1
וי פרנסיא דמאבדין ומבדרין ית עם דאתקרי שמי עלוהי אמר יי:
yy amr elwhy shmy dathqry em yth wmbdryn dmabdyn prnsya wy
“Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture!” says Yahweh.

בכן כדנן אמר יי אלהא דישראל על פרנסיא דמפרנסין ית עמי אתון בדרתון ית עמי וטלטילתינון ולא תבעתון יתהון האנא מסער עליכון ית בישות עובדיכון אמר יי:
yy amr ewbdykwn byshwth yth elykwn mser hana ythhwn thbethwn wla wTlTylthynwn emy yth bdrthwn athwn emy yth dmprnsyn prnsya el dyshral alha yy amr kdnn bkn
Therefore Yahweh, the God of Israel, says against the shepherds who feed my people: “You have scattered my flock, driven them away, and have not visited them. Behold, I will visit on you the evil of your doings,” says Yahweh.

ואנא אכניש ית שארא דעמי מכל מדינתא דאגליתי יתהון לתמן ואתיב יתהון לאתריהון ויפשון ויסגון:
wysgwn wypshwn lathryhwn ythhwn wathyb lthmn ythhwn daglythy mdyntha mkl demy shara yth aknysh wana
“I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they will be fruitful and multiply.

ואקים עליהון פרנסין ויפרנסונון ולא ידחלון עוד ולא יתברון ולא יזועון אמר יי:
yy amr yzwewn wla ythbrwn wla ewd ydkhlwn wla wyprnswnwn prnsyn elyhwn waqym
I will set up shepherds over them who will feed them. They will no longer be afraid or dismayed, neither will any be lacking,” says Yahweh.

הא יומיא אתן אמר יי ואקים לדוד משיח דצדיקיא וימלוך מלכא ויצלח ויעבד דין דקשוט וזכו בארעא:
barea wzkw dqshwT dyn wyebd wytslkh mlka wymlwk dtsdyqya mshykh ldwd waqym yy amr athn ywmya ha
“Behold, the days come,” says Yahweh, “that I will raise to David a righteous Branch; and he will reign as king and deal wisely, and will execute justice and righteousness in the land.

ביומוהי יתפרקון דבית יהודה וישראל ישרי לרחצן ודין שמיה דיהון קרן ליה יתעבדן לנא זכון מן קדם יי ביומוהי:
bywmwhy yy qdm mn zkwn lna ythebdn lyh qrn dyhwn shmyh wdyn lrkhtsn yshry wyshral yhwdh dbyth ythprqwn bywmwhy
In his days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell safely. This is his name by which he will be called: Yahweh our righteousness.

בכן הא יומיא אתן אמר יי ולא יהון משתען עוד בגבורתא דיי ודאסיק ית בני ישראל מארעא דמצרים:
dmtsrym marea yshral bny yth wdasyq dyy bgbwrtha ewd mshthen yhwn wla yy amr athn ywmya ha bkn
“Therefore, behold, the days come,” says Yahweh, “that they will no more say, ‘As Yahweh lives, who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;’

אלהין יהון משתען בגבורתא דיי דאסיק ודאיתי ית זרעא דבני ישראל מארע צפונא ומן מדינתא דאגליתינון לתמן ויתבון על ארעהון:
arehwn el wythbwn lthmn daglythynwn mdyntha wmn tspwna mare yshral dbny zrea yth wdaythy dasyq dyy bgbwrtha mshthen yhwn alhyn
but, ‘As Yahweh lives, who brought up and who led the offspring of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all the countries where I had driven them.’ Then they will dwell in their own land.”

מן קדם נביי שקרא אתבר לבי במעי זעו כל גרמי הויתי כגבר רוי וכגברא דמשתטי מן קדם חמריה מן קדם יי ומן קדם פתגמי קודשיה:
qwdshyh pthgmy qdm wmn yy qdm mn khmryh qdm mn dmshthTy wkgbra rwy kgbr hwythy grmy kl zew bmey lby athbr shqra nbyy qdm mn
Concerning the prophets: My heart within me is broken. All my bones shake. I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine has overcome, because of Yahweh, and because of his holy words.

ארי זנאין אתמליאת ארעא ארי מן קדם מומי דשקר חרובת ארעא יבישו דידות מדברא ועל דמסגן ברעות נפשיהון בישתא תיתי עליהון וגברהון לא יצלחון:
ytslkhwn la wgbrhwn elyhwn thythy byshtha npshyhwn brewth dmsgn wel mdbra dydwth ybyshw area khrwbth dshqr mwmy qdm mn ary area athmlyath znayn ary
“For the land is full of adulterers; for because of the curse the land mourns. The pastures of the wilderness have dried up. Their course is evil, and their might is not right;

ארי אף ספר אף כהן גניבו אורחתהון אף בבית מקדשי גלין קדמי בישתהון אמר יי:
yy amr byshthhwn qdmy glyn mqdshy bbyth ap awrkhthhwn gnybw khn ap spr ap ary
for both prophet and priest are profane. Yes, in my house I have found their wickedness,” says Yahweh.

בכן תהי אורחתהון להון כמשרועין בקבלא יתקלון ויפלון בה ארי איתי עליהון בישתא שנת סעורן חוביהון אמר יי:
yy amr khwbyhwn sewrn shnth byshtha elyhwn aythy ary bh wyplwn ythqlwn bqbla kmshrweyn lhwn awrkhthhwn thhy bkn
Therefore their way will be to them as slippery places in the darkness. They will be driven on, and fall therein; for I will bring evil on them, even the year of their visitation,” says Yahweh.

ובנביי שמרון חזיתי רשע מתנבן בשום טעותא ומטען ית עמי ית ישראל:
yshral yth emy yth wmTen Tewtha bshwm mthnbn rshe khzythy shmrwn wbnbyy
“I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria. They prophesied by Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.

ובנביי ירושלם חזיתי שנו זנאין ומהלכין בשקר ומתקפין יד מבאשין בדיל דלא למיתב גבר מן בישתיה הוו קדמי כולהון כסדום ויתבהא כעמורה:
kemwrh wythbha ksdwm kwlhwn qdmy hww byshthyh mn gbr lmythb dla bdyl mbashyn yd wmthqpyn bshqr wmhlkyn znayn shnw khzythy yrwshlm wbnbyy
In the prophets of Jerusalem I have also seen a horrible thing: they commit adultery and walk in lies. They strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that no one returns from his wickedness. They have all become to me as Sodom, and its inhabitants as Gomorrah.”

בכן כדנן אמר יי צבאות על נביי שקרא האנא מיתי עליהון עקא מרר כגידין ואשקינון כס דלוט ביש כרישי חיוין ארי מן נביי ירושלם נפקית חנפתא לכל יתבי ארעא:
area ythby lkl khnptha npqyth yrwshlm nbyy mn ary khywyn kryshy bysh dlwT ks washqynwn kgydyn mrr eqa elyhwn mythy hana shqra nbyy el tsbawth yy amr kdnn bkn
Therefore Yahweh of Armies says concerning the prophets: “Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink poisoned water; for from the prophets of Jerusalem ungodliness has gone out into all the land.”

כדנן אמר יי צבאות לא תקבלון לפתגמי נביי שקרא דמתנבן לכון מטען אינון לכון רשע לבהון ממללין לא במימרא דיי:
dyy bmymra la mmllyn lbhwn rshe lkwn aynwn mTen lkwn dmthnbn shqra nbyy lpthgmy thqblwn la tsbawth yy amr kdnn
Yahweh of Armies says, “Don’t listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They teach you vanity. They speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of Yahweh.

אמרין בנבואת שקריהון לדמרגזין קדמי מליל יי שלמא יהא לכון וכל דאזיל בהרהור לביה אמרין לא תיתי עליכון בישתא:
byshtha elykwn thythy la amryn lbyh bhrhwr dazyl wkl lkwn yha shlma yy mlyl qdmy ldmrgzyn shqryhwn bnbwath amryn
They say continually to those who despise me, ‘Yahweh has said, “You will have peace;”’ and to everyone who walks in the stubbornness of his own heart they say, ‘No evil will come on you.’

ארי לא קמו ואתגלי להון רז מן קדם יי ולא חזו ולא שמעו ית פתגמוהי ולא אציתו למימרה ולא קבילו:
qbylw wla lmymrh atsythw wla pthgmwhy yth shmew wla khzw wla yy qdm mn rz lhwn wathgly qmw la ary
For who has stood in the council of Yahweh, that he should perceive and hear his word? Who has listened to my word, and heard it?

הא מזופיתא מן קדם יי ברגז נפקת ועלעול משתגש על ריש רשיעין יחול:
ykhwl rshyeyn rysh el mshthgsh welewl npqth brgz yy qdm mn mzwpytha ha
Behold, Yahweh’s storm, his wrath, has gone out. Yes, a whirling storm! It will burst on the head of the wicked.
20
לא יתוב רוגזא דיי עד דיעבד ועד דיקים מחשבת רעותיה בסוף יומיא תסתכלון בה אסתכלא:
asthkla bh thsthklwn ywmya bswp rewthyh mkhshbth dyqym wed dyebd ed dyy rwgza ythwb la
Yahweh’s anger will not return until he has executed and performed the intents of his heart. In the latter days, you will understand it perfectly.

לא שלחית ית נביי שקרא ואינון רהטין לאבאשא ולא מללית עמהון ואינון מתנבן שקר:
shqr mthnbn waynwn emhwn mllyth wla labasha rhTyn waynwn shqra nbyy yth shlkhyth la
I didn’t send these prophets, yet they ran. I didn’t speak to them, yet they prophesied.

ואלו קמו אתגלי להון רז מן קדם יי ואשמעי פתגמי ית עמי ואתיבינון מאורחתהון בישתא ומבישות עובדיהון:
ewbdyhwn wmbyshwth byshtha mawrkhthhwn wathybynwn emy yth pthgmy washmey yy qdm mn rz lhwn athgly qmw walw
But if they had stood in my council, then they would have caused my people to hear my words, and would have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.
23
אנא אלהא ברית עלמא מבראשית אמר יי אנא אלהא עתידנא לחדתא עלמא לצדיקיא:
ltsdyqya elma lkhdtha ethydna alha ana yy amr mbrashyth elma bryth alha ana
“Am I a God at hand,” says Yahweh, “and not a God afar off?

אם ידמי גבר לאטמרה כד בסתרא קדמי הלא גלי אמר יי הלא ית שמיא וית ארעא יקרי מלי אמר יי:
yy amr mly yqry area wyth shmya yth hla yy amr gly hla qdmy bsthra kd laTmrh gbr ydmy am
Can anyone hide himself in secret places so that I can’t see him?” says Yahweh. “Don’t I fill heaven and earth?” says Yahweh.

שמיע קדמי ית דאמרין נביי שקרא למימר פתגם נבואה בחלמא אתחוא לי:
ly athkhwa bkhlma nbwah pthgm lmymr shqra nbyy damryn yth qdmy shmye
“I have heard what the prophets have said, who prophesy lies in my name, saying, ‘I had a dream! I had a dream!’

עד אימתי אית בלבהון דנביי שקרא דמתנבן שקר ומתנבן רשע לבהון:
lbhwn rshe wmthnbn shqr dmthnbn shqra dnbyy blbhwn ayth aymthy ed
How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies, even the prophets of the deceit of their own heart?

דמחשבין לאנשאה ית עמי שמי בחלמהון דמשתען גבר לחבריה כמה דשבק אבהתהון ית פולחן שמי ומקימין בשום טעותא:
Tewtha bshwm wmqymyn shmy pwlkhn yth abhthhwn dshbq kmh lkhbryh gbr dmshthen bkhlmhwn shmy emy yth lanshah dmkhshbyn
They intend to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they each tell his neighbor, as their fathers forgot my name because of Baal.

נבואה דעמיה חלמא ישתעי חלמא ודפתגמי עמיה ימליל פתגמי קשוט הא כמה דפריש בית תבנא לעבורא כן פריש בין צדיקיא לרשיעיא אמר יי:
yy amr lrshyeya tsdyqya byn prysh kn lebwra thbna byth dprysh kmh ha qshwT pthgmy ymlyl emyh wdpthgmy khlma yshthey khlma demyh nbwah
The prophet who has a dream, let him tell a dream; and he who has my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the straw to the wheat?” says Yahweh.

הלא כל פתגמי תקיפין כאשתא אמר יי וכפטישא דמפגע כיפא:
kypa dmpge wkpTysha yy amr kashtha thqypyn pthgmy kl hla
“Isn’t my word like fire?” says Yahweh; “and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?

בכן הא אנא שלח רוגזי על נביי שקרא אמר יי מגנבין פתגמי גבר מן חבריה:
khbryh mn gbr pthgmy mgnbyn yy amr shqra nbyy el rwgzy shlkh ana ha bkn
“Therefore behold, I am against the prophets,” says Yahweh, “who each steal my words from his neighbor.

בכן הא אנא שלח רוגזי על נביי שקרא אמר יי דמתנבן כרעות לבהון ואמרין כן אמר:
amr kn wamryn lbhwn krewth dmthnbn yy amr shqra nbyy el rwgzy shlkh ana ha bkn
Behold, I am against the prophets,” says Yahweh, “who use their tongues, and say, ‘He says.’

האנא שלח רוגזי על דמתנבן חלמא דשקר אמר יי ומשתען ומטען ית עמי בשקריהון ובבקרותהון ואנא לא שלחתינון ולא פקדתינון והנאה לא יהנון לעמא הדין אמר יי:
yy amr hdyn lema yhnwn la whnah pqdthynwn wla shlkhthynwn la wana wbbqrwthhwn bshqryhwn emy yth wmTen wmshthen yy amr dshqr khlma dmthnbn el rwgzy shlkh hana
Behold, I am against those who prophesy lying dreams,” says Yahweh, “who tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their vain boasting; yet I didn’t send them or command them. They don’t profit this people at all,” says Yahweh.
33
וארי ישאלינך עמא הדין או ספר או בהין למימר מה נבואתא בשמא דיי ותימר להון כדין נבואתא וארטוש יתכון אמר יי:
yy amr ythkwn warTwsh nbwatha kdyn lhwn wthymr dyy bshma nbwatha mh lmymr bhyn aw spr aw hdyn ema yshalynk wary
“When this people, or the prophet, or a priest, asks you, saying, ‘What is the message from Yahweh?’ Then you shall tell them, ‘“What message? I will cast you off,” says Yahweh.’
34
וספר וכהן ועמא דימר נבואתא בשמא דיי ואסער על גברא ההוא ועל ביתיה:
bythyh wel hhwa gbra el waser dyy bshma nbwatha dymr wema wkhn wspr
As for the prophet, the priest, and the people, who say, ‘The message from Yahweh,’ I will even punish that man and his household.
35
כדין תימרון גבר לחבריה וגבר לאחוהי מה אתיב יי ומה מליל יי:
yy mlyl wmh yy athyb mh lakhwhy wgbr lkhbryh gbr thymrwn kdyn
You will say everyone to his neighbor, and everyone to his brother, ‘What has Yahweh answered?’ and, ‘What has Yahweh said?’

ונבואה בשמא דיי לא תדכרון עוד ארי נבואתא תהי לגבר דמקים פתגמי רעותיה ואתון מדמן לבטלא ית פתגמי אלהא קימא דיי צבאות אלהנא:
alhna tsbawth dyy qyma alha pthgmy yth lbTla mdmn wathwn rewthyh pthgmy dmqym lgbr thhy nbwatha ary ewd thdkrwn la dyy bshma wnbwah
You will mention the message from Yahweh no more, for every man’s own word has become his message; for you have perverted the words of the living God, of Yahweh of Armies, our God.
37
כדין תימר לנביא מה אתיבך יי ומה מליל יי:
yy mlyl wmh yy athybk mh lnbya thymr kdyn
You will say to the prophet, ‘What has Yahweh answered you?’ and, ‘What has Yahweh spoken?’
38
ואם נבואה בשמא דיי תימרון בכן כדנן אמר יי חלף דאמרתון ית פתגמא הדין נבואה בשמא דיי ושלחית לותכון למימר לא תימרון נבואתא מקדם יי:
yy mqdm nbwatha thymrwn la lmymr lwthkwn wshlkhyth dyy bshma nbwah hdyn pthgma yth damrthwn khlp yy amr kdnn bkn thymrwn dyy bshma nbwah wam
Although you say, ‘The message from Yahweh,’ therefore Yahweh says: ‘Because you say this word, “The message from Yahweh,” and I have sent to you, telling you not to say, “The message from Yahweh,”
39
בכן האנא שלח רוגזי וארטוש יתכון מרטש וארחיק יתכון וית קרתא דיהבית לכון ולאבהתכון מקביל מימרי:
mymry mqbyl wlabhthkwn lkwn dyhbyth qrtha wyth ythkwn warkhyq mrTsh ythkwn warTwsh rwgzy shlkh hana bkn
therefore behold, I will utterly forget you, and I will cast you off with the city that I gave to you and to your fathers, away from my presence.
