ܦܬܓܡܐ ܕܗܘܐ ܥܠ ܐܪܡܝܐ ܡܢ ܩܕܡ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܐܡܪ
w'mr mry' qdm mn 'rmy' el dhw' pthgm'
The word that came to Jeremiah from Yahweh, saying,

ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܟܬܘܒ ܠܟ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܦܬ̈ܓܡܐ ܕܐܡܪܬ ܠܟ ܥܠ ܣܦܪܐ
spr' el lk d'mrth pthgm' klhwn lk kthwb d'ysryl 'lh' mry' 'mr hkn'
“Yahweh, the God of Israel, says, ‘Write all the words that I have spoken to you in a book.

ܡܛܠ ܕܗܐ ܝܘܡ̈ܬܐ ܐܬܝܢ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܐܗܦܟ ܫܒܝܬܐ ܕܥܡܝ ܐܝܣܪܐܝܠ ܘܕܝܗܘܕܐ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܐܗܦܟ ܐܢܘܢ ܠܐܪܥܐ ܕܝܗܒܬ ܠܐ̈ܒܗܝܗܘܢ ܘܢܐܪܬܘܢܗ̇
wn'rthwnh l'bhyhwn dyhbth l're' 'nwn w'hpk mry' 'mr wdyhwd' 'ysr'yl demy shbyth' w'hpk mry' 'mr 'thyn ywmth' dh' mTl
For, behold, the days come,’ says Yahweh, ‘that I will reverse the captivity of my people Israel and Judah,’ says Yahweh. ‘I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they will possess it.’”

ܘܗܠܝܢ ܦܬ̈ܓܡܐ ܕܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܥܠ ܐܝܣܪܐܝܠ ܘܥܠ ܝܗܘܕܐ
yhwd' wel 'ysr'yl el mry' d'mr pthgm' whlyn
These are the words that Yahweh spoke concerning Israel and concerning Judah.

ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܩܠܐ ܕܙܘܥܬܐ ܫܡܥܢ ܕܚܠܬܐ ܘܠܝܬ ܫܠܡܐ
shlm' wlyth dkhlth' shmen dzweth' ql' mry' 'mr hkn'
For Yahweh says: “We have heard a voice of trembling; a voice of fear, and not of peace.

ܫܐܠܘ ܘܚܙܘ ܐܢ ܝܠܕ ܕܟܪܐ ܡܛܠ ܡܢܐ ܚܙܝܬ ܟܠ ܓܒܪ ܣܝ̈ܡܢ ܐ̈ܝܕܘܗܝ ܥܠ ܓܣ̈ܘܗܝ ܐܝܟ ܝܠܕܬܐ ܘܐܬܗܦܟ ܟܠܗܝܢ ܐ̈ܦܐ ܠܝܩܕܢܐ
lyqdn' 'p' klhyn w'thhpk yldth' 'yk gswhy el 'ydwhy symn gbr kl khzyth mn' mTl dkr' yld 'n wkhzw sh'lw
Ask now, and see whether a man travails with child. Why do I see every man with his hands on his waist, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned pale?

ܘܝ ܕܪܒ ܗܘ ܝܘܡܐ ܗ̇ܘ ܘܠܝܬ ܐܟܘܬܗ ܘܙܒܢ ܥܩܬܐ ܗܘ ܠܝܥܩܘܒ ܘܡܢܗ ܢܬܦܪܩ

Alas, for that day is great, so that none is like it! It is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he will be saved out of it.

ܘܢܗܘܐ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܗ̇ܘ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܨܒܐܘܬ ܐܬܒܪ ܢܝܪܗ ܡܢ ܨܘܪܟ ܘܚܢ̈ܩܝܟ ܐܦܣܩ ܘܠܐ ܢܫܥܒܕܘܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܬܘܒ ܢܘܟܪ̈ܝܐ
nwkry' thwb 'nwn nshebdwn wl' 'psq wkhnqyk tswrk mn nyrh 'thbr tsb'wth mry' 'mr hw bywm' wnhw'
It will come to pass in that day, says Yahweh of Armies, that I will break his yoke from off your neck, and will burst your bonds. Strangers will no more make them their bondservants;

ܐܠܐ ܢܦܠܚܘܢ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܗܘܢ ܘܠܕܘܝܕ ܡܠܟܗܘܢ ܕܐܩܝܡ ܠܗܘܢ
lhwn d'qym mlkhwn wldwyd 'lhhwn lmry' nplkhwn 'l'
but they will serve Yahweh their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up to them.

ܘܐܢܬ ܠܐ ܬܕܚܠ ܥܒܕܝ ܝܥܩܘܒ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܠܐ ܬܬܒܪ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܕܗܐ ܦܪܩ ܐܢܐ ܠܟ ܡܢ ܪܘܚܩܐ ܘܠܙܪܥܟ ܡܢ ܐܪܥܐ ܕܫܒܝܬܗܘܢ ܘܢܬܒ ܝܥܩܘܒ ܘܢܫܠܐ ܘܢܫܟܬ ܘܢܬܬܢܝܚ ܘܠܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܠܗ ܡܗܪܢܐ ܘܐܢܬ ܠܐ ܬܕܚܠ ܥܒܕܝ ܝܥܩܘܒ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ
mry' 'mr yeqwb ebdy thdkhl l' w'nth mhrn' lh nhw' wl' wnththnykh wnshkth wnshl' yeqwb wnthb dshbythhwn 're' mn wlzrek rwkhq' mn lk 'n' prq dh' 'ysryl ththbr wl' mry' 'mr yeqwb ebdy thdkhl l' w'nth
Therefore don’t be afraid, O Jacob my servant, says Yahweh. Don’t be dismayed, Israel. For, behold, I will save you from afar, and save your offspring from the land of their captivity. Jacob will return, and will be quiet and at ease. No one will make him afraid.

ܡܛܠ ܕܥܡܟ ܐܢܐ ܠܡܦܪܩܟ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܐܥܒܕ ܓܡܘܪܝܐ ܒܟܠܗܘܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܒܕܪܬܟ ܬܡܢ ܘܠܟ ܠܐ ܐܥܒܕ ܓܡܘܪܝܐ ܘܐܪܕܝܟ ܒܕܝܢܐ ܘܡܙܟܝܘ ܠܐ ܐܙܟܝܟ
'zkyk l' wmzkyw bdyn' w'rdyk gmwry' 'ebd l' wlk thmn dbdrthk emm' bklhwn gmwry' d'ebd mTl mry' 'mr lmprqk 'n' demk mTl
For I am with you, says Yahweh, to save you; for I will make a full end of all the nations where I have scattered you, but I will not make a full end of you; but I will correct you in measure, and will in no way leave you unpunished.”

ܡܛܠ ܕܗܟܢܐ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܟܐܒ ܗܘ ܬܒܪܟܝ ܘܚܣܝܢܐ ܗܝ ܡܚܘܬܟܝ

For Yahweh says, “Your hurt is incurable. Your wound is grievous.

ܘܠܝܬ ܕܕܐܢ ܕܝܢܟܝ ܕܢܥܕܪܟܝ ܘܢܐܣܝܟܝ
wn'syky dnedrky dynky dd'n wlyth
There is no one to plead your cause, that you may be bound up. You have no healing medicines.

ܟܠܗܘܢ ܪ̈ܚܡܝܟܝ ܛܥܐܘܟܝ ܘܢܦܫܟܝ ܒܥܝܢ ܡܛܠ ܕܡܚܘܬܐ ܕܒ̈ܥܠܕܒܒܐ ܡܚܝܬܟܝ ܘܡܪܕܘܬܐ ܬܩܝܦܬܐ ܥܠ ܕܣܓܝܘ ܚ̈ܘܒܝܟܝ ܘܥܫܢܘ ܚ̈ܛܗܝܟܝ ܕܠܐ ܬܬܘܒܝܢ

All your lovers have forgotten you. They don’t seek you. For I have wounded you with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the greatness of your iniquity, because your sins were increased.

ܡܢܐ ܡܝܠܠܬܝ ܥܠ ܬܒܪܟܝ ܟܐܒ ܗܘ ܟܐܒܟܝ ܥܠ ܣܘܓܐܬ ܚ̈ܘܒܝܟܝ ܘܕܥܫܢܘ ܚ̈ܛܗܝܟܝ ܥܒܕܬ ܠܟܝ ܗܠܝܢ

Why do you cry over your injury? Your pain is incurable. For the greatness of your iniquity, because your sins have increased, I have done these things to you.

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܟܘܠ ܐ̈ܟܘܠܝܟܝ ܢܬܐܟܠܘܢ ܘܟܠܗܘܢ ܒ̈ܥܠܕܒܒܝܟܝ ܒܫܒܝܐ ܢܐܙܠܘܢ ܘܢܗܘܘܢ ܕܝܘܫ̈ܝܟܝ ܠܕܝܫܐ ܘܟܘܠܗܘܢ ܒܙܘ̈ܙܝܟܝ ܐܬܠ ܠܒܙܬܐ
lbzth' 'thl bzwzyky wkwlhwn ldysh' dywshyky wnhwwn n'zlwn bshby' beldbbyky wklhwn nth'klwn 'kwlyky kwl hn' mTl
Therefore all those who devour you will be devoured. All your adversaries, everyone of them, will go into captivity. Those who plunder you will be plunder. I will make all who prey on you become prey.

ܡܛܠ ܕܐܣܩ ܠܟܝ ܐܣܝܘܬܐ ܘܡܢ ܡܚܘܬܟܝ ܐܣܝܟܝ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܕܚܝܩܬܐ ܩܪܐܘܟܝ ܨܗܝܘܢ ܗܝ ܕܬܒܘܥܐ ܠܝܬ ܠܗ̇
lh lyth dthbwe' hy tshywn qr'wky ddkhyqth' mTl mry' 'mr 'syky mkhwthky wmn 'sywth' lky d'sq mTl
For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,” says Yahweh, “because they have called you an outcast, saying, ‘It is Zion, whom no man seeks after.’”

ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܗܐ ܡܗܦܟ ܐܢܐ ܫܒܝܬܐ ܕܡܫܟܢܗ ܕܝܥܩܘܒ ܘܥܒܕ ܐܢܐ ܠܗ ܐܝܟ ܕܡܢ ܩܕܝܡ ܘܥܠ ܡܫܟ̈ܢܘܗܝ ܐܪܚܡ ܘܬܬܒܢܐ ܩܪܝܬܐ ܥܠ ܬܠܗ̇ ܘܢܘܣܐ ܒܙܕܩܗ ܢܬܩܢ
nthqn bzdqh wnws' thlh el qryth' wththbn' 'rkhm mshknwhy wel qdym dmn 'yk lh 'n' webd dyeqwb dmshknh shbyth' 'n' mhpk h' mry' 'mr hkn'
Yahweh says: “Behold, I will reverse the captivity of Jacob’s tents, and have compassion on his dwelling places. The city will be built on its own hill, and the palace will be inhabited in its own place.

ܘܬܦܘܩ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܬܘܕܝܬܐ ܘܩܠܐ ܕܡܫ̈ܒܚܢܐ ܘܐܣܓܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܠܐ ܢܙܥܪܘܢ ܘܐܥܫܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܠܐ ܢܒܨܪܘܢ
nbtsrwn wl' 'nwn w'eshn nzerwn wl' 'nwn w'sg' dmshbkhn' wql' thwdyth' mnhwn wthpwq
Thanksgiving will proceed out of them with the voice of those who make merry. I will multiply them, and they will not be few; I will also glorify them, and they will not be small.

ܘܢܗܘܘܢ ܒ̈ܢܝܗܘܢ ܐܝܟ ܕܡܢ ܩܕܝܡ ܘܥܕܬܗܘܢ ܩܕܡܝ ܬܬܩܢ ܘܐܦܩܘܕ ܥܠ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܐ̈ܠܘܨܝܗܘܢ
'lwtsyhwn klhwn el w'pqwd ththqn qdmy wedthhwn qdym dmn 'yk bnyhwn wnhwwn
Their children also will be as before, and their congregation will be established before me. I will punish all who oppress them.

ܘܢܗܘܐ ܡܠܟܗܘܢ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܘܫܠܝܛܗܘܢ ܡܢ ܒܝܢܬܗܘܢ ܢܦܘܩ ܘܐܩܪܒܝܘܗܝ ܘܢܬܩܪܒ ܠܘܬܝ ܡܛܠ ܕܐܦܢܝ ܠܒܗ ܠܘܬ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ
mry' 'mr lwth lbh d'pny mTl lwthy wnthqrb w'qrbywhy npwq bynthhwn mn wshlyThwn mnhwn mlkhwn wnhw'
Their prince will be one of them, and their ruler will proceed from among them. I will cause him to draw near, and he will approach me; for who is he who has had boldness to approach me?” says Yahweh.

ܘܬܗܘܘܢ ܠܝ ܥܡܐ ܘܐܢܐ ܐܗܘܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܐܠܗܐ
'lh' lkwn 'hw' w'n' em' ly wthhwwn
“You shall be my people, and I will be your God.

ܗܐ ܥܠܥܠܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܒܚܡܬܐ ܢܦܩܐ ܘܥܠܥܠܐ ܡܬܓܘܙܠܐ ܥܠ ܪܝܫܐ ܕܪ̈ܫܝܥܐ ܬܬܢܝܚ
ththnykh drshye' rysh' el mthgwzl' welel' npq' bkhmth' dmry' elelh h'
Behold, Yahweh’s storm, his wrath, has gone out, a sweeping storm; it will burst on the head of the wicked.

ܠܐ ܬܗܦܘܟ ܚܡܬܐ ܕܪܘܓܙܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܕܢܥܒܪ ܘܥܕܡܐ ܕܢܩܝܡ ܬܪܥܝܬܐ ܕܠܒܗ ܒܐܚܪܝܬ ܝܘܡ̈ܬܐ ܬܬܒܝܢܘܢ ܒܗ
bh ththbynwn ywmth' b'khryth dlbh threyth' dnqym wedm' dnebr edm' dmry' drwgzh khmth' thhpwk l'
The fierce anger of Yahweh will not return until he has accomplished, and until he has performed the intentions of his heart. In the latter days you will understand it.”
