פתגם נבואה דהוה עם ירמיה מן קדם יי למימר:
lmymr yy qdm mn yrmyh em dhwh nbwah pthgm
The word that came to Jeremiah from Yahweh, saying,

כדנן אמר יי אלהא דישראל למימר כתב לך ית כל פתגמיא דמללית עמך על ספרא:
spra el emk dmllyth pthgmya kl yth lk kthb lmymr dyshral alha yy amr kdnn
“Yahweh, the God of Israel, says, ‘Write all the words that I have spoken to you in a book.

ארי הא יומיא אתן אמר יי ואתיב ית גלות עמי ישראל ויהודה אמר יי ואתיבינון לארעא דיהבית לאבהתכון ויחסונה:
wykhswnh labhthkwn dyhbyth larea wathybynwn yy amr wyhwdh yshral emy glwth yth wathyb yy amr athn ywmya ha ary
For, behold, the days come,’ says Yahweh, ‘that I will reverse the captivity of my people Israel and Judah,’ says Yahweh. ‘I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they will possess it.’”

ואלין פתגמיא דמליל יי על ישראל ויהודה:
wyhwdh yshral el yy dmlyl pthgmya walyn
These are the words that Yahweh spoke concerning Israel and concerning Judah.

ארי כדנן אמר יי קל זועה שמענא דחלא ולית שלם:
shlm wlyth dkhla shmena zweh ql yy amr kdnn ary
For Yahweh says: “We have heard a voice of trembling; a voice of fear, and not of peace.

שאילו כען וחזו אם יליד דבר מדין חזיתי כל גבר ידוהי מחתן על חרציה כילידתא ומשתנין כל אפיא למהוי כירקנא:
kyrqna lmhwy apya kl wmshthnyn kylydtha khrtsyh el mkhthn ydwhy gbr kl khzythy mdyn dbr ylyd am wkhzw ken shaylw
Ask now, and see whether a man travails with child. Why do I see every man with his hands on his waist, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned pale?

וי ארי רב יומא ההוא לית דכותיה ועדן עקא הוא ליעקב ומנה יתפרק:
ythprq wmnh lyeqb hwa eqa wedn dkwthyh lyth hhwa ywma rb ary wy
Alas, for that day is great, so that none is like it! It is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he will be saved out of it.

ויהי בעידנא ההיא אמר יי צבאות אתבר ניר עממיא מצואריכון וחנקיכון אפסק ולא ישתעבדון בישראל עוד עממיא:
emmya ewd byshral yshthebdwn wla apsq wkhnqykwn mtswarykwn emmya nyr athbr tsbawth yy amr hhya beydna wyhy
It will come to pass in that day, says Yahweh of Armies, that I will break his yoke from off your neck, and will burst your bonds. Strangers will no more make them their bondservants;

ויפלחון קדם יי אלההון וישתמעון למשיחא בר דוד מלכהון דאקים להון:
lhwn daqym mlkhwn dwd br lmshykha wyshthmewn alhhwn yy qdm wyplkhwn
but they will serve Yahweh their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up to them.

ואת לא תדחל עבדי יעקב אמר יי ולא תתבר ישראל ארי האנא פריק לך מרחיק וית בנך מארע גלותכון ויתובון דבית יעקב וישקטון וישרון לרחצן ולית דמניד:
dmnyd wlyth lrkhtsn wyshrwn wyshqTwn yeqb dbyth wythwbwn glwthkwn mare bnk wyth mrkhyq lk pryq hana ary yshral ththbr wla yy amr yeqb ebdy thdkhl la wath
Therefore don’t be afraid, O Jacob my servant, says Yahweh. Don’t be dismayed, Israel. For, behold, I will save you from afar, and save your offspring from the land of their captivity. Jacob will return, and will be quiet and at ease. No one will make him afraid.

ארי בסעדך מימרי אמר יי למפרקך ארי אעביד גמירא בכל עממיא דבדרתך לתמן ברם עמך לא אעביד גמירא ואיתי עלך יסורין לאלפותך ברם בדין חסוך ושיצאה לא אשיצינך:
ashytsynk la wshytsah khswk bdyn brm lalpwthk yswryn elk waythy gmyra aebyd la emk brm lthmn dbdrthk emmya bkl gmyra aebyd ary lmprqk yy amr mymry bsedk ary
For I am with you, says Yahweh, to save you; for I will make a full end of all the nations where I have scattered you, but I will not make a full end of you; but I will correct you in measure, and will in no way leave you unpunished.”

ארי כדנן אמר יי תקיף תבריך ממרעא מחתיך:
mkhthyk mmrea thbryk thqyp yy amr kdnn ary
For Yahweh says, “Your hurt is incurable. Your wound is grievous.

לית דדאין דיניך לרחמא עליך אסו לא סליקת ליך:
lyk slyqth la asw elyk lrkhma dynyk ddayn lyth
There is no one to plead your cause, that you may be bound up. You have no healing medicines.

כל רחמיך אנשיוך משאל בשלמך לא תבעו ארי מחת סנאה אלקיתיך יסור אכזראין על דסגיאו חוביך תקיפי חטאיך:
khTayk thqypy khwbyk dsgyaw el akzrayn yswr alqythyk snah mkhth ary thbew la bshlmk mshal anshywk rkhmyk kl
All your lovers have forgotten you. They don’t seek you. For I have wounded you with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the greatness of your iniquity, because your sins were increased.

מה את מצוחא על תבריך ממרעא מחתיך על דסגיאו חוביך תקיפי חטאיך עבדית אלין ליך:
lyk alyn ebdyth khTayk thqypy khwbyk dsgyaw el mkhthyk mmrea thbryk el mtswkha ath mh
Why do you cry over your injury? Your pain is incurable. For the greatness of your iniquity, because your sins have increased, I have done these things to you.

בכן כל אנסיך יתאנסון וכל סנאיך כולהון בשביא יהכון ויהון עדיך לעדי וכל בזזיך אמסר לבזא:
lbza amsr bzzyk wkl ledy edyk wyhwn yhkwn bshbya kwlhwn snayk wkl ythanswn ansyk kl bkn
Therefore all those who devour you will be devoured. All your adversaries, everyone of them, will go into captivity. Those who plunder you will be plunder. I will make all who prey on you become prey.

ארי איתי אסו ליך וממחתיך אסיניך אמר יי ארי מטלטלתא קרו ליך ציון היא תבע לית לה:
lh lyth thbe hya tsywn lyk qrw mTlTltha ary yy amr asynyk wmmkhthyk lyk asw aythy ary
For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,” says Yahweh, “because they have called you an outcast, saying, ‘It is Zion, whom no man seeks after.’”

כדנן אמר יי האנא מיתיב גלות ארעיה דיעקוב ועל קרווהי ארחים ותתבני קרתא ירושלם באתרה ובית מקדשא כד חזי ליה ישתכליל:
yshthklyl lyh khzy kd mqdsha wbyth bathrh yrwshlm qrtha wththbny arkhym qrwwhy wel dyeqwb areyh glwth mythyb hana yy amr kdnn
Yahweh says: “Behold, I will reverse the captivity of Jacob’s tents, and have compassion on his dwelling places. The city will be built on its own hill, and the palace will be inhabited in its own place.

ויסגון בהון מעלי תודתא וקל דמשבחין ואסגינון ולא יזערון ואתקפינון ולא יהון חלשין:
khlshyn yhwn wla wathqpynwn yzerwn wla wasgynwn dmshbkhyn wql thwdtha mely bhwn wysgwn
Thanksgiving will proceed out of them with the voice of those who make merry. I will multiply them, and they will not be few; I will also glorify them, and they will not be small.
20
ויסגון בניהון כדמלקדמין וכנשתהון קדמי תתקן ואסער בישתא על כל דחקיהון:
dkhqyhwn kl el byshtha waser ththqn qdmy wknshthhwn kdmlqdmyn bnyhwn wysgwn
Their children also will be as before, and their congregation will be established before me. I will punish all who oppress them.

ויתרבא מלכיהון מנהון ומשיחיהון מביניהון יתגלי ואקרבינון ויתנהון לפולחני ארי מן הוא דין דאתרעי לביה לאתקרבא לפולחני אמר יי:
yy amr lpwlkhny lathqrba lbyh dathrey dyn hwa mn ary lpwlkhny wythnhwn waqrbynwn ythgly mbynyhwn wmshykhyhwn mnhwn mlkyhwn wythrba
Their prince will be one of them, and their ruler will proceed from among them. I will cause him to draw near, and he will approach me; for who is he who has had boldness to approach me?” says Yahweh.

ותהון קדמי לעם ואנא אהוי לכון לאלה:
lalh lkwn ahwy wana lem qdmy wthhwn
“You shall be my people, and I will be your God.
23
הא מזופיתא מן קדם יי ברגז נפקא ועלעול מתכנש על ריש רשיעין יחול:
ykhwl rshyeyn rysh el mthknsh welewl npqa brgz yy qdm mn mzwpytha ha
Behold, Yahweh’s storm, his wrath, has gone out, a sweeping storm; it will burst on the head of the wicked.

לא יתוב תקוף רוגזא דיי עד דיעבד ועד דיקים מחשבת רעותיה בסוף יומיא תסתכלון בה:
bh thsthklwn ywmya bswp rewthyh mkhshbth dyqym wed dyebd ed dyy rwgza thqwp ythwb la
The fierce anger of Yahweh will not return until he has accomplished, and until he has performed the intentions of his heart. In the latter days you will understand it.”
