr la yy qdm qwdsha mdynkha dmlka rysa byth thre zwyth ed dqydrwn nkhla ed arytha wkl athwrah mshryth pgry thmn dnplw athr myshra wkl
The whole valley of the dead bodies and of the ashes, and all the fields to the brook Kidron, to the corner of the horse gate toward the east, will be holy to Yahweh. It will not be plucked up or thrown down any more forever.”
