“I am inquired of by those who didn’t ask. I am found by those who didn’t seek me. I said, ‘See me, see me,’ to a nation that was not called by my name.

ܦܫ̇ܛܬ ܐ̈ܝܕܝ ܝܘܡܐ ܟܠܗ ܥܠ ܥܡܐ ܕܠܐ ܡܬܛܦܝܣ ܕܡܗܠܟܝܢ ܒܬܪ ܬܪ̈ܥܝܬܗܘܢ ܒܐܘܪܚܐ ܕܠܐ ܫܦܝܪܐ

I have spread out my hands all day to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, after their own thoughts;

ܥܡܐ ܕܡܪܓܙܝܢ ܠܝ ܐܡܝܢܐܝܬ ܕܒܚ̇ܝܢ ܒܓܢ̈ܐ ܘܣܝ̇ܡܝܢ ܒܣ̈ܡܐ ܥܠ ܐܒ̈ܢܐ
'bn' el bsm' wsymyn bgn' dbkhyn 'myn'yth ly dmrgzyn em'
a people who provoke me to my face continually, sacrificing in gardens, and burning incense on bricks;

ܘܝ̇ܬܒܝܢ ܒܩܒܪ̈ܐ ܘܒܝ̇ܬܝܢ ܒܡܥܪ̈ܐ ܘܐܟ̇ܠܝܢ ܒܣܪܐ ܕܚܙܝܪܐ ܘܡܛܘܫܝܢ ܒܫ̈ܠܕܐ ܡܐ̈ܢܝܗܘܢ ܠܡܫܪܐ ܢܡܘܣܐ ܘܠܡܛܡܐܘ ܩܝܡܐ ܩܕܝܫܐ ܕܢܪܓܙܘܢ ܠܡܪܝܐ
lmry' dnrgzwn qdysh' qym' wlmTm'w nmws' lmshr' m'nyhwn bshld' wmTwshyn dkhzyr' bsr' w'klyn bmer' wbythyn bqbr' wythbyn
who sit among the graves, and spend nights in secret places; who eat pig’s meat, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;

ܘܐܡ̇ܪܝܢ ܦܪܘܩ ܠܗܠ ܠܐ ܬܬܩܪܒ ܠܝ ܡܛܠ ܕܡܩܕܫ ܐܢܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܗ̈ܘܝ ܬܢܢܐ ܒܪܘܓܙܝ ܘܢܘܪܐ ܕܝܩ̇ܕܐ ܒܟܠ ܝܘܡ
ywm bkl dyqd' wnwr' brwgzy thnn' hwy hlyn 'n' dmqdsh mTl ly ththqrb l' lhl prwq w'mryn
who say, ‘Stay by yourself, don’t come near to me, for I am holier than you.’ These are smoke in my nose, a fire that burns all day.

ܗܐ ܟܬܝܒܐ ܩܕܡܝ ܠܐ ܐܫܬܘܩ ܥܕܡܐ ܕܐܦܪܘܥ ܐܢܘܢ ܐܥܦܐ ܒܥܘܒܗܘܢ
bewbhwn 'ep' 'nwn d'prwe edm' 'shthwq l' qdmy kthyb' h'
“Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will repay, yes, I will repay into their bosom

ܚ̈ܛܗܝܗܘܢ ܘܚ̈ܛܗܐ ܕܐ̈ܒܗܝܗܘܢ ܚܫܩܒܘܠ ܐܢܘܢ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܕܣܡܘ ܒܣ̈ܡܐ ܥܠ ܛܘܪ̈ܐ ܘܥܠ ܪ̈ܡܬܐ ܚܣܕܘܢܝ ܐܡܫܘܚ ܥ̇ܒ̈ܕܝܗܘܢ ܠܘܩܕܡ ܒܥܘܒܗܘܢ
bewbhwn lwqdm ebdyhwn 'mshwkh khsdwny rmth' wel Twr' el bsm' dsmw mry' 'mr 'nwn khshqbwl d'bhyhwn wkhTh' khThyhwn
your own iniquities and the iniquities of your fathers together”, says Yahweh, “who have burned incense on the mountains, and blasphemed me on the hills. Therefore I will first measure their work into their bosom.”

ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܝܟ ܕܡܫܬܟܚܐ ܛܘܛܝܬܐ ܒܣܓܘܠܐ ܘܐܡ̇ܪ ܐܢܫ ܠܚܒܪܗ ܠܐ ܬܚܒܠܝܘܗܝ ܡܛܠ ܕܒܘܪܟܬܐ ܐܝܬ ܒܗ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܥܒܕ ܡܛܠ ܥܒ̈ܕܝ ܘܠܐ ܐܚܒܠ ܠܟܠܗܘܢ

Yahweh says, “As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one says, ‘Don’t destroy it, for a blessing is in it:’ so I will do for my servants’ sake, that I may not destroy them all.

ܘܐܦܩ ܙܪܥܐ ܡܢ ܝܥܩܘܒ ܘܡܢ ܝܗܘܕܐ ܝܪܬܐ ܕܛܘܪܝ ܘܢܐܪܬܘܢܗ̇ ܓܒ̈ܝܝ ܘܥܒ̈ܕܝ ܢܥܡܪܘܢ ܬܡܢ
thmn nemrwn webdy gbyy wn'rthwnh dTwry yrth' yhwd' wmn yeqwb mn zre' w'pq
I will bring offspring out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains. My chosen will inherit it, and my servants will dwell there.

ܘܢܗܘܐ ܫܪܘܢܐ ܕܝܪܐ ܠܥܢܐ ܘܥܘܡܩܐ ܕܥܟܪ ܠܡܪܒܥܐ ܕܒܩܪ̈ܐ ܠܥܡܝ ܕܒܥܐܘܢܝ
dbe'wny lemy dbqr' lmrbe' dekr wewmq' len' dyr' shrwn' wnhw'
Sharon will be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down in, for my people who have sought me.

ܘܐܢܬܘܢ ܕܫܒܩܬܘܢ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܘܛܥܝܬܘܢ ܛܘܪܗ ܩܕܝܫܐ ܘܡܠܝܬܘܢ ܦܬܘܪ̈ܐ ܠܓܕ̈ܐ ܘܡܙܓܬܘܢ ܠܗܘܢ ܐ̈ܓܢܐ
'gn' lhwn wmzgthwn lgd' pthwr' wmlythwn qdysh' Twrh wTeythwn lmry' dshbqthwn w'nthwn
“But you who forsake Yahweh, who forget my holy mountain, who prepare a table for Fortune, and who fill up mixed wine to Destiny;

ܐܡܢܝܟܘܢ ܒܚܪܒܐ ܘܟܠܟܘܢ ܒܩܛܠܐ ܬܒܪܟܘܢ ܥܠ ܕܩ̇ܪܝܬ ܘܠܐ ܥܢܝܬܘܢ ܘܡܠܠ̇ܬ ܘܠܐ ܫܡܥܬܘܢ ܘܥܒܕܬܘܢ ܕܒܝܫ ܩܕܡܝ ܘܓܒܝܬܘܢ ܡܕܡ ܕܠܐ ܨܒ̇ܐ ܐܢܐ
'n' tsb' dl' mdm wgbythwn qdmy dbysh webdthwn shmethwn wl' wmllth enythwn wl' dqryth el thbrkwn bqTl' wklkwn bkhrb' 'mnykwn
I will destine you to the sword, and you will all bow down to the slaughter; because when I called, you didn’t answer. When I spoke, you didn’t listen; but you did that which was evil in my eyes, and chose that in which I didn’t delight.”

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܐ ܗܐ ܥܒ̈ܕܝ ܢܐܟܠܘܢ ܘܐܢܬܘܢ ܬܟܦܢܘܢ ܗܐ ܥܒ̈ܕܝ ܢܫܬܘܢ ܘܐܢܬܘܢ ܬܨܗܘܢ ܗܐ ܥܒ̈ܕܝ ܢܚܕܘܢ ܘܐܢܬܘܢ ܬܒܟܘܢ

Therefore the Lord Yahweh says, “Behold, my servants will eat, but you will be hungry; behold, my servants will drink, but you will be thirsty. Behold, my servants will rejoice, but you will be disappointed.

ܗܐ ܥܒ̈ܕܝ ܢܫܒܚܘܢ ܡܢ ܛܒ̈ܬܐ ܕܠܒܗܘܢ ܘܐܢܬܘܢ ܬܒܓܢܘܢ ܡܢ ܟܐܒܗ ܕܠܒܟܘܢ ܘܡܢ ܬܒܪܗ̇ ܕܪܘܚܟܘܢ
drwkhkwn thbrh wmn dlbkwn k'bh mn thbgnwn w'nthwn dlbhwn Tbth' mn nshbkhwn ebdy h'
Behold, my servants will sing for joy of heart, but you will cry for sorrow of heart, and will wail for anguish of spirit.

ܘܬܫܒܩܘܢ ܫܡܟܘܢ ܡܘܡ̈ܬܐ ܠܓܒܝ̈ܝ ܘܢܡܝܬܟ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܐ ܘܠܥܒ̈ܕܘܗܝ ܢܩܪܐ ܫܡܐ ܐܚܪܢܐ
'khrn' shm' nqr' wlebdwhy 'lh' mry' wnmythk lgbyy mwmth' shmkwn wthshbqwn
You will leave your name for a curse to my chosen, and the Lord Yahweh will kill you. He will call his servants by another name,

ܕܡܬܒܪܟ ܒܐܪܥܐ ܡܬܒܪܟ ܒܐܠܗܐ ܐܡܝܢ ܘܕܝ̇ܡܐ ܒܐܪܥܐ ܝܡ̇ܐ ܒܐܠܗܐ ܐܡܝܢ ܡܛܠ ܕܢܬܛ̈ܥܝܢ ܥܩ̈ܬܐ ܩܕܡ̈ܝܬܐ ܘܢܬܟܣ̈ܝܢ ܡܢ ܩܕܡܝ
qdmy mn wnthksyn qdmyth' eqth' dnthTeyn mTl 'myn b'lh' ym' b're' wdym' 'myn b'lh' mthbrk b're' dmthbrk
so that he who blesses himself in the earth will bless himself in the God of truth; and he who swears in the earth will swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hidden from my eyes.

ܡܛܘܠ ܕܗܐ ܐܢܐ ܒ̇ܪܐ ܐܢܐ ܫܡܝܐ ܚ̈ܕܬܐ ܘܐܪܥܐ ܚܕܬܐ ܘܠܐ ܢܬܕܟܪܘܢ ܩܕܡ̈ܝܬܐ ܘܠܐ ܢܣ̈ܩܢ ܥܠ ܠܒܐ
lb' el nsqn wl' qdmyth' nthdkrwn wl' khdth' w're' khdth' shmy' 'n' br' 'n' dh' mTwl
“For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things will not be remembered, nor come into mind.

ܐܠܐ ܢܚܕܘܢ ܘܢܕܘܨܘܢ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ ܕܒ̇ܪܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܗܐ ܒ̇ܪܐ ܐܢܐ ܠܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܕܝ̇ܨܐ ܘܒܗ̇ ܐܚܕܐ
'khd' wbh dyts' l'wrshlm 'n' br' dh' mTl 'n' dbr' elmyn lelm wndwtswn nkhdwn 'l'
But be glad and rejoice forever in that which I create; for, behold, I create Jerusalem to be a delight, and her people a joy.

ܘܐܚܕܐ ܒܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܘܐܕܘܨ ܒܥܡܝ ܘܬܘܒ ܠܐ ܢܫܬܡܥ ܒܗ̇ ܩܠܐ ܕܒܟܬܐ ܘܩܠܐ ܕܝܠܠܬܐ
dyllth' wql' dbkth' ql' bh nshthme l' wthwb bemy w'dwts b'wrshlm w'khd'
I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and delight in my people; and the voice of weeping and the voice of crying will be heard in her no more.

ܘܬܘܒ ܠܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܬܡܢ ܛܠܐ ܝܘܡ̈ܬܐ ܘܣܒܐ ܕܠܐ ܢܡܠܐ ܝܘܡ̈ܬܗ ܡܛܠ ܕܛܠܝܐ ܒܪ ܡܐܐ ܫ̈ܢܝܢ ܢܡܘܬ ܘܐܝܢܐ ܕܚ̇ܛܐ ܒܪ ܡܐܐ ܫ̈ܢܝܢ ܢܬܠܝܛ
nthlyT shnyn m'' br dkhT' w'yn' nmwth shnyn m'' br dTly' mTl ywmthh nml' dl' wsb' ywmth' Tl' thmn nhw' l' wthwb
“No more will there be an infant who only lives a few days, nor an old man who has not filled his days; for the child will die one hundred years old, and the sinner being one hundred years old will be accursed.

ܘܢܒܢܘܢ ܒ̈ܬܐ ܘܢܬܒܘܢ ܘܢܨܒܘܢ ܟܪ̈ܡܐ ܘܢܐܟܠܘܢ ܦܐܪ̈ܝܗܘܢ
p'ryhwn wn'klwn krm' wntsbwn wnthbwn bth' wnbnwn
They will build houses and inhabit them. They will plant vineyards and eat their fruit.

ܠܐ ܢܒܢܘܢ ܘܐܚܪ̈ܢܐ ܢܬܒܘܢ ܘܠܐ ܢܨܒܘܢ ܘܐܚܪ̈ܢܐ ܢܐܟܠܘܢ ܡܛܠ ܕܝܘܡ̈ܬܗ ܕܥܡܝ ܐܝܟ ܝܘܡ̈ܬܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܕܐܝ̈ܠܢܐ ܘܥ̇ܒܕ ܐ̈ܝܕܝܗܘܢ ܢܐܟܠܘܢ ܓܒ̈ܝܝ
gbyy n'klwn 'ydyhwn webd d'yln' 'nwn ywmth' 'yk demy dywmthh mTl n'klwn w'khrn' ntsbwn wl' nthbwn w'khrn' nbnwn l'
They will not build and another inhabit. They will not plant and another eat; for the days of my people will be like the days of a tree, and my chosen will long enjoy the work of their hands.

ܠܐ ܢܠܐܘܢ ܠܣܪܝܩܘܬܐ ܘܠܐ ܢܘܠܕܘܢ ܠܠܘܛܬܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܙܪܥܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܒܪܝܟܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܗܢܘܢ ܘܒܢ̈ܝܗܘܢ ܥܡܗܘܢ
emhwn wbnyhwn hnwn dmry' brykh 'nwn dzre' mTl llwTth' nwldwn wl' lsryqwth' nl'wn l'
They will not labor in vain nor give birth for calamity; for they are the offspring of Yahweh’s blessed and their descendants with them.

ܘܥܕ ܠܐ ܢܩܪܘܢ ܐܥܢܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܥܕܠܐ ܢܡܠܠܘܢ ܐܫܡܥ ܐܢܘܢ
'nwn 'shme nmllwn wedl' 'nwn 'en' nqrwn l' wed
It will happen that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

ܕܐܒܐ ܘܐܡܪܐ ܐܟܚܕܐ ܢܪܥܘܢ ܘܐܪܝܐ ܐܝܟ ܬܘܪܐ ܢܐܟܘܠ ܬܒܢܐ ܘܚܘܝܐ ܥܦܪܐ ܠܚܡܗ ܘܠܐ ܢܒܐܫܘܢ ܘܠܐ ܢܚܒܠܘܢ ܒܟܠܗ ܛܘܪܝ ܩܕܝܫܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܝܐ
mry' 'mr qdysh' Twry bklh nkhblwn wl' nb'shwn wl' lkhmh epr' wkhwy' thbn' n'kwl thwr' 'yk w'ry' nrewn 'kkhd' w'mr' d'b'
The wolf and the lamb will feed together. The lion will eat straw like the ox. Dust will be the serpent’s food. They will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain,” says Yahweh.
