בריש מלכות יהויקים בר יאשיהו מלך שבטא דבית יהודה הות פתגמא הדין עם ירמיה מן קדם יי למימר:
lmymr yy qdm mn yrmyh em hdyn pthgma hwth yhwdh dbyth shbTa mlk yashyhw br yhwyqym mlkwth brysh
In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, this word came to Jeremiah from Yahweh, saying,

כדנן אמר יי לי עביד לך חנקין ונירין ותתנינון על צורך:
tswrk el wththnynwn wnyryn khnqyn lk ebyd ly yy amr kdnn
Yahweh says to me: “Make bonds and bars, and put them on your neck.

ותשלחינון לות מלכא דאדום ולות מלכא דמואב ולות מלכא דבני עמון ולות מלכא דצור ולות מלכא דצידון ביד אזגדיא דאתן לירושלם לות צדקיה מלך שבטא דבית יהודה:
yhwdh dbyth shbTa mlk tsdqyh lwth lyrwshlm dathn azgdya byd dtsydwn mlka wlwth dtswr mlka wlwth emwn dbny mlka wlwth dmwab mlka wlwth dadwm mlka lwth wthshlkhynwn
Then send them to the king of Edom, to the king of Moab, to the king of the children of Ammon, to the king of Tyre, and to the king of Sidon, by the hand of the messengers who come to Jerusalem to Zedekiah king of Judah.

ותפקיד יתהון לות רבונהון למימר כדנן אמר יי צבאות אלהא דישראל כדנן תימרון לרבונכון:
lrbwnkwn thymrwn kdnn dyshral alha tsbawth yy amr kdnn lmymr rbwnhwn lwth ythhwn wthpqyd
Give them a command to their masters, saying, ‘Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel says, “You shall tell your masters:

אנא במימרי עבדית ית ארעא ית אנשא וית בעירא דעל אפי ארעא בחילי רבא ובאדרעי מרממא ויהבתה לדכשר קדמי:
qdmy ldkshr wyhbthh mrmma wbadrey rba bkhyly area apy del beyra wyth ansha yth area yth ebdyth bmymry ana
‘I have made the earth, the men, and the animals that are on the surface of the earth by my great power and by my outstretched arm. I give it to whom it seems right to me.

וכען אנא יהבית ית כל מדינתא האלין ביד נבוכדנאצר מלכא דבבל עבדי ואף ית חית ברא יהבית ליה למפלחיה:
lmplkhyh lyh yhbyth bra khyth yth wap ebdy dbbl mlka nbwkdnatsr byd halyn mdyntha kl yth yhbyth ana wken
Now I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant. I have also given the animals of the field to him to serve him.

ויפלחון יתיה כל עממיא וית בריה וית בר בריה עד דימטי עדן תבר ארעיה אף הוא ויפלחון ביה עממין סגיאין ומלכין רברבין:
rbrbyn wmlkyn sgyayn emmyn byh wyplkhwn hwa ap areyh thbr edn dymTy ed bryh br wyth bryh wyth emmya kl ythyh wyplkhwn
All the nations will serve him, his son, and his son’s son, until the time of his own land comes. Then many nations and great kings will make him their bondservant.

ויהי עם ומלכו דלא יפלחון יתיה ית נבוכדנצאר מלכא דבבל וית דלא יתן ית צוריה בניר מלכא דבבל בחרבא ובכפנא ובמותא אסער על עמא ההוא אמר יי עד דאמסר יתהון בידיה:
bydyh ythhwn damsr ed yy amr hhwa ema el aser wbmwtha wbkpna bkhrba dbbl mlka bnyr tswryh yth ythn dla wyth dbbl mlka nbwkdntsar yth ythyh yplkhwn dla wmlkw em wyhy
“‘“‘It will happen that I will punish the nation and the kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon,’ says Yahweh, ‘with the sword, with famine, and with pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.

ואתון לא תקבלון מן נבייכון דשקרא ומן קסמיכון ומן חלמי חלמיכון ומן עונניכון ומן חרשיכון דאינון אמרין לכון למימר לא תפלחון ית מלכא דבבל:
dbbl mlka yth thplkhwn la lmymr lkwn amryn daynwn khrshykwn wmn ewnnykwn wmn khlmykwn khlmy wmn qsmykwn wmn dshqra nbyykwn mn thqblwn la wathwn
But as for you, don’t listen to your prophets, to your diviners, to your dreams, to your soothsayers, or to your sorcerers, who speak to you, saying, “You shall not serve the king of Babylon;”

ארי שקרא אינון מתנבן לכון בדיל לארחקא יתכון מעל ארעכון ואטלטל יתכון ותיבדון:
wthybdwn ythkwn waTlTl arekwn mel ythkwn larkhqa bdyl lkwn mthnbn aynwn shqra ary
for they prophesy a lie to you, to remove you far from your land, so that I would drive you out, and you would perish.

ועמא דיעיל ית צוריה בניר מלכא דבבל ויפלחיניה ואשריניה על ארעיה אמר יי ויפלחה ויתיב בה:
bh wythyb wyplkhh yy amr areyh el washrynyh wyplkhynyh dbbl mlka bnyr tswryh yth dyeyl wema
But the nation that brings their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon and serves him, that nation I will let remain in their own land,’ says Yahweh; ‘and they will till it and dwell in it.’”’”

ועם צדקיה מלך שבטא דבית יהודה מללית ית כל פתגמיא האלין למימר אעילו ית צואריכון בניר מלכא דבבל ופלחו יתיה ועמיה ואתקיימו:
wathqyymw wemyh ythyh wplkhw dbbl mlka bnyr tswarykwn yth aeylw lmymr halyn pthgmya kl yth mllyth yhwdh dbyth shbTa mlk tsdqyh wem
I spoke to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, “Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live.

למה תתקטלון את ועמך בחרבא ובכפנא ובמותא כמה דמליל יי על עמא דלא יפלח ית מלכא דבבל:
dbbl mlka yth yplkh dla ema el yy dmlyl kmh wbmwtha wbkpna bkhrba wemk ath ththqTlwn lmh
Why will you die, you and your people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as Yahweh has spoken concerning the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?

ולא תקבלון לפתגמי נביי שקרא דאמרין לכון למימר לא תפלחון ית מלכא דבבל ארי שקרא אינון מתנבן לכון:
lkwn mthnbn aynwn shqra ary dbbl mlka yth thplkhwn la lmymr lkwn damryn shqra nbyy lpthgmy thqblwn wla
Don’t listen to the words of the prophets who speak to you, saying, ‘You shall not serve the king of Babylon;’ for they prophesy a lie to you.

ארי לא שלחתינון אמר יי ואינון מתנבן בשמי שקרא בדיל דאטלטיל יתכון ותיבדון אתון ונביי שקרא דמתנבן לכון:
lkwn dmthnbn shqra wnbyy athwn wthybdwn ythkwn daTlTyl bdyl shqra bshmy mthnbn waynwn yy amr shlkhthynwn la ary
For I have not sent them,” says Yahweh, “but they prophesy falsely in my name; that I may drive you out, and that you may perish, you, and the prophets who prophesy to you.”

ולכהניא ולכל עמא הדין מללית למימר כדנן אמר יי לא תקבלון לפתגמי נבייכון דשקרא דמתנבן לכון למימר הא מני בית מקדשא דיי מתותבין מבבל כען בפריע ארי שקרא אינון מתנבן לכון:
lkwn mthnbn aynwn shqra ary bprye ken mbbl mthwthbyn dyy mqdsha byth mny ha lmymr lkwn dmthnbn dshqra nbyykwn lpthgmy thqblwn la yy amr kdnn lmymr mllyth hdyn ema wlkl wlkhnya
Also I spoke to the priests and to all this people, saying, Yahweh says, “Don’t listen to the words of your prophets who prophesy to you, saying, ‘Behold, the vessels of Yahweh’s house will now shortly be brought again from Babylon;’ for they prophesy a lie to you.

לא תקבלון מנהון פלחו ית מלכא דבבל ואתקיימו למה תהי קרתא הדא חורבא:
khwrba hda qrtha thhy lmh wathqyymw dbbl mlka yth plkhw mnhwn thqblwn la
Don’t listen to them. Serve the king of Babylon, and live. Why should this city become a desolation?

ואם מתנבן אינון ואם אית פתגמא דיי עמהון יבעון כען במימרא דיי צבאות בדיל דלא יתובלון מניא דאשתארו בבית מקדשא דיי ובית מלך שבטא דבית יהודה ובירושלם לבבל:
lbbl wbyrwshlm yhwdh dbyth shbTa mlk wbyth dyy mqdsha bbyth dashtharw mnya ythwblwn dla bdyl tsbawth dyy bmymra ken ybewn emhwn dyy pthgma ayth wam aynwn mthnbn wam
But if they are prophets, and if Yahweh’s word is with them, let them now make intercession to Yahweh of Armies, that the vessels which are left in Yahweh’s house, in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, don’t go to Babylon.

ארי כדנן אמר יי צבאות על עמודיא ועל ימא ועל בסיסיא ועל שאר מניא דאשתארו בקרתא הדא:
hda bqrtha dashtharw mnya shar wel bsysya wel yma wel emwdya el tsbawth yy amr kdnn ary
For Yahweh of Armies says concerning the pillars, concerning the sea, concerning the bases, and concerning the rest of the vessels that are left in this city,

דלא שוינון נבוכדנאצר מלכא דבבל כד אגלי ית יכניה בר יהויקים מלך שבטא דבית יהודה מירושלם לבבל וית כל רברבי יהודה וירושלם:
wyrwshlm yhwdh rbrby kl wyth lbbl myrwshlm yhwdh dbyth shbTa mlk yhwyqym br yknyh yth agly kd dbbl mlka nbwkdnatsr shwynwn dla
which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon didn’t take when he carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, from Jerusalem to Babylon, and all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem—

ארי כדנן אמר יי צבאות אלהא דישראל על מניא דאשתארו בית מקדשא דיי ובית מלך שבטא דבית יהודה ובירושלם:
wbyrwshlm yhwdh dbyth shbTa mlk wbyth dyy mqdsha byth dashtharw mnya el dyshral alha tsbawth yy amr kdnn ary
yes, Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, says concerning the vessels that are left in Yahweh’s house, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem:

לבבל יתובלון ותמן יהון עד יומא דיעול דכרנהון קדמי אמר יי ואסיקונון ואתיבינון לאתרא הדין:
hdyn lathra wathybynwn wasyqwnwn yy amr qdmy dkrnhwn dyewl ywma ed yhwn wthmn ythwblwn lbbl
‘They will be carried to Babylon, and there they will be, until the day that I visit them,’ says Yahweh; ‘then I will bring them up, and restore them to this place.’”
