הא לא מקפידות ידא מן קדם יי לית אתון מתפרקין ולא מדיקר קדמוהי מלמשמע לא מתקבלא צלותכון:
tslwthkwn mthqbla la mlmshme qdmwhy mdyqr wla mthprqyn athwn lyth yy qdm mn yda mqpydwth la ha
Behold, Yahweh’s hand is not shortened, that it can’t save; nor his ear dull, that it can’t hear.

אלהן חוביכון הוו מפרשין ביניכון לבין אלהכון וחטאיכון גרמו לסלקא אפי שכנתא מנכון מלקבלא צלותכון:
tslwthkwn mlqbla mnkwn shkntha apy lslqa grmw wkhTaykwn alhkwn lbyn bynykwn mprshyn hww khwbykwn alhn
But your iniquities have separated you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.

ארי ידיכון שוטפין בדם זכאי ואצבעתכון בחובין ספותכון ממללין שקר לישנכון נכלין מחשב:
mkhshb nklyn lyshnkwn shqr mmllyn spwthkwn bkhwbyn watsbethkwn zkay bdm shwTpyn ydykwn ary
For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity. Your lips have spoken lies. Your tongue mutters wickedness.

לית דמצלי בקשוט ולית דמתדן בהימנותא מתרחצין על למא וממללין שקר מוחן ומפקין מלבהון מלין דאונס:
dawns mlyn mlbhwn wmpqyn mwkhn shqr wmmllyn lma el mthrkhtsyn bhymnwtha dmthdn wlyth bqshwT dmtsly lyth
No one sues in righteousness, and no one pleads in truth. They trust in vanity and speak lies. They conceive mischief and give birth to iniquity.

הא כביעי חיוי חורמנין מפרתין וכקוין דעכוביתא מחיא דמן דאכיל מביעיהון מאית ומשחנן ומפקן חיון חורמנין מפרתין:
mprthyn khwrmnyn khywn wmpqn wmshkhnn mayth mbyeyhwn dakyl dmn mkhya dekwbytha wkqwyn mprthyn khwrmnyn khywy kbyey ha
They hatch adders’ eggs and weave the spider’s web. He who eats of their eggs dies; and that which is crushed breaks out into a viper.

הא כקוין דעכוביתא דלא כשרין לאתכסאה כן לית הנאה בעובדיהון דרשיעיא עובדיהון עובדי אונס וליאות שקר בידהון:
bydhwn shqr wlyawth awns ewbdy ewbdyhwn drshyeya bewbdyhwn hnah lyth kn lathksah kshryn dla dekwbytha kqwyn ha
Their webs won’t become garments. They won’t cover themselves with their works. Their works are works of iniquity, and acts of violence are in their hands.

רגליהון למעבד דביש רהטין ומוחין למשפך דם זכאי עשתוניהון עשתוני אונס בזא ותברא בכבשיהון:
bkbshyhwn wthbra bza awns eshthwny eshthwnyhwn zkay dm lmshpk wmwkhyn rhTyn dbysh lmebd rglyhwn
Their feet run to evil, and they hurry to shed innocent blood. Their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity. Desolation and destruction are in their paths.

אורח שלמא לא ידעין ולית דינא במהכיהון שביליהון עקימו להון כל דדריך בהון לא ידע שלמא:
shlma yde la bhwn ddryk kl lhwn eqymw shbylyhwn bmhkyhwn dyna wlyth ydeyn la shlma awrkh
They don’t know the way of peace; and there is no justice in their ways. They have made crooked paths for themselves; whoever goes in them doesn’t know peace.

על כן אתרחק דינא מננא ולא מערען לנא זכון סברנא לניהור והא חשוך לזיהור והא כדבקבלא אנחנא מהלכין:
mhlkyn ankhna kdbqbla wha lzyhwr khshwk wha lnyhwr sbrna zkwn lna meren wla mnna dyna athrkhq kn el
Therefore justice is far from us, and righteousness doesn’t overtake us. We look for light, but see darkness; for brightness, but we walk in obscurity.

נמשמש כסמן כותלין וכדלית להון עינין נמשמש אתקילנא בטיהרא כמא דמתקלין בקבלא אתאחד באפנא כמא דאחידין קבריא באפי מתיא:
mthya bapy qbrya dakhydyn kma bapna athakhd bqbla dmthqlyn kma bTyhra athqylna nmshmsh eynyn lhwn wkdlyth kwthlyn ksmn nmshmsh
We grope for the wall like the blind. Yes, we grope as those who have no eyes. We stumble at noon as if it were twilight. Among those who are strong, we are like dead men.

עסינא מן קדם בעלי דבבנא דמתכנשין עלנא כדובין כולנא וכיונין נהמא נהימנא סברנא לדינא ולית לפורקנא אתרחק מננא:
mnna athrkhq lpwrqna wlyth ldyna sbrna nhymna nhma wkywnyn kwlna kdwbyn elna dmthknshyn dbbna bely qdm mn esyna
We all roar like bears and moan sadly like doves. We look for justice, but there is none, for salvation, but it is far off from us.

ארי סגיאין חובנא קדמך וחטאנא אסהידו בנא ארי חובנא גלן לנא זעויתנא ידענא להון:
lhwn ydena zewythna lna gln khwbna ary bna ashydw wkhTana qdmk khwbna sgyayn ary
For our transgressions are multiplied before you, and our sins testify against us; for our transgressions are with us, and as for our iniquities, we know them:

מרידנא וכדיבנא במימרא דיי ואסתחרנא לאחורא מבתר פולחנא דאלהנא והוינא ממללין שקר וסטיא מוחן ומפקין מלבהון פתגמי שקר:
shqr pthgmy mlbhwn wmpqyn mwkhn wsTya shqr mmllyn whwyna dalhna pwlkhna mbthr lakhwra wasthkhrna dyy bmymra wkdybna mrydna
transgressing and denying Yahweh, and turning away from following our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.

ואסתחר לאחורא עבדי דינא ועבדי זכותא מרחיק קמין ארי אתקילו עבדי קושטא ועבדי הימנותא לא יכלין לאתגלאה:
lathglah yklyn la hymnwtha webdy qwshTa ebdy athqylw ary qmyn mrkhyq zkwtha webdy dyna ebdy lakhwra wasthkhr
Justice is turned away backward, and righteousness stands far away; for truth has fallen in the street, and uprightness can’t enter.

והוו עבדי קושטא מטמרין ודסטן מביש מתבזזין וגלי קדם יי ובאיש קדמוהי ארי לית דינא:
dyna lyth ary qdmwhy wbaysh yy qdm wgly mthbzzyn mbysh wdsTn mTmryn qwshTa ebdy whww
Yes, truth is lacking; and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. Yahweh saw it, and it displeased him that there was no justice.

וגלי קדמוהי דלית גבר דליה עובדין טבין וידיע קדמוהי ולית אנש דיקום ויבעי עליהון ופרקינון בדרע תוקפה ובמימר רעותי סעדינון:
sedynwn rewthy wbmymr thwqph bdre wprqynwn elyhwn wybey dyqwm ansh wlyth qdmwhy wydye Tbyn ewbdyn dlyh gbr dlyth qdmwhy wgly
He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor. Therefore his own arm brought salvation to him; and his righteousness sustained him.

אתגלי למעבד זכון לעמה תקוף ופורקן איתי במימרה לדחלוהי ויתגלי למעבד לאתפרעא בתקוף מסנאי עמה ויתב נקמא לבעלי דבבוהי:
dbbwhy lbely nqma wythb emh msnay bthqwp lathprea lmebd wythgly ldkhlwhy bmymrh aythy wpwrqn thqwp lemh zkwn lmebd athgly
He put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation on his head. He put on garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a mantle.

מרי גמליא הוא גמלא ישלם פורענותא לסנאוהי גמלא לבעלי דבבוהי לננותא גמלא ישלם:
yshlm gmla lnnwtha dbbwhy lbely gmla lsnawhy pwrenwtha yshlm gmla hwa gmlya mry
According to their deeds, he will repay as appropriate: wrath to his adversaries, recompense to his enemies. He will repay the islands their due.

וידחלון ממערבא ית שמא דיי וממדנח שמשא ית יקרה ארי ייתון כשפע נהר פרת מעיקן במימרא דיי יתברון:
ythbrwn dyy bmymra meyqn prth nhr kshpe yythwn ary yqrh yth shmsha wmmdnkh dyy shma yth mmerba wydkhlwn
So they will fear Yahweh’s name from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come as a rushing stream, which Yahweh’s breath drives.

וייתי לציון פריק ולאתבא מרודיא דבית יעקב לאוריתא אמר יי:
yy amr lawrytha yeqb dbyth mrwdya wlathba pryq ltsywn wyythy
“A Redeemer will come to Zion, and to those who turn from disobedience in Jacob,” says Yahweh.

ואנא דין קימי עמהון אמר יי רוח קודשי דעלך ופתגמי נבואתי דשותי בפומך לא יעדון מפומך ומפום בנך ומפום בני בנך אמר יי מכען ועד עלמא:
elma wed mken yy amr bnk bny wmpwm bnk wmpwm mpwmk yedwn la bpwmk dshwthy nbwathy wpthgmy delk qwdshy rwkh yy amr emhwn qymy dyn wana
“As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says Yahweh. “My Spirit who is on you, and my words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your offspring, nor out of the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says Yahweh, “from now on and forever.”
