ܩܘܡܝ ܐܢܗܪܝ ܡܛܠ ܕܡܛܐ ܢܘܗܪܟܝ ܘܐܝܩܪܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܥܠܝܟܝ ܢܕܢܚ

“Arise, shine; for your light has come, and Yahweh’s glory has risen on you!

ܡܛܠ ܕܗܐ ܚܫܘܟܐ ܡܟܣܐ ܠܐܪܥܐ ܘܥܪܦܠܐ ܠܐܡ̈ܘܬܐ ܘܥܠܝܟܝ ܢܕܢܚ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܐܝܩܪܗ ܥܠܝܟܝ ܢܬܚܙܐ
nthkhz' elyky w'yqrh mry' ndnkh welyky l'mwth' werpl' l're' mks' khshwk' dh' mTl
For behold, darkness will cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but Yahweh will arise on you, and his glory shall be seen on you.

ܘܢܐܬܘܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܠܢܘܗܪܟܝ ܘܡ̈ܠܟܐ ܠܢܘܗܪܐ ܕܕܢܚܟܝ

Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.

ܐܪܝܡܝ ܥܝܢ̈ܝܟܝ ܠܚܕܪ̈ܝܟܝ ܘܚܙܝ ܕܟܠܗܘܢ ܡܬܟܢܫܝܢ ܘܐ̇ܬܝܢ ܠܟܝ ܒܢ̈ܝܟܝ ܡܢ ܪܘܚܩܐ ܢܐܬܘܢ ܘܒܢ̈ܬܟܝ ܥܠ ܦܪ̈ܝܘܬܐ ܢܬܪ̈ܒܝܢ
nthrbyn prywth' el wbnthky n'thwn rwkhq' mn bnyky lky w'thyn mthknshyn dklhwn wkhzy lkhdryky eynyky 'rymy
“Lift up your eyes all around, and see: they all gather themselves together. They come to you. Your sons will come from far away, and your daughters will be carried in arms.

ܗܝܕܝܢ ܬܚܙܝܢ ܘܬܢܗܪܝܢ ܘܬܚܕܝܢ ܘܢܪܘܚ ܠܒܟܝ ܡܛܠ ܕܗ̇ܦܟ ܠܟܝ ܥܘܬܪܗ ܕܝܡܐ ܘܚܝ̈ܠܐ ܕܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܢܐܬܘܢ ܠܟܝ
lky n'thwn demm' wkhyl' dym' ewthrh lky dhpk mTl lbky wnrwkh wthkhdyn wthnhryn thkhzyn hydyn
Then you shall see and be radiant, and your heart will thrill and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea will be turned to you. The wealth of the nations will come to you.

ܐܒܠܬܐ ܕܓܡ̈ܠܐ ܬܟܣܝܟܝ ܒܘܟܪ̈ܐ ܕܡܕܝܢ ܘܕܥܦܐ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܡܢ ܫܒܐ ܢܐܬܘܢ ܕܗܒܐ ܘܠܒܘܢܬܐ ܢܫܩܠܘܢ ܘܬܫ̈ܒܚܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܢܣܒܪܘܢ
nsbrwn dmry' wthshbkhthh nshqlwn wlbwnth' dhb' n'thwn shb' mn klhwn wdep' dmdyn bwkr' thksyky dgml' 'blth'
A multitude of camels will cover you, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah. All from Sheba will come. They will bring gold and frankincense, and will proclaim the praises of Yahweh.

ܟܠܗ̇ ܥܢܐ ܕܩܕܪ ܢܟܢܫܘܢ ܠܟܝ ܘܕܟܪ̈ܐ ܕܢܒܐܘܬ ܢܫܡܫܘܢܟܝ ܘܢܣܩܘܢ ܠܨܒܝܢܐ ܥܠ ܡܕܒܚܝ ܘܒܝܬܐ ܕܬܫܒܘܚܬܝ ܐܫܒܚ
'shbkh dthshbwkhthy wbyth' mdbkhy el ltsbyn' wnsqwn nshmshwnky dnb'wth wdkr' lky nknshwn dqdr en' klh
All the flocks of Kedar will be gathered together to you. The rams of Nebaioth will serve you. They will be accepted as offerings on my altar; and I will beautify my glorious house.

ܡ̇ܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܕܐܝܟ ܥܢ̈ܢܐ ܦ̇ܪܚܝܢ ܘܐܝܟ ܝܘ̈ܢܐ ܠܟ̈ܘܝܗܝܢ
lkwyhyn ywn' w'yk prkhyn enn' d'yk hlyn 'nwn mn
“Who are these who fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?

ܡܛܠ ܕܠܝ ܢܣ̈ܟܝܢ ܓܙܪ̈ܬܐ ܘܐ̈ܠܦܐ ܕܬܪܫܝܫ ܐܝܟ ܕܒܩܕܡܝܬܐ ܠܡܝܬܝܘ ܒܢܝ̈ܟܝ ܡܢ ܪܘܚܩܐ ܘܣܐܡܗܘܢ ܘܕܗܒܗܘܢ ܥܡܗܘܢ ܫܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܟܝ ܘܩܕܝܫܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܕܫܒܚܟܝ
dshbkhky d'ysryl wqdysh' 'lhky dmry' shmh emhwn wdhbhwn ws'mhwn rwkhq' mn bnyky lmythyw dbqdmyth' 'yk dthrshysh w'lp' gzrth' nskyn dly mTl
Surely the islands will wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring your sons from far away, their silver and their gold with them, for the name of Yahweh your God, and for the Holy One of Israel, because he has glorified you.

ܘܢܒܢܘܢ ܒ̈ܢܝ ܢܘܟܪ̈ܝܐ ܫܘܪ̈ܝܟܝ ܘܡ̈ܠܟܝܗܘܢ ܢܫܡܫܘܢܟܝ ܡܛܠ ܕܒܪܘܓܙܝ ܡܚܝ̇ܬܟܝ ܘܒܨܒܝܢܝ ܪܚܡ̇ܬ ܥܠܝܟܝ

“Foreigners will build up your walls, and their kings will serve you; for in my wrath I struck you, but in my favor I have had mercy on you.

ܢܬܦܬܚܘܢ ܬܪ̈ܥܝܟܝ ܐܡܝܢܐܝܬ ܒܐܝܡܡܐ ܘܒܠܠܝܐ ܘܠܐ ܢܬܬܚܕܘܢ ܘܢܥܠܘܢ ܠܟܝ ܚܝ̈ܠܐ ܕܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܡ̈ܠܟܝܗܘܢ ܟܕ ܕܒܝܪܝܢ
dbyryn kd wmlkyhwn demm' khyl' lky wnelwn nththkhdwn wl' wblly' b'ymm' 'myn'yth threyky nthpthkhwn
Your gates also shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night, that men may bring to you the wealth of the nations, and their kings led captive.

ܡܛܠ ܕܥܡܐ ܘܡܠܟܘܬܐ ܕܠܐ ܢܦܠܚܘܢܟܝ ܢܐܒܕܘܢ ܘܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܒܚܪܒܐ ܢܬܚܪܒܘܢ
nthkhrbwn bkhrb' wemm' n'bdwn nplkhwnky dl' wmlkwth' dem' mTl
For that nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; yes, those nations shall be utterly wasted.

ܐܝܩܪܐ ܕܠܒܢܢ ܢܐܬܐ ܠܟܝ ܒܪܘܬܐ ܗܕܝܪܬܐ ܘܫܪ̈ܘܝܢܐ ܐܟܚܕܐ ܠܡܫܒܚܘ ܐܬܪܐ ܕܡܩܕܫܝ ܘܐܬܪܐ ܕܪ̈ܓܠܝ ܐܝܩܪܝ
'yqry drgly w'thr' dmqdshy 'thr' lmshbkhw 'kkhd' wshrwyn' hdyrth' brwth' lky n'th' dlbnn 'yqr'
“The glory of Lebanon shall come to you, the cypress tree, the pine, and the box tree together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.

ܘܢܐܬܘܢ ܠܟܝ ܟܕ ܡܡܟܟܝܢ ܒ̈ܢܝ ܡ̈ܡܟܟܢܝܟܝ ܘܢܣܓܕܘܢ ܠܦܣ̈ܐ ܕܪ̈ܓܠܝܟܝ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܡܪ̈ܓܙܢܝܟܝ ܘܢܩܪܘܢܟܝ ܨܗܝܘܢ ܩܪܝܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܩܕܝܫܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ
d'ysryl qdysh' dmry' qrythh tshywn wnqrwnky mrgznyky klhwn drglyky lps' wnsgdwn mmkknyky bny mmkkyn kd lky wn'thwn
The sons of those who afflicted you will come bowing to you; and all those who despised you will bow themselves down at the soles of your feet. They will call you Yahweh’s City, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

ܚܠܦ ܕܗܘܝܬܝ ܫܒܝܩܬܐ ܘܣܢܝܐܬܐ ܡܢ ܒܠܝ ܕܥܒ̇ܪ ܐܥܒܕܟܝ ܐܝܩܪܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܘܚܕܘܬܐ ܠܕܪܕܪܝܢ
ldrdryn wkhdwth' lelm 'yqr' 'ebdky debr bly mn wsny'th' shbyqth' dhwythy khlp
“Whereas you have been forsaken and hated, so that no one passed through you, I will make you an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.

ܘܬܐܢܩܝܢ ܚܠܒܐ ܕܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܒܙܬܐ ܕܡ̈ܠܟܐ ܬܐܢܩܝܢ ܘܬܕܥܝܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܦܪܘܩܟܝ ܘܡܦܨܝܢܟܝ ܬܩܝܦܗ ܕܝܥܩܘܒ
dyeqwb thqyph wmptsynky prwqky mry' 'n' d'n' wthdeyn th'nqyn dmlk' wbzth' demm' khlb' wth'nqyn
You will also drink the milk of the nations, and will nurse from royal breasts. Then you will know that I, Yahweh, am your Savior, your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.

ܚܠܦ ܢܚܫܐ ܐܝܬܐ ܕܗܒܐ ܘܚܠܦ ܦܪܙܠܐ ܐܝܬܐ ܣܐܡܐ ܘܚܠܦ ܩܝ̈ܣܐ ܢܚܫܐ ܘܚܠܦ ܟܐ̈ܦܐ ܦܪܙܠܐ ܘܐܥܒܕ ܫܠܡܐ ܦܩܘܕܟܝ ܘܫܠܝܛܟܝ ܙܕܝܩܘܬܐ
zdyqwth' wshlyTky pqwdky shlm' w'ebd przl' k'p' wkhlp nkhsh' qys' wkhlp s'm' 'yth' przl' wkhlp dhb' 'yth' nkhsh' khlp
For bronze I will bring gold; for iron I will bring silver; for wood, bronze, and for stones, iron. I will also make peace your governor, and righteousness your ruler.

ܘܠܐ ܢܫܬܡܥ ܬܘܒ ܥܘܠܐ ܒܐܪܥܟܝ ܘܒܙܬܐ ܘܬܒܪܐ ܒܬ̈ܚܘܡܝܟܝ ܘܢܩܪܘܢ ܫܘܪ̈ܝܟܝ ܦܘܪܩܢܐ ܘܬܪ̈ܥܝܟܝ ܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ
thshbwkhth' wthreyky pwrqn' shwryky wnqrwn bthkhwmyky wthbr' wbzth' b'reky ewl' thwb nshthme wl'
Violence shall no more be heard in your land, nor desolation or destruction within your borders; but you will call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.

ܘܠܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܠܟܝ ܬܘܒ ܫܡܫܐ ܠܢܘܗܪܐ ܕܐܝܡܡܐ ܘܢܘܗܪܗ ܕܣܗܪܐ ܠܐ ܢܢܗܪ ܠܟܝ ܡܛܠ ܕܢܗܘܐ ܠܟܝ ܡܪܝܐ ܢܘܗܪܐ ܠܥܠܡ
lelm nwhr' mry' lky dnhw' mTl lky nnhr l' dshr' wnwhrh d'ymm' lnwhr' shmsh' thwb lky nhw' wl'
The sun will be no more your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon give light to you, but Yahweh will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.

ܘܢܫܠܡܘܢ ܝܘܡ̈ܬܐ ܕܐܒܠܟܝ
d'blky ywmth' wnshlmwn
Your sun will not go down any more, nor will your moon withdraw itself; for Yahweh will be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning will end.

ܘܟܠܗ ܥܡܟܝ ܙܕܝܩܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܢܐܪܬܘܢ ܐܪܥܐ ܢܘܪܒܐ ܕܢܨ̇ܒܬ ܥ̇ܒܕ ܐܝ̈ܕܝ ܢܫܬܒܚ
nshthbkh 'ydy ebd dntsbth nwrb' 're' n'rthwn lelm zdyq' emky wklh
Then your people will all be righteous. They will inherit the land forever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

ܙܥܘܪܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܒܐ̈ܠܦܐ ܘܒܨܝܪܐ ܒܥܡܐ ܥܫܝܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܠܙܒܢܗ ܐܛܪܝܘܗܝ
'Trywhy lzbnh mry' 'n' eshyn' bem' wbtsyr' b'lp' nhw' zewr'
The little one will become a thousand, and the small one a strong nation. I, Yahweh, will do this quickly in its time.”
