זכאי את יי מלמידן לקבל פתגמך ברם שאילת דינין אנא שאיל מן קדמך מה דין אורחת רשיעיא מצלחא שלן שליוא כל משקרי שקר:
shqr mshqry kl shlywa shln mtslkha rshyeya awrkhth dyn mh qdmk mn shayl ana dynyn shaylth brm pthgmk lqbl mlmydn yy ath zkay
You are righteous, Yahweh, when I contend with you; yet I would like to plead a case with you. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why are they all at ease who deal very treacherously?

קימתינון אף תקיפו עתרו אף קנו נכסין קריבין פתגמי אוריתך בפומהון ורחיקא דחלתך מכוליתהון:
mkwlythhwn dkhlthk wrkhyqa bpwmhwn awrythk pthgmy qrybyn nksyn qnw ap ethrw thqypw ap qymthynwn
You have planted them. Yes, they have taken root. They grow. Yes, they produce fruit. You are near in their mouth, and far from their heart.

ואת יי כולא ידיע וגלי קדמך דאת בחר לבביא דרען בדחלתך רשיעיא אתקנינון כענא לנכסתא וזמנינון ליום קטולי:
qTwly lywm wzmnynwn lnkstha kena athqnynwn rshyeya bdkhlthk dren lbbya bkhr dath qdmk wgly ydye kwla yy wath
But you, Yahweh, know me. You see me, and test my heart toward you. Pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and prepare them for the day of slaughter.

עד אימתי תחרוב ארעא ועשבא דכל חקלא ייבש מחובי רשיעיא דיתבון בה סף בעירא ועופא ארי אמרו לא גלי קדמוהי סופנא:
swpna qdmwhy gly la amrw ary wewpa beyra sp bh dythbwn rshyeya mkhwby yybsh khqla dkl weshba area thkhrwb aymthy ed
How long will the land mourn, and the herbs of the whole country wither? Because of the wickedness of those who dwell therein, the animals and birds are consumed; because they said, “He won’t see our latter end.”

דנא תיובתא לירמיה נביא על בעותיה נביא את דמי לגברא דרהט עם רגלאה ולאי ואיכדין את מדמי למרהט כל קביל סוסיתא בבקעתא ובארעא שלמא את מתבטח ונפיל ואיכדין את מדמי למעבד כל קביל חיות ברא די ברום ירדנא ואם על טבון דאנא מוטב לנבוכדנאצר מלכא דבבל רגלאה נביא את חזי ומתמיה ומן פון דאחזינך מה דאנא עתיד למעבד לאבהתך צדיקיא דמן עלמא דרהטו כסוסותא למעבד עובדין טבין קדמי ואף אמרית להון דאיתי על בניהון ברכן ונחמן הא כמיא דנחתין שטוף לירדנא:
lyrdna shTwp dnkhthyn kmya ha wnkhmn brkn bnyhwn el daythy lhwn amryth wap qdmy Tbyn ewbdyn lmebd kswswtha drhTw elma dmn tsdyqya labhthk lmebd ethyd dana mh dakhzynk pwn wmn wmthmyh khzy ath nbya rglah dbbl mlka lnbwkdnatsr mwTb dana Tbwn el wam yrdna brwm dy bra khywth qbyl kl lmebd mdmy ath waykdyn wnpyl mthbTkh ath shlma wbarea bbqetha swsytha qbyl kl lmrhT mdmy ath waykdyn wlay rglah em drhT lgbra dmy ath nbya bewthyh el nbya lyrmyh thywbtha dna
“If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you, then how can you contend with horses? Though in a land of peace you are secure, yet how will you do in the pride of the Jordan?

ודאת ירמיה בעי עליהון רחמין ארי ית אחך ובית אבוך אף אינון שקרו בך אף אינון אמרו עלך מילין בישין לא תהימן בהון ארי יימרון עלך פתגמין תקנין:
thqnyn pthgmyn elk yymrwn ary bhwn thhymn la byshyn mylyn elk amrw aynwn ap bk shqrw aynwn ap abwk wbyth akhk yth ary rkhmyn elyhwn bey yrmyh wdath
For even your brothers, and the house of your father, even they have dealt treacherously with you! Even they have cried aloud after you! Don’t believe them, though they speak beautiful words to you.

שבקית ית בית מקדשי רטישית ית אחסנתי ומסרית ית עמא דהוה חביב קדמי ביד סנאוהי:
snawhy byd qdmy khbyb dhwh ema yth wmsryth akhsnthy yth rTyshyth mqdshy byth yth shbqyth
“I have forsaken my house. I have cast off my heritage. I have given the dearly beloved of my soul into the hand of her enemies.

הות קדמי אחסנתי כאריא בחורשא סליקת עלי אתרגושתה על כן רחיקתה:
rkhyqthh kn el athrgwshthh ely slyqth bkhwrsha karya akhsnthy qdmy hwth
My heritage has become to me as a lion in the forest. She has uttered her voice against me. Therefore I have hated her.

כעופא דמתבדר כן אתבדרת אחסנתי קדמי וכעופא דמשתדי כן יתכנשון עלה דקטלין בחרבא מסחור סחור מלכי עממיא ומשריתיהון ייתון עלה למבזה:
lmbzh elh yythwn wmshrythyhwn emmya mlky skhwr mskhwr bkhrba dqTlyn elh ythknshwn kn dmshthdy wkewpa qdmy akhsnthy athbdrth kn dmthbdr kewpa
Is my heritage to me as a speckled bird of prey? Are the birds of prey against her all around? Go, assemble all the animals of the field. Bring them to devour.

מלכין סגיאין קטלו עמי דושישו ית אחסנתי יהבין ית אחסנת חמדתי למדבר צדו:
tsdw lmdbr khmdthy akhsnth yth yhbyn akhsnthy yth dwshyshw emy qTlw sgyayn mlkyn
Many shepherds have destroyed my vineyard. They have trodden my portion under foot. They have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.

שויוהא לצדו אתאבלת קדמי חרובת צדיאת כל ארעא ארי לית אנש דמשוי דחלתי על לבא:
lba el dkhlthy dmshwy ansh lyth ary area kl tsdyath khrwbth qdmy athablth ltsdw shwywha
They have made it a desolation. It mourns to me, being desolate. The whole land is made desolate, because no one cares.

על כל נגרין במדברא אתו בזוזין ארי חרבא קדם יי מקטלא מסיפי ארעא ועד סיפי ארעא לית שלמא לכל בשרא:
bshra lkl shlma lyth area sypy wed area msypy mqTla yy qdm khrba ary bzwzyn athw bmdbra ngryn kl el
Destroyers have come on all the bare heights in the wilderness; for the sword of Yahweh devours from the one end of the land even to the other end of the land. No flesh has peace.

לא תהון דמין לדזרעו חטים על ביר ולא משכחין למכנש אלהין כובין ומעללתהון לית להון הנאה ותבהתון בעובדיכון במיתי עליכון תקוף רוגזא דיי:
dyy rwgza thqwp elykwn bmythy bewbdykwn wthbhthwn hnah lhwn lyth wmellthhwn kwbyn alhyn lmknsh mshkkhyn wla byr el khTym ldzrew dmyn thhwn la
They have sown wheat, and have reaped thorns. They have exhausted themselves, and profit nothing. You will be ashamed of your fruits, because of Yahweh’s fierce anger.”

כדנן אמר יי על כל מגיריא בישיא דמנזקין באחסנתא דאחסנית ית עמי ית ישראל הא אנא מטלטיל להון מעל ארעהון וית דבית יהודה אטלטיל מביניהון:
mbynyhwn aTlTyl yhwdh dbyth wyth arehwn mel lhwn mTlTyl ana ha yshral yth emy yth dakhsnyth bakhsntha dmnzqyn byshya mgyrya kl el yy amr kdnn
Yahweh says, “Concerning all my evil neighbors, who touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit: Behold, I will pluck them up from off their land, and will pluck up the house of Judah from among them.

והוה בתר דאטלטל יתהון אתוב במימרי וארחים עליהון ואתבינון גבר לאחסנתיה וגבר לארעיה:
lareyh wgbr lakhsnthyh gbr wathbynwn elyhwn warkhym bmymry athwb ythhwn daTlTl bthr whwh
It will happen that after I have plucked them up, I will return and have compassion on them. I will bring them again, every man to his heritage, and every man to his land.

ויהי אם מילף יילפון מאורחת כנשתא דעמי לקימא בשמי קים הוא יי כמא דאליפו ית עמי לקימא בשום טעותא ויתקימין בגו עמי:
emy bgw wythqymyn Tewtha bshwm lqyma emy yth dalypw kma yy hwa qym bshmy lqyma demy knshtha mawrkhth yylpwn mylp am wyhy
It will happen, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, ‘As Yahweh lives;’ even as they taught my people to swear by Baal, then they will be built up in the middle of my people.
