פתגם נבואה דהוה עם ירמיה מן קדם יי למימר:
lmymr yy qdm mn yrmyh em dhwh nbwah pthgm
The word that came to Jeremiah from Yahweh, saying,

קבילו ית פתגמי קימא הדין ותמללון עם אנש יהודה ועל יתבי ירושלם:
yrwshlm ythby wel yhwdh ansh em wthmllwn hdyn qyma pthgmy yth qbylw
“Hear the words of this covenant, and speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem;

ותימר להון כדנן אמר יי אלהא דישראל ליט גברא דלא יקביל ית פתגמי קימא הדין:
hdyn qyma pthgmy yth yqbyl dla gbra lyT dyshral alha yy amr kdnn lhwn wthymr
and say to them, Yahweh, the God of Israel says: ‘Cursed is the man who doesn’t hear the words of this covenant,

דפקדית ית אבהתכון ביומא דאפקית יתהון מארעא מצרים מכורא דפרזלא למימר קבילו למימרי ותעבדון יתהון ככל דאפקיד יתכון ותהון קדמי לעם ואנא אהוי לכון לאלה:
lalh lkwn ahwy wana lem qdmy wthhwn ythkwn dapqyd kkl ythhwn wthebdwn lmymry qbylw lmymr dprzla mkwra mtsrym marea ythhwn dapqyth bywma abhthkwn yth dpqdyth
which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, out of the iron furnace,’ saying, ‘Obey my voice and do them, according to all which I command you; so you shall be my people, and I will be your God;

בדיל לקימא ית קימא דקימית לאבהתכון למתן להון ארעא עבדא חלב ודבש כיומא הדין ואתיבית ואמרית אמן יי:
yy amn wamryth wathybyth hdyn kywma wdbsh khlb ebda area lhwn lmthn labhthkwn dqymyth qyma yth lqyma bdyl
that I may establish the oath which I swore to your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey,’ as it is today.” Then I answered, and said, “Amen, Yahweh.”

ואמר יי לי אתנבי ית כל פתגמיא האלין בקרויא דבית יהודה ובשוקי ירושלם למימר קבילו ית פתגמי קימא הדין ותעבדון יתהון:
ythhwn wthebdwn hdyn qyma pthgmy yth qbylw lmymr yrwshlm wbshwqy yhwdh dbyth bqrwya halyn pthgmya kl yth athnby ly yy wamr
Yahweh said to me, “Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, ‘Hear the words of this covenant, and do them.

ארי אסהדא אסהדית באבהתכון ביומא דאסקית יתהון מארעא דמצרים ועד יומא הדין מקדים ומסהיד למימר קבילו למימרי:
lmymry qbylw lmymr wmshyd mqdym hdyn ywma wed dmtsrym marea ythhwn dasqyth bywma babhthkwn ashdyth ashda ary
For I earnestly protested to your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even to this day, rising early and protesting, saying, “Obey my voice.”

ולא קבילו ולא ארכינו ית אודנהון ואזלו גבר בהרהור לבהון בישא ואיתיתי עליהון פורענותא על דלא קבילו פתגמי קימא הדין דפקדית למעבד ולא עבדו:
ebdw wla lmebd dpqdyth hdyn qyma pthgmy qbylw dla el pwrenwtha elyhwn waythythy bysha lbhwn bhrhwr gbr wazlw awdnhwn yth arkynw wla qbylw wla
Yet they didn’t obey, nor turn their ear, but everyone walked in the stubbornness of their evil heart. Therefore I brought on them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do, but they didn’t do them.’”

ואמר יי לי אשתכח דמרדו במימרי אנש יהודה ויתבי ירושלם:
yrwshlm wythby yhwdh ansh bmymry dmrdw ashthkkh ly yy wamr
Yahweh said to me, “A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

תבו לחובי אבהתהון קדמאי דסריבו לקבלא ית פתגמי ואינון טעו בתר פלחי כוכביא למפלחהון אשניאו בית ישראל ובית יהודה ית קימי דגזרית ית אבהתכון:
abhthkwn yth dgzryth qymy yth yhwdh wbyth yshral byth ashnyaw lmplkhhwn kwkbya plkhy bthr Tew waynwn pthgmy yth lqbla dsrybw qdmay abhthhwn lkhwby thbw
They have turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, who refused to hear my words. They have gone after other gods to serve them. The house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers.

בכן כדנן אמר יי הא אנא מיתי עליכון בישתא דלא יכלון לאשתזבא מנה ויצלון קדמי ולא אקביל צלותהון:
tslwthhwn aqbyl wla qdmy wytslwn mnh lashthzba yklwn dla byshtha elykwn mythy ana ha yy amr kdnn bkn
Therefore Yahweh says, ‘Behold, I will bring evil on them which they will not be able to escape; and they will cry to me, but I will not listen to them.

ויהכון אנש קרויא דבית יהודה ויתבי ירושלם ויבעון מן טעותא דאינון מסקין בוסמין להן האם יכלן למפרקהון בעידן בישתהון:
byshthhwn beydn lmprqhwn ykln ham lhn bwsmyn msqyn daynwn Tewtha mn wybewn yrwshlm wythby yhwdh dbyth qrwya ansh wyhkwn
Then the cities of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem will go and cry to the gods to which they offer incense, but they will not save them at all in the time of their trouble.

ארי מנין קרויכון הואה דחלתכון דבית יהודה ומנין שוקי ירושלם שויתון אגורין לבהתא ואגורין לאסקא בוסמין לבעלא:
lbela bwsmyn lasqa wagwryn lbhtha agwryn shwythwn yrwshlm shwqy wmnyn yhwdh dbyth dkhlthkwn hwah qrwykwn mnyn ary
For according to the number of your cities are your gods, Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem you have set up altars to the shameful thing, even altars to burn incense to Baal.’

ואת לא תצלי על עמא הדין ולא תתחנן עליהון בבעו ובצלו ארי לא רעוא קדמי בעידן דאת מצלי עליהון קדמי בעידן בישתהון:
byshthhwn beydn qdmy elyhwn mtsly dath beydn qdmy rewa la ary wbtslw bbew elyhwn ththkhnn wla hdyn ema el thtsly la wath
“Therefore don’t pray for this people. Don’t lift up cry or prayer for them; for I will not hear them in the time that they cry to me because of their trouble.

מה לעמא דהוה חביב קדמי שבקו פולחן בית מקדשי עבדו עצה לחטאין סגיאין מערבין בשר שקוצין עם בשר קודשא יגלון מניך מן קדם בשתיך בכן הויתא תקיפא:
thqypa hwytha bkn bshthyk qdm mn mnyk yglwn qwdsha bshr em shqwtsyn bshr merbyn sgyayn lkhTayn etsh ebdw mqdshy byth pwlkhn shbqw qdmy khbyb dhwh lema mh
What has my beloved to do in my house, since she has behaved lewdly with many, and the holy flesh has passed from you? When you do evil, then you rejoice.”

הא כאילן זיתא דשפיר בריויה ויאי בחזויה וסוכיה מטלן באילניא כן רבי יי שמיך בעממיא וכדו דעברת על אוריתא משרית עממין דתקיפין כאשתא ייתון עלך ויתחברון להון סומכון:
swmkwn lhwn wythkhbrwn elk yythwn kashtha dthqypyn emmyn mshryth awrytha el debrth wkdw bemmya shmyk yy rby kn baylnya mTln wswkyh bkhzwyh wyay brywyh dshpyr zytha kayln ha
Yahweh called your name, “A green olive tree, beautiful with goodly fruit.” With the noise of a great roar he has kindled fire on it, and its branches are broken.

ויי צבאות דקים יתיך גזר לאיתאה עלך בישא בדיל חובי בית ישראל ובית יהודה דעבדו להון לארגזא קדמי לאסקא בוסמין לבעלא:
lbela bwsmyn lasqa qdmy largza lhwn debdw yhwdh wbyth yshral byth khwby bdyl bysha elk laythah gzr ythyk dqym tsbawth wyy
For Yahweh of Armies, who planted you, has pronounced evil against you, because of the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done to themselves in provoking me to anger by offering incense to Baal.

ויי אלפני ואליפית בכן אחזיתני עובדיהון:
ewbdyhwn akhzythny bkn walypyth alpny wyy
Yahweh gave me knowledge of it, and I knew it. Then you showed me their doings.
19
ואנא כאימר בחיר דלנכסתא מתובל ולא ידעית ארי עלי חשיבו עשתונין בישין אמרין נרמי סמא דמותא במיכליה ונשיציניה מארעא דישראל ושמיה לא ידכר עוד:
ewd ydkr la wshmyh dyshral marea wnshytsynyh bmyklyh dmwtha sma nrmy amryn byshyn eshthwnyn khshybw ely ary ydeyth wla mthwbl dlnkstha bkhyr kaymr wana
But I was like a gentle lamb that is led to the slaughter. I didn’t know that they had devised plans against me, saying, “Let’s destroy the tree with its fruit, and let’s cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.”

ויי צבאות דיין קשוט גלין קדמוהי כולין ולב אחזי פורענות דינך מנהון ארי קדמך אמרית ית עלבני:
elbny yth amryth qdmk ary mnhwn dynk pwrenwth akhzy wlb kwlyn qdmwhy glyn qshwT dyyn tsbawth wyy
But, Yahweh of Armies, who judges righteously, who tests the heart and the mind, I will see your vengeance on them; for to you I have revealed my cause.

בכן כדנן אמר יי על אנשי דבען למקטלך דאמרין לא תתנבי בשמא דיי ולא תמות בידנא:
bydna thmwth wla dyy bshma ththnby la damryn lmqTlk dben anshy el yy amr kdnn bkn
“Therefore Yahweh says concerning the men of Anathoth, who seek your life, saying, ‘You shall not prophesy in Yahweh’s name, that you not die by our hand’—

בכן כדנן אמר יי צבאות האנא מסער עליהון עולימהון יתקטלון בחרבא בניהון ובנתיהון ימותון בכפנא:
bkpna ymwthwn wbnthyhwn bnyhwn bkhrba ythqTlwn ewlymhwn elyhwn mser hana tsbawth yy amr kdnn bkn
therefore Yahweh of Armies says, ‘Behold, I will punish them. The young men will die by the sword. Their sons and their daughters will die by famine.
